This was my first time at this business. I needed an oil change, air in my tires, and a filter change. My car was screaming for maintenance. The employees were friendly and made sure my vehicle was back working properly and I also qualified for a free wash!!! I was so happy. I really appreciated everyone and left satisfied with my service. Im so glad that I ended up at this business. I am from out of town and happened to find this location online.

Employees should always act professional when doing a job they are being paid for and is making their company money. You never know who is watching from afar so stomping your feet on the ground and throwing a tantrum when you have to do work is childish. Simplest rule to live by “ always treat people they way you want to be treated”.

They broke my rear window wiper blade but according to the signs posted, they arent responsible. Also, theres multiple visible spots on the vehicle that are still dirty to the touch (ten minutes after the wash).

Quick and easy to get in and out during off peak times. Friendly staff. Quick inspection and out the door.

Prices have gone up since I was last there but overall it was a great experience and the service was done quickly ! Thank you staff !!!!!

Bring my work car and personal car here for all oil changes. They are always very reliable and fast. Every time I have come they have given me a free car wash voucher to use within a week of the oil change. The car wash voucher includes free vacuuming.The only complaint is that the past 2 times I have come they haven’t put a sticker on my windshield so I have no idea when my next oil change was due except for search for documentation of previous visit.

Brought 2 cars separate times. 1st car they said needed synthetic oil, and they do not carry synthetic oil. (was not true, car used regular oil.) 2nd car they told me it would cost 70.00 for a oil change in a 2014 chevy spark. (Again regularly oil not synthetic) not sure why it would have cost so much!

If you want to get robbed then definitely do business here. They are failing cars even though it supposed to pass because of safety emissions was eliminated in 2018. Prefect car just a cel and they still failed it. Wasted $22 for them just to tell me it failed

Pulled in to get an inspection only one other car there. They had only one bay opened and pulled in behind the one car. Ended up waiting over an hour and watched two other cars pull in and get oil changes in the other bays. RIDICULOUS!! Finally left without getting car inspected.

Prices are higher than expected, gold service also charged me $3 upcharge for filter, attempted to sell me a cabin air filter for 39.99 that is available at oreillys for 9.99

I normally would give this location a 5 star rating... but the service i received this week (during COVID-19)was very piss poor! The technician who i grew up with informed me about a tire issue.. I left there and replaced the tire... prepared to leave for work the next day and had a flat on another tire... took it to a tire shop to find out that it had a hole and my stem was broken... WILL NOT GO BACK... if they didnt want to change my oil they shouldve said so... Landons attitude was terrible for a MANAGER!

Told twice they did motorcycle inspections, nope. Place was busy, I think they didnt want to take the time

Took my car to get a simple oil change after that my car has been smoking ever since then I have no idea what happened it wasnt doing that before I got it done. Not happy at all.

They have always done a great job on our cars. From oil changes to car washes to state inspections. I was there recently, just finished a car wash and vacuum and then my car wouldn’t start. The gentlemen working that day saved me. They checked my battery and replaced it for me.

Great service, fast and efficient. With my busy schedule I don’t have time to wait an hour or longer for an oil change, car wash etc. These guys get you in and out normally in 15 minutes. Can’t beat the quickness, service or price.

The only place I take my car for an oil change and inspection now. The service is always fast. They don’t always try to upgrade services, which I love. And the car wash is always awesome. Came late on a holiday weekend (didn’t know the closing time), the staff didn’t seem too upset, and the car wash people had everyone in and out. Would recommend to anyone!

I went to get an oil change and ended up almost needing a new car because they did not put the other fluids in my car causing it to run hot! But it’s okay because I won’t be going back along with some others

A few day ago I gave this place a 1 star review because I had an issue with my last oil change service. To my surprise the owner (Chris Gardner) gave me a call and I explained the situation to him. He was very professional and he fixed the problem. Great customer service is really hard to come by these days. I really appreciate the fact that he went above and beyond to correct the situation. Due to his professionalism and customer service I give him a 5 star!!!

I went with a car that has been under a car port for months to be inspected and oil change, the help was rude and very condescending. There was workers sitting on the ground talking not working and when a mouse jumped out of my car, I was made to feel very belittled. Mind you I am well aware that the car has been under a carport for5 months the mouse doesn’t shock me, it was the way the staff handled it. The only saving grace and the only reason I left 3 stars was for the manager Landon was professional, sadly for him his staff are not. I will not be back nor will I recommend any one to stop unless they like to feel belittled and stupid. I would rather pay more else where and be treated with respect.

I came in to get my NC inspection, they told me it would fail due to my headlight. Wanted to charge me for my inspection but did not offer to fix my headlight or tell me what the issue was so I could go get it fixed. I don’t mind paying for the inspection, but if something is wrong you need to tell me what it is. Needless to say I went down the road to another company and it was fixed without any problems and turns out it was not an issue that would stop me from passing my inspection. I stopped taking my car there for auto work but did continue to get my car washed there because the young girl who was always working was so polite to me and helpful. The other day I took my car and found out she no longer works there. So now I no longer have a reason to bring them my business. Beware of this company they can be very shady and money hungry.

I used both services. Yhe oil change and car wash. It was great. Everyone was griendly and helpful. Thumbs up to all.

Last time I used this service I needed an oil change and an inspection. After the inspection, the manager came in and said Oh we cant process your inspection because our system is down. I said ok and went to pay. On the invoice, they were still charging me for the inspection. I asked what was going on and the manager changed her story and said oh...your truck failed inspection. Well, which is it? Either it failed or you couldnt do it!! With the full-service oil change, they are supposed to check the fluid levels for various aspects of the vehicle. Well, my windshield wiper fluid was not filled. And they didnt even reset the computer in my car so I still get notified that I need an oil change!!!! This place is awful and will no longer get my business. If you want quality service, Shell Rapid Lube in Kinston is not the place to take your vehicle!

Came thru here just now Saturday November 4th around 5:45 ish. We had our car washed here earlier today, on the way into town for my mother in laws funeral. My daughter was extremely upset since she was so close with her grandmother and started hyperventilating. We pulled over here since we were familiar with this place. Once we calmed my daughter down, we gathered her tissues and put them in a plastic bag and my mom went to throw them in a trash can. The girl working here felt the need to call my mom a worthless c*nt and flip my 6 year old daughter off. I seriously hope that girl gets treated the same way she treated us when she is going through something that horrible. Additionally I hope that knowing of this vile persons behavior helps people steer clear of this place until someone with better people skills can be hired to replace trash like that. If she didnt want us to use the trash can she could have said that instead of being disgusting and abusive towards an old woman and a 6 year old child.
