Military family that moved into these apartments and regretted it instantly. First, the pictures are deceiving, the apartment had so many just half fixed things in it. They even put clear tape down over the floors that were coming unglued. They painted the tub instead of fixing whatever was wrong with it. I’ve never in my life had allergies or problems if such until moving into these apartments. When I tell you TERRIBLE I mean to the point I needed to see an ENT. Not sure if it’s a mold related issue or just old apartments. Second, the management is very unprofessional and rude. The military has it to where if housing comes a available on base by law under the Service Members Civil Relief act, we could leave and break our lease. Which is what we did. They gave us SUCH A HARD time. I mean, not emailing back, me having to chase them for replies or send more than one message. Times where she would “get back to me” but never bothered to until I would email again. Having to go up to the office. I even wrote the 30 day notice but because she took forever to get back we had to pay two days of rent because she drug her feet. Then got hit with all kinds of fees. This place would have trash stacked up and just thrown on the side of the dumpster for days, it smelled like trash all the time. We had a RAT issue also. Just a terrible experience and I would never recommend this place to anyone just by how they treat the tenets.

Decent place to live, Management is good and the maintenance team were very responsive. We had our air conditioner go bad and they were able to keep it working decent enough until the replacement unit came. The rent is stupidly high though, If I wasnt moving because of my job, I probably wouldve left due to the rent prices. $2450/month for a 2 bed 2 bath is way too much.when I moved in 3 years ago it was around $1875

I would give it a 0 if I could. We moved out about 2 months ago and were promised to receive our security deposit. They said they were gonna send it out but I have not heard back from them for months now. I have emailed about 100x about this but they seem to not care at all.

SOMEONE NEEDS TO TAKE CARE OF THE MISSING BOXES AND MAILS. NO MORE POINTING AT EACH OTHER WITH USPS!!! Sick of it, missing 2 box ($1000) and 1 letter and it said delivered! Who is going to pay for my damage? Paperwork can not be replaced.!!!! This has gone since West Isle do not want to work with packages... JUST WOW!!!

Recently moved in and Dayanis has been super great to us. Helping us with any issue that may arise. This is my first experience living in an apartment complex, have always owned, and the management is being extremely helpful and gracious putting up with my questions and requests. So far, I am pleasantly surprised. :)

West Isle emphasizes a safe, friendly, family oriented place to reside... and it is true. We take offense to some of what has been written recently by those not happy here. We too have had our issues. 1. Dog feces- left by resident pet owners extremely irresponsible,who dont care about fellow residents having to deal with stepping in the stuff, making a mess of shoes and property, or even health issues! Bags are provided...use them! If your dog has soft poo, cover it with dirt, weve bought some from Home Depot, $3.49 a bag! 2. The feeding of chickens and roosters- food left in and around the perimeter of our building, causing an infestation of ants and roaches, not to mention the continuous crowing right outside our bedroom window- and the roosters flying onto our patio leaving a mess and attracting cats who sit on our patio all day waiting for them! 3.Unsupervised children yelling, playing hide and go seek on our stairwell littering the lawn with candy wrappers and juice bottles, riding on their bikes in the parking lot, sitting on cars and causing considerable damage to vehicles( this has been proven with eye witnesses and matching bicycles with paint residue left in car dents and scratches). West Isle is a great place to live. If you have valid concerns, take them straight to the office. The concerns we have listed are valid...but are they really problems that our staff should have to deal with? No. Residents should be considerate and respectful of one another its that simple! Pick up after your pets, dont feed the roosters, watch your kids! And on a personal note, if you see drug dealings in the parking lot call the cops! And if you need immediate help from maintenance, tell them! We have never had a problem with Toni, who is always working hard with his crew, never stopping, or slacking, sweating every minute from one job to the next, always professional and considerate... even taking their shoes off at the door so they dont track in mud on rainy days! I understand that not everyone will be happy here, and if you are not...by all means... leave! I know six or seven couples who want to move in right now! And to our staff... thank you. We have seen much improvement after expressing our concerns to you directly. We cant wait for the next resident gathering at the pool or office and keep the faith! There are so many of us who love living here and have you to thank for it!

I don’t like writing reviews but this company suck i just couldn’t stand how they handle the situation, i took over a lease from one of the tenant and i didn’t know they have problems on the toilet but soon as i found out something was leaking we called the maintenance twice nobody came then the water bill that we pay after two months was 280 and we pay for it and we told The management what happened etc, then they gave us paper they said go to the water station they can fix it then the water station told us to go back to the office (west isle) because they have nothing toDo with it were going back and forth then finally the lady from. West isle apt, told me after months that they’re not gonna pay for it because its not their fault and its the old’s tenant fault but we have to pay for it because they are notLiving there anymore i was ok i let it go, But worst is OUR AC IS BROKEN FOR MORE THAN 1week i called maintenance right away they couldnt fix it because they need toOrder the compressor so they put portable ac just on the living room .They expect us to sleep all in the living room for a week and a half?! If they need they order the parts online its fine but they need to do express shipping its so hot in key west and its very unacceptable to be paying 2400 per month camping in the living room with 1 portable ac for a two bedroom apartment. i dont like complaining but this is just not acceptable! Do you guys expect us to be a happy tenant!

I wouldve give them a smaller rate if I could. l lived there for 2 years, had no other choice at the beginning was forced to move there. Small and tiny apartments with crazy high rent and ok amenities. Lots of noise, dirty pool, very uncomfortable parking, and the most important thing is the very annoying, rude and unhappy management. That lady acts like she is the God and the landlord of entire Key West. Had tons of issues while living there. I wouldnt recommend this place to anyone, Try to void West Isle, I know its not easy to fiind a place to stay in Key west but keep looking and leave this spot for last because you will wake-up with a lot of not so good surprises. The worst worst place Ive ever lived. Cramped apartments way overpriced and my rent went up every year like clockwork. After leaving in good standing I came to find that my credit report showed I owed them $3,400. When I called them about this they told me I left without notice. In other words they lost my military transfer orders that I gave them and were on willing to help me and said that I needed to work it out with the credit company. I explained to them that theyre the ones who lost the letter and should call the credit company but they were uninterested. Now I am receiving harassing phone calls from them.

Damages every month on my car and scooter!i had a drog dealer neighbour!not safe for a family.people left the trashbags next to the trash container all the time.and really really loud neighbourhood!for 2000$/1 bedroom...

Horrible apartments, dirty pool, high rent, no amenities, and bad customer service.
