I called about fire ants at our front door.I got sold a year contract.Orkin came out and sprayed my front door area and my rear lanai.A month, later, I have even more ants dead and alive piled up at my front door and more starting to show up inside the back lanai.This went on for 6 months.I believe whatever they were using attracted the ants. Hence, why a year service contract. Orkin never had any intention of getting rid of my fire ant problem.I called an independent pest guy and with ONE visit, the ants were gone. Even the sugar ants on my kitchen.Orkin is in the business of selling pest control service contracts, not real pest control.

The supervisor, himself, came out to help us with a bed bug problem, even though he was technically on vacation. Weve been with Orkin for many years and I wouldnt even think of using a different company. The technicians and supervisors are always friendly, professional, and understanding of my concerns.

My wife wanted the ants eradicated. As for the termites. I hadnt seen them or evidence of their presence. Matthew, our (free inspection) guy. Said he noticed evidence of 1 species, drywood, in our attic, droppings and highly recommended (full termite service) #1 5yr@ $4437. Quoting Florida is the #1 worst state for termitesI only gave 1 star because I have no evidence if their treatment worked or not.How are anyone to evaluate same day services.But yes, all 3 service guys were neatly attired, prompt, professional and seemed efficient

We have a vacation house in Kissimmee. We hired Orkin to exterminate a roach problem. It took us two hours to empty the cabinets/drawers per their instruction, but their technician didnt do anything in the cabinets. They just sprayed along the wall. When I called asking why, they just blamed the other employees didnt know what they were talking about.On the second appointment, their technician came to our house. He mightve knocked on the door but we didnt hear it. He didnt call us (they have our numbers) just took off. I was waiting there for a whole afternoon, no phone call from them at all.Now after more than a months treatment, our guests are reporting even more roach activity. When I called the technician this morning asking for an extra treatment, he actually suggested to me to switch to another company. Well, thats what I did. I wish I started with another company in the first place so that I could avoid all these headaches and financial loss due to this prolonged problem.

They are no better than terminex or any other big corporation. All they care about is ripping you off!! Ive tried for 3 months to cancel. All the unprofessional and rude people on the phone want to do is argue... Shop small business only...Never use Orkin... They just take your money and service calls dont work.

Our appointment time was from 8:30-10 am, we came from New Jersey to clean my now late grandmother. When it was 10:00, I called ... twice and was told our tech was 5 minutes away, after waiting another 45, I was finally told he was on his way and got there around 11:40. On our call to book this, our main concern was to bring a vacuum because again, we have traveled and have nothing with us. We were told he was not equipped with one and luckily we found one in the way back of the house and he vacuumed for us.The tech was a nice man but honestly, I’m pretty upset with the service. Especially after being told that this company was the first to do Roaches ever. After doing it for so long, you would think there would be better time management.

My house had a pretty serious roach issue due to years of being left unattended. When we first got our orkin treatments, things were going well. I was seeing less & less. Our last treatment was less than a month ago & I’ve been seeing more roaches than ever. We asked our guy about a termite inspection & treatment & got shrugged off. I don’t know it the treatments are even being done. We will probably cancel later on in this week, which is a real bummer.

I gotta say originally i gave this company a great review. The termite man came out was nice and polite. Bug spray man came out very nice and polite. They were suppose to return following friday for the follow up visit and finish the job. No call no show. Called them monday and they apologized and scheduled another time to finish up. Again no call no show. For a 293.00 first visit i expect a job to be completed. Now ive rescheduled work and life around them twice for them to no call no show. Like i said once theyre here they are nice and polite but ya got to get them to show up first. Expecting a full refund today. We will see how that works out.

I was Not at home the day the exterminator came, my family was home but from my understanding whoever sprayed my house did it very quick and I am still seeing palmetto bugs. And when I called the company they did not explain to me that I will be locked into a contract so I canceled immediately. Now I am seeing more roaches and they are dying in my house I have a handicap person and a dog who got very sick licking the walls they were spray.

Called in and had a nice conversation with the person who set the appointment. Very informative, friendly, and helpful. Was willing to accommodate my work schedule....except when the appoint time came around it was a no call no show. Called up for an ETA and the call center rep was unable to reach the branch so she reported a NC/NS. First impressions are everything and Orkin has lost a customer.

Unfortunately the service I didnt receive was non effective in preventing termites eating my shed which protects my lawn equipment. I think I spoke to a Kevin manager which ended up being useless as he was to busy on the phone with a man he claimed was his partner not sure what that meant possibly husband but the end result is my shed has to be repaired.

Very professional and very knowledgeable. We encountered an issue with ghost ants which they were able to identify right away. 2 days later the tech arrived at my house and did a through treatment inside and outside and explained the slow kill process. Loved it!

I had an appointment with Orkin to get my drains treated between 4pm and 6pm on August 20th. The technician rang the doorbell and waited about a minute before leaving. He did not try to knock on the door. I was tending to my children and could not hear the ring door bell. The technician did not try to call my cellphone which I had on me. And Orkin sent me a message saying the technician was here about ten minutes after he left. I have had 4 experiences with these technicians, 2 of which have been extremely horrible. I called the customer service line twice which kept referring me to the local office which is closed. Im extremely dissatisfied with the quality of service and the fact that Im paying 41 dollars a month for absolutely nothing.

Very dissatisfied with not being alerted that my scheduled window between 10am-12pm was going to be late. I am not always on premises, so I have to pay my property manager to be present on my behalf. After many hours passed my time I was alerted via text that they were 5 mins away. I tried to call several times with negative results, leaving my name and number many of times. Still no call back for any of my inconveniences.

Orkin has been my best option yet. They have resolved the bug problem inside and outside of the house. They adjust their schedule to mine and if any issues pop up they will jump on it to resolve. I am happy with my choice.

Josh was very professional and personable at the same time. He gathered samples and explained well. Very good experience. I have a change from this review. I received a call from Josh 2 weeks ago about fumigation which I was interested in. Josh said maybe they could work out to lower the renewal fee of the no tent treatment after the fumigation. Nice but as of yet have not heard back about anything st all. That lowered my rating from 5 to 3.

Orkin is a horrible service, I’d say about 8/10 of their technicians don’t send out the day of texts saying when they are arriving. And god forbid they actually ring the doorbell or make any kind of initiative to actually contact the homeowner. Absolute trash for 92 bucks a service I’d rather pay that to have all their tires slashed. You guys suck.

Desiree is very professional and has a calming/easy-going personality. My family and I are late sleepers and she is mindful of that. She is thorough, in and out as quick as possible, and even locks up the house behind herself when she leaves. We have new neighbors that are of the Jerry Springer Show variety and shes laid back enough to laugh with me when the girl throws the BF out (throwing his clothes into the yard) in the rain but keeps focused on doing her job. I highly recommend her. As we say in the south, shes good people.

We had been using Okin for several months prior to the COVID issue. By June I contacted Orkin and requested them to cancel our treatments due to the financial burden of the pandemic. They were not cooperative at all and insisted that I had to give a 30 day notice. They did the final treatment on July 31 and billed me $100. I will pay their final bill, but when we recover from the pandemic, I will remember their lack of compassion and hire another company. Orkin has forever lost my business.
