Steve is an outstanding member of the community that is in constant action of doing kind things for Kenersville during the holidays and in his daily existence in humanity. His family has come to me in the service industry and I wanted to reciprocate the support and kindness that has been mirrored to me. I am sharing this because I have a father who is a Veterinarian. And as I watched my father go into tough moments of business in his career. The ethics of billing became a question in my mind. Lets just say his financial insecurity led him not to be so forthright with clientele. I feel auto mechanics have a reputation as even lawyers in possibly not being so clear cut in their billing. I am sharing this background information as I was prepared to be as supportive as possible in COVID times by putting a new set of wheels on my car. During COVID, tires have gone up and are even unavailable to receive stock because of the shipping routes from abroad. I was trying to think ahead and be prepared for myself whilst supporting Steve in his ethical and impecable business. He took care of a routine auto tune up, oil change, tire rotation in the most timely manor. Steve inspected and completed diagnostics and clearly stated the tires had much more mileage to aquire. He communicated with me honestly and in a professional and caring manor. I think Steve has the right approach to his business as the technical skillset he has with a lifetime of auto care runs parallel with his interest in building relationships. And that is what business is about for me. Steve is fair, kind, and straight forward. I am grateful to have Steve as resource to feel comfortable enough to know should any key points or suggestions arise in my automobile, it would be in my best interest to resolve whats on the table without a second guess.

Very poor customer service its like no attempt even made on fixing friends car. Car sat there for over month and they just said maybe just take it to dealership. I dont recommend this place at all

I *very* rarely write reviews. And was not asked to write this one. I bought a junkyard vehicle that seemed to be mechanically sound, and asked Steve to get it up to snuff. And essentially gave him free reign to just do whatever was needed. Steve could have taken advantage of this and made a bunch of unnecessary repairs or charged me for things that he didnt even do, but thats not he does business. I came out spending $1000 LESS than I expected to. And my vehicle is running smoothly! Want someone honest, who treats you like family (Im not, and dont have any personal connections to the shop)...go to Steves!

I would highly recommend this place. I had three lugs stripped on my tire and they took the time to get them off it took them quite a while too and they didnt charge me extra!

We have always had a great experience but today, on Valentines Day, he and his team went above and beyond. I lost my wedding ring in the center console of my car, I was freaking out, they took my car a part and FOUND MY RING, and then did NOT charge me for the time! Seriously THE BEST place to take your car.

At times, he actually takes business away from himself by telling you that you dont need to do this right now. Five Star Plus rating Steves Tire and Auto is very affordable he fixes what needs to be fixed doesnt try to overcharge people and hes very knowledgeable and his group or very knowledgeable and he fixes what needs to be fixed not goes overboard. I will definitely take my vehicle to him. Again hes a A plus mechanic and business owner. A lot of garages see a woman like okay yeah we can pull one over on somebody but she said she doesnt know anything about a car now hes not like that hes very honest and tries to work with you way to go Steve

Very kind and courteous people! We had an emergency while visiting Kernersville (serpentine belt snapped while driving) and they fixed us up within an hour and a half. The price was spot on for what was done and we couldn’t be more pleased. My family and I highly recommend this place!

Been a customer for 4-5 years. First auto shop Ive ever been to where I didnt feel like Id been ripped off or that I needed to take a shower afterward.

We love Steves. Theyre the kind of guys you know are giving you a fair deal and good advice. If your car just needs an AC fuse, theyll recommend just the fuse where other guys will tell you to replace the whole thing. We dont go anywhere else for our repair needs.

Ive lived in the triad for 14 years and have had the same repair shop in HP for the past 10 (at least) work on all my vehicles. They were close, but always straight up & honest with me. If i didnt need a repair, they would tell me. I never felt like they were pushing any unnecessary repairs on me. Then I moved to Kernersviile,, which is not far away, but I pass Steves everyday to and from work and decided to do some research. His reviews were great and I took a chance. Im so glad I did. Hes honest, fair and fast for the most part. I would recommend Steves to anyone.

I walked into Steve’s Tire and Automotive at 4:50 today 40 minutes before closing. Everyone was nice, not in a hurry and the mechanic explained the service when he brought me my keys. I could not have asked for better service. I have recommended Steve’s to many friends at my church. I have never had Steve do much work on my car but I refuse to deal with anyone who is not friendly and seem to care about my needs as a customer. I do feel Steve and his daughter both that kind of people.
