I had to stop in due to breathing trouble on a holiday as they were one of the few open. Of course being a holiday they were busy. They got me in rather quickly and the Dr was attentive and very kind. This location was very organized, professional, and courteous.I have to give Dee and Cindy at the desk a shout out. The phones were ringing off the hook, person after person continued to walk through the door. People kept coming in with the same questions. A woman who was loud and entitled took all of her frustration out on them, and they continued to just keep on trucking along like it was just another day at the office.I hope I dont need to utilize the services of a walk in clinic again, but if I do I would definitely come back to this location.
Really friendly and great care usually. Don’t know what’s up with the Covid testing line today. Already waiting 1.5+ hours after my appt time in the drive thru with zero communication. That’s a ton of wasted time. know y’all working hard though and thanks for what you do.
I was first person in the parking lot and watched several employees go in by using a card to get in! I got out of my car around 5 minutes till and stood near the door several other people came up too! We could see the employees at the front desk and it was after they opened but no one came to the door or even motioned us to come in! Finally another lady said you think the door is unlocked and tried it and it was! The girls at the desk could have motioned us in but would not even look at us! Once I got in I was told I had to have an appointment! They could try to work me in but it would probably be hours and I had to stay there! I will never go there again!
Dont even bother coming to these idiots. they cant be bothers to assist someone is serious pain. Before i even explained what the issue was she tossed a piece of paper at me and turned me away. She said to go see and orthopedic. Clearly they dont care about the patient.
I had a great experience- everyone was very professional and I was cared for promptly with great explanation and discharge information
I had an appointment scheduled for 1pm today for a covid test. I arrived at 12:30 and after speaking with an employee he told me he was checking me in and to wait in my car and they would contact me. At 1:30 I went in to the facility to ask what was taking so long and she said she was going to check me in that she didnt see me on the appointment schedule and to go back to my car. At 2 pm I called them back and she said that there were 2 more people ahead of me in line. By this point Im furious. I told her to just to take me off the list. I am a Novant Health Employee and I have never been so upset. I will never visit this facility or ever recommend it after this horrible experience.
Ive been here twice and had a good experience both times. But felt like I needed to post a review because the office lady today went above and beyond to help us figure out some issues with our sons novant account. After 2 hours with various customer service reps and nobody could fix it, the urgent care office was able to fix it and help us access our test results. We only had great customer service here, friendly staff and overall good experience.
While in town for work, I needed to see a physician immediately. From the time of arrival the staff worked quickly and efficiently. The physician and staff members we very professional. I would definitely go again if the need were to arise.
As a visitor to your area (I am from indiana) the staff at Novant was kind and well equipped to care for my broken wrist. I am thankful I went to your facility in Kernersville and received such great care.
I came to Novant and was registered within a few minutes I was told that I was number 27 in line and that it would possibly take two hours to be seen, but not to leave the premises in case it would take a shorter time. Within 15 minutes my number was called I was tested I got my results the next morning. This place was excellent they were fast they were efficient and I was very grateful for them, because the other places in kernersville had me Making all kinds of ridiculous appointments I’m going all over the world for no results.
I got bitten by a tick in a very private area! Was pretty apprehensive about going to the doctor, especially because of where I was bitten! But the staff was very professional and made me feel at ease! And thanks to them and their efforts and people skills! Im gonna to live to get bitten again! I was very impressed with their candor and Im doing much better! Would highly recommend this facility to anyone!
I was told I was on a waitlist for my rapid covid test and it was 6 hours. I went to run some errands while I waited. 2 hours later i get a call and they said they will take me now and didnt even give me 5 minutes to get there before they moved to the next person. A heads up call would be nice, your patients shouldnt have to sit in the parking lot for 6 hours.once I got that settled, everything else went smoothly. However it was a hassle that could’ve been avoided
I can’t say enough amazing things about my experience here today. My two young children and I are visiting family in the triad from overseas. In order to travel home in two days we needed to get a rapid PCR covid test back today. We showed up at 8am when the doors opened and this place was BUSY with a line around the building. Despite how many people were there, the front desk was helpful and kind. They squeezed us in without an appointment and were even apologetic about how long we might have to wait. I felt their covid protocols were exceptional. Dr. Jennings was thorough and professional from the information he provided us to the way he administered the tests. He even went above and beyond to provide us copies of a document that he believed we may need for our travels. Overall this facility made a very stressful situation painless for my family. At a scary time for so many people, it’s healthcare facilities like these that save lives and lift spirits!
Very welcoming environment! Not having insurance, definitely still an affordable visit. I saw Joy Justice and she was great. This will be my go to for any future visits I may need.
My overall experience at this Urgent care was nothing less than awesome. I got a foot issue and they took care of me very well. All the staff are very friendly and professional. It made me feel at ease right off the bat. I got a truly remarkable care. Would highly recommend this place to everyone.
From the time I walked in the door to the time I went into the room to wait for the provider it was a very welcoming feeling. Everyone was very professional every step of my visit.
DO NOT GO HERE for anything having to do with COVID. They do not follow CDC guidelines --- wanted rapid test for COVID exposure per CDC guidelines published on July 27, 2021. They quoted me the WRONG guidelines, said I had to wait 5 days, and refused to test!!! They let my 16 year old daughter WALK OUT with a possible exposure!!!
Was seen today and I must say this; this entire staff from the front reception to the nurse and PA were absolutely awesome. They were on point, presented very profesdional. They were patient oriented, kept me informed of my wait time; listened to my concern and gave me great information about my diagnosis and treatment. This team exemplifies Making Healthcare Remarkable. Go Team Kernersville ....thank you so much!
Wonderful 5 star service to all the staff and to the doctor. Thank you for all your help and God bless each of you.
If I could give this companies billing department a 0 I would!!! They charged a copay, have been paid for the full amount by insurance and refuse to refund it so now my flexible spending account has been frozen. I have contacted them for over a month, asked for supervisors which are never available and I’ve been told numerous times they have 48 hours to call me back. The last lady even admitted she did not see any previous request, which means they are not following through. Nothing !!! Stay clear of Go Health! You will get no response when they owe you but beat they will be hounding you for money you owe them!
We needed to get COVID testing for travel. The process was very smooth from check in to pull around, testing and results. Cat, the provider, was awesome! Her positivity in an obviously stressful job was a blessing. She explained everything and did all four family members tests with precision and professionalism. She made our experience great! Highly recommend. We will be back for other services.
When I walked in the ladies at the front desk only asked if I had an appointment and then sat there and talked to each other about nothing while I stood there on crutches waiting to be checked in. Needless to say that I was standing there in pain and they didn’t seem to acknowledge care. So I walked out because there are plenty of urgent cares around here!!
Professional staff, got me in and out faster than expected!
When we arrived the very nice receptionist on duty today, 1/31 explained they were all booked up and probably could not take us for several hours. She got a doctor to take a quick look at my brother who said he needed an ER. She then directed us to Kernersville Hospital and told us how to get thereIt was so helpful and he got the care he needed. She was truly kind and professional.
Miserable experience I went in made a 1pm appointment told them what I wanted. Was there for my appointment only to tell me to wait in the car. They messaged me at 2:30 to tell me if I wanted a Covid test or if I wanted to be seen? I had long gone by then.
Put a tropical smoothie up instead or get a better hiring staff.
1:50 pm appointment. Very unpleasant and unprofessional ladys at front desk. No compassion. Very snappy, rude, and unfriendly. 2:21 PM took a friend for a visit who could hardly walk due to sports injury. They could careless if he feel trying to get into door. And stop replying to email a manager. Obviously theres a problem there. Investigate it and fix the problem. Read your reviews instead of auto replying.
Had an appointment. I was told to wait in the car and text when I arrived. 25 minutes later, I have heard anything back. I went in and was told they had no idea how much longer it was going to be. So I left. Ridiculous.
It says no appointment needed then I get here and its a 4 hours wait. It shouldnt take more then a couple minutes to give a test
Alison Ervin PA-C did my oral swab and she is a rare gem. I mean I would love to just work beside her just to get a dose of her positivity on a daily basis!! She was so sweet and efficient and kept me up to date with what was going on, what she was going to do and what she recommended!! Definitely an asset to that clinic!!!
1st visit months back I had a great experience. Today, however was completely a different experience. Its the individuals not Novant. Bad attitudes, long wait times, and when asking for the name of the RUDE nurse they refused to provide. In addition we wereblamed for miscommunication based on the email they sent. Do not go here and definitely dont take your kids. Excuses is what it boils down to.
10! Absolutely! I came on Thursday last week and we had just had that bad ice storm. You all were waiting for me and everyone was so nice and helpful. I was only getting a PCR COVID test for travel but everyone treated me with such kindness and concern. I brought my husband back the next day and he experienced the same treatment. Thank you all so much for being there - especially in bad weather.
Very disappointed with care my husband received. We left with the exact same questions as we started with.
They treat you like family here. Really lovely staff. I would drive 40 minutes to see them again haha!
My family has had 3 appointments here. The first time the experience was great. My son with special needs was tested for covid and they were very nice and patient with him. However, the other 2 appointments, for myself, were both canceled the day of the appointment, based off criteria that is not stated when making an appointment online. Its very frustrating when you plan a day around an appointment and then find out a few hours before that theyare canceling the appointment. If a patient did that, there would surely be a fee associated.
Amazing place. This was my first time here. Amazing and caring staff. I was a walk-in, right when it opened with a brutal splinter that broke off deep under the skin. The staff was amazing, the doctor was amazing - didn’t rush knowing there were other people waiting - and focused on getting it out. Was friendly and facility was very nice. Would def. recommend.
Patient care was really good except for the lady who rather than ask was I called into the office just assumed I was in the wrong place and told me to step back outside and I told her I received a text to come in and she wanted to know who texted me and told me to come in. Then the lady at the front desk came to my rescue. The rest of the experience was good.Do it with excellence!
Everyone was great and took care of me in a professional fashion. Very quick in and out. Thanks
If you can avoid going to this location, i would do so at all costs. The staff is extremely rude, unprofessional, and unwilling to go out of their way to help you.
Took my husband there after he burned himself and the nurse and doctor that served him the first time was wonderful. They told him to come back on Sunday as a follow-up. Because that doctor was not there, they charge him another 100.00. The lady handling registration was really nasty about it. For this reason we will not use novant health facilities again. We have decided to switch from novant to Baptist health. Thank you for the doctor and the nurse. That served my husband. We didnt have an issue with the 100.00 it was the way it was delivered. Ignorance and disrespect in the health field should not be tolerated. From one medical perfessional to another.
I read other reviews stating that this location coded their visits so patients would be forced to pay for an office visit, but given the short supply of COVID tests available, I went here regardless. I was hopeful that *maybe* I wouldnt encounter such issue, but I was wrong. My bill came back and I found that this center billed for the office visit, $162. There was no prior warning that there would be this kind of charge. While the care here was fine, the billing practices are not. CARES Act Section 3201 amended FFCRA Section 6001 to state that diagnostic items and services must be covered by plans and issuers without any cost-sharing requirements. This cant be utilized unless the provider codes their bills correctly, which is my main point of grievance.Additionally, it is next to impossible to speak to someone about billing issues—Ive been on hold for two hours waiting to even reach an agent. For reference, I went to another Novant GoHealth Urgent Care location in Winston and the visit was coded correctly, so that I didnt have to pay anything for something that should be covered. Its possible to code visits correctly, but the Kernersville location simply chooses not to.Avoid this location for COVID testing unless it is your last resort and dont mind the headache.UPDATE 1/21/21: Although Novant Health is quick to respond to one-star Google Reviews offering an email address as a solution, they dont monitor the account as my emails have been unanswered. It is near impossible to reach a billing representative.
I made an appt and showed up a day early ☺️. They were very accommodating and fit me in right then. Everyone was very friendly and super fast.
Excellent place to go if you have a primary that does not have an x ray machine and dont want to do the ER. They are extremely knowledgeable, kind, courteous, and respectful. The doc knew exactly what my foot issue was and gave me a cream and told me about metatarsal pads that hooked me up today. They work splendidly. Thank you so much for taking excellent care of me.
Saw them in June for a covid test. They flat out lied and said there was no charge. They never mention there was a $160 office visit charge. I never went into the office, they saw me for 3 minutes in a tent outside. NEVER asked me a question about how I was feeling, symptoms, never took my temperature...nothing....just stuck the swab up my nose and said good day even though I had symptoms. Then they never called with results. I had to call them 3 times to get through. Horrible experience. Im new to the area and will avoid them like the plague
The staff has always been really amazing here. I have always been treated with kindness and respect. My last visit was my first time at their new location. It’s a very nice upgrade from the old building. A previous review stated that you could see into the rooms but that is not true. You can check in online and then show up at your scheduled time.
Made an appointment for covid test and when I arrived I texted “HERE” as instructions said. Got a text back saying thank you for checking in and someone will be out to help me soon. Waited for 40 minutes and no one ever came to help me so I left. Waste of my time.
Just dont bother. They dont have time to see you anyway. I was told I had to wait three days to be seen and made me leave, yet nobody was there. I had to drive 30 minutes to another location who could see me and yep, I had COVID.
Had a drive thru strep test done here, and when I tried to pay they refused my credit card and said no charge and then proceeded to bill me for 160 dollars. I will never recommend this urgent care. Very poor customer service Novant.
Thank you for testing me so quickly. Your nursing staff was very kind ..empathetic as well.
I brought my son to this location and checked in about 1:30. At that point they told me it would be a 4 hr 15 min wait. They told us we could leave and come back before our time, which is what we did. We ended up being the last one seen after arriving 20 min before the assigned time. It was after 6:15 before we were even called back. We closed the place. Surely there were other walk-ins after 1:30. I will not be back, nor will I recommend to others. With 4 kids, I have been to many Urgent care facilities, and this one is by far the most inefficiently run.
I went to the location in Kernersville with my 9 yr old daughter who wasn’t feeling well. We had an awesome check-in, very fast and organized. The nurse practitioner was amazing in taking are of my daughter who was diagnosed with the flu that day. She had to have a nose and throat swab and the nurse was so sweet by bringing her a cup of water as well as a popsicle. Her Dr was very thorough by going over the flu medications and her “get well” instructions before we left. That was the best experience we’ve had with an “Urgent Care” type facility. Thank you!
They moved to a new location which has practically no waiting area. The old one had a children’s side and an adult side with plenty of places to sit. Now they have less than a quarter of the seating space they used to. The rooms have glass doors visible from the waiting area. There is no privacy. Also we did an online check in for 12:14 and at 1:30 we still had a 40 minute wait ahead of us so we left. This is a really sorry downgrade. We won’t be back.
The nurse that attended to me a did the Covid testing on me was fenomenal! She was very cordial and friendly.
The staff was very helpful and friendly to my 3 year old. They didn’t make me feel like we were wasting their time or that we were being a burden like at a lot of urgent care/ER facilities. They took their time and made my 3 year old comfortable with everything they were going to do before they did it. They talked to her like a 3 year old, and not an adult, so she could understand what was happening. I highly recommend this place!!
I had to get Covid tested for an upcoming sinus surgery. I was scared too death. I had heard horror stories about the QTip touching my brain. Lol. It wasn’t bad at all. I think it was better than a strep test.
I left one review about the language barrier and abut the bad care. This is an FYI. The provider that said she heard no wheezing and didn’t seem concerned until I said I’d go to the hospital and do not charge me.......well I had multiple PEs. No risk factors. I stated that I had almost passed out. I cried as I walked inside and the rolled me to a room in which I was left alone. I literally had to hold her stethoscope on my chest for a full breath for her to say ‘oh’ I could have easily died by her poor exam and discretion. I’m alive. I have no desire to file malpractice but get that woman trained! I’m a PA in another field and could have made much better decisions. She needs to know what her decisions almost cost. I cannot in good conscious recommend anybody go there except maybe for a flu shot.
I was seen in a very, very timely manner. I liked the privacy of my room and the cleanliness of the facility. The doctor answered all of my questions and he was very professional. The lady that checked me in was very friendly too.
This was my first experience at a Novant Health Urgent Care. The process of checking in and being seen was seamless. I was being seen for a sprained ankle and I was in and out of there within an hour, including getting an x-ray. The staff were very friendly and honest. The only bad remark I have is after the fact I’m having to see an orthopedist, which is totally fine. However, out of 3 different Go Health locations, none of them are able to put my x-ray on a CD for the orthopedist because their CD burners aren’t working. So, I’m probably going to have to pay for another x-day.
The office was very clean and efficient. Well organized. My provider explained everything in detail. It was a good experience.
Super nice super clean very attentive doctors and nurses
The staff was friendly, quick and clear with me. I would recommend this place compared to a few others the co pay is cheaper than some other places.
I first called and was told it would be 100$ to have my leg looked at because of a rash. Check-in took forever despite being the only one in there when I first arrived. After being billed 100$ at checkout twice ( the first time as the wrong person) I was told I was good bill wise. 3 weeks later I get a bill in the mail saying my total bill was actually 234, and therefore I had a balance to pay off. 234$ to take 5 minutes to look at my leg and prescribe me a cream that was 80$ and did not work!! (When there was a pill for 17$ that worked) .Im outraged and disappointed in the lack of reasonably priced medical opportunities for people without insurance and the lack of communication this facility had with me.
I set an appointment online and had everything I needed... I was made to wait before registering because the staff was hanging out,I guess. When someone finally came to register me he took so long that they took someone before me when I was next(not due to emergency). I set the appointment because I was on my lunch break. The guy had a nonchalant attitude about it as if they dont advertise that an online appointment take precedence over a non-emergency walk-in. I wouldnt recommend, I wish I could give them zero stars and honestly I havent seen the doctor yet. Everything leading up to seeing him or her had left a very sour taste in my mouth.
I left work early due to having chest pains or bad indigestion, I wasn’t sure which I just knew it had been going on for several days. I went in, was told there were 8 people checked in ahead of me. So I decided to come back at a later time. I was told I can check in online and it would save my spot. I did an online check in and set a time of 3:21pm. I got a text maybe 20 minutes later saying they were backed up and my appointment had been moved to 4:53pm. Another 20-30 minutes went by and I got another text message saying it was going to be 4:30, and my understanding was that I would get a text message 30 minutes before I was supposed to come in. Never got another text message, so when I called at about 6:45 at night the lady on the phone continued to try and talk over me when I was trying to explain the situation and wanted to figure out what was going on. She kept claiming that they would not text me to reschedule my appointment even though I still had the text message log. I wish PrimeCare had never been shut down, they would have checked me in a lot faster and actually helped me. This place has no privacy with glass doors you can see from the waiting area anyways. I will not be back. I know my review won’t amount to much because they’ll get their money anyways, but they surely don’t show any urgency or any sense of importance to the patient. I’ll go to FastMed or elsewhere from now on. Wasted my time with this place. Hopefully you choose to go elsewhere also.
Mr. Beam was a god send. Truly glad he was there to assist me. With that being said I will make this my first choice go to if problems should ever arise again. Very compassionate and understanding. Cant thank him enough.
I took my husband here after he’s been experiencing stomach pains all night. We got here at 8:03 and had to wait until 8:35 to get checked in. The two ladies at the front kept disappearing to the back and one never came back. When we finally got checked in, we were seen by a Nurse Practitioner, not a doctor! She kept asking the same questions even after my husband had already explained his symptoms. She then told him to give a urine specimen and insisted that he might have bowel movement problems. That does not correlate to his symptoms whatsoever! We were also told that he might need to go to the OR because there is nothing they could do here except for urine analysis. I am so upset. We wasted our times and he is still in a lot of pain! Time and money down the drain, do not come here!!!! Go to Cone instead!
Place was clean. And staff was nice. Definitely check in online prior to arrival. It will move quicker that way.
Excellent service, very friendly and professional staff. The doctor even checked on me two days after my appointment to make sure I was doing well with my medicine and feeling better.
The NP was friendly and seemed qualified but the girl at the desk and the one who took vitals were borderline rude. Certainly not one bit friendly. Would it kill you to smile? I answered questions for my husband because talking caused him to cough and was told that he could answer for himself because “he’s grown”. Well guess what? So am I and I don’t need to be told how to act by a little girl. Unreal.
Very professional And yet personable staff.
Dr Balijinder Kumar is a Wonderful doctor and a Great person. I was Blessed to have seen him.!
I was seen by Alison, what a breath of fresh air. She listened to my Concerns and treated me with the up most respect! Would definitely recommend ( especially when she’s working) what a wonderful experience!
Checked in online. Every one was exceptional! Dr. Ervin was amazing and very informational! She definitely had a smile on her face and even though she was exhausted she truly cares for her patients!
Check in online if youre worried about wait times; I was in and out within an hour, which was much shorter than I anticipated. The staff kept me informed and were very professional. Thank you for taking care of me.For anyone who doesnt know this: Just because a waiting room is empty doesnt mean the examining rooms arent full. The healthcare providers are also limited and may be busy with other patients.
Do not go here! They scam you out your money and time. They made me pay a co-pay just to get my weight and blood pressure checked. I waited a whole hour for them to tell me they cannot offer assistance to me for my chest pains and I’d be better off going to an ER. They did not once check my heart rate, feel my chest, ask me questions leading up to why it happened NOTHING! One nurse who acted clueless came in with an EKG Machine, knowing that the results will tell me absolutely nothing about my chest pain. This place is an absolute joke. Save your time and money!!
Coming home from beach with a bad cough I made an appt online; staff was very courteous& professional..wait time was minimal tooHighly recommend
Great location, fast service, smooth and easy check in process. Excellent first experience.
We had a hold your place at 9:15 . We get there at 9:05 and had to wait until 10:15 to go back and when we get back they had another patient info and said I will have to find your information. Very slow and rude staff when we asked about it. I wouldnt give 1 star.
Other then a long wait for almost empty waiting area .it was great . Dr. Beam was out standing .stitched me up .no time. Going back tomorrow to get them taken out..
I got here at 10:00 and the lobby was fairly empty, Ive been waiting for 2 hours and 45 minutes
GoHealth has succeeded in taking the urgent out of urgent care. The check in takes 5x longer now that GoHealth runs the place. The new remodel is horrible, they have 60s, 70s, and 80s music playing, which is fine, but not at an urgent care. The music of that era tends to be quite repetitive and noisy, things you dont want to here when you are sick. They got rid of the water system in the lobby and replaced it with a water tank that was empty. They painted a wall orange, which is NOT a good color for ANY health care area. The uniforms nor the badges say what type of health care provider you are seeing, ie CMA vs LPN.The NP that came in seemed like he wanted us in and out ASAP.Id avoid this place and any GoHealth urgent care anywhere.
Go straight to the Emergency Room. Came in with muscle pain. They did an EKG,(heart), which they said was normal. They could not rule outa pulmonary embolism and advised us to go to the emergency room, even though they have X-Ray on location. A very expensive visit to be told to go somewhere else, that they cant or wont help you. AVOID. Drive to Winston and visit a Wake facility.
We have been here many times. We have been at the peak of flu season with packed waiting rooms and times when we seemed to be the only patient. We have always received the best care, and I would highly recommend this place to anyone I care about. The providers have always taken time to do a thorough exam and listen to me. They also answer all of my questions, and are very very good at what they do! It is always our first choice!Other reviewers complained of the glass doors. They are made of glass, but not see through. They are heavily frosted so you could not see anyone on the other side of the door. The wait times are typical of all urgent care facilities. At times there are 20+ people in the waiting room, and not 20+ providers to care for all of the patients at the same time. It can take 30-20 minutes on average to do a full set of vitals, through exam, take history and listen to the story of what brought the person there, plus longer for any tests like blood work, flu, mononucleosis or streptococcus. If you are able to check in online prior, that will be your best shot at skipping ahead of others who walked in, and shorten your wait time. Either way, expect a wait time. Again this would be anywhere you want to be seen.To the people mad about the wait, and say they are going to go somewhere else... Id like to know where they found that has no wait, especially in busy times. I dont think such a place exists.Someone else complained about the walls being orange? I dont care what color they paint the walls, I want the very best in medical care, and thats what I get here. They can paint the walls purple, black, any color of the rainbow, or leave them white. Wall color is not something I use to pick health care for my family. Knowledgeable and professional medical staff is a priority to me, not wall color of a facility.Read a reviewer complain they didnt like the water set up they had. The location is in a very busy are with many businesses including a grocery store and restaurants in walking distance away, you can stop by there and get food and drinks. Again I dont go to an urgent care for drinks. I go there for medical care. If you dont like the way they have the water offered, bring your own water. There is not a kid area and no kid toys to entertain them, which I appreciate as I have a 3 yr old who like most kids would immediately go over to any toys he sees to play. Id rather him not go play with toys that a bunch of sick kids have been playing with. Having a spot where all the kids who come in sick touch and play with the same stuff is just not optimal. Yeah, kids are board without toys, so bring in a book or toy yourself or talk to your kids, tell them a story. If this place had toys I wouldnt let my kid play with them and be exposed to all kids of extra germs.Lastly, I read a complaint from a patient who was suspected to have a pulmonary embolism, who was upset they were referred to the emergency department. There is not am urgent care that exists who is able to fully treat a P.E.. Any urgent care with competent staff would refer someone with a potential pulmonary embolism to a Emergency Department. Thats something to be grateful for, not something to complain about.
I was seen here 2-26-2019 in the evening at 6:40pm for symptoms of the flu. I swabbed positive for influenza A. Was told an rx for tamiflu would be sent to my pharmacy and we verified the location. This was around 7:45pm as they were fairly busy. After leaving, we headed straight to the pharmacy as they close at 9pm BUT they had not received the prescription. So, I gave the benefit of the doubt that internet issues could have prevented the prescriptionfrom transmitting yet. Fast forward to 10:30 am today when I sent my husband to the pharmacy as it is imperative with timing to get the tamiflu started as soon as possible for optimal effect. My pharmacy still does not have a prescription. I began trying to call GoHealth and it took almost 20 minutes to get someone to answer the phone. I was then informed that one of the providers on staff would be sent a message to look at it and get it sent in today. I am frustrated, sick as a dog and angry that the longer I wait to start the antiviral the less it will work and the longer i will suffer. They were nice last night but this is unacceptable. Wont be back. Way to go Novant Health/GoHealth... guess I could have waited to be seen today at my primary care physician and paid a cheaper co-pay than I have to pay for urgent care services. So much for trying to utilize urgent care services to start on treatment sooner. Thanks for nothing!!!!!!
They assume everyone Is a pill head went in for wisdom tooth decaying and was told to go buy ibuprofen. Reasons why I havent been to a doctor in 7 years they dont care!!!!!
We arrived at 2 pm on a Saturday and left at 3:03 pm. Can’t ask for better than that
I would rate a zero if I couldve. The wait time is crazy. 2 hours and 20 minutes before we got to the back. Never again!!!!!
Staff was very helpful & professional.
There were two individuals ahead of me after check in, was promised my wait would be no longer than 25 minutes, have been waiting an hour and have yet to be seen.
Just walked out of there, I took my son for an emergency and ended up receiving attitude from the staff.
As everyone already said...i brought my 4 yr old son and the room is empty but its been an hour and 20mins and we are still waiting!! This is not URGENT care, just care!
Almost empty waiting area at check-in still sitting here a hour to see someone. This is far from urgent Care
Excessively long wait.
