Fitness 2000 has changed to blink fitness last year and its a really great layout and the training department is really good....

Place is so cheap for their fee. A person barely even notices the money gone. Nice equipment.

Relatively clean, bright and the people leave you alone, and still reasonably priced. They have fast wifi which I stream netflix over everytime I come and have okay channels on the TV, despite the one time there was a channel with an incredibly graphic sex scene. Pretty good overall.

I love their classes!Body Pump & Yoga are getting me through life, right now.

Do not join this gym their cancellation policy is garbage and way more work than that gym is worth. First off you can’t just cancel your membership there at the gym they use an agency that you have to call. They require 30 days notice which isn’t too bad or over the top but here’s the kicker the gym requires a certified letter sent to ABC Financial. This is not something ABC Financial needs; this is what the gym mandates be done. I cant believe this is what I have to do to cancel my gym membership.

Listen to all the one star reviews. I didnt, and was here for a year.$10/month was too good to be true-It started off fine, the gym is decent with your basics.The problem is leaving. I sent certified mail, called, everything I was instructed to cancel, yet havent been.I have had my debt rack up to $143 since I canceled 4 months ago?They harass you with robo-calls and sell your debt to debt collectors, this is a shady company with an impossible cancellation route. (Nobody in store can help cancel, it must be certified mail)Thanks for racking up fake charges and trying to tank my credit, Fitness 2000. I hope to see you in hell. :-)

I just needed a summer membership between semesters so I decided to go with the month by month payment method for two months, but I was worried Id be charged for the maintenance fee for a short two month period, so I emailed the area manager who then cleared the fee for me and was kind enough to cancel my membership through him.As for the actual gym, its spacious, clean, staff is polite, the trainers seem to really enjoy their job, and there is plenty of free weights for a nearly unbeatable price.

For your own good skip this company they purposely wait in order to charge you late fees the gym is not worth the trouble the company has bad customer service no one ever know anything so please dont waste your time. I will give them a -5 if I could thats how poorly this company is never ever sign up here unless you have money to spare the price they give you is never the full price so be careful their dangerous with your debt or credit card.

Please send in one of the following: New lease agreement in the member’s name signed by member and lessor. New utility hook up or utility bill in member’s name. Newly issued driver’s license. Copy of a one way international plane ticket with a copy of a visa or green card. PCS orders (boot camp and basic training not accepted).

Before signing up, realize to cancel after your two year commitment, you have to send a cancellation request via certified mail to ABC Financial Services and you must give a 30 day notice which doesn’t start till they receive the letter. And during this time you’re still responsible for any billing. They make it purposely difficult to cancel after you’ve fulfilled your part of the agreement. Consider another gym before these guys. Bad business practices and beware!

It is very clean and theres lots of space. Nobody is on top of anyone.

I have to echo what a previous reviewer, Jonathan Talbot, said a year ago. Sorry we didnt see his review prior to signing up. I called today to cancel my wifes account. They put me on hold, then gave me a number to some ABC Financial Group in Arkansas. So I called them expecting them to take care of the cancellation for me. Finally, they tell me I have to put my cancellation request in writing and send it to them via certified mail, then upon its arrival, wait 30 days before itll actually be cancelled. I couldnt believe what I was hearing, I asked them if they were joking, and then asked to speak to a supervisor. They told me I could but its the actual gym (Fitness 2000) who made this their policy and that they just help manage it and that Id have better luck calling the actual gym. So I then called the gym back, spoke to a regional manager and confronted him about the ridiculousness of his policy. He defended it claiming it was standard among gyms. I told him every gym Ive ever been a part of allows you to simply cancel by phone or in person. Its just crazy they make you jump through all these hoops to get out of a simple gym membership. So, yeah, be sure to read the fine print - theyre going to try to squeeze as many fees out of you as they can. On my way to the post office...

The staff here are very great guys and very experienced. They always motivates you to do your best. Best gym hands down!!!

Do not go here they lie to you about the contracts. A manager confirmed that the salesmen talk to you about the contract that’s 10 dollars a month with anytime cancellation but they switch it up to a different contract that makes it impossible to cancel because abc financial just so they can get a bigger commission. If you can’t afford your bills and have to result to Lying To people you need to find a real job not some 7 dollar an hour commission job.

Impossible to cancel a membership, put people on contracts when theyre told they were month to month. Told to call a company to cancel, who then tells you to send in a certified letter, only receive an email back saying you have to call the club to cancel. Granted it is only $10 a month, you get what you pay for though. I just want to cancel my membership.

Very welcoming, the prices are great and the trainers are great. A lot of nicely up kept machines in here. I would highly recommend this gym.

Great classes and affordable with the package I got in on, wish it was open longer and offered other classes like ballet type exercises at the location I attend--- not a yoga fan. At Peak times you wont find anything to work on, such limits what you can do. I go mainly for the classes offered. But when equipment is available, theres enough to choose on whatever focus areas are of concern. Safe and friendly atmosphere.

Do not join this gym. It’s horrible. And they make it very difficult to cancel. Even though I paid the extra amount to be able to cancel anytime. I’m part of a new gym now and all I have to do is say I’m canceling. Also trainers suck and are way over priced. I would give no stars if I could.

Dont sign your life away at this place. The cancellation policy is horrendous! We are jumping through all kinds of hoops with this ABC Financial Services, Inc. It will take over a month to get the account cancelled AFTER sending multiple forms of documentation by CERTIFIED MAIL! What a hassle, especially for a gym membership. Give me a break! Worst was, the rep told my husband, oh yeah you can cancel any time you want, its no problem. Liar. The contract says that for a month-by-month the customer can cancel, obviously, but the rep didnt give my husband a month-by-month contract. Oh no. My husband ended up signing this awful auto-renewing contract thinking it was month-by-month. In the meantime, they happily take our money from our credit card each month. Awful.

It’s trashy and takes forever to cancel. Spend the extra $20 for a better gym experience at 24 Hour Fitness. You’ll thank me later.

This is the first and only gym Ive been a member of since moving to Fort Worth, TX 1 year ago. Ive only been a member of two gyms in my life, but Fitness 2000 made me feel like I never left home. All of the staff are friendly at the door and are willing to help out with any questions or concerns you may have. When youre new, they take notice of you and make sure you are comfortable and know what is going on. I generally dont like to be the new person, but everyone made me feel really comfortable when I started here. This is the first gym that I look forward to going to instead of looking for excuses not to.

The customer service is awful. It seems like everyone there is a manager at their convenience. The equipment is old and beaten down. The only good thing about this place is that it is cheap! I used to go to this gym and they were very strict about having your card to enter. They can easily look you up with you phone number or your DL but THEY WONT!

The new heritage trace location manager has made the gym gone down hill. Doesn’t care about his job and is very disrespectful. Maybe less trying to get girls numbers and do your job. I would not recommend this location to anyone. Save your money while you can, that’s all I’ll say about this gym.

Im back at Fit2k after experiencing other gyms. The staff is extremely friendly and helpful. They keep current and up to date with new workout classes. The prices are cheaper than all of the gyms in the surrounding area. Very clean with convenient hours.

If we could give this place a negative amount of stars I would. We haven’t stepped in this gym at any location for the past three years and we have been trying to cancel our membership for THREE YEARS. To cancel you have to WRITE A HANDWRITTEN LETTER a countless amount of times explaining that you now live 20-30 miles out of range of their gym and why you don’t want to be there anymore. THIS IS A MONEY PIT. They have renewed the membership twice without asking and when we made efforts to cancel it they come up with a ridiculous excuse including the letter ordeal after we have paid over $500 here. I am this close 👌🏼 to taking this to legal matters now. Just don’t go here, you can find better.

I have been a member of Fitness 2000 for more than 6 months now. The gym is fantastic with top of the line equipment. Cool instructors and always clean. Due to work issues, I have recently relocated and I had to submit my cancellation. I have been a member of several gyms over the years and without a doubt, Fitness 2000 is the one I will miss.

We love this place! My husband and I both pay $8 a month and that includes access to their childcare. The machines are in great condition, though if you go during peak hours you will probably have to wait for certain machines, though this is true of all smaller gyms. It is always clean, even the restrooms and the showers, which we use every time we go in and have never had an issue (the water gets so hot and it is amazing!). Honestly, there have been a rare few times where we have had to stop in just for a quick shower and they dont mind. The childcare staff has already been veru friendly and has taken great care of our 1 year old each time we have dropped him off.

I started working out at Fitness 2000 Gym about 3 years back. Since then, I have dropped 4 sizes and look better. All trainers are encouraging, determined and really give you that personal attention. So glad I found them !

Do not I repeat do not sign up for this gym membership. 2 years ago I signed up for a membership. In over the 2 year span, you can count how many times Ive been to the gym. I called to cancel since I wasnt using the gym and advised that I would need to buy out my contract.... plus you must submit your cancellation within 30 days.... plus you must mail it in as certified mail.... so now im out of about $70 more plus using snail mail... these are the loopholes they get you in so they can get more money out of you.... please do not go to this gym... there are better options trust me.... you will regret it.

We were duped like so many others. Added my wife to my account and was told explicitly that is was a month to month membership. Went to cancel 6 months later and was informed that she was locked into a 27 month contract. Called management to explain the mistake and their answer was, Sorry, she signed the contract. Avoid this place!Also noticed how many fake reviews they have. Look at almost any 5 star review they have. Most are fake. Pathetic!

Ask for Chris and try it out. He will be straight up about everything. If you become a member, he will make sure you’re doing good if he sees you. If you have any questions about your account, he can help. The trainers are pretty well knowledgeable compared to the other locations.

You cannot beat the cost of membership. Its not the biggest gym and can be crowded but great price. The biggest selling point was not charging extra for child care like other gyms in the area. For big families, thats a huge added bonus.

Fit2k is a good place to work out if you are looking for something cheap. Im giving 3 stars because I am a mom who works all day and the only time I am able to go is when I pick up my son from school at 3. I was basically told I wasnt allowed to workout at that time because their daycare wasnt open until 4. So makes it a little inconvenient to go there everyday like I want too. I understand liability and sorta understand why kids cant sit at the table in the front but if thats the case then you might want to find someone to be in the daycare after school is let out. My son is old enough and knows better then to get up from the table so Im not seeing why thats an issue for an hour until the daycare opens if yall dont want to hire someone to be there earlier. Other then that its a great place to work out with great equipment.

Getting out of the contract is extremely difficult! Certified letters...statements...a neighbor had to get an attorney. Please just trust me and walk away it is such a long agonizing headache. There are much better gyms that are just as close. It’s so congested that it’s hard to get a the workout you plan because someone is on the equipment.

Just be sure to read the fine print with a contract. I desired to cancel my membership after 2 years. My business travel has prevented me from using the gym as regularly as I planned. Behold my surprise to find out that I have to pay for 2 more months because they require 60 days to cancel--and it has to be in writing--and it has to be sent via snail mail. Seriously! In this day and age with cell phones, internet, and e-mail, you need to send them a letter via the US postal service to communicate your intent to cancel??!! This was not explained to me at any time until now. Im sure it is in the fine print, somewhere, but this is a blatantly dishonest tactic to claim two more months of fees after you no longer require membership at the gym and to make cancelling as inconvenient as possible. I have no problems with the gym itself, but wish that the personnel there were more open about this. Since they are not, they are part of this dishonest scheme. Wont make this mistake again! Not a happy customer right now!

Been a member here for 4 or 5 years. They staff has never really been good and the place is always dirty, machines are covered in dust and grime. But it’s close and cheap. So I always clean my machines before I use them and after. So this week they no longer have the basket of towels and bottles of cleaner... there’s just a few machines that have rigged cup holders attached with a spray bottle and 1 towel. So I ask the front desk for another towel so I can dry the machine after I clean it. They said no, the policy has changed they do not give out towels any longer, I need to bring my own. So, I get it...but for ciustomer service sake he could have given me the towel this time and asked me to bring my own next time. But he was rude. When I asked to cancel my family membership he gave me a small piece of paper with a number to call. When I called I was told I could only cancel for myself. After I explained that no one signed a contract and they are all on my credit card she well then, you need to send a certified letter to cancel... Why couldn’t the gym staff just hand me a piece of paper that said that and save me 30 mi items of my life. Seriously, if you’re reading this run to any other gym. This place sucks!!! It’s cheap for a reason.

This place sucks they keep charging my account for miscellaneous charges and cant give any explanation as to what is going on. They make up a different reason every time, tell me to call a number cause they cant do anything about it. They have no problem taking your money but cant give it back. I have had so many issues with this place it makes me regret ever setting foot in the door. I am so frustrated with this place they have caused me so much stress it is ridiculous. ANYWHERE IS BETTER THAN HERE trust me. With the amount of money they have been miscellaneously charging me I could have been going to Lifetime

As far as working out at the facility, I have no problems. What I do have a problem with is I have tried to cancel my membership several times and am STILL being charged. I have called the facility on Heritage Trace, was asked to send a letter to ABC Financial and cancel, did that and just recieved another email saying I owe money for an account I have tried to cancel for months. If you are a member here becareful, if you ever try to cancel it will be a battle.

I am giving 4 stars because this gym has all the basic equipment needed and several different group fitness classes for only $10 per month. However, it needs updating and classroom for group fitness is too small. Treadmills are noisy, seats and padding on machines torn but useable. I was told the yearly membership fee due, which is due 60 days from joining, will go towards future upgrades. The Beach St location just got upgrades and looks fairly nice.

Just FYI look at the accounts who are giving positive reviews. They dont live in DFW and theyre not real. Look at the ones giving bad reviews.... Yeah those are real .This is the hotel California of gyms . You can sign up when you want but you can never leave. Good luck cancelling your membership. The gym will sign you up but they then turn it over to a garbage firm so theyre not responsible for cancelling it and obviously they make it as difficult as possible so they can nickel and dime you as long as possible.Join a different gym youll be happier for the experience.

Scam artists at its finest. Keep your money go home build your own little gym or go to a reputable company. My wife has been struggling with some medical issues we provided the medical letter signed by the doctor and they still won’t let her cancel the membership.

I love love my very small gym. Its where everyone knows everyone. It truly feels like a small family. Staff is professional and kind and the trainers are so knowledgable and willing to lend a hand at any time. Ive worked with a trainer named Chris. He loves his job and takes his time to explain why he has you do the exercise a certain way. He wants you to learn. I give this only four stars because I think they could have some modern equipment or more updated. But literally thats me just nit picking! Love my gym!

Decent neighborhood gym at an affordable price. This location is a bit small, and the equipment is starting to show its age. There really arent any amenities, just cardio and weight lifting machines. Could be cleaner as well, but its convenient and will do for someone looking at a gym other than 24hr Fitness.

Ive been going to this gym for two years and I love it. The staff is very helpful and the equipment is in good shape. It does not have all the bells and whistles some other huge gyms, but it does have everything you need to get in shape FAST. So I would highly recommend to try it out.

Ive been working with trainers at Fitness 2000 for 3 years now...they apply custom, non-gimicky approaches to fitness, constantly monitoring your progress and goals, then tailoring your workouts. Now working out of their own facility, the trainers have all the tools to provide excellent training. Simply top notch...!

I had incredibly unprofessional experiences with staff and management, and canceling my membership was simply a nightmare. I really hope they figure it out, but I’m never coming back for sure. Hopefully others will have a better experience.-now after reading reviews, I see I’m not the only one. Smh

This club is terrible and extremely cheap. They choose (fitness 200) when they hired ABC Financial Service to only allow ABC financial to accept only certified mail as the way to cancel a membership. I spoke with one the representives with ABC financial and she informed me that they offer email and phone cancellation, but Fitness 2000 choose only to do certified mail. This business is a joke and is borderline Criminal with making members go through hoops just so they can get a extra months payment on membership. Instead of doing the right thing and pay a little bit more to ABC financial and allow them to accept email and phone cancellations. I would never recommended this place to anybody and don’t wast your time with this gym

The trainers at Fitness 2000 are extremely knowledgeable, educated and nationally certified. The experience is completely personalized and individualized for each clients needs. If you are not into the big box gym scene and want to see good results with friendly people, go to Fitness 2K.

DONT GO HERE! Their cancellation policy is inconvenient and unethical. They make you get forms notarized and sent by certified mail. Of course they dont tell anyone this upfront or else no one would bother signing up. Its rather insecure of them to make it so difficult to cancel a membership. Other gyms have caught up with the times and taken a more customer 1st approach. I would give zero stars if that was an option.

Always crowded, equipment is worn even though members pay equipment fees. And the cancellation policy is the worst I have seen. Requiring you to pay and mail a written letter requesting a cancellation and explaining why you were dissatisfied. This process takes 30 days and you are responsible for any fees charged to your account in this cancellation process.

Fitness 2000 is the best gym ive been ever! Super friendly staff. Open at 4:30 in the morning so nobody has an excuse to not get in at some point in the day. Cleaner than 90% of the fitness centers in the area, and they have showers, free lockers, and free classes! I recommend anybody try this gym out.

Its an ok gym, has the right equipment to help reach goals. This was the first gym I ever signed up for. Im giving it 2 stars because of the experience I had with my membership. I signed up for this gym 3 years ago and was excited to join and the girl who signed me up put me in for a two year contract instead of a one year membership like I requested and believed I was signing up for. Because when you sign up for this gym, the company ABC Financial who you are referred to when you want to cancel makes it next to impossible to end your membership. It took me a year to find out that I had a two year membership because they never gave me any papers and it only involved a lot of electronic signatures. Within that year, my sister was suffering from this undiagnosed illness that resulted in her getting sick easily whenever she went to the gym with me (I signed us both up) and when I tried to cancel her membership since she could no longer go, I had to go through the 30 day letter in writing excuse that ABC gives all its members. Not just that but my membership (again, contract) made it next to impossible to cancel. In the fine print on the website where you can check your membership (the gym never informed me of this site which is why it took me so long to realize it was a two year contract), it came very close to saying that my sister had to be physically disabled with proof in order to cancel. My sister literally had to be either hit by a bus or dead to cancel. I made the most of those two years despite all the money I lost when my sister couldnt come with me (it was around $30 each at the time) and havent signed up for another gym after this experience. This is a toxic business who only wants your money. NEVER SIGN ANYTHING UNTIL YOU CAN READ THE FINE PRINT otherwise you may get the worst deal like I did. Also, the north beach location was much nicer inside and a better atmosphere than this location. This location always seemed depressing compared to the north beach location which is why I always drove there the extra 10 minutes to take classes and workout with friends.

So I was looking to join a new gym in the area. I decided to look at the reviews first. Everyone seems to have the same problem, not being able to cancel and guys working at the gym are dogs. But looking at the good reviews, it seems they are all fake. I click on the reviewers account and they usually don’t live in the area, give 5 stars to every company, and review companies that are all similar ( tru lawns, exterminators, bail bonds, and foundation and home repairs. Like every single one gave reviews to the exact same companies. I think it’s very low of a company to buy reviews or make them up ( not sure what they are doing here) . Guess I’ll be going with 24 hour fitness . A little more money, but very worth it, plus only $10 bucks to sign up and they give you a little more time to help pay the first and last month, no initiation.

More than anything else, it is the team spirit in the group fitness program which I love the most. Kudos for the instructors at Fitness 2000 for creating such a good atmosphere and making us feel like a family.

This gym is cheap so affordable for all with necessary equipment needed. They also have classes. However its too small everything is really close together.Trainers arent very friendly or flexible to work with. When you complain to the managers they dont seem to do much about it. I had a trainer and had to give that up as she was not able to work with my schedule at all

Fitness 2K is the place for you if you are searching for passionate people who are ever ready to help you getting fit. Fitness 2K is the best Gym I have ever been. The environment is too good and NO pushy sales people.

I dont particularly like this location. The manager and one of the front desk young men are one of the least personable and smug young people I have ever met. All the do is go pace the gym talking on the phone mean mugging people. Not a hint of humbleness or interpersonal skills. Having been a manager, district manager and business owner myself would suggest these folks act a little more professional and work harder on building those client relationships and greet people or get to know their clients. Im sure they could get a lot more personal training sales or sales period. There is a couple of women there that are at the front desk that are really nice but the management is absent.

Good facility, plenty of equipment with more on the way. Where it will all fit remains to be seen, but Ive seen some very well-stocked gyms in my day that met with nothing but approval.Keep it up, yall! See ya on my next visit!

READ the FINE PRINT. I was under the impression I was signing a month-to-month but now they are telling me I have a 2-year commitment.I cant believe at 32 I havent learned yet that you ALWAYS need to read the fine print, whether it is 2 pages or 22 pages long.

The classes are intense and different every time which is great for the routine. The trainers are encouraging and positive while training and teaching. I love this place!

LOL this gym is comical. They do everything in their power to make it impossible to cancel. The other people who have said that are not joking. They try to nickel and dime you so hard its unreal.A 40 year old man working said he was not allowed to touch the cancellation forms and I had to speak to his GM.Guess what....GM is not here and Id have to make another trip up here to talk to him in person.Oh but wait now I have to call another place and send on a certified letter for the cancellation.Its 2019 idiots, I can order a Tesla online with three button clicks in two minutes time but it takes months to get this gym to cancel a $12 membership?Bunch of clowns. Never sign up for this place. It always smells horrible inside anyways due to lack of cleaning.

You know its kind of sad because I think the gym is great, and the $10/month is a phenomenal price. No complaints about the facility or payments while we were using the gym.But like the others have said before me, this place is a scam. It all should be illegal really what theyre doing.My only hope is someone will see this review prior to signing up and go somewhere else, so they dont make the same mistake I did.Here is my story:Used this gym for 2+ years and it was great. We decided to start doing Camp Gladiator in March, then I realized I forgot to update my payment info for gym payments after my debit card expired. (expired in March, realized this in May, so 2 months behind) This was my fault, and after several calls from ABC Financial I realized that this needed to be fixed. I first called the gym, and then they told me I need to call ABC Financial to cancel. I called ABC Financial on May 26th to pay my balance in full and cancel both of our memberships. I was told I cant cancel over the phone, and I need to send a certified letter in the mail to a PO box in Arkansas stating why we would like to cancel. This is incredibly stupid and one of the worst business practices Ive ever heard, but whatever. I paid my balance over the phone that day (funny you can pay the balance but not cancel over the phone) and within next week sent the certified letter explaining why I wanted to cancel per their request. Note, I requested to pay all membership balances and cancel all memberships in my request.Fast forward to today, June 26th, a full month later. I receive an email stating that my account will be closed once I pay off the remaining balance, which was ~$10. No problem, immediately log in and pay. Then I receive another email stating that my wifes account (which a month earlier I had requested to be paid off and cancelled over the phone, AND sent in official request to be cancelled via mail) had been sent to collections. I call ABC Financial to ask why, and apparently my wifes account had a balance, even though I specifically asked to pay off that balance and cancel the account on 5/26. So they ignored my request to pay this off and cancel the account. They also stated that they sent multiple emails and phone calls to satisfy the account which is a lie, I only provided my email address to them on 6/18 while creating an online account and received 0 emails, also received 0 phone calls after reaching out to them on 5/26. I escalated the situation twice while on the phone, with no help from anyone. Apparently I cant pay the amount on my account because the account has been sent to collections, and they cant reverse it even though it was their fault. Eventually the Supervisor told me that she would call me back once she received more info from her supervisor, and hung up on me before I could ask when I can expect a resolution.So I call the collections company because I didnt trust ABC to call back. The collections company have no record of my account and theyre unable to tell me anything. So I cant pay.So just to recap, Im 55 minutes on the phone in. (and 7 calls total over a month period) Ive talked to 4 people today (3 from ABC, 1 from collections) and Im unable to pay my bill or cancel my account with anyone. This is my 2nd unsuccessful attempt to pay my bill over the phone and cancel my account in addition to a written certified letter, and there is an active request to send my account to collections because of lack of payment. Laughable.This is a scam people. They make it incredibly hard for you to cancel your membership, charge you outrageous late fees. Dont put yourself through this hell. Go elsewhere for your gym.

Scam Artists, The actual Gym is nice, but when it comes to Billing or contract. Total Scam. Read the fine print, and the staff is unwilling to help you when it is ANYTHING about billing. They just tell you a regional person will call you that NEVER calls. DO NOT sign a contract with Fitness 2K. All they care about is getting their $$

Thanks to the staff at Fitness 2000, they have brilliant personal trainer, with a great team. My personal trainer is Kenneth and he is so good he makes me so comfortable. He really knows his stuff and are pretty knowledgeable about sports nutrition too.

Glorified apartment gym. Tiny with very little equipment for much of anything but cardio. Cancellation process requires you to send a certified letter to their billing company, and continue paying for another 30 days.Most gyms make it tough to cancel, but this place is straight up shady. Avoid.

Never going to use/join Fitness 2000 or any small fitness clubs ever again!! you all make people do so much JUST to cancel A membership. You want an explanation and everything in writing. I sent my request to cancel my automatic renewal Via email and Now i have to send it postal Mail! Its Ridiculous!! I paid the rest of my balance I shouldnt have to do anything else. Paying it off should also cancel my automatic renewal as well smh! 😠😒 you all need to come up with a better way to cancel!!!!! ✌🏽

ScDon’t ever join this gym, it’s a scam

Absolutely ridiculous. I am trying to cancel my membership due to moving more than 25 miles away from the gym. I spoke to someone on the phone at ABC Financial (Why can the gym not handle membership cancellations itself?)and she told me to send over a copy of my lease. Nothing was said about needing it to be signed by the member and lessor, which after receiving an email saying the paperwork I sent over was rejected, I was made aware of. The document I sent shows my new address, as well as my name with my signature. Based upon the information I was given over the phone, this was all that was needed. I am very frustrated over this, and just need to cancel my membership because I dont use it anymore, and they will not come up with a solution since they failed to communicate. Horrible customer service, will never step foot in this gym again, and hope that many will read this before they decide to begin a membership at Fitness 2000.

One of my favorite parts about this gym was the environment. I didnt gym shop for long before knowing this is the place that would get my business.The gym and all of their equipment was clean and the staff was very friendly. There was only one very young girl there that looked like she hated her life but showed up on the floor just to get noticed.The initial signup was quick and inexpensive. If you decide to be a member for a yeat, they only charge a $1 fee plus the month charge. So all together to signup, it was $9.61. After two months, you will be charged a yearly maintenance fee of $57 with this year membership so be aware of that and make sure whoever is signing you up is open and honest with the price and the fees.Other than that, no crazy fees or additional addons.This gym is very quaint, small, and does not have a huge selection of machines because it is smaller. But if youre a fan of smaller, more tightknit gym, this is definitely the one to go to.

Beware. I cancelled this membership a year ago and they are continuing to bill me. It is a nightmare to get this resolved and no one seems to be able to help. I will be reporting them to the better business bureau.

I have been a member of fitness 2000 for over a year, and I pay my membership every month on time and never late. Not long ago, I lost my membership card in the gym, and I have asked if anyone ever turn in my membership card at all, and unfortunately no one turn in my membership card. Today (Sunday Afternoon), I tried to use the gym, and the front desk lady didnt let me in because I lost my card. I tried to show my id and my phone number since I am still an active member, and she still didnt let me in unless I pay $10 fee. Honestly, she is very rude about the whole thing, and I was very disappointed because I have been a member for fitness 2000 for over a year, and I never late on my payment at all. I am considering about switching the gym membership right now back to planet fitness.

SCAM— They make it very hard to cancel your membership, even if you’re not in a contract. It will cost you a lot of $$$$. You’re better off paying more for a reputable gym.

The price is right, but it attracts unsavory people. It’s hard to work out when a bunch of loitering teens are trying to instigate an altercation while you work out. Also, the black guy the works the 6-10 shift is a jerk. I’ll probably switch to 24hour fitness. Thank goodness I got the month-to-month.

This gym is just good enough. Its lower cost than a lot of the others in the area and its sufficient to get a good workout. I hate paying a ton for a gym membership so it works for me. The machines are not in great shape and there isnt much of an inventory (only two true ellipticals and one sit-up machine). The Wi-Fi is frustratingly inconsistent and will go out regularly. Also, its pretty small and in the evenings it can get super packed. I tried to convince my wife to let us put our kid in the daycare but she vetoed that, thinking it wasnt clean or well-monitored enough. All that said, its a good deal and its open 24-7 which is awesome.

Group fitness instructors are amazing, gets really crowded at times but is always well kept and clean. I love it

The way they do business is very wrong!!I had a month to month and when I stopped going and paying the sent me to a collection agency.This company is full of it self and its gyms are sub standard.Very dirty and poorly ran.Thats way after 3 visits I stopped going.Now they say because I didnt write a letter to a different company ABC finance that I owe them money.This place needs to be shut down andNever alowall to operate under a different name.

2April2018. I​​ve been a member for a couple of weeks here now: the equipment is fine, with a good selection for any level athlete, as well as a large yoga/dance type room. The parking lot is large with plenty of room for everyone.​ The reason Im giving a low score is ​because when I joined I was under the perception it was a Christian based organization ​which​ really attracted​ me​. Although when ​I​ work out ​I ​​​co​ntinue to ​hear rap genre musi​c with lyrics that glorify crime, violence, drug use, lack of value for human life, racial slurs and​ degradation towards women​. I continued to hear lyrics​ that speak of women as mere sex objects​ and referring to them in very derogatory and offensive terms. You would think that a gym which has so many female members would consider this to be a little insulting to them. ​I​ dont enjoy having to hear musi​c​ that deteriorates​ the moral fabric of America and ​speaks of women in such terms of turning them into nothing more than sexual objects for rappers to talk down too​​ while attempting to boost their masculinity, egos, and thug status. I brought this to the attention of the desk attendant who ​was working the night shift. I justified my concerns​ with​ reasons why I found it inappropriate to play in a family ​​friend​ly​ environment. He said he would change it, although it continued to play as my work out continued (I cannot say if it was changed after I left). He also tried to justify it by saying its whats on the radio like that made the lyrics of promoting illegal drug use okay? I didnt understand this response, but whatever. I got the vibe he could careless anyway. I guess my membership is that valued, but again whatever. I dont think gym members ​should have to be subjected to music that promotes gun violence, racial slurs, and drug usage while trying to maintain their daily exercise regiment. Its sad that music thats as obscene and vulgar ​as whats heard throughout the rap industry is found to be acceptable by gym staff to have playing in a family friendly atmosphere. It really makes me question their moral compass and the values on which Fitness2000 is founded on. ​

I love this gym, i look forward to it every day! Staff is nice, place is clean and classes are great, I can see the difference in my body in less then a month!

I like their personal training program. I have never really followed a routine, but the personal trainer really helped me get out of my comfort zone.

Repeating what most of the low rating said as I experienced the same issue. The cancellation process was a hassle sending you to a third party which is ridiculous. Told me I would only have to pay 50% of my dues if I cancelled within my 2 year contract which is not true as I had to buyout and pay 100% of the remaining dues. They also didnt tell me about an annual fee.

Nice little gym has everything you need to get good exercise in. Seems to be kept pretty warm. I think they should put some kind of air fresheners in here, its pretty small and has a humid atmosphere so when somebody rips ass it really spreads and lingers throughout the whole place. Will update as time goes on.So update - they lack cleaning their equipment here ive noticed, really kind of nasty. I dont ever see anybody cleaning anything. Just recently have seemed to out spray bottlea down that seem watered down. Staff just sits at their desk all day twiddling their thumbs. Cleaning could be done in this time frame. Its just honestly pretty gross feeling in there and ive been to way cleaner gyms. Ill be going through the pain in the ass cancellation and taking my business elsewhere.

It gets 2 stars because it does have the basic necessities I personally like. Im currently here, at 1230am.....obviously not a whole lot of people training....BUT....while the guy at the front is doin an AMAZING job keepn that seat nice and warm......i have to on a scavenger hunt for the free weights since very few (mostly 60lbs-100lb) dumbells are everywhere BUT the rack. Scattered all over the gym floor...i find one dumbell weight i need, and the other one is playin hide and seek. Nevermind the fact that just about every machine i use, i must remove all the plates from previous people. The only employees workn right now is the cleaning crew, who has the disadvantage of moving plates and dumbells around so they can clean. Really?? At 1230am.....this gym looks like it barely made it thru rush hour. Damn shame.

Limited equipment but great value for the membership dues.

First of all they do not accept request online or with email for cancellation. Customer has to send them Mail for termination while at the timing of joining the gym they do not do that because they want more membership,customer to join and pay them right away.But at the time of termination you ask customer to send you Mail with all the proof physical copy of new lease electric bill and home owner paper so customer cant share information easily and they do all because want to take more and more money from customer.I joined never get to know if I signed the contract until they let me know and when i bought new house and relocate I wanted to cancel the membership. I moved 22 miles away from the fitness center and I send them all proof of relocation, shifts to 22 miles away then they ridiculously send me an email that you cant terminate the membership. What do you mean, cant terminate the membership..because it should be more than 25 miles..what....what you want...want me come forfitness center for 22 miles ..Really ..ridiculous...as that I dont have anything to do in my life and waste hour time to go and hour to come back ....whether they are terminating the membership or not I will not gonna pay a single penny anymore to them. Never seen such a bad service provide..I never give feedback but wanted to give for their service ..so the people know about their scams and strategies to take customer hard earned money from them. Worst service I ever experience.

Very simple month to month low cost plans. Even at busy times, easy to get your workout in without having to wait.

Before signing contract the person told me that i can freeze my account any time i want. but now they are not allowing me to do. The person didnt explain me me complete information. Otherwise I wouldnt have signed the contract. Couldnt do it because of my child n shes a toddler. M in trap right now
