I have never seen the added value of a local agent like this one. I signed up on the national website- my only interaction with this agent was an annual birthday card from her- yeehaa!Until i moved and tried to cancel my insurance that is. I had to deal with this agents office and it has been an atrocious experience. 4 months later, i still dont have a refund or even a formal confirmation that this insurance has been cancelled. The Statefarm central customer service team just passes on any inquiries to this local team. The local team either doesnt respond or is not able to provide any meaningful answers.my advice: find a different insurer. Statefarm appears to be still stuck in the 20th century.

After 25+ years with State Farm I’m writing my first review. Nancy AND her team provide service over and above any agent I’ve ever worked with. I have had multiple properties, a business, and have moved around a lot so I have had A LOT of experience with State Farm over the past 25 years. We recently moved to WA from VA and the transition from our VA agent, selling a home, becoming renters, selling a business, and then buying a home here in just8 short months came with multiple changes to our insurance needs. First and most importantly Nancy had to work above and beyond to unravel the MESS our prior agent had made. I cannot explain without a lot of detail the mistakes he made up to and then throughout the transition from VA to WA but Nancy and her team resolved them all. This was quite a feat as they wouldn’t cooperate (e.g. little things like returning calls) and she was resourceful enough to fix everything perfectly! Fast forward to today when my 8 year old daughter and I were rear ended by a large suv at a high speed and Nancy was not only stepping out of meetings to answer my husbands and my calls but she was taking time to provide some personal advice about how I can expect to feel today and over the next few days. Well it’s nearly 3 am and I’m up and feeling like she said I would feel so I thought to myself (after sending her another email with another question) “hey, now is probably a good time to write that rating that your insurance agent has so clearly earned...”.
