My husband and I planned our entire day around being available for a signature-required, VERY IMPORTANT, time-sensitive, overnight package that needs to be refrigerated ASAP. Tracking emails stated before 8pm so my husband sat at home for the entire day, working from a chair four feet from the only door accessible from our driveway, despite a family emergency. No delivery arrived. No delivery was even attempted. Then FedEx updated the tracker to “delivery attempted”, supposedly at 5:38pm and “no one was home” and that we now have to drive all the way across town to pick up. Make this make sense, FedEx. I know staffing is hard right now, but you’ve got delivery drivers just lying and I can see from other recent reviews that I am not the only one experiencing this.

My tracking showed that my package was out for delivery and would be delivered by 8pm. I stayed home and waited as it was a very expensive item. I waited until 8:30pm and called FedEx. The customer service representative stated my package was loaded on a truck that was still at the distribution center and it would be delivered the following day. The tracking was then updated to delivery attempt which couldnt be possible if the item was on a truck that never left the warehouse. The following day the tracking never updated and the package was still at the warehouse. I had to drive to FedEx and wait in line as other customers were experiencing the same issue. FedEx needs to take more responsibility and be honest with their customers. If I hadnt contacted them the second time I would have wasted a second day waiting for the delivery to arrive. Receiving the item was not the issue. The issue is I wasted my time sitting at home waiting. Then the delivery status was changed to delivery attempt which is a blatant lie. Honesty can go a long way.

This location is trash and it does not even desert the star I didn’t volunteer to give. I had an important package overnighted and according to the tracking, it was delivered and it wasn’t. I had to call them just for them to inform me that for “some reason” it wasn’t delivered and is sitting at the location. I asked them to leave it there and I will pick it up the next business day. Called the next day to confirm pick up… and now they are telling me they don’t have a clue where the package is and what I was talking about and that it was delivered on the original date according to tracking

Meijer Specialty Pharmacy should stop using Fedex, especially if it needs to go through this distribution center. My medication has been ready for delivery and on the truck for the last 4 days. I have been out of my medication for the last three - I’m in intense amounts of pain, and I will likely suffer all the adverse effects I had already experienced when I titrated to my current dose when I start back up again once I finally recover my med. Thanks for making me go without of a Med that should be titrated up and titrated down when starting and stopping FedEx.Additionally, when I called and said I would pick up, they said sure great, but then it was already loaded on a truck and irretrievable. Next time, I’ll just have Meijer Specialty ship to the Meijer, and I’ll pick it up in person. I’m not relying on FedEx for anything ever again. Completely incompetent. Mgt knows it, or else they’d be willing to talk to customers instead of letting their poor frontline workers deal with leadership’s incompetence.

My overnight packaged said it would be delivered by 8pm and it never arrived. I waited around and cancelled my plans because it was a package I needed to sign for. When I checked the delivery status it now says pending. Tracking shows it has been at this facility for far too long for it to be an overnight package. Every time I call to try to speak to someone it takes me on a loop of automated messages and won’t let me talk to a human. This is a package I need ASAP for work and now I haven’t a clue when it will arrive and no one to assist me with FedEx.

Unreliable on timely deliveries.This is second time I had a person wait all day for the shipment to be signed for.Ive checked the dilevery status scans. Package was on truck for delivery then 3 hours later it was scanned back into the delivery facility. They never even attempted to deliver the package.When I called to confirm it was in route they kept telling me it would be delivered by 8pm.Cant believe they can continue to operate this way.

FedEx is terrible. We have never had a package delivered smoothly from them. We’ve had heavily damaged packages and long unexplained delays. This last frustration, I was sitting in the living room waiting on a package I had to sign for. No knock, no doorbell but got an update text saying they couldn’t make the delivery because no one was home. So now tomorrow someone has to be home “sometime before 8pm” to sign for the package. Not the first time this has happened either. I have never had a problem with Amazon delivery. I have never had a problem with USPS. I have never had a problem with UPS. I have never had problems with any shipping company except for fedex. Fedex is the worst shipping company out there.

My package hasnt made it out of this ship center again. My vendor is local to this location...my overnight packages get stuck here routinely. So my overnight shipments turn into 2 and 3 day shipments because of Operational Delays. Very frustrating and not up to FedEx standards. This location is Horrible!!!!!

This place is just the worst. I’m from out of town and needed to ship off some dangerous goods. For some reason or another, only UPS Customer Centers deal with DG. So being from out of town I have no car here. Got in an Lyft and made the entire 25 minute drive over here just to find out that their credit card machine was down and they don’t take cash. Before you think “why didn’t you call first,” I did but was only able to get the generic automated message with the hours. I got absolutely no help from the employees. Basically they gave me a Sorry Not Sorry. Screw UPS I’m going to FedEx.

Ordered with express one-day shipping, and my order is now 3 days later and has still not arrived. The package has been marked as sitting in the Kentwood facility for 2 days now. This is not the first time this has happened to me now, although the first time the order got to me at least on the day after.

FedEx is holding my package for the next 4 days after having it on a truck on the way to my house today. After realizing the package would be early they refused to deliver it until 4 days from now or 2 more business days. They told me you get what you pay for regardless if the package is early they will refuse to deliver the package. I watched my tracking and I watched it get updated it was on its way and it never came. They replied with you will get it in the 3rd day and it will sit in out warehouse until then.

If they attempt to make a delivery they deliver it to the wrong address.My wife didnt go anywhere the 2 days they said they attempted to deliver our package, and I know the doorbell works because my daughter constantly rings it thinking its funny.The first day they said nobody was home, and the both days my wife was in the living room waiting along with watching my daughter play out the front window.Then we got the notice that they attempted the delivery and left a door tag, but my wife, daughter, and neighbor were outside the entire afternoon and never seen a delivery driver and we had no door tag either.I also work at the apartment complex and can say prior to COVID they would just run it to the office without making an attempt to deliver, but during COVID since the office isnt accepting packages its unlikely that they even attempt to deliver, they just say they tried then expect you to go pick it up. If you have any choice have it sent USPS or UPS because they actually do there jobs and attempt delivery.

Im not sure why this location has such poor reviews. I had excellent customer service when I came to pick up my package. The associate who was working was very friendly and quick. Its a nice, clean facility and easy to find off of M-37.

Boy got the rudest customer service ever if I can even call it customer service. It was an older lady and the first question she asked if it was all set to go, she answered her own question quickly with a no. And I could barely get a word in. She rudely asked me how I was going to pay which is a weird question to ask bc if your getting a service everyone will be expected to pay. I took that as a racist remark. I showed her the barcode and she said she couldnt scan that. Didnt even try. She asked for some numbers and I told her there was a label ID and code but she said no not that. I dont work at FedEx and have zero knowledge of what she needed me to provide her. She couldve been nicer about it. Never been treated so poorly. Absolutely horrible. Second time in this store in the span of about 5-6 years and I will avoid it like the plague.

I have monthly shipments of very expensive medical supplies shipped to me. Rather than leave them at my door, FedEx holds them at this location for pick up. Its very convenient as its on my drive to/from work, service is very prompt and Ive never waited more than 5 minutes even when there was a line.

I will never ship or request a shipment through them. I was supposed to get my package by 8pm today. it was back at the facility by 6:44pm. I called the center and they said due to icy road conditions. it was 50 degrees out today. there was no snow or ice on the roads. then they tell me oh he ran out of hours today. it will be there tomorrow between 11 and 3. This is not the first experience ive had with fedexs poor service. If i have a choice i will never use them.

This location will not give you a phone number to call. When you get redirected from the 1-800, the people working this Kentwood location are rude and want to know how you got connected in the first place.Twice they have attempted to deliver refrigerated meds to my wife, and after making her wait all day, decide to come when we go down the road to speak to our landlord at 5:15 pm. The next day they attempt delivery. Wife runs to get a prescription for our 4 month old son around 1 pm, they show up at 1:50pm. This inconsistency HAS to stop. Tell us a damn time when you are coming. And dont be rude when you call to ask to come back.

A horrible experience They kept telling me to go to one place after another to get the package it wouldnt be there. Id call again and the previous conversation and arrangements werent recorded resulting in another promise --that wasnt kept or recorded. The latest is that it was to be delivered (I Promise said the rep) and was assured that it would be here by noon. Called at 11:30 and was assured it was on the truck and would be delivered by noon; At noon, no package and FOUND OUT IT NEVER EVEN LEFT THE DOCK!!!!I am still on hold now and it looks like a 60 mile drive to wherever they think the package it. STILL DONT have it. God awful service.

Ive tried on 3 seperate occasions to get packages delivered faster through fed ex. Everytime itll say package on truck to be delivered by 8pm and everytime its taken them multiple days of saying this prior to getting package. Everytime I have to complain to customer service just to get my packages. Each time ive paid 2 day shipping, this time its been 5 days already and no package. It was supposed to be delivered by 10am this morning. It is now 5:55pm and I still dont have my package! Im never using fed ex ever again!

Customer service personalities are less than pleasant plan on standing in line a while. They left me a door tag and need me to sign for my package. Being that I work during the day I called to see if I could pick that up from the FedEx location five min. away from my work. They said no, that I would have to drive 25 min. away to pick up because they can only deliver to certain FedEx stores for pickups. grrr, As regional distribution manager for 19 states all I know is I AM SO GLAD WE USE UPS FOR ALL OUR NEEDS.

Horrible service, lazy drivers, they put a door tag in our common area 10 feet away from the office where we were sitting waiting for a delivery. When I called, they told me to come pick it up! Why should I have to drive down to your facility because your drivers are lazy?! If you ever need to ship something, use UPS, theyve never had a problem finding my office and are always friendly.

Ive usually pretty forgiving when a carrier driver accidentally leaves my package on his truck. Were all human and crap happens..UPS rarely leaves a package on their truck and strive to get my package to me as date indicated. My Fedex driver marked a package Delivery exceptionLocal delivery restriction - Delivery not attempted. If you google the above exception, it basically means weather related. In this case, it is/was a bunch of horse poop. The roads were fine, no snow/rain storms. Another time, I paid Amazon extra to have an item 1 day delivery. Item didnt arrive until day 3. I am starting to believe this Fedex is run by idiots
