Maxine was the associate who “tried to be helpful”. It was absolutely ridiculous that she wouldn’t take my Amazon return because I couldn’t pay for the tape. I walked in for a quick drop off and her response was “I just work for UPS, take it up with Amazon”.You may work for UPS but you are an Amazon affiliate and I’m sure neither company would object to you going above and beyond for great customer service.Terrible customer service on her part. I really hope she get trained by the other staff there who are quick and easy going.
Ive been trying to get the address updated for my delivery for over a week and now its being returned to sender with 0 reaching out on upss part to fix my address problem I have been trying to fix this past week. Ive tried going through the app, website and the 1800 customer support. Cannot talk to a single person who can actually help. Drop locations are absolutely useless and refer me to the 1800 number that will hang up on you for asking to speak to a person. All I want is my delivery. Ill be avoiding ups like the plague after I finally get my stuff... if I ever do

I had the worst experience of my life at this UPS store and I dont foresee myself using this store ever again nor potentially UPS in my lifetime. Heres a snapshot of what happened:On 10/14/2020 I purchased next day air with signature/tracking at a premium price. I clarified with Jarcatta several times prior to purchasing the NDA shipment that I need my passport shipped on time to NY. She confirmed that the shipment will arrive by Friday, 10/16/2020. Instead the shipment arrived on Monday, 10/19/2020 as the shipment was not picked up in a different state onto a plane - as seen per tracking info. It was very critical that the passport gets to NY on time as I have preplanned my trip overseas during this challenging time of a pandemic.On the UPS website - it clearly states that with UPS Next Day Air Shipping - it is the ideal service for shipments that must arrive the next business day and Time-definite service - or your money back. The money back is apparently not guaranteed. In explaining my situation to Jarcanna, Patti (store manager), Tate (corporate customer service), and Ravinder I have not received my refund (although I called two weeks later and was informed by the store I AM getting my refund). I spoke with Ravinder regarding this issue and he let me know that he is not responsible for the packages that dont arrive on time as they do not guarantee shipping as of March. This is not advertised in the store as you can see per the photo (taken on 12/7/2020) nor was this communicated to me verbally. I am going off the expectations that next day air is guaranteed as that was promised prior to purchasing the shipping.Unfortunately I will be escalating this issue further, but wanted to share the last experience I will be having with this store. I have wasted too much time and money on this for the services promised not to be rendered. This is unacceptable.P.S. As a front line customer services manager - Patti is very unprofessional. When I attempted to explain my situation, she kept interrupting me and letting me know that I wont be getting my refund without hearing my story. After I explained everything, she let me know that I wont be getting my refund one more time - only with a smirk on her face. I know its difficult to tell with masks on - but you can tell when someone is smiling through the crows feet on their eyes. Im not sure if any customer service training will help this effort, but the way I was treated was very inappropriate.
Today is 12/22/2020The young man, I believe his name was Jason, he was amazing. People were lined up out the door, he had a customer who was being difficult and was unprepared for what he needed too do. I was there to send 2 faxes and needed notary.Jason maintained his professionalism despite the difficult customer and the stress of the line up of people waiting. He really tried to make the man happy with excellent customer service. Kudos to you JasonThis was the store on Washington in Kent
1 star is being generous! Not only will I not use UPS again. I will also recommend to family and friends not to also. I paid over a 100 to have a package delivered by Friday. Which contains my maintenance medication.My thyroid medication is essential to my everyday health. Especially with COVID-19 going on! The package didn’t get delivered and was told it would be delivered the next day, which was Saturday. Still no package! I called again and this time was told it would be Monday and would t be issued a refund. Not only am I without my medication for a week now instead of a couple days the money also! I got the run around from UPS and the store manager Patty never even called me back. After I reached out for tracking info and or refund of at least the difference. No other options or resolutions have been offered or made for this huge inconvenience! Also the instability of my health and moods because the lack of my maintenance medication that I still haven’t received! I will never use UPS again! They just take your money and keep your packages-------------------------------------------

I went to this store .They welcomed me with smile. The lady was very helpful. I had a package for dropoff. It took 2 to 3 minutes hardly. I recomend to have good service with this store.
Store is very busy, and they help do anything needed. My print jobs are always correct and on time.
I used to be a regular at this location for drop offs for my shopping needs. Today, I had a drop off for an Amazon return. This location accepts drop offs however it was stated that due to COVID-19, they were not providing receipts for drop offs. I’m sorry but I’m not leaving hundreds of dollars worth of packages with you without a drop-off confirmation receipt. Definitely shady as the other workers at different times of the day have given me a receipt. Two days ago to be exact. What caused me to leave a review was the UPS employee’s tone and attitude. I didn’t experience negativity however the aggressiveness and talking-down tone towards others in the store was atrocious.
They dont have the hours posted on the store front ANYWHERE! will update review if this changes, but come on guys how hard is it to put up a piece of paper with your hours... every other business and their mother has the hours posted
I’ve had to do quite a bit of returns here with packages and have to say that the ladies that work here are so nice and accommodating. Often times they take out the legwork with packaging and all the other details with shipments. Always see them working hard and appreciate that they still take the time to do that one extra thing for you.

Incredibly rude old lady working there. Further they nickel and dime you like you wouldn’t believe... Was told they charge $2.50 to open an email to print something- not to use a computer, just their charge for literally opening the store email acct for a print job. FedEx is 0.8 miles away and they didn’t make up superfluous charges- and the staff was nice too. AVOID
I have used this particular UPS store in Kent several times and always leave feeling grateful for their assistance and ideas. Everyone I have dealt with is warm, friendly and so helpful often advising me on better ways to package my items. Just very recently I was assisted by an employee named Debbie. She is a gem!
Monday I mailed a letter to Chicago overnight. I was told that it would arrive noon to 2PM the next day. The charge was $42.50. My assumption is that it was through UPS and at no time was I informed otherwise. When I discovered that it had not arrived 2 days latter and I called the Kent store, they said I had to speak with the UPS 800 number. I called them and could not get past the phone tree with the tracking number. I called the Kent office and was then informed for the first time this was not sent through UPS but the post office. I tracked the package through the post office web site to fine that it was not sent out until 2 days latter. so much for overnight and $42.50. I called the Kent UPS office back and they said they could not, and would not help me, nor would they refund the fee. The manager Patty said that their agent gave me the choice or would have informed me which absolutely did not occur. Poor service with an attitude. Avoid if at all possible.
I went to this UPS store after a bad experience at the one on Kent-Kangley (very rude lady). The staff was very friendly and helpful. This store was out of my way but I will definitely use the store again.

Definitely really bad I read the reviews and still went ahead and witness for myself, because of a passport shes never seen tells me about us laws, and wouldnt notarize keep in mind same passport was used in recent official court papers, READ THE REVIEWS AND DO NOT GO THERE. Want to get something notarized, go to bank, plain and simple. Its really fast
Worst ups store I have ever been to. The worker refused to complete my Amazon return because I didn’t pack it. Even after I offered to buy a box from them. She had already printed my return label and refused to give it to me to put on the package to return. She did not cancel the return label with amazon and I had to make another trip to a different store. I would not recommend going to this store. Shame they are so close the amazon too....
Charged $1 for 6 inches of tape. Even USPS does better. Hourly employees behind the counter are trying to be friendly, however they can’t really combat dumb policies from owners.Since owners are not customer facing most of the time, and don’t see customer frustrations it’s best to leave feedback here, and maybe eventually point will get across.Also they are not thrilled about you taking your Amazon returns there, so you might get much better customer service at other store or drop off locations.

This is probably the most stressful and frustrated time because of the COV19. I went to pick up a package at this location for my little sister because she is at high risk. And I ask the employee if I can FaceTime my sister to show her ID and she said no. I had to go all the way to pick up my Little sister to pick up the package. Shows how much they care for their customers...? Only if I can rate them a 0.
I would give zero stars if I could. Called and asked if they do notary, which they said yes too. Got into the store and they said they can help me with any other service except notary because im not wearing a mask. Whats the difference with all the other businesses they conduct that doesnt require a mask? They were very rude and simply didnt want to help
If I could post 0 zero stars I would. Clerk there seemed like she didnt know what she was doing. She seemed confused as to how to weigh and select what type of package I was trying to send. My package envelope weighed 1.75lbs as the scale is right on the counter by the register. I dont send things out very often so Im unaware of the prices. The clerk charged me $12.75 for my package, I thought it was kind of steep, but didnt mind since it was going to Hawaii. HOWEVER when my mother who received the package sent me a picture to show me she got it. I zoomed in to see that the US postage sticker said total of $4.12. So where did the rest of my money go? To the clerk who overcharged me is who. I will not being coming back here again.
After being a customer there for almost 6 years, imagine my surprise to go in to renew my box and be told the rates went up with no notice....I was actually told that UPS corporate told them not to give customers advance notice of the price increase. What if I had walked in with the exact amount I was expecting to pay? Things have definitely not been the same since Perry sold the store. Pretty unlikely I will renew my box there again. I have been in Customer Service way too long to accept this....
This UPS store is the worst. They lost my package and refused to give me any receipt of the drop off. Do not trust the employees there and the manager isn’t very polite.
After reading negative reviews I was reluctant to use this store, but it was the most convenient location for me so I thought Id give it a try. I shipped two Amazon return packages yesterday with Tammys assistance and everything was fine. Her service was everything you could hope for . . . FIVE STARS! and Ill be using this store in the future.
Price for notary services were pretty high. $20 for two stamps and three minutes of work. Not very fair to the customer. Staff was not very welcoming and made absolutely no more conversation then what was required. Very awkward experience.

The older woman that helped me with an Amazon return gave me THE MOST trouble Ive ever had with anything involving UPS!First, my instructions told me to take the heater back to a UPS store to for the return -the last few like this had me just giving the item to them unboxed. Since I had the box for this still, I put it in and took the box in -but I didnt have anymore box tape since I used it all in my move 2 weeks ago. At this point, she messed up in the computer and had to rescan my return code, then tells me I have to pay to take it up.. ??? What?!? She says its too big for the Amazon return...But THEN, as Im getting into my car she comes running out of the store with it and tells me she cant accept it because it has oil in it. I explain to her its not a hazardous shipment, and was shipped that way and is ALWAYS shipped that way. She says I would have to drain it........ It DOESNT DRAIN!!its not combustible oil! Its an oil heater that has it SEALED INSIDE!!She wouldnt let me leave without giving my name and phone number in case the driver refused to take it. Since it was DELIVERED BY UPS, I cant understand why its illegal one way and not the other, but ok cool, have a nice day, lady

Worst experience ever. They REFUSED to take my box I was ending back to an amazon warehouse. The reason?....I did not tape the box shut (I don’t have clear packing tape at home) and they said they charge $1.00 to tape any box shut. I did not have any money on me, and asked if they could please tape it and they refused....so I could not send my package.I want to point out, UPS stores like this are franchises, and should not exist. At ANY corporate UPS store you’ll get free packing tape, free help to and from your car etc. Franchise UPS stores like this should be a last resort. The man in front of me in line did not realize he was being ripped off when he was charged $45.00 for an empty 24x36x24 inch cardboard box- they told him it was a special size, but that included the packing material- ha! He had to pay the UPS freight charge on top of the fancy cardboard box, however the freight charges themselves from UPS are fair.Do NOT support franchise UPS stores, do not give them your money- go to a corporate store.

Paid $75 to have an envelope delivered next day air before 8:30am and it didnt get there till the following day. This is the second time this has happened to me out of the 2 times ive attempted to expedite shipping with UPS.
I had a fantastic experience with this UPS store! I flew out to Seattle for a day to box up and ship everything that was in my storage unit, and I was running out of time. The owner, Perry, went above and beyond. He packaged up most of my things so that I could catch my flight home and even went so far as to attempt to get me a ride to the airport, instead of me taking a taxi.Within a week of returning home to Colorado, I received a total of 16 packages and all of them were delivered on time and in excellent condition. (Including a box full of fragile items and a full-size electric keyboard.) I highly, highly recommend this store. I dont know what I wouldve done without them.

I second that review of the lady clerk. This is my second experience with her and she has zero multitasking skills. I happened to misplace my label but had one in the box. Having been there before and had them slap on a small amount of tape when I needed it, I opened up my small box and got the label out of it. 10 minutes later she is done and now she wants to charge me $1 to put 18 of tape on my box. (They have a new owner apparently) I can understand trying to recover lost $ for all the people asking for tape. But after having to wait 10 minutes for her to discover the document being notorized has white out on it which voids it and basically wasted both of our time, Id expect some kind of compassion for the waste of my time and at the very least 18 of free tape. I will not be going there ever again with my dropoffs. I will be taking them down the road to the UPS warehouse in Southcenter. So much for trying to give you guys the $1 dopoff bounties.

Ive gone there twice and each time everyone there has had poor attitudes. They talk to each other rudely, they talk to their customers in a very rude manner, and dont know how to run their own programs.I refuse to step foot back into this UPS store.

Not sure if the heavier set woman is racist or just plain rude. So disappointing after seeing so many good reviews.Went to print out a couple of documents via HP ePrint app which CELARLY shows their location is one that accepts ePrints. When my fiancé went in first she was rude and seemed unfamiliar with the option.I figured Id go in and explain and show her the app and confirmation. She looked annoyed and was plain rude without allowing me to finish. I was trying to show her how this store is listed and I hadnt had this problem with ANY OTHER UPS STORE but this one.Hopefully youll get lucky and treated with FAR better customer service than we got. This is for our trucking business too mind you so this is definitely one place well NEVER come to again for business. Save yourself a trip and go to FedEx at Kemt Station or another UPS store with staff that has respect and manners.
