I love LA fittens. They are careing and nice I like the way they take the time to answer questions that you may have and the have a great customer service

It is a big place with everything you need. Only thing is that the floors are never cleaned or at least thats what it looks like. I still go every week just wish they would clean the floors up.

This was my first time back in a year due to covid and I like using the pool and hot tub. I did see personal wiping down the exercise equipment and the locker rooms were very clean and some of the lockers were tied off to encourage distancing. I was very impressed.

When you have a moment, could you please help me? The LA Fitness in Keller TX hosts water aerobics in the pool. However, they leave no lanes open for lap swimming even though the pool has plenty of room to share. Is a way for all of us to be able to share the pool at the same time? This morning, there were 13 participants in water aerobics taking up 4 lanes. I asked the front desk and the instructor if we were able to share the pool and they both agreed. However, the pool participants were very rude and wouldn’t consider moving to leave one open lane. I’m not sure what the policy is across different clubs, but this is the first time at any LA Fitness that I’ve experienced such a class that was unwilling to share. I’ve been a member with LA Fitness for at least a year and have visited your clubs across Texas and the US when traveling for work. I usually try to avoid these class times but occasionally work or other obligations limit the times at which I’m able to workout and it would be wonderful to know there is always a chance to share the pool. Thank you in advance for your consideration and help!

Great LA fitness location with a variety of equipment. This isnt a hardcore bodybuilding/powerlifting gym so there isnt deadlifting platforms (you can still deadlift). However, it is way better than any other large chain fitness gym (ex. Planet Fitness).

Pool heater was out for a while. A/c in yoga room was out for a while. Staff is bare bones. If ypu dont mind these things, the price is great.

LA fitnesses Keller.Please be careful of your wallet in this gym. Make sure there is a padlock on your locker. Do not keep any valuables in your locker. There is a thief who is smartly robbing wallets.

As an aspiring triathlete, my training is focused, and I have certain requirements. One of those important requirements is having a lap pool to train in.I am pleased to report that L.A. Fitness meets and/or exceeds my expectations across the board! In terms of facility availability, equipment selection, variety of workout options, cleanliness and hygiene, and for a shockingly reasonable price, too!I have previously been a member of LifeTime Fitness in other locations, and while they have nice extra amenities, they also charge handsomely for them. L.A. Fitness has plenty of bells and whistles, too, but no extra thrills, just a great workout for a great price with helpful, personable, and knowledgeable staff. A special thank you to Caleb for all your help, sir!

No soap or paper towels in the bathroom. Perhaps one of the 5 gym staff sitting at their desks -who don’t greet you when you walk in- could do an occasional bathroom check. Machines are wack. Y’all have 6 different brands of gym equipment, my guess is y’all bought the cheapest of each. LA Fitness in Arlington beats this gym by a streeeeetch. I’d rather commute there than waste my time here

Mask seem to be optional they have cleaning supplies for you to wipe down the machines. People seem to clean up after themselves

We left 24HR because of poor equipment maintenance, not very clean, loud awful music and a seeming indifference from the reception to management. LA Fitness is worth the extra 10 minute drive. It’s always being cleaned and the staff responds when broken equipment is reported. Their pool is also much cleaner and had 4 lap lanes instead of two. It was well worth the change!

Best place to practice racquetball.

Great atmosphere! Loved working out here when I did (go to school gym instead) but careful of the seller. They WILL persist you to pay 3x as much and give you a soap opera story.

Friendly staff and the gyms seems to be clean.

People leave bags anywhere on the floor and don’t care about wearing masks while working out. Staff doesn’t do anything about it.

Dont fall for the trainer scam they are running. I entered into a 1 year training agreement that is highly regrettable. My trainer canceled on me most days and the days he showed, he would cut the session short by 5 to 8 minutes out of a 30 min session. I had to take time off due to injurys sustained during my 1 on 1 sessions. Even when providing a doctors note, this location refused to put my account on hold till I recovered. On top of my injury and multiple missed sessions they still would not put my account on hold or even offer a reasonable solution. They offered a great sales pitch, then just charged my card. Brenna and the rest of the staff have been the best at ruining my gym experience. Gym is clean for the most part, just stay clear of their sales and training staff. They are no different then a shady used car salesman

Good place, decent staff. Should have kept Stormy Morgan. He was the most honest/helpful person in the place, and he sought to know you as a person. Otherwise, most staff here express minimal interest in you (regarding health/fitness, satisfaction, etc.).

Love my gym!!! Most convenient locations

This is a good gym. However, I would think twice before giving them my bank account information or debit card. I have had 2 unauthorized charges from them. They corrected one and the other came in this morning, but it has thrown my bank account through some hoops. They’ve promised I’ll be compensated; However, I haven’t seen anything yet.

What a joke, no one wears a mask and the workers do not care about enforcing any rules. No one cleans the benches or equipment

They dont respect the distance, all the people are using all the machines together. Most people are dirty they dont clean the machines before and after using them the staff dont tell people to respect the distance. that is not right . Every day there are more and more sick with corona virus. be aware.

Despite the fact that the club is aging, it is still a nice, affordable place to work out. Its clean and there are lots of machines and lots of room.(UPDATE Fall 2018) They have remodeled the gym and have replaced many of the machines with new ones. The number of stars I give hasnt changed, though. I have a few, small complaints:1) The shower area is basically unchanged and REALLY needs an upgrade.2) They removed the clock over the door that leads from the locker room to the bathroom. I know that is a small complaint, but placing the clocks where they LOOK GOOD is not the same thing as placing the clocks where they are useful. If you are standing in front of a mirror, there are no clocks within view.3) The area where the stretch out mats used to be were replaced with a Trainer Area. I dont mind that so much, but now there are no really good places for the stretching mats. And there is that whole area that used to be a juice bar that now has cheap chairs and tables that no one seems to use. Why not remove those tables and chairs and use that fairly large area as a mat area? Lots of people like to use mats!

I have been coming to this gym for about 2 years. This location has a good variety of machines along with a decent size free weight section. Also the kids club is a nice addition with workers that respect the child and parent. My issues with this particular location is the cardio equipment and cleanliness. Every other elliptical is lose with rough moment, wont power on, or features are out of order. Also the floor and equipment have dust bunnies all around and dirt build up on the mats. This location could easily raise the average rating by simply hiring more hands to clean and repairing/replacing equipment.

Recently signed up here, good gym, friendly staff, alot of useful equipment and amenities, I would give it more stars but this gym is FILTHY! I mentioned it to a sales associate when I signed up and the response I got was that the cleaning guys were fighting with each other. Still have not seen any improvement. Bring tons of bleach with you when you come.

Nice gym. Staff is friendly. Plenty of machines. Beware! The lockers in the locker room are not secure! They can be pulled open enough even when locked for someone to steal your personal belongings. Keep your stuff in a gym bag and keep it with you while your working out. Knocked off one star because they are a little expensive compared to other offerings, otherwise nice gym.

Is there a legitimate reason (sars-cov-2 is not a legitimate reason) why this gym didnt open up on May 18th when it was allowed to? Manager needs to wake up.

All workout equipment are not organized. U have to look for leg and arm equipment all over the gym it waste lot of time. In L.A fitness west 7 everything is organized so u know which line is for arm, chest and legs and back

Clean and modern equipment, relatively clean locker rooms, safety issues arent quite taken seriously (like the loose railing entering the whirlpool after three notifications of management). The monthly deals are very good and a good value especially for those with business travel. Not a five star facility like LIFE FITNESS, but without the five star monthly either--

Not a bad gym. But absolutely horrible front desk staff. Been going for 2 years and I think they’ve said bye to me as I leave maybe 10 times? Very unfriendly and unprofessional. But I go to be healthy not to converse. So can’t complain to much. But from working in gyms for a long time and that’s one thing that’s has been a priority for the staff. Just makes you it a better experience.

The gym looks nice after the renovations but the operation manager isnt very nice to brown people. He seems to enforce rules for certain people. Have you ever heard of rubber barbells breaking the racquetball court floor? Oh and you cant walk thru the gym with your child. How is that rule enforced when sales counselors are showing a family the gym?

Unfortunately, this gym is not requiring all members to wear a mask. I walked in and saw 3 people not wearing a mask while the employees do nothing. I could understand that maybe the employees are not trained to enforce this rule, but why have it if the gym employees wont do anything about it? Nobody seems to care at this gym.

Great gym, been going here for a while. The only complaint is that they are constantly missing handles for 1 of the two back (lat pull) machines. They also need to update their treadmills, as they shake really loudly from how old they are. Most of the staff is very friendly and they do a very good job of keeping the place to a high standard of cleanliness. This is my favorite and only LA location I go to and would recommend it to anyone. Pricing is fair and competitive with any other mega gyms in its category.

Great place to workout. Friendly people, the amenities are good. You dont like the sun you may use the indoor pool.

When they close down for remodeling and we had to go visit the other la fitness in the meantime made me appreciate this place more for what they have that the other places didnt. I love the new equipment and decor. I just wish their was a dryer or steamroom but I knew that before I sign up so no biggie. Keep it up

The gym was noticeably clean and the equipment was well organized. Unfortunately, the gym lacked a Precor EFX 546i elliptical that I needed for a cardio workout. This is why I did not give this establishment 5 stars. In order to make some use of my trip, I decided to jump in the shower early, since the gym was closing early on Christmas Eve. And while I was showering, a fight broke out in the free-weights section. As I was leaving, I noticed local police had arrived to take statements from the parties involved in the altercation and witnesses.

I have a great orientation since the first date I pass by there to see the facilities and hows work. Nick and Christian offer different deals and finally find a great one to me and my family. Pretty clean facilities and friendly people always available to help and find the way to make your journey much easier!! I love this place and the peeps whos taking care of me and my family too. I Recommended 100%!!

Love la fitness. Hate this location. Go to the grapevine one.* the ac isnt working since the remodel. Been around a month.* the new floors in the locker room are 1 in tile with tons of grout. Not kept clean and looks and feels disgusting on your feet.* they didnt plumb the cold water right so the showers are warm on the best dayEssentially, if you go here, expect this building to be like permanent hot yoga room that gets cleaned once a week.Try your best to avoid heat stroke.

Love this LA fitness! The staff is always friendly and my kids enjoy going to the kids club. I was a member of Keller Point for years but love all the machines and free weights here much better. For the price, I enjoy it

Cheap Membership for all that they offer. Staff was sort of inviting.However .... equipment is always broken, and they make getting out of your membership as difficult as possible. I was transferred out of state where there are no L.A. Fitnesses. I called and asked them to please cancel my membership. They did not. What they did was send me an email that was sent to my spam folder asking me to print out a document, fill it out and physically mail it back to them. I cant blame the local staff for this policy, but it seems corrupt for a company to make it as difficult for someone to cancel a membership. When they had the ability to refund me my money to for the 3 months I assumed my membership was canceled, they did not, and made it seem like they where going to break the rules simply by allowing me to cancel over the phone. I was told that I was not entitled to my money, since they did not cancel the membership when I requested it.Decent gym, horrible company. Will join 24 hours when I return home.

It was a ok place to visit. It is really quiet and everyone looks as if they are forced to be there. I went upstairs and walked on the treadmill. I think the staff should be more involved with the members but hey. I was just a visitor

I signed up for a membership years ago and paid the $200 sign up fee but that got me a very low monthly fee. I cancelled my membership about 8 months ago thinking I would use my home gym.That didnt work and I went back in to see if I could have my old rate back. Well, you can do that if you do it within 6 months. Understandable. I left to explore other options and I got a call. The guy I talked to made it a point to talk to the manager and they made a special deal that allowed me to come back on under my old terms.They were completely professional when I cancelled and when they let me sign back up. I have never been double charged or bothered in any way.There is always someone cleaning the machines, they hand out free stuff from time to time and everyone seems pretty friendly.I just wish they opened earlier on weekends.

Im actually a little shocked that this gym has more than 3 stars. The staff from front desk to GM are not concerned about your experience at all as there is no emphasis on the environment created for members. Youre a number, please dont mention anything other than how pretty the gym is because we arent very versed in addressing customer concerns. Yes, the sauna is inside the dressing rooms but even basic undergarments or a towel should be a requirement. I went to multiple locations and the basketball courts are terrible - dead spots, warped boards, filthy. I have yet to find a good court. Ive been told, why dont you try this location, why dont you try that location. Well, I wouldnt buy entire loaf of moldy bread in hopes of finding one piece to eat. The childcare has ZERO security. You basically drop your kid in and as long as the kids come to you, youd most likely be allowed to take them. It is perpetually crowded - people hovering for a machine Im using and Im forced to hover if I want a machine. I signed up and, after a week of trying to give the chain the benefit of the doubt and an entire week trying to figure out how to cancel, Ive gotten the run-around and am now out that $150 it cost me to sign up with such a terrible gym because of the lack of communication and employee competance. Who would have thought with such a large facility and huge potential to retain members, they could have failed so miserably. Cutting my losses and not having to endure another moment in this half-run place is well worth losing the money.

1 star is too high a rating for this. Having come from background of 8 1/2 years in retail, this has been the worst customer service experience Ive ever been a part of.I was given false information regarding my wifes account (that they would refund the remaining amount) and a promise that was actually later denied (that they would refund the remaining amount on my wifes membership), and never followed up on. I signed up for my own membership on that promise. Now, I want them to at least refund the membership I signed up for on a false premise.I would call and ask for the manager. The person who answered the phone would ask me to recite my whole story, but be powerless to do anything about it. So I would talk with the sales rep, in which I have to recite the whole story again, then they would contact the manager. After calling about a dozen times - I have yet to speak to a manager - they never seem to be available or are just completely unwilling to speak with the customer directly.One time when I called, I recited my whole story and was put on hold and forgotten about - I was told the employee actually went to lunch after putting me on hold.Ive been told to talk to this person or call this number so many times its past ridiculous. Neither the corporate number or the branch has made right on their promise.**UPDATE**: After speaking with the General Manager, the response I got was basically that even though, before I signed any contract, I was promised a refund - they now are reneging on that promise and all they can tell me is That promise isnt on the contract you signed. So evidently, sales can promise anything and not have to follow through with it.**UPDATE 2**: Corporate office was able to speak with a VP and finally they were able to issue a refund. Im thankful that the right thing was done, but because of this experience, the rating for the club stands at 1 star at best.

Clean Gym, not too crowded. My lady friend and I got an awesome workout in! Clean locker rooms with up to date exercise equipment. Staff was awesome too

Big theft problem. 110 bucks stolen from my wallet while I was playing basket for like 15 min! Asked if the have camera near the court just to see if it was viewable. Not one camera on site is what I was told! Im a big fan of La Fitness but after today, Planet Fitness looks better than this! For the money I pay at La, I would atleast think yall would have cameras!!! Thats Just Sorry

Great gym. Hours could be better, but otherwise good. A lot of people play racket ball; theres volleyball on Thursdays too. Equipment is good.

If you can join when theyre running a special it can be a pretty good deal. Large selection of equipment and relatively clean. Ive noticed that when something breaks it has a tendency to stay broken for a long time. But other than that its a good gym.

Not sure whats up with a few of the reviews. I have never encountered a negative experience at LA, on the contrary most of the staff is friendly and helpful and out of all the Gyms I have been to its the cleanest. Yes, you will find sales reps that will try to sell you a membership but thats part of their job. If you dont want to join you simply refuse. You can get a 2 week pass and try it out before making any sort of commitment. Overall I have had a great experience and do recommend this gym to anyone in the area.

Racquetball. Weights. Spinning classes. Yoga classes. Its got it all for a very affordable monthly rate. Parking can be a challenge during peak hours.

Raquetball courts are in great condition. The facility is clean and well kept. Not busy in the morning.

Worst Fitness club Corporation ever. They sell you a contract on Fitness and the gym and personal trainer like a dirty old used car salesman then dont stand by any other agreements, the contracts are Ironclad so good luck getting out of them, they never fulfill any of their promises no matter how many managers district managers or employees you talk to. Even the so called master trainers make appointments & Arrangements and dont show or call you back. This also includes the training management. plain and simple stay far away!!!!!!!

This location is one of the oldest in the region, however you would never know that by how clean and up to date the staff keeps it. Mike the manager was unbelieve, he runs a very tight ship, and is very professional while still being relatable. I NEVER do reviews of this sort, and have had plenty of gym memberships throughout the years, so I feel like I should share my perspective!

Very clean facilities. I came with a friend and really enjoyed the experience. Would recommend a membership here.

-Equipment is good.-Part time staff has bad customer service. Doesnt acknowledge customers as they enter, they are disconnected and uncaring.-Management is good depending on which manager youre dealing with.-Doesnt offer towel service.-Locker rooms and pool is clean.-Daycare is nice, but they dont change diapers. A daycare that doesnt change diapers is like a treadmill thats makes you fat.Ultimately, purge your useless part timers, they are the dregs of this location. Replace them and this place will turn around.

Been a member for awhile now. Friendly staff. Clean everywhere but the pool. Water is clear but pool needs a scrubbing. Its a shame. They are non responsive to complaints. Trying to convince my brother to switch but they are very close to his house.

Decent gym.. good equipment and clean facilities but the hours on the weekend are terrible.. 5am-11pm on weekdays is perfect but 8-8 on Saturday and Sunday is just no good for my schedule... wish they had the same hours every day

Decent Gym. I wish they would open earlier than 8 on Saturday. I think the price could be better with the 2 new gyms that have opened nearby, this one is a bit overpriced.

Great facility. Has everything one can expect from a fitness facility. The pluses are kids care, 25m heated swimming pool and dry sauna. Not sure why it gets 3.8 stars only.

The only reason I’m giving this place 4 stars instead of 5 is bc they desperately need to update their cardio equipment. But their kids club is amazing and the employees actually interact with the kids. The other employees are all very nice and helpful I love this gym.

Manager is rude and didnt even make the time or effort to walk 3 steps to the front desk to let me know what she was telling her sales/customer service staff to communicate to me about an issue with my account (when I was so close I could hear). I guess I wasnt deserving of her 30 seconds of attention.

Great aqua aerobics instructors. Clean. Friendly. Needs some maintenance. Machines,clock in pool area. Been going 3 weeks and more and more machines marked out of service.

Decent gym. Can be very crowded during normal times, but not enough to effect workouts. Some machines have issues pretty regularly.

They make it very convenient to sign up with anyone on any day but a nightmare in hell to cancel service and they use deceptive practices. Two instances of this but will mention the latest. Have family plan with 4 people. Needed to stop two memberships temporarily I might add., Asked what needed to be done so I do not need to pay an initiation fee to turn them back up later. Person at front desk says you can freeze membership for a $10 fee each member. Specifically asked is this a one time fee. Clearly told yes. One month later freeze fee is still there. Called in and told oh no this is recurring monthly. What fool would do this. Asked how to fix this, oh you have to call corporate. Total waste of time. Well canceling entire plan now. Asked Corporate to cancel plan. Oh you have to go into local branch and do this or mail a form into Corp. ok. Go in on Saturday to local branch. Oh you need to come Monday to Friday when the operations manager is in. Really, so I can walk right over to this agent here and sign up now? Now you know how a California owned business operates......”You can walk in any time you like.....but you may never leave!” Now that I’ve finally escaped you will not see this customer back. Thanks to google maps we can share the fun with millions of potential new customers. Perhaps this will save some folks a headache.

I was a guest attending with someone else. Based on the way we were greeted by the young lady at the front desk, I dont think I would ever consider signing up permanently. The facility was nice however. I just got a bad impression about how the staff treats their customers and it wasnt good.

Awful with repairs. The Air Conditioning has been out for 2 weeks in the classroom, with 100 degree days in Aug. This does happen every summer but they just don’t seem to care to fix it or a 1990s stereo in that room. Many of us have been members for 10 years or more and are getting fed up! Just fix this AC already!!!

I dont care about the service. I want a clean gym, and they provide a clean gym with all the bells and whistles. I have never asked for help and only focus on my workout, I love it.
