I went there to get my car cleaned..it was well overdue and needed a good cleaning..paid $40 which is the #1 service which includes the basic (vacuum & wash) but with ArmorAll on the entire car along with a fragrance which I really didnt smell. Subpar job....for that amount of money my car should have been spotless. I typically dont patronize these places because of that reason. More interested in getting the money than actually doing a good job. There were STILL spots on the car..on the hood..Absolutely horrible job with vacuuming as anyone can see by the pictures. When they were done they walked off, left the drivers side open..never said it was ready.. No marked areas for social distancing and none of the workers that were cleaning the cars had on masks. Employees at the oil change center wore masks. Wont be going back....

I wish we had read the recent reviews before coming here again.Sorry for any misspelled names. Took our van in for the $40 clean. The passenger sliding door worked well before dropping off. Did not function when we went to pick it up (stuck open). Demar was amazingly polite, and the car was fairly clean. Demar gets 5 stars for his behavior and service. I called the main office for 2 weeks with no response. Called the local store and talked to Ryan the manager. Ryan gets 4 stars for his diligence in communication and attempting to resolve the issue. However, he was quick to make assumptions without watching the entire surveillance video and was quick to deny responsibility despite not knowing which door was broken.Got to meet the GM of the entire operation, Rob, and watch the surveillance video with him and Ryan. Rob behaved boorishly from the start. The surveillance video was inconclusive despite their prior proclamations of the video absolving them of responsibility. Only when we all watched the video together did I inform them that they kept talking about the wrong door being broken. When their employee contradicted Robs account of events (employee was present the day in question, Rob was not) in front of us, and I called Rob out on it, Rob behaved like a petulant little child and retreated to his office while saying I could take them to court and that he was done talking.Finally having the door fixed (parts supply was a problem), the cost of the repair is not much more than the cost of filing for small claims court. A refund of our $40 paid for cleaning would have gone incredibly far in creating a positive resolution. However, Robs unprofessional and abhorrent behavior has assured that I will forever bad mouth him and his business and solicit similar services elsewhere.

**WARNING***Came to get a synthetic blend oil change but they ended up putting regular oil so I checked my oil under the hood and it’s the same color before I brought it in spoke to the supervisor over the manager showed him the oil on the dip stick he then got the lady manager and showed her the oil that was supposed to be changed. She said the oil will look like that. I also told her it was supposed to be synthetic oil she said it will be $20 more so we said ok. I looked at her and told her I changed oil before it will not look like used oil so she said she will take the oil out that was just changed so we can look at it...when the oil was coming out it was black as tar and the filter was the same one that was on there. The supervisor didn’t charge any extra money cause they tried to save money by cheating a customer. Please check your filter and oil before you leave this place. I will no longer come here and I will advise people that this place does this.

They did a great cleaning job. Spent $180. Drove the car home and noticed a big dent in the rear passenger side door. Spent $250 to get the dent removed. Last time I will take my car there.

Ryan and some of his employees are very nice and a few do a great job but the quality of the car washing has gone down hill. Missed bugs on the front, mats still had dirt on them, missed places on the windows, missed places on the rims, the console and dash not cleaned good. Im sorry but this is the truth. Im disappointed for the last after almost 20 yrs of doing business with them.

Went today for an oil change and a lady told me I couldn’t wait in my truck until a bay opened during a pandemic. Doesn’t make sense to send people to a waiting room if you don’t have to be in there yet. Was a regular, lost my business today.

I like having somewhere to take my car cause Im not able to do it any longer but I wish they did a better job on the Windows and inside of car I did complain last time but it seems to not make any difference they did say that they had new people guess Ill find out this coming week

DIWANA the manger over the oil change section at this place just ripped me off! Buyer beware she gave me the option of the silver and platinum oil change, which was a difference of $20 bucks or so! I chose the $60 dollar synthetic blend over the $80 dollar as she recommended because it would basically do the same thing for my truck! Now fast forward to the counter when its time to pay it comes out to Close to $90 bucks without no conversation as to how we got there before they did the work, I felt bullied into paying for a platinum oil change over what I asked for, and I will never EVER get an oil change from there again! This was my 4th and last time going there she charged me based on all of the former times that I had gone there, plus they dont even vacuum with the oil change! I would give them 0 stars because I feel like giving them that 1 star is being generous!

I like this place. They have detailed my car and yesterday my truck. When I go to shell they dont detail my car if I have things on the floor. Here they do. I love it.

Too picky on car inspections. One thing they failed me on was, they said there was a nick in one of my wiper blades. I didnt see it. Parking light had a little moister, but worked fine.

For less than $20 you can get a great wash, hand dry, inside windows cleaned and vacuum. Thats a great price for a mini detail.

Worst car wash in Kinston area. Employees act like they have no energy and, broke my antennae off before entering the wash by trying to unscrew it and, left grease on my driver side seat. They are ordering me a new antennae but I have to pay someone else to install it. Cost me $40.00 for a wash and would not return me the money so in other words I paid them $40.00 to break my antennae and still have added expenses for installation and upholstery cleaning.

I would give worse but it would not let me! Worst customer service ever. Went in for service and they made huge deal about window tint when i hadnt ever had any issues with it! Manager was awful and dishonest and rude!! Will never recommend anyone here!!!! Left so angry at this place for still being in business! No wonder the ratings stink! I should of checked them first!! YOU HAVE BEEN WARNED!! DO NOT GO TO THIS PLACE!!!!

They do a good job cleaning my car but under past management did much better. Because of a very negative experience with the vehicle maintenance area, I no longer utilize that section.

It took over 20 minutes to complete my car and there was only one other person waiting. When I got to my car the back seat was barley vacuumed and the exterior looked like I just ran it through a $5 car wash. A waste of $20

This place is a joke. Prices are ridiculously high and super underpaid management. And the manager on the lube side Bobby Lloyd is a crook and will always try to overcharge people. He steals oil from there to try and do oil changes on the side. He charged a woman for a radiator flush that she wanted done and he didnt even do the flush.

I’ve had my vehicle so called washed and vacuumed twice at Auto Brite and both times the service was horrible. My windshield had fingerprints inside and outside. Many places on my car had not been cleaned. Spoke with manager and he proceeded to attempt to clean places I pointed out to him with a spray bottle and a cloth. Using the same cloth that he wiped the dirt and grime from the outer edge of the bottom of my car, he used the same cloth to wipe my windshield.😳 I stopped him and ask him to get a clean cloth so my windshield wouldn’t be scratched and he said that he had turned the cloth over. My questions was and where’s the dirt? (Duh, wouldn’t you think it’s still in the cloth) As I read in other reviews, they are super quick to get the vehicle finished but if taking the car through the car wash and it doesn’t remove the bird poop on top of your car and back windshield there’s a real problem. The only reason I’ve gone back is someone gave me a gift card.

This place is just sorry. had car wash when I checked my car water still on a car, dirt still around my license plate, wheels, rims they havent been wiped it off, I will never go back to auto brite

I am very disappointed in Auto Brite of Kinston. I have taken my families vehicles to them for years. Almost all of our oil changes, washes, and inspections were done at Auto Brite. They lost my business today. I took my wifes car to them about 12:30pm to have the inside shampooed, and was told that they could not do it today because they were already doing another car. I asked if I could leave the car with them and pick it up at 5:30pm. I was told no by the manager on duty. They could only do the one car today. Really? They can only shampoo one car a day? It would not be a big deal except that my daughter got sick in the car last night. My wife and I cleaned it up the best that we could, but it still has a terrible smell. We need it done today, so my wife can drive the car tomorrow. Ill take my business else where, and I suggest others do the same.
