Dave V and Mike V saved us from the summer heat!!! They finished the install a few days ago and life could not be better. The entire process was smooth and everything was delivered as promised. Dante came out for an in-home walkthrough and sent us pricing the following day. Once we decided to use their services, he cam back to go over everything one more time.On the installation side, Mike and Dave were on time, clean, and they did a great job. They left our home tidy and clean at the end of each shift which goes a long way. Once the install was finished, they went over the operation and maintenance of the system.Overall, I would recommend Unique Indoor Comfort Heating and Cooling to everyone.

Wow what an impressive number of excellent reviews! Google hands out 1 star albeit unnecessarily in this case…Their reputation precedes them and I would imagine that in many cases they are one of the best in PA. That said, I feel that the defining element of excellence in the service world is not how one handles good situations where everyone is happy but how they handle bad ones. Situations involving misleading conversations, miscommunication, and overt mistakes in the agreed upon and purchased equipment. It is a sick feeling when you place your trust so completely in a company and end up frustrated, accused of making the wrong choices, and sweating in your home while your expensive hardwood flooring warps and bends in the heat and humidity. Not only did the system not turn on when the install team left our home, when it finally did turn on the cooling was unimpressive, the humidity levels were way too high, and despite days of waiting for “the moisture to be pulled out of the air,” we are left with a 3rd floor that cannot be pushed below 79 degrees F on a 90 degree summer day. The temperature is not nearly as much of an issue as the humidity, the drips of water falling onto the back of our drywall, and the perspiration. I could go on and on about SEER rating, load calculations, and tons but none of this really matters. I’m not someone who ever wanted to know about refrigeration. Let’s just put it this way…I was seeking refuge in a 1990 Ford F-150 parked in front of my house. The AC in that old piece of junk gives me goosebumps! On means cool. Numbers down means cooler. 79 degrees with humidity at 90% doesn’t feel cool to me. A great deal of $ spent on an AC system that doesn’t cool my house is an overwhelming disappointment. Excuses from the HVAC contractor, and “we will look into it” is insulting and hurtful. We can do better than this and I can only pray that my experience will turn from bad to good.

Everyone at Unique from sales to installation was knowledgeable and professional. Ive used them to install a new central AC condenser and coil and a new furnace that was ruined after recent flooding. They were responsive and very helpful through the whole process and very competitive with pricing. Excellent company all around!

We’ve used Unique from day one when we bought our new house. Their overall vibe sold us over other companies some that were less expensive. We couldn’t be happier alway professional and super personable. They’ve taken care of everything from full advice then install of all new HVAC in a challenging 1852 Stone home, constant maintenance and in one day came today to check our furnace from flood damage. Mike Pagnottelli was my contact there and I have to say that my only complaint was that it all seemed too easy. But it was! He came in, sized things up, figured out what to do. Then the installers came in, did such a clean and professional job. All were fantastic and I am so glad it is over with, as I expected things to be way more messy and complicated. Highly recommend! They converted my oil furnace to gas.

My kitchen split a/c unit stopped working yesterday. Called this afternoon and Unique Comfort fitted in a service call this evening. It was around 8:15 PM, but I was very grateful. Technician has to order a new computer board and thermostat. I’m very grateful for the prompt service call, and expert diagnostics.

Unique stepped in after another company tried to “foo l” me due to being a woman. We had originally called for a quote on a new unit. Scott came out, took one look and advised we still have a few years and the other company was incorrect and tried to take advantage. He recommended that the service techs come out and look over the unit. The first tech Joe came out and confirmed Scott’s theory that the unit was in good shape and just needed a maintenance but that there was no need for mechanical parts to be replaced or the entire unit. We set up a maintenance, Sean came out and did a fantastic job, was early, quick and efficient. All three gentlemen were professional, explained everything and did not in any way try to sell us anything. Also Kyle in the office whom I spoke with after my first meeting with Scott was great too! Well done and you all gained a customer for life.

We had an excellent experience from beginning to end. I value communication ten times over price, and Dante was extremely professional and quoted us the same/similar as another large installer. Alex and Juan executed the install. They were very friendly, professional, and did a great job keeping the area clean. We have a ton of blown insulation and plaster walls, so big kudos for dealing with a 200 year old house.

We had a ductless system installed by Unique a couple of years ago and have been using them for the service and maintenance. They arent the cheapest company that we talked to for installation, but they are very knowledgeable and they were able to install the units with minimal disruption to our house, which is almost 100 years old. We havent needed any repairs, but have a service plan that includes bi-annual maintenance. The service people are always prompt, friendly and professional. We are having them install additional ductless systems later this year.

Alex and Juan worked tirelessly over a week installing AC in our 180 year old house. They arrived early each morning, focused on what had to be done, accomplished a lot each day (sometimes in a blazing hot ceiling), worked quietly, cleaned up as they worked and left this house better than before the work started. They were friendly and always willing to stop to answer questions I had as the project unfolded. Both gentlemen were wonderful to have around. Honestly, I was a bit sad to see them leave today now that all the work is complete. We have had many contractors work on our house over the years. I cannot remember a team I could recommend more than Alex and Juan. A +, five stars, highest marks for this team!

Very honest- other company claimed my heater was broken and needed replacement. Unique quotes a new hvac system, but also said let’s test it further. They tested it and said it is fine and dies the need to be replaced

Amazing. Very rarely do you work with a services company whose back office staff, sales teams, and technicians mimic the same level of professionalism. Unique is THAT company. I raved last year about the seamless installation (we didnt have to close any holes or clean up anything). This year our 1yr check in was even easier. Reuben called to confirm, arrived on time, wore protective gear (feet and shoes) in the house, thoroughly explained the maintenance process and where he might need me to show him around, arrived with all necessary equipment, performed thorough maintenance, shared his assessment and left. Easy breezy, pleasant and stress free. I almost wish I needed to work with them more often. Make sure you call early to get on their schedule.

Ours is a nice old house with radiators. Unique has installed high velocity A/C on two similar houses on our block. The crew, Quy N., Bruce S., Tan T., Daniel M. and Josh A were efficient, considerate and professional. They were sensitive to the character of the house and made a solid effort to make the system as unobtrusive as possible.

I have a service contract for my home heating system with Unique because Ive always had good experiences with them. This time I need them to re-install one radiator that was moved by carpenters who replaced my flooring. Technician Beshoy Aziz arrived on time, did not rush, assessed the situation, listened to my concerns (!!!) and gave me an estimate for the work, which will not be straightforward or easy due to the age and position of the parts. The technician was knowledgeable, competent and explained the required work to me concisely and well. I feel that Im in good hands and the job will be well coordinated.

When we moved into an old house in Mt. Airy in 2018. The previous owners had used this company to install a high velocity system. We inherited the service contract. The first year they forgot to cap something and there was a leak and water damage to the entire 3rd floor we had just renovated. To the credit of the company they took responsibility and fixed it.Now at 2021 everything was fine and regular service just occurred and there is now a huge leak again. They are currently trying to figure out what was messed up. Everything was fine and after scheduled service the whole 3rd floor is again leaking.This company is very responsive but they employ so many people who I’m not sure know what they are doing. The current damage looks exactly like what happened a few years ago and was thousands of dollars and a lot of hassle to fix.

Our tech arrived early, and started immediately on the system. He was there to clean our coils and tune up the air conditioner system. He was very prompt, courteous, and had a high level of expertise. He explained some details about our system and even helped tuneup the airflow setting within the unit itself to give us better comfort. That was welcomed and unexpected. He talked about some potential malfunctions for unit damage and then at the end of the visit assured me that it must have been just residual and should not be a problem. I really appreciated that because he gave a lot of effort and I did not feel like I was being “UpSold” Like I have in the past. We coordinated for him to install a thermostat once I receive it and make another appointment with the company, he also is coordinating someone to come in and Inspect our ductwork as I asked for further assistance.I know there were some groups that offered coupons and may have been slightly less expensive. I considered that but based on all of the positive reviews, I went with Indoor Comfort and am very pleased so far!! They exceeded my expectations.

We needed A/C repair on our hard to access unit on the 3rd floor roof of our home in Center City. Installed high velocity central AC in our small 90 year old home 5 years ago. Had the same company return last year during a house renovation to move portions and add to our current system. Recently we started having some issues with the system just shutting off. The fellow who showed up Frank was great. When asked he said he was vaccinated and he wore a mask. Needless to say he came equipped with the wrong part so he has to come back.My concern was my call to the company asking to make sure their employees are all vaccinated. They used the HIPPA response. One guy said it isnt political. I said I know that, its scientific. He hung up. Not pleased.

I have a service plan with Unique Indoor Comfort. The AC stopped working over the weekend when I heard a few loud bangs and smelled burning wires. I called first thing Monday morning and was able to get a technician out by 12pm. Eric S was great and had it fixed within an hour. Everything was covered under the plan. We came home from vacation to find our AC not working and our house at 100 degrees. We have a service plan, and they came out about an hour after we called. Were back up and running. Best of all, our repair was covered by our plan, so no crazy unexpected repair fees!

Having Unique install a high-velocity AC system in my home was a pleasure from first to last. Chris did an excellent job explaining all the options and describing how the system works. He addressed all my questions promptly and in detail. Bruce and the install crew were on time, professional, and consulted with me along the way to make sure the system was just what we wanted. They left the house clean and neat each day. The weather is still cold, so we havent used the AC yet, but we have been using the system on fan mode to recirculate the heat from our wood stove, which works great and is a nice bonus.

Pat was the technician who serviced my heating system and he was exceptionally polite and professional. The type of customer service you expect when doing business with any company.

AC not cooling, Unique prioritized customers on maintenace service plan, and came on day of call. Was able to do a temporary fix while waiting for a part to be ordered. Very responsive and good service.

Quality of workmanship was poor. System broke after only 21 months since installation due to multiple leaks. Unique wanted exorbitant $$$ to fix problems caused by their incompetence. The whole experience was a nightmare. I would never recommend Unique to anybody.

Chris provided excellent service right from the start. He was early for the appointment, assessed my HVAC system and diagnosed the issue as a problem with the capacitor, which he replaced. Rather than taking the simple solution at face value, he completed a full assessment to ensure there were no other issues lurking. Additionally, he provided insight on optimal timing for routine maintenance and other helpful hints. This was my first experience with Unique, but I would highly recommend them.

Our AC went down in the evening in the middle of a heat wave. I called Unique and they had someone out here within a few hours. Xavier arrived, got straight to work, figured out the problem and had the unit back up and running in about 30 minutes. He then took the time to explain what happened and even stayed for a while after it got back up and running just to make sure it was working properly, even though it was after 9pm. Unique just installed high-velocity AC in our 100-year-old home. It was a complex 8-day job and the whole process went smoothly. Dante, the sales rep, was really knowledgeable and spent a lot of time with us to answer all of our questions. Brandon, the system designer and site supervisor, was similarly attentive and explored many options for the system setup, which due to the nature of our house was complicated. He also always answered our calls immediately and listened to everything we had to say.Quy and Tan (and a guest appearance by a third person whose name we unfortunately didnt catch), the installers, were amazing. They were hardworking, meticulous, courteous and respectful of the rest of the home (and the fact that we were working from home). They kept us informed throughout the day of what was going on and were great with cleanup at the end of each day. Quy is an absolute master at what he does and Tan mentioned how happy he is to be learning from someone like him.Throughout the project everyone took their time to present options to us and we were never pressured to do was what was easiest or fastest. They always emphasized that we should feel comfortable and they would work with what we decided. Everyone also said in conversation that they liked working for a company that places an emphasis on communication and quality. We saw that in practice with how careful everyone was throughout, no matter the time that it took. The resulting system looks amazing and we have complete confidence that it will work beautifully for years to come.

We get excellent service on our high velocity air conditioning, which we bought many years ago from Unique. From the people answering the phones to the people who work on our system, everyone is professional and concerned with providing the best service possible. I highly recommend!

Trong and his crew did a great job replacing our old non-functioning AC system in our historic Philadelphia home. He arrived promptly every morning and explained the work to be completed that day, as well as answering all our questions. All workers were respectful of our home and privacy and always put down protective drop-cloths and cleaned up at the end of each day. All the new equipment that was installed was as described, installed professionally, and functioned perfectly. I called Unique to have a yearly HVAC System cleaning and service. Quite embarrassingly I have had my heater for 18 years and never had it serviced. Pat K. from Unique came to my house and was very professional and friendly. He said my heater was actually in excellent condition and exceptionally clean for never having been devices in the past. I’m also going to have Unique perform some custom ductwork repair that is needed after I had a bedroom renovated and my contractors ripped out the existing boot that lead from the duct to the floor register. I’m looking forward to working with Unique on that repair. I even purchased the yearly maintenance contract to keep my system up and running for years to come. Great work! I was extremely happy with the services provided by Mike V and Dave V. They were professional and courteous plus they explained where we were in the process before they started and as they worked. I got detailed information on how the systems works and how to perform simple maintenance to ensure it lasts. I also had no meds to clean up. I would refer them to anyone looking to have ductless air conditioning added.

Jacques came out to my house and was very informative from the beginning about what was wrong. He installed a drain to the overflow plan under the unit in our attic and was efficient. Although a temporary fix still a fix to the current issue. We plan to use them again and possibly sign up for their maintenance program.

A company‘s reputation largely depends on the quality & training of the employees. Jacques, today’s technician, is super professional, an excellent communicator, and thoroughly masters his trade. We will continue to hire Unique Indoor Comfort for all of our HVAC systems in our properties.

Trong and Tan were fantastic. I was in the remodeling business for many years and have never seen an installation which was as well done as the one they did in our house. Their care and attention to detail was very impressive. There was not the slightest trace of mess or dust during and after the installation. Trong and Tan were friendly and respectful. Trong was very knowledgeable and clearly explainedthe work he would complete each day. He showed me how the equipment was installed, how he planned to place the ductwork, how to operate the thermostat and went over the emergency shutoff devices on the air handler.When a hard wired smoke detector was in the way of the return duct, he moved it, handling the wiring himself. Ive never seen a neater job of cutting floors and ceiling for ductwork;No repair work needed. We trusted Trong and Tan so completely, we felt absolutely comfortable leaving them with a key, as we had to go on a three day trip. All in all, a great experience!

We have worked with Unique for several years for normal HVAC maintenance and have had nothing but good experiences. When our very old system finally needed to be replaced we decided to still get another opinion from another highly rated company before making such a big purchase for our home. Our experience with Unique couldn’t have been better or easier (especially after going through the process of a free second opinion from another company). Unique didn’t put us through a painful sales pitch, clearly explained all of our options and simply emailed us a proposal with pricing for each option. After meeting with the other company, we realized the pricing from Unique was Significantly lower (for the same products!) and we experienced none of the uncomfortable pressuring to decide on the spot that we received elsewhere. Mike Pagnottelli performed a thorough assessment of our home while still being mindful of our time, and was patient and helpful with us as we weighed our options. He even worked with us on a Saturday afternoon so we could get scheduled for installation quickly. Sam and his team were extremely friendly and respectful of our home during the whole installation process. We are very happy with the service Unique has provided us and are thrilled with our new system (we ultimately purchased a Daikin furnace, coil and the Daikin DX17VS - 2.5 Ton - up to 17 SEER - Variable Speed condenser).

Unique’s personnel from telephone receptionist to technician were courteous and responsive. Joseph, their technician, prepared unit for summer time operation with cleaning, thorough inspection and maintenance. He was patient and answered questions with particular clarity.

The installers were extremely nice and did their best to deal with unexpected issues that came up. Estimator and crew worked with us to insure our satisfaction even at a higher cost to the company. They are more expensive than some of their competition, but the price is worth the peace of mind. Already recommended to a friend.

Jacques was our technician and he did a fantastic job. I can’t speak highly enough about the quality of his work and his dedication to get the job done right. We had problems with a 12-year old water heater that we needed to replace and Jacques was fantastic through the whole process. Would highly recommend unique and am very happy with the new unit and installation.
