Great learning experience for my daughter. She was motivated to learn and eager to attend her weekly tutoring session. The staff are caring and understanding. I liked the one to one tutor setting for individual instruction.

I signed me son up for tutoring over the summer because he has dyslexia and I wanted to get him some extra help with his reading and writing. We have been very pleased with his progress and have been able to get some tools to use with him at home. I highly recommend Counters Tutoring!!!

My daughter was lagging behind in school in both math and reading. Being that STAAR testing is coming up, I was at my wits end when I found CTC on Nextdoor. It wasn’t an advertisement, but a recommendation from a fellow parent. When I got in touch with the owner, our conversation put me very much at ease. I spoke to her on Monday night and she immediately gave me a start date that was next day. The teacher she partnered us with is AWESOME! Very patient with my daughter and takes the time after each class to go over the session with me and give clear instructions about homework. We had our first session today and I am beyond impressed! From the first phone call I made to inquire about their program, to our first session today, everyone I have spoken to or met has been extremely friendly, professional and helpful. Mrs. Counter is a fantastic teacher and tutor. She really cares about her students and takes the time to understand their needs and how they learn best. My son loved tutoring with her. My daughter loved Counters Tutoring. She looked forward to each visit. The instructor was very supportive with her educational needs. Unfortunately when summer was over and my daughter went back to school and Physical Therapy and needed to reduce visits from weekly to every other week, we had to terminate service not because the tutoring center thought that every other week sessions wouldnt be sufficient for my daughters progress but because they had to assure more hours for their tutors and therefore showed greater concern with their financial bottom line. While I understand money talks, it was disappointing.

Counters Tutoring Connection provided one of the most cost effective SAT prep programs in Katy. The class size was small enough to meet individual needs of each student. **edit** we’ve only been going here for a couple of months and my son - who struggled with reading - now has his highest grade (a 95!) in reading!My son was struggling with reading and we were struggling with patience trying to help him. I started digging through tutor reviews in Katy and landed on CTC. I received a call back within a few hours of reaching out and we scheduled for the next week. Since we started my son has rapidly progressed in reading and loves coming. There are cameras in the rooms that you can see from the lobby, so you see your kid the whole time they are in their lessons. I love the structure and would recommend CTC to anyone. The tutors are really patient and every week I receive feedback about what to work on with him. I feel much more comfortable with a company owned by a former KISD teacher than a big corporation.
