Got me in for an exhaust/muffler estimate, no appt needed. I was shocked at how affordable they quoted the repair. I was told it would be a few hours for the work, but it only took 45minutes! Staff is personable, and knowledgeable. I would highly recommend them, and will be using ONLY them for all my auto repair needs in the future. So happy to have found them! Was told I would possibly need 2 parts replaced but couldnt confirm until he began work. Turned out I only needed 1 part replaced. Very ETHICAL, as some shops would have done it ANYWAY for the money. Its so appreciated!! Daves Muffler is an A++ in my book!

I took my Honda Pilot to get “new” rotors and brakes in the back. I paid $411 and some change. First time the brakes were still squeaking, i took it back and they said its just a little squeak now. I drove it for about 4 days to see if the “little” squeak would go away but it has gotten worse. They blaming it on the manufacturer and it not being enough people for quality checks.........I DO NOT RECOMMEND this place.

Had a horrible experience with them, will NEVER go back or refer anyone to them. Said my husband needed a whole new engine, when they only were supposed to be doing the catalytic converter (which they didnt even do that properly) When we picked it up, it sounded horrible and was driving terribly so we took it to our normal mechanic and he fixed it all up with no issues!! And NO he did NOT need a whole new engine

I needed a custom exhaust done in my truck. They did a great job and they were very reasonably priced. As a former mechanic I have a hard time taking my cars and trucks anywhere but these guys are great.

This place will try to ROB you!!! I took my 2001 car in to get my exhaust repaired expecting it to be $80.00. My brake lines were leaking as well so asked them to take a look. They called me back and said the calipers, brake and gas lines needed to be replaced. They quoted me $1,700 for everything! This was extremely high but already had it there and thought I could trust them. They called me back the next day and said the brake lines were not included in the price and now it would be $2,100. Then the next day the final total would be $2,400 for everything. At this point I could see I was being taken advantage of and told them to stop everything, that I would take my business elsewhere. They still charged me $345.00 for taking the (rusted) brake lines out. I will never go back to this place and suggest you dont either!

Started going here after I moved to Kenosha from MN. I have dealt with shadey mechanics in MN, all the way to IL. I would have to say, this shop does it right. Great atmosphere, fantastic job(s) well done, and outstanding guidance on preventative maintenance. They are not out to destroy your wallet, instead theyre out to ensure you have a car to get your children to and from work. Safe and reliably. Theyve never steered me wrong, and for that I am glad to go here every time.

Ive had my vehicle serviced twice now with Daves. My first experience was replacing the mufflers on my dual exhaust 2007 Pontiac Grand Prix. The second service was a front brake job with pads and rotors on the same vehicle. BOTH times I was treated courteously and both times the material and labor charges were well beyond fair. Daves staff is knowledgeable, accommodating and the pricing is great. I would highly reccomend.

I brought in my Smart Car to have a flex pipe fixed. The guys at Daves were honest and said theyd never worked on a Smart before. However they repaired it completely. The price for my repair was less than a third that I was quoted by Carmax where Im financing my vehicle. I have the extended warranty but my exhaust problem was NOT covered. Customer service at Daves is EXCELLENT! Great group of guys there. Open and honest about prices and durations of repair expected. All my expectations were met and exceeded! After living with an obnoxiously loud exhaust on my SAAB for too long, I took it in to Daves and was given a very fair estimate and was told that due to cancellations, I was able to have the work performed immediately! All the guys at Daves are great and very professional and respectful. I would and will definitely be back for more work done on other vehicles in the future and would advise anyone else to do so as well.

The price is always right, the service is fast, the staff is helpful in helping you decide on any options you could gave. The tech added an extra hanger to help prevent my new muffler from falling off the same way the old one did. If you have a loud car, theyll make it quiet. If you have a quiet car you want louder, theyll do that as well.

Never steer me wrong. Brought my truck in, engine disassembled, tore up, after a few times of them getting bad engines Dave himself guaranteed that I would get my truck back in better condition than it was sent over there, and I did. They made sure I have a loaner vehicle for when I needed it to get back and forth to work and to bring my children to their specialists. Happy with my muffler, but changed my oil too. After the oil light kept coming on, I had my regular guy check out out. He said they used the wrong viscosity. Probably not going to damage my van, he says theyre pretty flexible, but shouldnt we talk about that?

Worst service ever! Told me they could diagnose the problem by looking at the car. When I brought my car in they said they had to keep it at put it on the lift. I asked what their availability was for an appointment and was told it depended on when he could get parts. I dropped my car off on Tues morning. The parts camein on Thur. They had a cancellation for Friday and said they would work on my car. When I got there Fri they told me it would be The following Tues. They had my car for a week. They never called to tell me how long it would take. When I picked it up there was grease all over the white floor mat and dirt on the seat. I asked them why they put me off til til Tues and the guy said well we were busySo I guess all those reviews where people get their cars in right away must be getting put in front of others.I would never go back there again!

Had a power steering leak (return line bad) they got us in right away in the morning, everything fixed up quick. Great price and professional employees. Will go to again if I need service that is beyond my skills.

I took my 2008 dodge caravan in 3 weeks ago for a muffler, I was expecting the noise to go away, my car still loud. I wonder if they even did the muffler cause they were nice and didnt charge me labor, I was repeat customer and enjoy the work that is done here in the past, but I wonder if my muffler job was even done my car sounds the same way going in and coming out. Now, Im going to Rhodes to pay 200.00 to quiet the muffler. Idk, this sucks.

I cant even begin to describe how impressed I am with Daves! I have had a slew of car problems for essentially all of 2015 and I was taking my car to different places every time, and each time I left feeling worse when I was already in a bad situation! I needed exhaust work done and was referred to Daves and I couldnt believe how great the estimate was! Considering my bad luck with vehicles though the next day my car decided not to start. I had to get a tow with them and a new starter but even with all of this including the exhaust work I barely spent what I anticipated! They treated me with the utmost kindness and where always pleasant! I cannot give this place and the people who work there enough praise! So happy I ended up at Daves!

Well they must be getting too busy for their own good. They have done great exhaust work for me in the past, so naturally i come back when i need other work done. Dropped off my car at 8am when they opened to have them fix an exhaust leak near my front wheels and install a control arm bushing kit. At 530pm they call me to tell me my mufflers in the rear need replacing, and they cant get to it today. And i would have to reschedule my bushings to be done because itll take 5 hours. I said what about the exhaust leak in the front? Oh just the rear mufflers need replacing. I made an appointment for a reason, I need my car to get to work every day like 90% of everyone does, so not only did they inconvenience me for a full day, they expected me to do it again. What was the point of making an appointment? There is a leak at the manifold/downpipe gasket by the way, which is what i asked for them to fix. Wasting my time once is all it takes.

Dropped by for an estimate on some loud muffler noise expecting to have to come back for an appointment since they appeared to be busy. Squeezed me in right away and charged less than I expected. 30 minutes later I was out of there.

Wasted my time and gas. Told me to come to the shop, drove a bit just to get sent away cause of some rain, should’ve never told me to come out in the first place. Invest in a rain coat and do the one job you had.
