Called 3 other “24 hour” ac services and no body could come until the following morning. Called SubZero at 10:30 pm and owner Doug answered, he went to his shop to grab his truck and come all within 20 minutes. Not only was his price to repair our air conditioner more than fair, but his response time was super quick and he is definitely knowledgeable about this profession. I wouldn’t recommend anybody else besides Sub Zero, for he was the only company to actually stand by their 24 hour advertisement and saved us from a miserable night. Very satisfied and is the only person in the area I would recommend.

Showed up on time and were extrememly professional. Thought it would be a quick fix for them but ended up being more complicated. They stayed as long as it took. They recommend as opposed to insisting things that need to be done, or worse yet do and unexpected amount of things with a hefty bill. AC contractors out here are not cheap but you will get your moneys worth.

Life savers! I called them on Friday July 3rd for help because my air conditioner wasn’t cooling and it was 86 degrees inside my house. Mind you that most people were observing Friday July 3rd as a holiday as July 4th lands on a Saturday this year. They came out and diagnosed the problem right away. They drove up to the mainland to find the new condensing unit and installed it that same night! I had a house full of family that would have had to go back home if not for Sun Zero. Truly great service, communication and value. I will continue to recommend them to all my family and friends.

Super professional and efficient. Tech Bryan came out and determined that a large return duct had come loose under the house and was able to reattach it very quickly, saving us $$$ in wasted cold air and electricity.Doug is very pleasant to talk to and work with. Excellent company! I called them on a Sunday night at 8:30 p.m. because my air quit cooling and I had renters in the unit. I told Doug I thought it was the thermostat that was faulty. Doug came in 30 minutes like he said. He replaced the thermostat and within 5 minutes had the air running again. Since they were the ones that put in my thermostat a while back, he replaced the faulty one at no charge. I was very impressed with their service!

We were having a problem with an older A/C not cooling and called AAA Sub-Zero.They told us they would be out that afternoon due to the heat b /c they didnt want to see us without A/C. As promised they arrived at 4:00pm. The determined the issue and price to resolve. We decided to go ahead and get a price to replace the unit due to the age and better efficiency.Within an hour, we had a reasonable quote in our inbox. We were concerned about the timeline it would take to install it. They said they would make it a priority due to the heat and would install the unit the next day. We were extremely pleased with the care and compassionate the owner and service technician gave us. They were back early the next day and installed the A/C, the price was exactly what they quoted. The technician was extremely knowledgable and the owner came by to ensure we were happy with the progress and ensure everything was going well.They were exceptional! 3 separate interactions, 3 separate reviews, all 5 stars!The first time I called AAA was when a freezer at work crashed. We had thousands of dollars of fish for our dolphins in jeopardy of going bad. The tech responded right away and had the problem fixed soon after. Fantastic service and response time.Because my experience at work was so good, I called AAA a few days after Hurricane Irma. Not only did they respond, but they responded quickly during late night service even though the majority of the upper keys needed their help with their air conditioning as well. It was hot and sticky, and the tech worked tirelessly on my unit as my baby and pregnant wife were in the house with their fingers crossed. The tech had to replace some parts and add some refrigerant, and had everything he needed in the service vehicle. Again, fantastic service and in a timely manner. We were with cool air shortly after arrival.My personal unit crashed again a couple weeks ago. There was no question who I was calling. Once again, timely service and they had the parts I needed in stock. I have nothing but good things to say about this company... highly highly recommend.

I had some A.C. issues that I needed addressed right away and I thought it would be a good idea to call Sub Zero because they are 24/7 so I wanted to try them out in case Ill need them in the middle of the night for an emergency (hopefully not). I can not thank Douglas enough. My AC was not cooling at 10pm and I have visitors from out of town including my 80 years old dad. The house was an oven inside. I was very irritated with the situation because it was late and a Saturday. Based on excellent reviews, a cool looking logo, and a co-workers recommendation, I chose Sub Zero to perform my summer maintenance and I am very glad that I did. Highly recommend sub-zero my AC stop working on January 1, 2020 early morning I had to act fast since I had family coming over and the house was hot. Went online and read great reviews on this company so I gave them a call spoke to Doug the service tech explain the problem I was having He said no problem he’ll be there in a short period. My a/c unit had an error code on the thermostat and the unit shut off. I looked it up in the manual and online & had a good understanding of the issue. My home warranty allowed me to choose a licensed HVAC company. I chose AAA Sub-Zero because of the excellent reviews. It’s true that the owner Doug answers the phone. He promptly had my a/c unit scheduled the same morning. The diagnosis took minutes and the repair took a few minutes more. Brian was the HVAC technician & he was excellent. Super nice guy. Doug was in contact with Brian during diagnosis and repair. Photos were taken of bad part and provided to me. I did ask questions and saw the pressure gauge read outs, the bad switch and replacement part. All in all, I would recommend AAA Sub-Zero. Excellent customer service.

Doug Rumpf and his technicians are great! I had an emergency on my commercial shrimp boat. My blast freezer was down with 5000 lbs of shrimp in the hold.
