The customer service at Kingsbay was great . We were traveling through the area and had tire issue on a motor home. After trying 3 other places with no luck we found Kingsbay. Nate actually went out for a specialty part to get us back on the road so we didn’t have to worry about a blow out on the interstate . Glad to find Nate who was knowledgeable & professional.

I was in a bad spot and the boys got me back on the road which i really appreciated. Got it done quick even though they were busy and I just showed up. Highly recommend them all around top shelf service.

We are on our way to a family celebration of life and our camper van decided to have mechanical issues. Kingsbay Tire and Service repaired the van and we are back on the road by 9:30 a.m.We were fortunate that our campground referred them! Thanks to all of you.

Had scary catastrophic wheel-bearing failure at 4am on I-95 near Kingsland (800-miles from home); Russells wrecker (Mike) showed up quickly and dragged me back to Kings Bay PRONTO (before opening hours). Chris repaired my truck as honorably as Mikes delivery. Seems like theres a couple good mechanics and a couple slackers working there, but I was extremely fortunate these guys managed to get me in, fixed, and on my way in about 2-hours. Having Car-Quest auto-parts right next door is a great time-saver. Kings Bay is a life-saver!

Quick, friendly and fair

I made an appointment to have my two front tires mounted. I decided to purchase my tires on-line and bring them here for mounting. When I arrived they were quite busy with walk-ins. During the check-in I asked how long to expect it to take, and was told around 45 minutes. I planned for much longer. But to my delight they completed the work in about 50 minutes! They took their time to check the torque after using the impact wrench. Nice! Overall they were very courteous and professional. And they beat their quoted price too! This is a small local shop that does general maintenance too, including diesel engines. Very happy and will use them again given the opportunity.

I can’t say enough about the great guys at Kings Bay Tire and Service!!! We had been on the road for 8 hours and only 45min. from home in Jacksonville, FL. We hit a very large piece of metal on the interstate that got lodged under our car. After my husband pulled off the road and unlodged the metal we took the next exit and asked a police officer where the nearest service station was located. He told us that King’s Bay Tire and Service was only a mile down the road. We pulled in the lot with only 20min. Left until they closed. They immediately put our car on the lift and gave it a very thorough check. Giving us a reassuring thumbs up to head on home. Then they didn’t charge us a dime! Just said it was a safety check. Friendly, fast, inexpensive and I felt like I was visiting a cousin, who just happens to work on cars. Dont ever sell out to big corporations boys!

Broke down on I95, looked up nearest assistance on Google, and this shop came up. They towed me in, and after discovering the car wouldnt be repaired until the next day, they gave me a ride and picked me up the next morning. The only reason this is not a five-star review is that the Gen Manager was incredibly rude, would not respond to questions and exhibited virtually zero human characteristics. Ill leave his name out, with respect to the actual owner of the business. Fortunately, I worked with Chris, the Service Mgr of the shop. Friendly, honest, hard working and helpful the entire way through. When you call or walk in the door, just ask for Chris, your experience will be more pleasant. The shop did great work, and got me back on the road when promised, and the rates were reasonable.

I needed tires and an alignment for my vehicle. Kings Bay Tire & Service had what I needed in stock, gave me same-day service while I waited. Steve (manager?) was friendly and knowledgeable, and took time to show me wear patterns on my old tires that indicate another problem I need to have addressed. I feel confident having these folks work on my vehicle and will bring it back to them again.

Very good and timely service

I find it rather interesting that I was told after 45 minutes that the rattling noise coming from under our car was an issue with the alternator and that it would be well over $400 to repair, but the shop a mile down the road took a whole 5 minutes to diagnose the issue and tell us it was a small part of the heat shield coming loose. We removed the piece and low and behold, no more noise. They didn’t even charge us for their help.Go figure..This shop is a sham. Crooks even.PS, you may want to be careful not to bring any of their cockroaches home too. There were baby roaches crawling all over the front desk in broad daylight when we went.

I gave this business a great review until now. Stay far away from this company and unless you want to over pay and have the job they did break a month later. We had work done and literally one month later to the day it feel apart. We had to pay someone to fix it and he told us the work that was done was a patch job and they didnt even do it correctly. We tried telling Russell what happen and he didnt want to hear about it, would not even come to the phone. They would hang up on us before we could even talk about it. Awful customer service and very rude people.

Car was to be taken back for realignment and one other problem. 8 a.m. the alignment machine was down he was having problems with the hard drive. He put one hard drive in and it failed. So he had to call a tech from out of town and of course the tech shows up when they want. The gentleman in the shop were very professional and tried to help as much as they could but as we all know when hard drives go down were stuck. I would recommend using this business.

Response to the Owner:1-The Service Manager checked me in for my appointment and at no time did he mention Id be delayed in receiving service, allowing me, THE CUSTOMER, to determine if I wanted to wait.2-When your Admin Asst. arrived for work, twice, she inquired of the estimated time for my service, and even then your Service Manager never came out to apologize nor address my wait time.3-When, at 830AM, I asked that my keys be returned so I could leave, your Service Manager still did not come out to apologize nor explain why I had been waiting for service 1 HOUR past my appointment time, it took ME ASKING to speak with the Manger before he deemed my time and patronage of your business worthy of him addressing me and my complaint. When the Service Manager finally did speak with me, his FIRST comment was NOT an apology, but to say what he was about to do, insinuating that my reaction was unjustified; the apology did not come until AFTER I reminded him that I had been waiting 1-hour beyond my appointment time for service.So, please do not suppose to think, nor imply, that my response to your Service Managers disrespect and POOR CUSTOMER SERVICE is unreasonable because an insincere apology was offered well beyond the point of salvaging my relationship with your company.

I was in need of a couple exhaust pipe pieces to fix my car and was directed to this business by a friend. The whole experience was terrible. The unfriendly salesman at the front desk, after finally finding the pieces I needed in their very limited selection. I was overcharged (50$ for two small pipes and I didnt receive a receipt, I think he pocketed some of the money) then they cut the pieces wrong and didnt start at the bigger end like we agreed on... so in a nutshell the whole thing was a waste after I got home and realized it. All because I couldnt afford to bring my car up for them to work on it in 2-3 days, I cant wait days. I learned my lesson and will not be going back to this business ever.

The epitome of over promising and under delivering. And when called out on their errors the GM, Steve, will simply walk away from you. The guy in the office, Chris, tells you you have no choice but to deal with their gross negligence, or “get out”.

My husband and I decided to take our Jeep that had been in storage to Kingsbay Tire and Service after totaling our other family car. We knew the Jeep was having a misfire, and also knew it would probably be expensive to fix. After being looked at for 2 days we received an extensive list of issues totaling $2000 ($300 in parts, $1700 in labor). We needed a vehicle so we went through with the repairs. A couple days later we picked up the Jeep excited to have a car finally (mind you we’re a family of 4). The very next day my husband is driving to work and the jeep nearly BLOWS up—smoking and leaking fluids. He called the shop immediately and they towed him back to the shop, they explained that they clearly missed something and they would be fixing it. Later that day we learned it needed a new head gasket. After a week we started calling asking if the Jeep was ready to be picked up. We were then told the problem still hadn’t been fixed, and they needed more time. From this point forward we were told time and time again they had identified the issue and were waiting on parts or needed more time to fix it. Finally after a MONTH we told them that we could not wait any longer. When my husband went to the shop, they said they were almost finished and that it was working great. My husband asked for a receipt of what work had been completed for our records and they refused since we weren’t paying. Then they tried telling him that if he at least did not pay for the parts that the owner would be taking it out of their personal paychecks. My husband refused and they threw the keys at him! He is an active duty US Sailor who was in uniform and they had the nerve to treat him like that! My husband left and on the way home the check engine light came on again! We were told not to bring it back because if we do we will be charged for the parts previously installed. THIS PLACE IS A JOKE. The service is horrible, and they cannot admit if they’ve made a mistake they will just avoid your calls or hang up on you.

NO RESPECT FOR THEIR CUSTOMERS!Today, I had a 7:30 AM appointment scheduled for a tune-up; rather than honor the appointment made a week prior, the staff thought it more expedient to unapologetically CLEAN THE SHOP while I waited. By 8:30 AM I had had enough and decided to leave, to which I was offered a half-assed apology from the shop manager, stating the technician was about to pull my car in for service when I decided to leave. Bottom-line: having an appointment, and knowing I had been waiting - 1 HOUR! - werent sufficient reasons to render a modicum of professional customer service, only the possibility of losing money prompted any action. Ridiculous! Needless to say, the level of DISRESPECT shown to me as a customer has resulted in the loss of my business, as I will NEVER use nor recommend Kings Bay Tire & Service again! Some southern hospitality!

Service is absolutely horrible! Its highway robbery for one, they cant do an alignment to save their lives, and the woman who test drove our car after hit something and tore the inner plastic fender wall! My steering wheel is still crooked after giving them a second chance to fix it. I ended up walking away with my tires still not aligned, my fender torn up, and $90 poorer.

Awful, they didnt even notice my broken front sway bars. Considering I told them I was having suspension problems. They were over priced on my exhaust system repair. Oil change was over priced and workers not friendly at all.
