Took my father-in-law here a couple of weeks ago amazing staff and caring

This is a very friendly and competent group from start to finish and they followed up the next day to check on me.

I really love this crew! They were awesome!Dr Lussier was very involved through the whole process. This is a great team!

I had a small emergency for dental care but I did not know a local dentist/surgeons fore I recently retired and moved to this area. I called Kerrville Oral & Maxillofacial Surgery. From that moment I was treated as a long time patient. I got a quick appointment and Dr Lussier took care of my dental issue on my first visit. Dr Lussier is very caring and took the time to listen to my dental/medical history. His entire staff are top notch professionals and went above and beyond to make my visit go very smoothly. Dr Lussier completed the work and I was out of there pain free within an hour. Within two hours of getting home I received a phone call from the staff checking on my welfare. I could not have had a better experience for my tori removal surgery. Before the surgery, Dr Luccier, very calmly, talked me through how this would go. I’ve waited years to have this done because of the pain I was expecting. I received the pain meds before surgery so I’d be ready and only had to take them for two days. He was always available for questions pre and post surgery. So besides the surgeon being great, he also has great staff. Stephanie helped me with insurance and was so nice every time I spoke with her. Katie kept me calm during my time in the office and cares for our well being during the process. Just can’t say enough good things about this group. Other offices should use this group as a model of great care.

I received outstanding service at this practice. Every staff member was extremely kind and compassionate. It was such a pleasure to be a patient . The environment was so calm and relaxed the day of my surgery. This is a phenomenal staff, and I highly recommend them. I had an exceptional experience.

I was referred to Dr. Lussiers practice because my tooth wasnt stable enough for a typical extraction. I was surprised at the promptness of the scheduling for my procedure and was very satisfied with the staffs attitude and genuine concern for me and my aching tooth. Everything was explained to me before anyone did anything, and the procedure went as expected. After the surgery, my progress followed the handouts I was given with no complications. The post surgery pain was managed by the prescription I was given before I went to the office and everything turned out as expected. If you are nervous about oral surgery, this is where you want to go!

This was not an experience I wanted to have! I lost a bridge and the front tooth had to be removed. Went smoothly. Then the back anchor broke off at the root and had to come out. Both surgeries went smoothly. Dr. Lussier put me at ease immediately, explained each procedure thoroughly, was gently in his examination and I knew I was in good hands. His staff is amazing, same caring attitude, same professionalism. Hope I dont need any more extractions but if I do, I will be confident and comfortable to come here.

I just went to Dr. Jim Lussier in March2019. The entire staff was nothing but kind and professional at all times. Dr. Lussier was very informative during the initial consult, and provided me with all available options. He was very helpful with answering any questions, and understanding of my concerns. Dr Lussier sedated my 95 year old father for a procedure and I couldnt say enough great things about his care and his staff. They took great care of him and made him comfortable and at ease. Once we got home, he recovered very quickly, not even having any swelling. His discomfort only lasted 24 hours which surprised us! He made my dad feel like he was such a special patient. Thanks to him and his entire staff for their expertise and gentle natures.

My husband has had surgery with Dr. Lussier twice. Office staff is super nice and efficient. Doctor explains everything to both the patient and the family member. The office is spotless. The security of receiving the doctors personal cell phone number to report any problems is amazing. Our experience has been very professional and yet personal.

I write this review from the perspective of both a dental patient and as a retired periodontal and implant surgeon.I was referred to  Kerrville Oral and Maxillofacial Surgery because one of my molars was fractured and needed to be extracted, eventually to be replaced by a dental implant. Dr Lussier and his staff put me at ease immediately, treating me with professionalism from the moment I arrived until well after the visit was over.Serena greeted me at the front desk and welcomed me to the office, creating a great first impression. You just know you are in great hands at that moment. The office was very clean, organized and just exuded the quality youd expect. Dr Lussier discussed the surgical procedure, and answered my questions. Dr Lussier sedated me, then he and his assistant Melinda surgically removed the fractured molar and placed a bone graft to restore the bone in the extraction site. Dr Lussier and his assistant Vicky checked on me within hours after surgery, and the next morning to ensure I was doing well. I had absolutely no pain or swelling at the extraction site. After healing, Dr Lussier will place a dental implant in the area where the tooth was removed, thus restoring my ability to chew on that side. The Kerrville Oral and Maxillofacial Surgery team delivered exceptional dental surgery with empathy and compassion, and made it look easy. Very happy with experience, procedure and results.My dentist recommended dr. Lussier.They got me an appointment quickly.the staff were professional, knowledgeable and kind.The office spotless and hi tech. Not having been to what I call an oral surgeon in 40 years, its amazing how things have changed!Doc was great. Explained procedure, did it that day! Amazing! It was a minor procedure.Sent to lab. Full disclosure, Dr. Lussier is a personal friend and colleague. There are dozens of colleagues that I could have gone to for this procedure. I chose him to be my surgeon because he is not only a highly skilled surgeon but also a man of immeasurable integrity and high moral values. As a practicing dentist for 35 years I have worked with many skilled specialists. Dr. Lussier ranks among the very best that I have ever known and worked with. He could not have been more accommodating with my schedule and I know he treats everyone like that. His office staff was exceptional. I had an unexpected tooth extraction today after two weeks of pain, it got to the point where pain was unbearable my fault for letting it linger. Dr Lussier took me in without appointment, troubleshooted the problem and removed the tooth pain free. Many thanks and I highly recommend, his entire staff is wonderful

I had to have all four wisdom teeth pulled and Dr. Lussier and his associates took care of me and settled my fears of the procedure. Jim took the time to answer all of my questions and describe to me in detail what to expect, and his aftercare is phenomenal! His staff is friendly and knowledgeable, and my wait times were always less than 10 minutes. You can tell they are one big family, and it makes me feel very comfortable and happy!

Just had three of my impacted wisdom teeth removed. I was pretty scared, but Dr. Lussier and his staff Angelica, and Serena were great. They were all extremely nice, and genuine. Wouldn’t recommend anyone else over these people. Thank you so much for taking care of me quickly, and with ease.

I was in a lot of pain with a cracked tooth. The staff and Dr. Lussier were calming, caring and reassuring. The whole process from beginning to end--tooth extraction and dental implant was painless. I did not need prescription pain medication. Just took the over the counter recommendation. I would highly recommend this office and staff.

On 15 October 2018 I went in for a possible cracked tooth consult. He made the process much better by answering all my questions and about the entire process. The next day I returned for a tooth extraction. I was in so much pain at the time I didnt even feel the little stick that Dr. Lussier administered and the process was all over when I awoke. The process took less than an hour. It is the next day now and I have no pain or swelling. Dr Lussier and his entire staff were extremely helpful throughout the entire process. I would highly recommend Dr. Lussier for Oral Surgery if required.

For the patient, this team is a dream team. Professional, kind, and highly skilled. Never in my seventy years has any doctor or dentist treated me as well as this team did. They were a Godsend to us. My husband had two teeth broken at the gum line and was in incredible pain. They had no hesitation in taking him, even though we called about three p.m. An hour and a half later he was being operated on. If some of you are like me, I dont like visiting a dentist. But sometimes you dont have a choice. Recently, my tooth fractured and ultimately broke into 2 pieces. The dentist exam revealed trying to save & repair the damaged tooth would be problematic & very expensive. So my dentist referred me to a local Oral Surgeon.I had an almost perfect experience with Oral & Maxillofacial Surgeon, Dr. James Lussier and his staff. Following the tooth extraction by Dr. Lussier I had absolutely no pain.....none. Plus, there was virtually no residual swelling or bleeding. Now, I cannot promise every future patient will experience the exact same results as me, but I believe Dr. Lussier will attempt to duplicate similar results every time with every patient. Plus its just good knowing youre under the care of a former Army Airborne Special Forces soldier with his added experience as an Army officer Oral Surgeon.

Ive personally sent this oral surgeon patients for years now, he does a fabulous job every time. His bedside manner with patients puts them at ease instantly. He has the knowledge and skill set to take care of patients at the highest possible level of care and Ive seen him do it time and time again. Dr Lussier has had an incredible military career and he carries those ethics and values with him daily in the care of his patients. I wouldnt refer my friends or family to anyone else.

This is a follow-up to a January 2017 review.In June 2017, Dr Lussier placed a dental implant in the area where he extracted a fractured molar five months ago. I was sedated and the implant was surgically placed in his office. The implant surgery was totally painless and I needed only an occasional Advil and or Tylenol for postoperative discomfort. A few months from now, the implant will be fitted with a crown thus restoring my ability to chew on that side of my mouth. On two occasions, Dr Lussier and the Kerrville Oral and Maxillofacial Surgery team delivered exceptional dental surgery with empathy and compassion, and made it look easy. I found Dr. Lussier and his staff to be friendly and efficient. During the preliminary consultation, the doctor explained the different types of anesthesia available, the possible side effects and the benefits of each, the time needed to do the surgery and the cost involved. When I had the procedure done, Dr. Lussier would stop periodically to explain what would be happening next, so there would be no surprises for me.I was pleased with his work and would recommend him.

When you need to see an oral surgeon there is nervousness as to what needs to be done. In my case, I needed a biopsy, and there is the additional apprehension as to the outcome. Dr. Lussier and his staff were wonderful. They each put you at ease, try to make you as comfortable as possible with what needs to be done, and provide great support and true concern during the procedure. I am grateful to Dr. Lussier and his staff.

They were great. They got me quickly for a consultation, and pulled my tooth immediately after. No wait. No hassle. Everybody was courteous and very polite. Would definitely go back and highly recommend to others.

When it came to going to the dentist and/or oral surgeron, like most people, out of fear of more pain I would not make the appointment. When the pain became unbearable I was forced to make the dreaded appointment. I was referred to Dr. Lussier and his amazing staff. Sure enough, the tooth needed to be extracted due to I had neglected to maintain regular dentist appointments out of fear of dentists. The tooth was severely impacted and 2 dentists would not attempt the procedure. Dr. Lussier and staff provided a comfortable, professional, and friendly atmosphere. I was comfortable walking into the office, comfortably put to sleep, and graciously walked out to the car (passenger side of course.) That was my first experience. So, when it came around to the other tooth I had neglected, without hesitation I made the appointment with Dr. Lussier. The staff is the best! They answered all my questions and called later to check on me. I absolutely love the staff. I am pretty sure Dr. Lussier is the best! Two dentists referred me to Dr. Lussier -two! That speaks volumes. I am always peacefully asleep and in zero pain in his company and that is how I need to be for extractions #21 and #19 (from what the great doctor informed me.) Thank you to Staff and Dr. Lussier!! Yall are the BEST! Thank you also to the two dentists who referred me to his office.

I went in to see Dr. Lussier for 2 implants. Serena and the team were friendly and very polite. Dr. Lussier did my implants with no problems; everything went very well. Dr. Lussier is a great surgeon; very polite and friendly. I recommend him for implants!!!

Wonderful and caring staff. Managed the needs of and care for my mothers multiple extractions with grace and high quality service.

I was told by an endodontist in florida that he was unable to save my back 2 molars and they needed to be extracted. Upon returning to Kerrville I set up an appt with Dr. Lussier who reveiwed the scan an xrays then informed me i needed a second opinion from my dentist Dr. Jen Bone an he called her . Both teeth were saved and crowns were placed this week. Thank you

I had to get my wisdom teeth extracted and they were amazing. Incredible bedside manner, prepared me, helped me file insurance... definitely recommend them for oral surgery. No issues at all!!

Dr. Lussier removed 9 of my teeth and bone protrusions so I could get new dentures. Minimal pain and swelling. At two week checkup my mouth was almost completely healed -- two weeks ahead of schedule. Staff was great and very helpful. Made what could have been a painful experience very tolerable.

Surgery went very well and we were very pleased with the entire staff. They explained every step of the process clearly and with great compassion. Would highly recommend them to anyone needing dental surgery.

I will give the highest rating possible to Dr. Lussier and his staff.Within minutes after being in the office, I was put at ease with thethought of having oral surgery. Shortly after filling out the small amount of paperwork, the Dr. explained the procedure and answered a couple of questions I had. The surgery was the next day.
