READ THE REPLIES FROM THE OWNER ON THESE REVIEWS!!! EXTREMELY UNPROFESSIONAL!!!!! I have taken my son twice to get a haircut there. There are two ladies that work there and they are both incredibly rude. While I was explaining to the barber what I wanted for my son she started talking to another customer before I was finished. Throughout the haircut I could tell she was frustrated with my son who kept looking down. After the haircut was finished she just assumed that I was ok with the haircut. It looked terrible and wasn’t what I asked for. When I brought it up she interrupted me and said that’s what I wanted. I decided to leave and pay for the haircut that was $40!!! The lowest preset tip amount was 35%. I left a tip that I felt was generous for the quality and professionalism and when she saw it she rolled her eyes. When I was walking out I heard her tell the other barbers that “she hates people that tip like s**t”. I will never be going here again because if I’m paying $40 for my sons haircut I expect professionalism and quality.

Rudest lady Ive ever encountered. Supposed to be a customer service business...most barbers understand this- either this shop doesnt or simply thinks they can talk to customers however they please. Do yourself a favor---find another shop...dont support a business that doesnt value customers..I guarantee you therere better shops. Lose the lady--shes not doing this shop any favors.

I go and see Victoria and she is amazing. Very friendly and knows her stuff, she has been cutting mine and my families hair for years and I refer everyone I know. It’s hard to find a go hair stylist and she is someone you find and never let go!

Went here for my husbands wedding cut, he has thick, curly red hair and his hair and beard turned out better then any other barber. Aaron did such a great job& took pride in doing a wedding hair cut. Ollie also cut his hair the next time& did a great job!!We then brought my son here and he was SO nervous but one of the girls was so sweet& kept talking to him and quick with his cut. I love the atmosphere and everyone is so nice and professional. I can’t even imagine going anywhere else anymore.

This is a great operation going here. They are doing a great job with the social distancing, and its very clean. Each of the barber- stylists are highly skilled and qualified. Cant say enough about them. Try it out.

I’ve had a few haircuts here before from some of the men at the shop and have had good experiences.Today, on a Monday (Which I’m surprised and glad they’re open on), I called in about an appointment.One of the ladies answered the phone and I was met with instant unprofessional attitude and belittling. This was so demeaning and hurtful that I hung up the phone.I can tell this is the standard from this establishment from reading some of their responses to their reviews (and most likely the one left on this one if they do 😂)Anyways, I went to Local Boys Barbershop in West Salem without any attitude or resistance towards my business. They always do a great job and are fun people to be around! Cheaper and faster too! (And of course, open on Mondays).Hope this helps!

Dont waste your time on a walk in!! I went in 9am as they opened, was told to wait for a couple minutes, due to extra barbers who do walk ins were not in(awake yet) 5-10 minutes pass by and I was asked if I wanted to return at 12 in the afternoon for the next available appointment. NOPE!!! Thats why I woke up early to get a walk in. If you advertise Walk Ins, then Do What You Advertise! (Which on your front door does say 14 person max occupancy and WALK INS welcome, online mimics the same buisness strategy. Nothing about appts only.) Do what you say you do. Plain and simple. Instead belittling any previous/potential customer. Again I say, Last time I waste my time here.

Ive been going to Primo since theyve opened. Never been disappointed. Aaron Gonzalez is my primary barber and he does an excellent job. Dude has the cleanest fades and has probably the best attitude and personality of any barber. Make sure you request my boy Aaron hes legit the best in the business.

This has been the go-to place for me and my boys the last several years. Go see Enrique. I promise you won’t be let down. This is not a quick cut and you’re gone. He he very precise and detailed. Comes out perfect every time! And he’s great the the kids, too!

I have gone to Primo Barbershop the owner Jose for about 2 months. I am very please with the environment . The staff that cuts customer hair are very experience in the latest styles. Wife did a number on my haircut with new hairstyle. Came in, was family like setting and fixed me up good. Wife has been given her notice, this is my cut.

Been coming here for almost a year now, and I have to say I haven’t been disappointed once! Skylar always does good work, before her I don’t think I even knew how nice my beard could be with a little maintenance. Plus the razor blade finish makes me feel like I am back in the 50’s.

I love the cool atmosphere of this place! Victoria is amazing, she’s very educated and knows what she’s talking about when it come a to hair care. I had a horrible experience somewhere else and she’s helping me get my hairs strength back and given me great suggestions. I had just move to the area. I was recommended by a friend and it’s well worth it. Jose, great customer service and he understood and did a great job on my line up and fade with beard trimming. If you have a beard and like a clean look, go see Jose at Primo Barber Shop.

Nice people good haircut for a fair price

John David has cut my almost 3-year-old sons hair a couple of times, and honestly I prefer not to go to anyone else. His kind demeanor and attention to detail makes him a truly talented barber. Wonderful with kids. And hes totally kick ass at helping to maintain my blunt bangs--cowlick included. Highly recommend!

Google says they are open on Sunday. They are not. They used to be, which is why I went there and waited insanely long times to get my hair cut. But the last 3 times I tried on Sunday they were closed. Please fix your hours online so people dont waste their time. Unless you are supposed to be open, in which case you should show up to work.

From what I gathered listening to other people say at the barber, Lorenzo is no longer working for/owns the business. The gal that attended to me was nice. The wait was not too bad. The men haircut itself was good but Id have a hard time saying it was worth $16 plus $4 tip. Ill be looking around still for a regular place to go to.

Asked for a medium men’s cut came out with a buzz cut. I will not return.

Really cool people that work there. I dont think its worth $21plus tip for a hair cut. I was honestly not happy with my hair cut. After I paid $25 for my cut I went home and recut the top of my head. Definitely wont go back again...

Cant speak about their haircuts, but appreciated they were open when I called on Christmas Eve. Drove all the way out there and theres a sign on the door that says something like holiday special, childs and adult haircuts $40. I called to verify which I should have done in the first place, and its true. Theres nothing terribly special about that. Not sure if this is higher pricing than normal, but its pretty steep for a barbershop for a kids haircut. Ill take my business elsewhere.

Honestly would not recommend. Unfriendly staff and an overall negative atmosphere. Waiting times are also way to long, like, extraordinarily long. Waited for over 2 hours

Walk in... Waited about 10 ish minutes. The Barbers were great. Talkative, efficient, clean, and personable. Atmosphere, was clean and had a cool vibe... Minimalist (not overly decorated, which is a nice change from what salons do). Great price too. Thank you!

Aaron Gonzalez has been take of me lately Lorenzo’s Barbershop, and he’s been on point!!! In and out of the barbershop within 1 hour and 4 people ahead of me with two barbers. I’ve been coming here for 10 months and they’ve haven failed me, plus military gets 3 bucks off of their cut. Coming here is better than heading to Q’s in Salem and waiting for 3 hours for a haircut. Check it out when you have the chance!

The biggest lady in there gave me the absolute worst hair cut ever. I had some time to kill before a vendor was ready for me. So I went and got my hair cut here. I had her stop long so I can go somewhere else to have them make it presentable. Glad I was wearing a hat today.

Ive had the same fade for 3 months and usually get my sides maintained every 3-4weeks to keep it fresh. Just to fade the sides again it cost me $22. Thats really really expensive for a 7 minute maintenance cut with no lineup or face trim.

The barber was open for another hour and a half by his signage and had a guy sitting inside waiting when we walked in. He promptly shooed us out and said he was closed. He took the guy behind us in who walked in. Guess we should have been darker skinned to get help here.

I’m very particular about my haircuts. I have a had time trusting anyone with my hair, therefore I usually get stuck cutting my own hair. I’ve gone to a few barber shops before, but very rarely was I impressed. A couple days ago I visited John-David after being referred by one of my good friends. I didn’t have an appointment, but John-David was able to squeeze me into his schedule. He was very polite. I told him what I was looking for and began to work his magic. You know a real barber when you see one at work. He walked me thru the whole haircut and made sure everything was as I wanted it. He finished my haircut, styled my hair, and then proceeded to show me the finished product! I have to say, this was THE best haircut I have ever gotten. The fade was amazing and there was no visible lines anywhere in my hair. Everything was very precise! Not a hair out of place! Very impressed with the haircut and service. He will definitely be my go to guy! I have finally found a barber I can rely on! Thank you John-David!

Best place for a fade in salem, I go ever week and went to a different barbershop since I was a child. When that barber moved on i started looking everywhere for a replacement and this is the spot for sure.
