They discriminate by picking and choosing who they will give a loan to . After asking for bank statements, paystubs and proof of income I was told “we are choosing not to lend to you” because I am a transportation driver. The rude woman on the other side of the glass said that because she was not familiar with my company even though I provided all required documents denied me a loan because I “don’t work in an office or a bank or something, where we could call you at work” as I explained to her over and over I have proof dating back “that’s not enough” of my employment with the company. She even refused call my manager. Just because I don’t sit in an office space doesn’t mean that she wouldn’t be able to get thru to me . I am a transportation driver and that obviously means I am out on the road under regular circumstances. I have not physically been to work since early 2020 due to covid and social distancing ( since I drive a bus and carry passengers) but have continued to be paid . Even with all of the legal documents necessary I have been denied and discriminated against. She proceeded to laugh in my face and as she continued to be unhelpful. When I asked her where does it state that you guys get to “pick and choose” who you loan to she didn’t even have a reasonable answer other than we are choosing not to loan to you today . I would not have spent 30minutes in this place calling my bank establishment to send over a letter and printing out my personal information if anywhere it stated “we are a small business so we get to pick and choose who we lend t.” Terrible customer service . Discriminators!!!!

I just want to share my experience. I came in to this store after a long day of trying to run errands. I didnt get off work until late and I still needed to cash my check. I can tell you I met one of the most sweetest and down to earth ladies ever named Veronica. You really made my day so much better it was such a relief when you helped me. I was able to get my check cashed and go home to my kids to make dinner. I will be returning, thank you Micro Loans NW!! You guys are the best!!

The tellers at Microloans NW are AMAZING!!! You can feel the family atmosphere there and they really make you feel like you’re the only customer in the store when you’re in front of their windows. They greet you when you walk in, they remember your name, they know what you’re there for, and as you make your way to their window they’re already grabbing all your paperwork to make your transaction smooth and quick! My last time there I was helped by the lovely Veronica who is always willing to go the extra mile to satisfy her customers. She was able to get us a better rate and called us to come back in After we had left to get a little money refunded back to us which is always nice!

Ive gotta say, anytime Jess is working I end up having a great experience! I send money to my mom out of state a few times a month, and it seems like anywhere else Ive gone theres always some issue. But Jess is always so quick and pleasant to deal with, she really makes it a breeze!

I enjoy coming to micro loans. They have bilingual staff to help with any questions. My favorite person is veronica she is very professional and friendly. I would highly recommend to anyone that needs to cash a check. Also they sell things like speakers and Nintendo games. One stop shop. I went to Micro Loans NW to try to get Pay Day Loan. One of the tellers that was helping me out her name is Veronica. She explained to me everything what I needed to get loan and I appreciate her for helping me. I wasn’t able to get the loan because I did not qualify for it but I thank her for her customer service.

POOR SERVICE. These people are very unprofessional. DO NOT TAKE OUT A LOAN HERE. You can meet ALL the requirements, & they will still ask you for more information. They’re ONLY serving in the local areas is what I was told, but that’s NO WHERE LISTED ON THEIR WEBSITE OR ON THE REQUIREMENTS SHEET THAT THEY GIVE YOU WHEN YOU START QUESTIONING “WHY THE ADDITIONAL INFORMATION? THAT’S NOT ONE OF YOUR REQUIREMENTS.” The owner Kevin told me that it doesn’t have to be listed anywhere, he can add any additional requirements if he chooses to. He was very unprofessional & RUDE as well just like his staff VERONICA. AVOID THIS PLACE, IT’S NOT WORTH THE HASSEL.

Very inviting customer service nice to the customer even if theyre going through it they wont let it show. Im always greeted with a smile. One time I was having trouble with my phone service we called the company and I didnt have the patience for the company rambling on and on. So Veronica and Jessica helped me and took over as I was about to hang up. Suzie high energy makes you have a reason to smile. Angie willing to go above and beyond to help. This applies to all of them they just make you feel like family always giggling and being patient. Worth going to!!!

Very unprofessional and unorganized . I came here for a loan and was told that I’m denied because another teller but a note on my file ... saying “we got into it” ... that never happened and the fact that I can’t get a loan for something so one sided makes no sense. You lost a customer . Very rude and unprofessional and people whoMoney launder here. They also made a note that if you need to have a payment plan after 2 loans you can no longer loan with them. Also because I hadn’t been in months they went on the side of the teller .. I hadn’t been in months because I don’t make it a habit to take loans

Very welcoming once you walk in. The staff member didn’t wait for me to walk up to the counter to ask what I needed help with like most places. She keeps a conversation going while doing her job. I will be back here to get my money orders! Jessica your awesome.

Received a phone call from them in regards to a check I wrote one of their customers. They asked to verify funds in my account to cash the check. Im thinking, okay you have the systems to do that go for it. Nope! They wanted me to give them my user name and password to my bank accounts. Sorry, I am not a complete idiot! If this is the kind of things this business does I would stay far away from it.Kevin, thank you for responding. While I understand your frustration with dishonest people that is even more reason for me to not give out my user name and password, even to a 3rd party company. The first thing any financial institution will tell you is to not give that information to anyone, including them. Now to assist you with the problem of checks not having funds, look into electronic check cashing. There are electronic check cashing programs that will verify and guarantee funds immediately. With these programs you would no longer put check writers at risk by having them give out sensitive information. Have a great day, Carrie.

I came into micro loans for the first time and I was approved for a loans for $300 but I had a hassle free account so the teller tells me to go to my bank an open an account with checks and then come back and we will give you a loan. I did that the next day and they told me no that is not going to work. I am so upset with this company I do not recommend going to this company they are incompetent and ignorant and should not be in busy especially if this is how they treat their customers.

Freands always know your name always have big smiles and no lines to wait in. Very much one of the best places I have ever gone to cash a check. And all the ladies there are very beautiful so its a pleasure to see them I would go there weekly sometimes even more just to see there beautiful smiles always a pleasure

Nightmare experience. The parking lot is tiny and overcrowded, with grocery carts just rolling in the wind begging to hit someones car.The inside smells vaguely like urine and fabreeze, and they advertise things on their walls they dont actually offer (They claim to offer $700 loans, but upon getting to a teller they tell you they only offer $500).And about the tellers: they are awful. I was greeted with an attitude and weirdly-pointed smirk upon entering, the person I was talking with made weird judgemental remarks that seemed vaguely racist. She rolled her eyes at me several times and basically refused to make any sort of real eye contact. Bizarre.The worst part, after going through hours of crap and risking damage to my car by parking in their awful parking lot I was denied a $500 loan despite the fact that I make over 20 times the loan amount in a single month. The teller literally smiled as she told me, and it was obvious she was enjoying the moment.Im not sure whats up with this place, but I would advise anyone to not do business with them. Ive never had an experience like this in my life, and I hope to never again.

A pretty big joke if you ask me. I just got a job at Amazon and make more than enough to pay back a loan in one check, and only need the money to cover rent till my first check comes in, but because they require three months on activity in a bank account I neither need nor use, and 3 months of employment (I went the month of November unemployed of my own volition to find a better job, which I did) my application didnt make it past the phone call. If you are going to make promises about generous help for people who are in a financial jam, then dont ask for a load of superfluous information. Ask for what actually matters: are you currently employed? Do you make enough to pay back the loan in the alotted time? Do you have an account to deposit the money in? As it stands your website is full of misinformation and you are just another bland company with no desire to help anyone but yourselves.

When i went to micro loans my teller, Jessica Alas, was more than friendly67 in her work place and i do reccomend coming here to Microloans.
