Never again coming! Took more than 2 hours on a pedicure, have a crooked nail and my feet feel so rough. DO NOT RECOMMEND

Went last Saturday for the first time and they took forever to do my nails. Then the guy did them too thin (acrylics) and today which is Monday my nail popped off. When I was getting them done this girl came in complaining about how 4 of her nails came off. Never going again terrible place do not recommend the only reason I went was because my usual place was busy. Also the guy that did my nails didn’t even know what he was doing and didn’t shape them right I paid 50$.

Went got a pedicure in April since then i gave had 3 antibiotics and 2 minor surgeries because of this place. I was cut and a week later went to see doctor they said i had staph. From there i have spent over 300 dollars and list work time cause of my toe. Hopefully this is my last procedure.No I’m not diabetic or anything that would keep me from healing. I’m a healthy young women. I have never had a problem with pedicures so now I’m questioning how clean are their instruments.Be careful with this place. Check the packaging.

I went to get a full set, recommended by my sister. They left my nails with bubbles, thick, and the sides were uneven. I gave them a break bc of the holidays. Three days later my sisters nail popped off. We went back 2 weeks later and I thought they would get things right if I asked for someone maybe more experienced. 1 of my finger nails popped off the VERY NEXT DAY! That refill cost me $55, I STILL don’t understand WHERE do you pay more for a refill than a FULL SET?!!! I also noticed that they offered all non colored something to drink upon arrival, I asked for a drink and NEVER even got a bottle of water. OVERPRICED and low quality! NEVER AGAIN!

First experience nice friendly staff . First time getting a pedicure as a man lol will be back. They got rid of all the dead skin on my feet . I was nervous but that fear quickly dissipated with the friendly ambiance of the place . Will be back ! Highly recommended

I really enjoyed my full set. Michael was very professional and did a great job on my nails. Not too thick and perfect shape 👌 and also waxed my eyebrows and did a great job!

Mary does a great job on my nails and is one of the few people who have never cut me (thin skin). And Cindy does the best pedicures. She goes over and beyond for customers.

Came in for Mother’s Day today and unfortunately, was extremely disappointed. Guy burned my leg with the hot stone. Left a mark it was so hot. Then, cut my toe and made it bleed. Didn’t get the dead skin off my feet either. Very upset that I had to pay $45 for burned skin and a cut toe. :(

First time here. Everything was amazing. Great first time experience. Tina did an amazing job on my pedicure and Mary did awesome as well on my manicure. First time experience with powder as well. Will definitely be back whenever I come visit again from Monroe, Louisiana.

This is my go to nail place. I have been a customer since they opened and have always been pleased with the service I have received. Danny cares about his salon and always does what he can to make each customer feel welcomed and taken care of.They have some great techs! I love Anna and Eva and my daughter loves Ryan. Hanna and Danny also do a great job. Im very picky about the shape of my nails and all of these people do it right.Their color selection from regular nail polish to shellac and powder is awesome. The salon is clean and comfortable. They also have a great reward system. I believe for every $100 you spend, you get $10 off, but double check that. I always recommend an appointment, but walk-ins are welcome. You just may have to wait a bit if theyre busy.If youre looking for a new place, you wont be disappointed!!

I used to love this place when they first opened. I got my nails done 8 days ago. 2 have popped off, the rest of them are raising at the cuticles and i paid over 80$ for my nails and toes. You can say i am NOT pleased. AT. ALL. I want a refund.

Always the utmost relaxation with very talented, kind, caring and careful staff. If you need to unwind and feel pampered... This is the only place to go (in my opinion) highly recommend!

When they first opened they were amazing but about a month ago I went in for a shellac manicure and pedicure and everything looked alright until about a couple days later when my fingers and toes started to hurt. I thought maybe they just cut my nails too short but that wasn’t the case. 4/10 fingers and 5/10 toes ended up swollen and infected - this has NEVER happened to me since I’ve been alive.I thought it would subside within a couple days but nope, I’m still dealing with this issue. So in return, I will never be back.

The owners Hannah and Danny are so friendly! The establishment itself is classy and feels high end. I always love the services I get and havent been to another place in Katy in a year. They are great at what they do so yes, it gets busy! If youre in a rush go at a non- peak hour time... or just be patient because they will get you started as soon as possible. Their popularity speaks volume to their great service!

This use to be my favorite place to go. The past few times I have been the quality is horrible. I just went to get my nails dipped and the are all uneven. I spent $95 for something That looks like a 5 year old did.

Doesn’t deserve your time and definitely not your money. My manicure the girl rushed thru so she could sit across from me on her cell phone. Then others sitting on couch on cell phones. So rude. And for goodness sake SPEAK ENGLISH!!!! Terrible to understand!!! Polish thick and gummy looking. Now to be fair. If you do go there request June. She did a good job with my cuticles. But this place is a zero otherwise. There are so many nail places way nicer than this in Katy. Too bad was close to many of my normal stomping grounds.

This place came highly recommended by a friend. I was very specific with the two packages for me and the husband. Hot stone came out with mine along with wax. For whatever reason, hot stone burn my skin. I asked if I could just use the stones for my husband and not waste. They said not a problem.We then moved to our seats for our nails to do a simple clean up for our hands without color. They then began to massage my husband’s shoulders, and I inquired what they were doing. They said they upgraded his package when they took my stones from my package and gave it to him. When I clarified and repeated what was said, they then said that wasn’t the case. The moment I gave him my stones, I would then be charged for both packages (my stones and his stones - although we would only use one).The crazy thing is, the package they wanted to charge us was not given to him. Both technicians walked away as the lead lady came up to say we would be charged for this. They didn’t finish his service for what we originally agreed to (the basic service), they charged him for the hot stone (the most expensive service), and didn’t finish his services.What amazes me the most about how this location conducts business is, if they wanted to charge for relocating my stones to him, why increase the package to the highest (hot stone package) and not just bump it to mine (deluxe package)? To say I was angry is an understatement. I had planned to bring my son back today, but I will never recommend this place to any of my friends or family - they steal your money and do not finish your services.To top it off, she called us and said the technician confessed she didn’t do all of the services that came with the hot stone package; therefore, we should not have been charged for that package. She said we needed to come back for a refund. Word to the wise - don’t be money hungry if you prefer repeat customers instead of one time customers.

It was my first time here. It was good. Id have to say. They are a bit on the pricey side due to their location. However you get complimentary drinks ( mimosas, wine, daquiris and etc. ) when you are getting your nails or feet done. I got a pedicure & I got the basic pedicure and it was good. I appreciate how they took care of my feet and how they shaped them. Nice place so far.

I had to wait 2 hours before someone saw me and then they charged me more for oval shaped nails.Keep in mind the shop only had about 8 clients in there and 8 technicians.I wouldnt have been upset with the oval shape charge if I hadnt already been there for 2 hours.They prioritize pedicures and have 2 people work on one person even though they have a line full of people waiting.Now, a day after the application, both of my thumb nails are hurting.Would not recommend

I wish I could give this salon even less than 1 star. I made an appointment earlier in the week for two pedicures at 11. We got there and they were so busy. Then they tell us they dont do appointments on Saturdays, but whoever made my appointment earlier in the week obviously didnt know this?! So they seat us at a nail table after a wait, then they moved one of us to a pedicure chair, then they were moving my mom away from me to the other side of the room. This was supposed to be part of her Mothers Day present and this place ruined it. Ive been in here twice before when customers were arguing with the manager and they also left upset. The manager was involved in this situation today and she did nothing to resolve this situation. Its unfortunate because I absolutely love the nail tech Mia, but now I will not be back to see her because of how this salon is run. Its too pricey for the customers to be treated so crappy.

I have been to many nail salons in the last 20 years or so. I REALLY like Half Moon! I alternate between regular manicures and fake nails and have never had a bad experience. I also love their hot stone pedi treatment!

Great pedicures for a great price!! If you have acrylics, you MUST see Mike! He does the best job ever! They serve water, coke, wine and margaritas! The warm neck pillow is a must! Love love love Half Moon!

When it first open it was awesome and then sadly now its horrible like many have said the lady at the front desk with glasses is rude. . They no longer do what you ask them to do. Ehhh; I agree with the reviewer who said they aren’t as good as they once were. It has become a factory. Recently, the woman who delivered my pedicure could not speak a word of English and so she just did whatever she wanted. I tried in vain to express my preferences, but she wasn’t really interested. They just aren’t customer oriented and seem to want to churn customers through and push them out. This is a nice salon, but I am looking for a new place to get my nails done.

I paid $$100 to get my feet and nails done. I had my babies with me so I felt I was being rushed. I could not enjoy my time and massage chair because they were doing my nails. I get S&S nails that usually last a month and my nails grow fast, but here my nails stayed lifting the 1st week. Wussy experience of my life. It upset me because i already dont have time to myself. Very disappointed

The staff was friendly but my friend waited an hour to get offered to get her nails done even though we both got there at the same time and there were employees doing nothing for a while. She ended up not even getting her nails done bc of time (they close at 7 and they wanted to do her nails at 7 even though we got there at 5:30). I got a full set and it is a little too thick as the nail tech used a LOT of powder acrylic and had to basically shave my nails down as the fact. Also the nails were uneven until i said and she file them again. Overall, it was an okay experience but I will not be returning.

Have been seeing Sam for several years and she can always replicate any look/design I take her. Owners are very friendly and always make sure youre comfortable and satisfied with service

I would like to give them 0 stars but google doesnt have that option.Was a regular customer who used to spend about 80-100 dollars there every month. Today I went there to fix a problem. I did a shellac manicure on march 5th few days before spring break and happily went for my vacation. It started peeling off within a few days(and I wasnt even cooking), I came back on 17th Sunday evening and today(18th) went to show them what had happened and ask if they could fix it. The front desk lady was rude. She told me that I should have come back sooner(!!!!!!!!!!!! cut short my vacation because of nail issue) and now they cant do anything.I told her again that was because I was travelling. She just didnt want to listen. So be careful when you are going there. They just dont care. Anyway we do have a lot of options to choose from, so I wont be returning to them . Bye bye Half Moon spa.

Wow! This place was perfect! They honored our appointment time (which is rare these days) even though we were 7 minutes late. There was never a time that we were just waiting and wasting time. The staff was fully focused on us the entire time. Someone greeted us at the front desk rather than having to wait on a tech to acknowledge us. The atmosphere was quiet and classy. The staff wasnt talking to each other or using their phones. They never interrupt what theyre doing with you to attend to someone or something else. It was very spa like. No tvs with volumes up loud, just instrumental music at a perfect volume. We were never hurt and our nails look perfect. Massages were fantastic. We felt very pampered. Even the bed they use for eyebrow waxing is better than the norm. Everything about this place was TOP NOTCH. I had Lynn and Amy and my sister had Thu? and June. They never pushed extra services or anything. The place was super clean and organized. Just wonderful all around.

If I could would leave 0 stars it was horrible. Paid $72 for powder and hombre nails, and pedicure. My pedicure was great but my nails look crappy they look like how I do them at home on any regular basis. The girl could not do the ombré on my nails she did not did great. I show her a picture on how I wanted them but she kept messing up. I should of just but $15 fake nails with the design on it from the pharmacy store instead I spend $45 plus $5 adding the glitter when the glitter was not even much on my nails would of been a special type of glitter this would of been included with the $45 but they over charge. My friend left mad from this place as she normally gets them long and they wanted to charge her $5 more for keeping them longer. The lady charge her $5 more for her nails because she also show her the picture with glitter but she did not put any glitter on it she put regular nail polish gold. It look like black little eggs and one gold egg. please don’t go. Don’t go I feel bad that I spend so much for a special event with my nails being like that. They spoke there there language and did not even speak to me. I hate ppl who are not friendly is all about keeping the customer happy.

Tried them twice both times I waited over an hour to be seated, even after I made an appointment. When it was finally my turn, they rushed my full set and pedicure. outcome my nails and experience did not match the $90 price I paid.

Went to Half Moon today, Friday, as a walkin around 11:15am. This was my first time. Danny was at the front desk. He was very friendly and accommodating. He gave me a list of services, asked me what I wanted and explained to me the differences in the two types of French manicures. It was a little busy, but I suspect everyone wanted to be pampered after spending 5 days stuck in the house from hurricane Harvey. I only waited about 5 minutes before a tech was open for me. Sam and Tiffany did a fabulous job. I did the French manicure and the deluxe foot spa, eye and lip wax. I paid $108, and yes, they are a bit pricey, but the service was great. They offer you complimentary beverages and water and warm neckrolls. The deluxe spa was so relaxing. If you go there, ask for Sam (nails) and Tiffany (feet). They have a hugh selection of nail colors to choose from. I will definitely be going back.

Daughter and I went for a mani n pedi. Booze included yay. Everything was good until Cathy decided to just paint over a mistake instead of doing the nail over. Disappointed 😔. I really wanted to like my first visit. She spent about 20 minutes trying to fix it instead of just doing it over and I bought my own nail polish!!!! I dont why she would do that. Going to try again with someone else.... hopefully it goes better.

I came here after a different nail place messed up my manicure! They took me to the chair no waiting and were so kind and did a great job thank you half moon.

I thought this nail shop was awesome, its NOT one of the techs thats now fired, gave me a nail fungus in June ! & the owner did nothing to help my situation, didnt offer me a refund or anything ! Ive been getting my nails done for years now & ive never in my life experienced this before! It hurt sooo bad & it turned green and was swollen ! The worst feeling ever ! I will never return to this shop again !

Will not be going here because of the lady in the front! Hearing from several people now all the same, thought I save others the time...You can make an appointment days in advance or call the day of she will tell you anything you want to hear! Several times my mom and myself have made appointments and show up on time to have to wait 30min to even longer before started on.

I have been coming here monthly since right after they opened and have liked the job they did on my nails every time!

Don’t know if I’m gonna go back there
