Technician called about an hour before the arrival time and asked if he could stop by early, in about a half hour. We didn’t have a problem with that at all. He was very friendly and professional. He gave us a good estimate on the cost of repair for our appliance, and what the repair would entail.

The tech who came to our home was excellent! He kept us updated of his arrival. He called 20 minutes before he arrived and reviewed the payment again. He got right to work, and figured out the issue immediately. He walked us through what happened and gave us tips to prevent the issue from happening again! He was super knowledgeable and very nice! I took off one star because the call center I spoke to when I made the appointment seemed super sketchy. I was scared to pay over the phone, the rep I spoke to didnt seem to be local, they were not very helpful, I honestly felt like i had gotten scammed, and no tech was going to show up.

The repair wasnt done due to difficulty getting parts numbers from Samsung that worked in their system, my problem remains unresolved as of 5/20/21. I am trying to get Samsung to resolve issue, but was charged $169.00 for service call regardless.

Robert came twice and both times were a huge disappointment. I have an issue with my oven to which when the oven fan turns on, the entire back plate vibrates making an extremely loud noise. The noise is so loud that this buzzing sound can be heard a block away. He left the first visit giving a solution to just push back the top vent plate until the noise subsides. What he didnt mention, was that this buzzing comes back frequently, thus, he never corrected the issue. The second time he came back, he tried to to charge me again knowing that Sears has a policy that if the issue isnt corrected, then all subsequent visits within 90 days come at no additional charge. He also informed me that I would have to buy a double sided tape so that he did not have access to purchase. He later made a follow-up appointment, but on the day he was planned to return to install the tape, he never showed up. I called, left a message and texted him with no response. I am extremely disappointed and would like an explanation to why a well-respected entity in Sears would sub-out work to an individual who is not willing to fix any issues, but is also attempting to over-charge customers. I hope to hear from Sears soon about Robert, his 3rd-party firm, and how my oven, which has been an issue since the day I bought it- will finally get a resolution.

Frank, the Sears tech., called and arrived in a timely manor. He was outstanding! Got right to work, found the problem and had my tractor back in service in an hour. Had my grass mowed before the storm came through and was able to leave on vacation. Frank is a great asset to your Sears team. Repair man says nothing wrong with the range after he took it all apart. It did work, however, he said that the relay in the stove sometimes gets hot and will attempt to light the stove on its own without turning on the gas. He said that if we were going to use the stove a lot for baking, to just pull it away from the wall a little to get more air around it. That sounds like a lot of BS to me. I shouldnt have to pull a kitchen stove away from the wall every time we have to use the oven. We,ll see what the future brings. Not happy with the repair mans answer, Also, Sears appointment time should be narrowed down a little bit not repair man will be there between 8am & 5 pm. Morning or afternoon would be better scheduling. Wife had to take a whole day off from work for this scheduled repair appointmentMar 2018 UPDATE ON STOVE.Stove was working fine until a pot of water boiled over and got into the burner area. We again had to unplug the stove so that the stove would stop trying to light itself. This time, it took 2 days for the burner to apparently dry out so that when we plugged it in, the stove wouldnt keep trying to light itself. We still like the stove just dont spill anything into the burners.

Your repair men (two to date for my dryer) have been knowledge, courteous, and most helpful. My dryer has yet to be successfully repaired owing to the refurbished parts that fail to function. My last technician cornered a new part this time (it has yet to arrive) and hopefully the fourth time will be a charm. That said this is no reflections on the two lovely gentlemen who have been here. Five stars for the service attempts, but only one for the quality of parts to date. M. Norton

The technician came around 8:30am which was very good. He explained to me the process. He was very polite and seemed knowledgeable in what he was doing. He let me know the estimate before he did the work which the price was very reasonable. I am glad that I decided to have someone look at both my dryer and washer because my very first thought was to go out and replace them both. They are both working fine now.Thanks again to the technician(forgot his name), who came out to fix my equipment. Save me a whole lot. If I do come to a point where I have to replace them, Sears would be my first choice.ThanksJoan

Initial inquiry through online chat, to setting up service repair, to having repair done was seamless. My only problem was that service techs in my area were only available during regular business hours on Mondays, so had to take time off from work to be there when they arrived. Service tech that did the work was knowledgeable and professional.

The service techs were great, however scheduling the service took months. Months without a microwave, and 5 attempts to actually show up. Thats 5 days off of work for no reason, a week, 40 hours of vacation time because each time the appointment was confirmed the day before then either a no-show, or we have to reschedule half-way through the day-of the appointment. Like I said, the techs were polite, professional, and got my Microwave up and running, so they get 4.5 stars. But the rest of the experience was rounded up to zero stars from some unattainable negative number.

This worked really well and was actually reasonably priced .With all the local repair people not working on the LG brand this was a relief to find. Guy was thorough and parts came quickly and were installed as soon as they came in. They do the diagnosis, order parts to ship to your house but make a future appt one month out . You call Sears when the parts come on (48 hrs later) and you will get an appointment for within 3 days .Great service .

I was disappointed at first because I had an appointment and waited all day only to have it cancelled after 4pm, but your repairman really knocked himself out to make up for that snafu. He came on time, realized he needed a part, and arranged to have the part delivered by hand the next day so he could finish the repair before the party I had planned for the following day. The dishwasher works fine now and I really appreciate the fine service.

The repairman was very nice but the wrong parts were ordered and ultimately we were told that the part was no longer available. It took three weeks and the ice machine still does not work. Our jack of all trades handyman says he can find the part on line and will fix it for us. We were left with no paperwork about the necessary part so we are stuck. The refrigerator works perfectly except for the ice-crusher; I do not want to buy a new refrigerator for hundreds of dollars just to get crushed ice.

I was pleased with the courteous service, the promptness of the technician, as well as the phone call before he arrived. Though our dryer died a few days after the first technician came, the second one proved to us that it was a completely different part that needed replacement this time. We have the warranty, so it didnt cost us. Unfortunately it does confirm that everything is poorly made these days.

Brian, the repairman arrived when he said he would. Jumped the battery so he could move the mower to the driveway where he could work on it. It was a cold day and I offered to have him work in the garage, but he said he wouldnt risk messing up the garage. He explained the repair plans Sears offered and fully explained the work he did.He was courteous, helpful and left the area clean after putting the mower back in the garage.

This was by the far the worst service experience Ive ever had. The water heater I bought from Sears broke and I had purchased an extended warranty: what could go wrong? Everything. Sears made and broke no less than six repair appointments. This was a big deal, because I dont live at the property in question so I had paid someone each time to wait for their visits (which have an 8 am to 5 pm window.) This went on for nearly two months, during which I could not rent out the house. It was finally fixed a few days ago -- but guess what, the warranty, it turns out, only covers parts and not labor for the visit. Make that two visits, since the first one was really only to determine what was wrong with the water heater. (Spent nearly $400 in the end.) My advice: buy nothing from Sears. Ever. And certainly not an appliance!

It took 3.5 months to repair an oven on a 3 year old Kenmore stove. Twice Sears repair sent the wrong part and once they sent a defective part. The serviceman was terrific and patient. He did his part. Now I am waiting for Sears to give me 3 more months on my warranty! Hah!

First appointment they did not show up and the technician that was supposed to told customer service that he was there and left a tag on the door. I was there all day and did not hear anyone knocking and there was no tag that was put on our door. They finally came on the third scheduled appointment and had to put the part in on the fourth time coming to our house. So four days had to be taken off to be present for the appointments. Not shopping on Sears anymore!!!

This was the 2nd repair attempt on our refrigerator, and this tech, Victor, apparently knew what he was doing, and replaced the correct parts and was done in a little over an hour. The fridge has been running at a steady 40° since. Thank you Victor for a job well done.

I was very disappointed that Sears has outsourced its call in center. I first spoke with someone in the Philippines I believe- I was cut off more then once and had to call back and tell the whole story again- Then I was transferred to someone in Texas- who somehow was able to diagnose the problem due to my explanation of the issue with my washer- which turned out to be incorrect. The repair guy came and replaced the spring- ( he should have known this was not the problem ). He then told me that the issue was my washer was not level - and that was the problem. So I called my friend who built the platform that the machine is on and he came over and put a level on it and it was quite level. Having been a washing machine repair person for many years, he told me that the main shaft was bent and that it was obvious and the repair person that came earlier should have recognized this. So I called the Philippines again today and well see if the repair happens this time

After the initial visit, in which i was told the repairman no longer carried that part in the truck and it had to be ordered, I waited 10 days for the next visit - no ice or cold water from my refrigerator - and he replaced the pumps in 2 minutes....but then told me the copper coil was kinked and I shouldnt turn the water on to test the repair job. He also said he could not repair the coil and suggested how a handy person could fix it. So I dont know if the repair was successful or if I still have a leaky refrigerator...

We have been buying the $1000 Master Plan Extended Warranty from Sears for many years and it is not worth it. It is a rip off. The one time that we needed an appliance replaced and they would not do it. In fact we had have not had our Dishwasher working since AUGUST 25 2016. It is not working and we are waiting for a part. When the part comes in we will have to call to see if they will come back to the house and install it. We have had it serviced 3 times so far. I called the corporate SEARS Phone number and asked to speak with one of the Executives of Customer service. A woman who did not answer the phone with her name said, Im not sending you there! Then she transferred me to an automated line. When I called right back she sent me again to the automated line and would not even listen to why I was calling. WE WILL NOT BE RENEWING OUR WARRANTY AND WE WILL NEVER BUY ANOTHER SEARS APPLIANCE. Save yourself your time and money and dont buy it. We are not in the process of contacting the NYState AG to file a complaint and a complaint with the better business bureau. No wonder Sears is losing market share. The executives are locked in the Ivory tower with no feed back. There stock I see is down again at $11 an hour. Goodbye Sears. I will be making my purchases from Home Depot from now on. I have always had them jump through hoops for my business.

The repairman came as scheduled on April 14 and installed the new oven control pad. However, he didnt have with him the decal that goes on it. Fortunately, he was able to put the old damaged but readable decal on so that I could use the oven. I expected him to have everything needed since I had given the appliance and model number when I scheduled the repair. Since he didnt have the decal, he had to come back on April 26 to add the decal. This was inconvenient for me and aggravating.

Thanks to our technician Robert, we continue to have a positive experience with Sears Home Repairs. Although it was frustrating to have a problem in the first place, Robert knew what the problem was the moment he entered my home and ordered the parts right away. When he came back to my home to install the new parts, he was quick and efficient. You would do well to hire more technicians like Robert. Hes not only professional but hes friendly and kind.NOTE: At one point, the parts used to be shipped in advance, when I made the appointment but that no longer is the case. PLEASE go back to that system!! If this particular system were still in place, I wouldve been without my range for one week, not more than two. As a customer who ONLY owns Sears Kenmore appliances, and continues to purchase the Service Agreements, I think weve earned that right.

My dishwasher went... sears contracted ars to fix my dishwasher since I have their warrantee took 2 weeks to get someone out here....said he had to order a part which was back ordered. Would call me when part was delivered. 2 weeks later I call sears and they say part was shipped the day after my appointment. They transferred over to ars. The guy said he would be here Wednesday between 9-12am. Wednesday came no show. No call either. I called and guy didnt even acknowledge appointment. Said he was in mountains. Cant make it today. I asked whom I talked to other day that made appointment for today. guy went irate and threatened to ship part back and hung up on me. I know companies like this dont like warrentees and we usually on back burner cause they want the pay out of pocket services. Not a warrantee that customers dont pay but a deductable but still worst service I have seen.

I was very dissatisfied with the workmanship of the repairman. He came to the house 7 times for same issue. I know this person did not know what he was doing. He also made many phone calls to others for help, which helped less. We are now in process of replacing refrigerator which is not three yrs. old. and one of the best elites. Hopefully this one will not need tending...Thank god I had the insurance on this appliance. These techs need more education on the products before sending them out to repair.

Refrigerator/freezer broke again 2 days after repair man left. Again, had entire contents of refrig and freezer destroyed. Losing hundreds of dollars worth of food. We have the dishwasher from hell. The repair team tries really hard to fix it, however, they put more parts and service into this machine that could have probably purchased two other machines. Oh, and it broke again and this time flooding the kitchen floor. Now waiting ten days for the repair appointment and then of course parts will need to be ordered and another repair appointment will be set in few more days. Did I tell you I hate Bosch dishwashers.
