Called up Chuck’s because I prefer to support local shops & had seen all the positive reviews they had received. I was not in town at the time of the repair & Andrew @ Chuck’s arranged a tow, was accurate with his assessment of how long the process would take & charged a fair price. Another shop wanted to replace my entire power steering pump & assembly, Chuck’s said the pump was good & it was the hose. I appreciated their honesty and the quality of work & service. Definitely would recommend & will be returning for any car repair needs I have in the Killeen area.

So I get a P144A code and it was the emission value im my car, so I Google searched auto mechanics, and just randomly called this place, I told the guy that answered the phone what my issue was, I told him I would buy the part, and he quoted me a price to put it in, so I get there today roughly around 8:30am and out by 9am, Im like youre done just that quick... and the price i was quoted, is what I paid...oh yes I gots me a new mechanic.... FASTEST MECHANIC in the WEST

Very friendly people. Needed alternator and serpentine belt changed and they did it fast. Brought my own alternator and serpentine belt from AutoZone. Alternator was fine but my pre-purchased belt was too small. It was about 1/4 inches too short so they ordered one which was fast and finished up job. Other than that issue, nothing else. Reasonable prices too, for future work on car. 👍🏾

I was beyond pleased with taking my truck to Chucks! They didn’t only fix the things I needed looked at but they also got parts, changed out my battery with another establishment, and took my truck to the tire shop for additional maintenance I needed which was a huge convenience! The price was more than reasonable and they didn’t nickel and dime me! It’s literally like a one stop shop!! The customer service was outstanding! They kept me informed as parts came in and when the truck left and returned to their establishment! Andrew was friendly, professional and courteous! I honestly won’t use another shop after my experience with them!

This is by far one of the best shops that I have ever used and they have earned my business for life. Chuck and his guys have had my truck for the past 6 months( I am currently deployed) they have done an amazing job fixing my truck after somebody hit it while it was sitting in front of my house. I needed my car looked at because my wife hit something underneath and they told me exactly what was wrong although I didn’t choose to get my car repaired that diagnostic did provide me with details on what was wrong with my car and I thank them for that. Went there with wiring issue for headlights. There was a lot of electrical corrosion. Mechanic was able to hardwire bypassing damaged plugs. Got my car road legal that day. Super reasonable price and great work. Awesome company. Highly recommend!

My 2003 g35 Infiniti wasn’t turning on and for the life of me I couldn’t figure out what was wrong with it. Well I get their number and customer service was nice and professional. I got a tow and got the vehicle checked at a GREAT price. Turns out it was the key anti theft thing was broken and they got it done the time they said it would be done. 10/10 I would go there again for sure. I don’t remember the guy’s name but I appreciate it so much.

Excellent service. I needed tie rods and allignment done for my truck. The shop I was using said the truck was too big for them to handle and they couldnt do anything. I went to Chucks and theyre service was excellent. The pricing was also hundreds cheaper than the other place. They also ran into an issue with the size of my truck but instead of just rejecting the job they towed it to another shop that had a big enough lift to do the allignment at no additional cost.Excellent customer service. Only wish I found them sooner.

Overheating truck, made some adjustments with new water pump, heater coils, distributor cap and rotor, but still would over heat. Took to them and chance thermostat plus flush and Im good. Thanks guys!

My starter for my 2015 Hyundai Elantra was giving me issues, to where it be playing Russian roulette in regards if it may start the car or not and with it getting colder, that definitely wasn’t helping the car issue. I contacted them, and spoke to Andrew today and ask general questions if I were to supply the starter versus them supplying, labor and warranty. Fair price and I even got my car back the same day, he estimated that it be done tomorrow, so granted I’d say I’m very happy about the service and my car runs like new again. I’m thankful for their service, and many blessings to them.

I had my van towed from my home to the shop for a diagnostic and then towed back to my home.When I went into my vehicle I noticed a box that contained my inverter was moved and open from where I had it in my van.I opened the box and my inverter was gone.I searched my van numerous times and the inverter was/is gone.Of course I went to the shop with the empty box,spoke to ANDREW and just asked if anyone who worked on my van could have picked it up accidentally thinking it was some part of their equipment(I Dident want to believe a business would steal from me)Of course Andrew denied anyone at the shop would have taken anything.I and my family are not rich and for a repair shop to steal from us is unconscionable and at the very least unprofessional so if you go to this place make sure that you take absolutely everything out of your vehicle or it could disappear

Our whole experience was top notch. Chuck let us know what was wrong with the car and how much everything would cost. He understood that we are on a tight budget and need to have the repairs done according to urgency. Mike called periodically to keep us updated on the progress and when we picked up the car Matt went over everything with us and showed us where Chuck had printed out estimates on the other repairs needed. Everyone was very pleasant and helpful. Now when I’m asked if I know of an honest place that does good work I can answer that question with confidence! I trust them so much that I had my teenager drop his car off for them to work on yesterday.

The guys here did a fantastic job. They’re all very professional and will take the time out of their work to explain what was going on and exactly why it was happening. My service was not cheap, although it was much less than any other mechanic quoted. They’re extremely quick with the work they do but it’s still perfect work. 5/5 will go to them any time I need something done.

Both wheel bearings went out in my truck, I called them the next morning and they had my truck picked up and fixed by 3:15pm! In that time, they also replaced my brakes and rotors as requested. They used quality parts and did an amazing job. 10/10 recommend.

My truck stopped running all of the sudden with no warning. I tried to fix it myself but after listening to experts I could not get it running. Chucks came and picked up my truck and within a few days they had me back on the road. They didnt do anything without asking me first which I really appreciate. I also did not have to chase them down to get updates on my truck. Best part is they didnt try to charge me an arm and a leg. Will definitely use them again for future repairs.

Going to start by saying Chuck is the greatest!! My Lincoln was in the garage with a dead battery. I know how to change a battery, but never paid attention to the harnesses attached to the postive terminal, so wasnt sure want to take off. Anyway called Chuck, he was quick to answer and quick to help. I just didnt have the confidence to unscrew the bolt, but Chuck said if I had any questions to call and even send a picture if I needed too and he would help. He told me EVERYTHING I needed to do, EVERYTHING!! EVERYTHING!! to change that battery, no hesitation, no delay, he was kind and very patient with me through the whole ordeal. I was able to get the battery checked, I purchased a new one. Chuck even made sure I placed the new one in correctly. All this from texts!! I was able to get all this done and make it to work on time. I was so tickled I was able to call him from my car to thank him. Its a big deal to me because as a women we seem to get taken advantage of when it comes to the mechanics of our vehicles. Im able to do some repairs but still need help when it comes to unfamiliar things. The harness on the battery on a electric start car, that was foreign to me. Just didnt want to mess anything up!! AND I didnt!!Customer service at its highest level!!THANK YOU CHUCK!!

Needed repairs on the both my vehicles. They were able to give me a quote that was accurate on both. They completed the repairs same day on both and were professional and communicated with us about what was happening.

Absolutely loved the professionalism of the team. When I called to get a price quote on my repairs for my Infiniti QX60, Andrew searched through each website trying to find me an affordable part. Once that was developed, I was able to come in and have my alternator fan switched out the same day. I was allowed to wait in the waiting area with a TV, big couches, and a charging outlet. I was offered condiments during my stay and they checked in often on the status. I was also able to have my brakes changed after a last minute request with no problems. I’m planning on making Chucks my one stop shop!!!

Not sure I would recommend, had the timing set replaced on my car and immediately had problems afterword. I took my car to ford and they diagnosed that the issue was timing related but they continued to insist that it was other things that previously were no issue to me. After spending months and hundreds of extra dollars trying to chase down an issue I gave up and just parked my car till I can afford to have ford fix the issue. Overall wont be returning.

I brought my truck in 2+ weeks ago, 1/7/2021 roughly, and stated that I needed a FULL Diagnostic done on my truck, I didnt know the history of the vehicle and the flex plate was cracked, this I knew. The sound it was making was HORRIBLE, I knew the flex plate was part of the problem. Fast forward a week and they called me saying the flex plate was fixed, (which I agreed to) but they found multiple leaks leaking from the main rear seal, the oil pan and didnt discover the problem until they SLID BACK the transmission. (Chuck stated they had to REMOVE the transmission, and I knew this wasnt true, BIG FLAG for me come pickup day of my vehicle.)I agreed to fixing these leaks/issues, they had the lowest quotes in town.Fast forward another 10 days after the seals/flexplate were fixed they call me AGAIN and now say the valve covers are leaking as well, and another seal around the head of the engine ( I dont remember which one.) At this point my $650 repair came to a total of $1280!! When all they said was wrong was it needed a new Flexplate after the diagnostic I paid for!They claimed they inspected my truck.. the inspection fee was on my receipt, (which they said they wouldnt charge me for, but I was being billed anyways on my receipt come pickup day...)Then after I spoke with Chuck the day I come to pick up my vehicle, he admits they charge for an inspection for what they THINK the problem IS, not what other issues that might be CAUSING THE PROBLEM.This is BAD practice, it leaves the customer paying for MORE, and MORE costly repairs without fully diagnosing the problem(s)!My $650 repair bill was creeping up on $1500 worth of repairs without fully diagnosing the problem in the first place!! At this point Im feeling scammed...So I pick up my truck and Chuck knocked off $100 off the bill (for the inspection fee they didnt do, but charged, and another $100 discount for the inconvenience.) Then, I get into my truck and start driving away, and the housing for the Flexplate is still sitting on the passenger side of my truck! They didnt even put the plate back on its 4 bolts!Standing there, for about 2 hours I finally came to an agreement with Chuck (that he after replaying his phone recordings and conversations with his employees/customer, he admitted his employees completely dropped the ball, on the entire service and they were in the wrong.With everything from customer billing, HAVING A CUSTOMER SIGN FOR REPAIRS which is State Law (which they dont do,) to lack of proper diagnostics and inter communication to his employees in his workplace. Id give this shop a better rating but the practices of this business, and lack of conducting full inspections on a customer request, and having really poor customer communication skills, their billing is unprofessional.I give 2 stars today because the work is completed, it could have gone much worse,.. and Chuck gave me a little bit of my money back. Otherwise Id give him 4 stars. IM HONESTLY HOPING they honor their warranty on labor/parts 15k miles or 1 year, and that I dont have the same issues with my truck again after its been repaired at their shop.Im not looking forward to going there again. My receipt doesnt state ANY Warranty on labor/parts and I didnt get a breakdown on the list of parts (including seals replaced, which I requested the same day for a printout and WAITED for 2 hours and still didnt get,) or my mileage.All my receipt shows is repair of parts and fees, NO breakdown of the hourly rate and labor time to complete repairs. If my flexplate breaks again Im taking my truck to another shop and billing Chucks garage for any repairs that are related to work completed by his shop. Well see 15K miles or 1 Year, whichever comes first.Chuck, needs to work on the details/invoices/billing with your business, customer relations, itemizing receipts, and conducting full service inspections, especially when a customer asks specifically for that service, then charged for it.This is an unpaid review from a real customer.

My car began making a horrid whining noise, so I brought it here based on the reviews. Mike got my car in about an hour before closing, and had an estimate ready for me first thing the next morning. My car thankfully had a simple fix, and they had it back to me not even halfway through the day. They were quick and professional, and my car is driving smoothly and quietly again. Chuck was great! He towed my vehicle and got it up and running during New Year’s Eve and New Year’s Day when all others I called said they’d be closed for the holiday. They fixed everything really fast, and kept me in the loop with all the information. My 2012 Subaru was making a weird noise but only when the AC was on. Also she didnt want to start but she would crank. Well in Texas you need AC and to get to work you have to have a running car. I took her to Chuck, told him what the problems were as well as the noises, and he was honest & fair priced. My Subaru now runs like a champ and I dont hear that noise anymore from the engine. she starts right up. Very professional and helpful. I am happy to have given them a chance and will return should sny other complications arise.

He was able to diagnose the problems with my vehicle and provide me with three different options/quotes for the repairs within 24 hours of bringing in my truck. I was impressed with the professionalism and promptness of the shop. Unfortunately in my situation the repairs would amount to the value of the truck so I decided to not fix it at this time.

This is the 5th time that I use their services and as usual I am extremely satisfied. I came in from another shop that told me that I needed my wheel bearings hubs replaced. The other Shop quoted me $900 for the repair. They quoted me $800. But when they looked at the issue they determined that I only needed ball joints replaced. The repair was half the price of what the other shop. They KNOW what they are doing, they take their time and don’t guess. Quality work for a reasonable price. -Max

Excellent experience with this local auto repair shop in Killeen. I have an engineering degree with mechanical knowledge and the guys here aren’t trying to win one over on anyone. I would recommend Chuck’s to anyone looking for honest work done on their vehicle(s). Very knowledgeable staff and fair prices! Had work done on two vehicles which earned my trust and future business.
