I have done Balayage for the first time and I absolutely love it! My natural color is dark brunette and I just wanted to go for something very natural. Tara was my hair stylist and she did an incredible job! I wasnt set on the color choice and wasnt even fully aware of the technique itself. Tara helped me to choose the color with great ease, explained the technique and even taught me how to curl my hair! Tara is a great professional and she definitely loves what she does! She is very easy going and there was this very light and relaxing aura around her that totally makes you feel like you are at a spa! Before I stepped in this salon I did not like my hair, now I absolutely love it whether it is curly or straight! THANK YOU SO MUCH Tara! You are amazing!

It was my first time going to the salon and I am totally looking forward to going again. SINDY did an amazing job. She listened to what I was looking for, offered her suggestions and made sure I was happy with the results.Usually when I go to salons, everything feels rushed but Sindy took her time to perfect her work. This is one of the only places that my husband likes to get his hair cut. Their staff are friendly and welcoming and they do a great job fitting us in last minute. They take COVID procedures seriously which puts us at ease during this time. Their decor is very jungle themed with fake plants and jungle animals around the shop. Their prices are reasonable. The only down side is that there is limited parking so you may want to consider parking at the library and walking a couple of blocks over to get your hair cut.

I’m never going to a white person to cut my hair again, I literally had to show the lady how to use her own clippers to even out the sides of my hair and my hairline.

I had one of the best experiences having my hair done the other day with Cheryl. She did the best job ever on color, not easy on blondes and was very pleasant to be with over 2 hours. I was the only client in salon. I felt totally safe with the protocols in place for covid. The owner Debbie has done a great job! 5 star service

Was able to get in with Paula one more time before she leaves to go back home! Then, Whitney colored my hair. I was wanting to get out of the red I have had for years. It turned out great! The new policies with CV-19 did not affect my experience. It was easy. No blow dry at this time but that is okay. With cut, color and tip it was about $180. Glad to see Bombaii Cutters still in business after the shutdowns.

I go once a month. Debbie is Very personable and makes me feel immediately welcomed. Whitney stiles my hair like the pro she is and I enjoy walking out feeling and looking like a million bucks. 100% recommend Bombaii.

They have been in business for quite a while for a good, bottom-line reason and why I keep going back--outstanding personal service.

This is a review based on two visits. My first visit was great and I walked out with a good cut. My second visit was with a different stylist and I did not like the haircut at all. Id rather go bald. Theres probably a wide difference between the stylists there. Read reviews and choose one. For me, Bethany was the good one! Dont think Ill be visiting again and wont recommend this place for cuts.

My experience here went through an entire emotional turmoil... It was my first time coming here. Needed to give my voluminous hair some love. Some deep conditioning, a trim and some color. Toni did a great job with deep conditioning and my trim... but when it came to color she thought I wanted highlights where as in my head I wanted ruby streaks... so my hair turned out golden instead of red ... it looked good it looked different ... but not what I had in mind... a week later I called Toni and told here this is not the color I wanted... and to my relief she said come on over we’ll fix it... and guess what !!!!! I got my ruby red.... I looooovvvvveeeee it... it makes me want to dance, it makes me want to sing, I makes me want to look in the mirror more.... thank you sooo much

My daughter had her make-up and hair styled for prom. The atmosphere was relaxed and comfortable. She had brought in pictures, the make-up artist created the look perfectly and the stylist was able to replicate a beautiful up-do hairstyle. Our daughter was thrilled and looked absolutely stunning.It was also a nice surprise, that they fit me in for a haircut. Thank you for such a great experience. Well be back soon!

Tried this place twice. First time color and second time cut. Color was supposed to be blond brown but had purple hue. Cut was terrible. One side had huge missing chunk of hair. Can’t fix and have to wait for it to grow. Super disappointed!

I went in over processed and un- manageable and came out with soap opera hair like an herbal essence commercial! OMG worth every penny and more!

Paula is the best! She did my haircut as well as highlights. I am really happy with her work. She spends time helping you figure out what is best for you. I really liked that.

Lovely place I brought a friend for a make over, she had fun and looked good when we were done. what els can you ask from a salon? good value? I think so I gave the make over as a birthday gift.

The price quoted changed and I did not find out until I was at the register but they still charged me more saying it’s a top stylist. I won’t be back.

As a friend of a former employee of this Salon, and former customer, I can tell you that all the good reviews about this salon and its stylists are written by the owner herself, Debbie, My friend witnessed her former boss typing them on her computer in their break room. The owner of the salon was always rude and abrupt with me on the phone, and made inappropriate and strange remarks to my friend while she cut/styled my hair. This place has a strange vibe and the owner is incredibly creepy, one of the scariest faces I have ever seen, mangled by plastic surgeries. This would make no difference if her personality and work ethic werent so terrifying in addition to her face.

My hair cuts always look amazing! A nice hard part and faded into my short sides, Mariea always does an amazing job! She makes sure I like it and she knows how to work my hair with my face shape! Thank you so much girl for the amazing hair cut yet again! See ya in 4 weeks! I highly reccomend this shop, great friendly service, always clean and smells good not to mention some pretty kind ladies!

They are more concerned about upsells than your satisfaction. After going for a year I got a crappy hair dye WAY darker than I asked for. When I said I didnt like it they said it would fade and didnt do anything about it. Time for me to find a new salon.

I had the new Split End treatment right after I had my hair foiled yesterday and it made my hair feel so much smoother and stronger. I would highly recommend it especially after a chemical treatment like foiling!

I get my hair cut here pretty regularly, they do a good job and at a fair price, but I never seem to get the same stylist for my haircuts, which makes it difficult to keep a consistent style.

I have known the owner of Bombaii Cutters for almost 50 years and have been a client of the salon since its inception in 1979. I have always received excellent service and love the hair styles and color they provide. I trust Bombaii Cutters to keep me looking beautiful and professional. As the owners close friend I am well aware of the problems she has had with the former employee who wrote a negative review. My friend is the ultimate professional and works very hard for her Salons reputation. The allegations made by the former employee are entirely false. My own professionalism prohibits me from disclosing the details, but I would simply recommend that one consider the source and also the reputation and job history of the former employee.

Sheryl gave me beautiful hair cut with style on it, I totally recommend this place. Shes perfectionist when it comes to getting your hair done.

I called for an appointment for my son and they told me a couple of people were available. When I walked in there were a couple of stylist chatting and they gave the impression that they did not want to cut my toddler sons hair so he was referred to another stylist who was in the back. Haircut was ok but nobody really knows how to do fades. Maybe I should go to someplace more urban instead of Downtown Kirkland.
