I just bought my first pool and filled it up the other night and the front counter person, I think she was the only one working the store, was awesome. She read my levels and pointed me to the right products I needed to get started. Although there were other people in the store suddenly, she didnt rush through the process. She was very nice and thorough, I highly recommend getting pool supplies here.

I went in to pick up a couple items. I prefer to shop local instead of going online. I dont mind waiting. If someone is there before me, I completely understand. However, after the person in front of me was checked out, the man from the back walked right past me and went to the first man he found and waited on him. The young man that was supposed to help me (acknowledged.and said he would) answered the phone and instead of asking them to hold so he could answer my question he talked to the person on the phone and ignored me. So, I am sitting in the parking lot writing this review and getting ready to order all my pool stuff from intheswim.com

Called to see if they might have a replacement pump for my pool. The representative I spoke with was not friendly or helpful at all. I tried giving a local place my business but I get better service from Amazon.

Great help with getting any pool up and going

On 04/05/21 ordered a vacuum for my pool online and the web site stated 24-48 hours shipped to the store.... With instructions to wait for an email saying the part was ready to be picked up. On 04/10/21, Five days after no email, I went into the store and Chris tells me the shipping takes four to six weeks! When I tell him the web site says 24-48 hours he says..”Hmm” and does not bother to even check to see if the package came in.Seven days after ordering, on 04/12/21 Chris tells me it still has not arrived. A phone call to the corporate office resulted in a nice lady providing me the FedEx tracking number that shows it was signed for by MSnow on 04/07/21!!I called Chris back on 04/12/21 and he says it’s not in the store. After telling him it was delivered and signed for by... he tells me it may have been left on the FedEx truck by mistake!I don’t have a logistics background, but am smart enough to know that if you have people signing for items being delivered and leaving them on the delivery truck your supply chain is broken.So....Another call to corporate resulted in a new person answering the phone who had to go through the entire process again, calling the store to say in fact it had been delivered.....Miracles do happen!!! Chris calls and says the package “just arrived” I will drive the extra 30 minutes away to another Leslies or find a new pool supply store. These guys can kick rocks!The only person that ever seemed friendly in the store was a young lady. All others seem inconvenienced when you walk in the store, like you are bothering them.

They dont answer their phone. I came in looking for a part on a Wednesday and was told they were out and expected a delivery on Thursday or Friday. I tried to call the store on Friday three times during business hours to see if they had received the part, but they didt answer their phone. Bottom line, I went ahead and drove to the store only to find out that they were still out. I also verified that I was calling the right number.

I never leave one star reviews, and will totally change it when the issue is resolved, but I have had nothing but problems. Everything is overpriced, but they are the only ones to get stuff through in an emergency. I ordered some hoses over a month ago, and was told it would be there in a few days, it was very urgent for me. I would have purchased on Amazon but it said 1 to 2 weeks. Well its now been a month, and I called them, and they didnt have my order. They had placed it for sale or something, and they thankfully grabbed the items off the shelf and set them aside. That was right before close yesterday. Today I went in to pick them up, lost. The guy looks everywhere and cant find them, nor are there any left on the wall. He apparently had his phone stolen, which is not his fault at all, and didnt have her number or his bosses. Totally get it. But the fact that the place doesnt have a employee contact sheet or something at the very least is crazy. I probably wont be doing much business here afterwards due to this nonsense.

We went to make a purchase today at leslies pools, we choose our product went to the counter. The clerks told us in a not so polite way that they would not take our money. That they were only taking cards at this point. We asked why we were told they couldnt, then told due to a coin shortage. Well coin shortage or not paper money is still legal tender. Because of this we will no longer be doing business with a company that refuses to accept legal tender.

I have them test my water regularly, and sometimes I get the feeling that they get annoyed because Im asking them to check my sample, which they offer to do for free. Other than that, they always have what Im looking for when it comes to my pool.

I wish the guy working there actually looked like he wants to help people struggling with their pools. Id feel more inclined to trust him when he tries to sell me a product. Instead, I feel like hes just tossing chemical at me to get me to leave him be in his store. I Hate that theres not another pool store I can go to in this area, that We have to deal with this kind of customer service. Im sure they have great product, I just cant trust a person that cant be bothered with doing his job.

I just left this store and the man working couldnt have cared less to assist me. I bought the wrong skimmer plate and asked about a smaller one but he asked what size. Im on my lunch break so dont know the exact measurements. I also asked about algae in the pool and he said a ton of shock and an algaecide... do you think he showed me where those items were so I could purchase them? No, he took a phone call instead of trying to keep my business. Customer service e like this is why people take there money elsewhere.

This place is the beginning to the end. The beginning you go in looking for supplies. Thinking maybe someone in the store will help or be kind enough to steer you in the right direction.The end no one will the are rude, the man that either works or owns it is the most discipible man I ever met. I cannot see myself ever stepping foot back in that store.Hey buddy ever hear of customer service? No you havent had a bad day cause you were like that the last I went in there.GOODBYE!

Could be better stocked.

As far as having a part that I needed, they only had one. My 1 star rating is the fact that they are not helpful. I had to ask the sales person could they call the temple store, which they did. The temple store didn’t have the part either, but that was the extent of the help. I ended up calling a few other stores and the Round Rock store had the part I needed, the sales person at that location was great answering all my question about the type of pump I purchased. Now fast forward, has a friend buy a huge pool and they knew nothing about the sand pump or anything. Well killeen Leslie pool sold them so much stuff they didn’t need. Gave them no advice. I ended up hooking up their pump, saw all the stuff they purchased, and told them to take it back and get their money back. Killeen location seems to only want to make the sale and if you don’t know better they will have you spending more money then needed. My advice is research and You Tube everything before stepping into that store. Also a lot of product they have is way cheaper at Walmart.

No one had any education on pool chemicals. 4 employee’s standing at the counter. Each one looking confused. I own several businesses and I would be very upset to know my customers were treated to this kind of non-professional atmosphere. I will find another place to get my pool supplies from now on.

Horrible experience. Especially the, big/tall, rude man at front. He hates his job and it shows. Its depressing to go in the store. Everybody says something different. Their advice is always wrong. I was told to add Alkaline Up with a perfect alkaline level, but low ph. Another time our ph was really low and same guy actually said, “Don’t worry about it!” We had a sample and he saw it. Excuse me Leslie Pools but a low Ph damages your swim spa system!!! They mix up a swim spa with a swimming POOL, which is at least ten times bigger. I’m just so frustrated. Is there any place else to buy chemicals in Killeen or nearby? Help!

Terrible customer service. The guy who is usually working and I think may be the manager doesnt want to help customers. I was the only customer in there and when I was struggling to find what I needed, he pointed at a shelf that didnt even have what I was looking for. He couldnt be bothered to walk me to the product I needed. I will use American Pools in Killeen instead. I prefer the friendly folks at American anyhow.

The WORST customer service I have ever experienced. Neither sales guy wanted to move from the counter or even want to help me. Treated me like an idiot, and said “did you just expect to come in here and buy a pool filter?” Yes, yes I did. No wonder this store never had any business. Useless.

HORRIBLE Customer service. Assistant manager was too busy to test my water and told me I would be number 2 and he walked in the back room. I waited 35 minutes to get my water tested. Another time, I was sold a bunch of product and given instrucruons, came back 10 days later and had to buy another $200 to get the pool right from a condescending RUDE old lady. This business cannot survive on substandard employees. STAY FAR away from this place.

This place is horrible. Service is the worst. Employees have no clue what they are doing. They ordered part and then ordered the wrong one. Asked them for another part they had no clue what it even was. Amazon is the way to go.

I wouldn,t take their advice at this place........or any leslies. Non of their people are CPO certified and they read off of a screen that recommends the safest. 90% of the time their recommendations are wrong, and you get to call someone like me. This is because the safest method is regular service, and there,s nothing safe about the chemistry levels for a clean up. An actual pool technician may seem expensive at first, but its much cheaper then spending hundreds upon hundreds for leslies to troubleshoot and then have to call one of us.I have had to go in for above ground pool parts, as unfortunately my distributors don,t carry above ground stuff. I heard them telling a customer with a green pool to add 4#s of 50% cal hypo and run the filter over night. WRONG. After asking a few questions, I had to correct him of course, as is my duty. TRAIN YOUR PEOPLE PLEASE!!!! Your wrong advice can cause people money in equipment replacement, and worse case scenario, actual chemical burns.
