Clint at Hollingsworth Automotive went above and beyond for my family. Our car began acting up on a road trip and I was so fearful we’d be stranded! I found this shop online, called Clint from the side of the road, and right away he said he’d help me out! When we arrived, he diagnosed a failed alternator, located the part and said he could complete the repair in a few hours. He graciously offered to bring me and my family to a local restaurant where we enjoyed a wonderful meal. Before we knew it he’d returned to bring us to our car, repaired and topped off and ready to get us back on our way!! Clint saved the day, not to mention our vacation and my peace of mind!

Clint is an awesome, honest mechanic, and they are a great family business, even the pet doggo is at the garage.

I passed by just to ask a few questions. Im from out of town so I needed help fast. Big named Clint (I think), gave me information on how they can help. Seemed like a great guy. Trustworthy looking. Didnt seem like a desperate person looking to make a quick buck. He actually cared. I ended up going with another mechanic, not bc of Clint but bc family here was all like... You need to go to this other guy. Kinda let them take over. So if it were not for nepotism I wouldve chosen this shop. Ty for the kindness, and Im sorry I couldnt bring my vehicle.

Great service & great price. I was traveling from out of state and was having problems with my alternator. Found the shop by searching google maps and decided to call due to the good reviews. Mr. Hollingsworth was very accommodating and able to get my truck right in the shop with no waiting. One hour later I was back on the road. Highly recommend!

We were traveling home from Florida back to Pennsylvania and realized there was something wrong with the muffler. We told them we were traveling and they looked at our car immediately and gave us options and their honest opinion on what the best solution was for us. I was in a tight spot, and was on my way home from my honeymoon when my car overheated ( you can imagine the stress of that situation), i had it towed to the place my family and friends always recommend. Mr. Hollingsworth called me that evening, with a plan, a quote, and even told me that it was his priority to get my vehicle back to me ASAP. it was ready the next day, and its running like a charm. These guys are honest, hardworking, and definitely great at what they do. These are definitely the go to guys for all your repair needs.

I just took my car to Hollingsworth to get it diagnosed for a recurrent check engine light that started the day after I bought the car while I was driving it from Augusta down to Kings Bay. The code was generic and indicated lots of potential issues. I had already had an issue with the dealership I bought it off of having the wrong type of oil in it so I was expecting the worst, however, the Hollingsworth mechanics started with the most likely / least expensive potentials first and after replacing the air filters that looked like they hadnt been replaced since the car was built in 2006 the fault code cleared and hasnt been back since.While Hollingsworth Automotive could have easily taken advantage of the fact that I am from out of town and am unfamiliar with the car since I have only owned it for two weeks, they acted with honesty and integrity. Mr. Hollingsworth even asked if I am in the military and gave me a discount which I didnt think to ask about. The entire staff was courteous and very helpful through the entire process. I wish the dealership I bought the car off of in Augusta had the same business model.

Really Good people. Family owned business. They make a real effort to keep your costs minimal and to buy locally. The Hollingsworth Automotive staff has gotten to know us over the last few years as we keep taking our cars in for different used car problems. They deal with us with honesty and integrity. Anyone who has been unhappy with this business just hasnt had a chance to really communicate with anyone there. Recommended by friends - to friends!

I have been to a couple places for boat work around here and Clint is by far the best guy to use! He gets the job done right the first time and at a better price!

Paid $1,500 last summer for our boat to be repaired. Pulled it to TN for our family vacation. It ran two hours then died. Returned it to Hollingsworth end of Jul 2017, he was supposed to fix under warranty. He said it was another part. So he supposedly ordered other part. Here it is March 2018 and we finally gave up as we really want to get it fixed. He made several promises he would start on it. Yeah right. He wouldnt produce the part when asked for it. Boat is a mess from sitting there. It at least would turn over before taking it there. Never again

These people are amazing I was traveling from fl to nc when my truck died out I stopped at one shop and they could not figure out what was wrong so I had it towed to Clints shop. Within 10 min he had my truck running, and within a day he had her ready to go. He was polite and patient and reasonable considering the time he put in and the aggravation of me calling him. I highly recommend him to anyone.

Clint has fixed an air conditioner, front wheel bearings, installed ringing boards, and other stuff. He is efficient, reliable, and affordable.

All i can say is you get what you pay for here. I took my truck in here to be fixed, it sat there forever and still never got fixed. I was quoted one price than another. These people dont have a clue what is going on. Finally i towed my vehicle out of there shop and had it fixed in town else where. These people should be named backwoodsdonthaveaclue Automotive. Definitely go here if you wanna have a huge headache. CLUELESS!!
