These guys are awesome. Ive used them for both my house and a vehicle. After a lockout on my vehicle, they offered me a FREE passkey for the car door so I could keep it at home and unlock it myself. They provided fast, excellent service at my house as well. Very professional and affordable.

When Dodge dealship had me waiting for weeks I finally just took the key ignition part out myself to Jim’s. With in a couple of days had it repaired so happy because Dodge had no timeline for me and use this for work. Highly highly recommend ising them I even was going to tip but they wouldn’t accept it.

I called 4 other places to get keys made for my recent purchased truck utility bed without keys, none would touch it. Jim looked up the code and in 5 minutes had two keys.

Got in a jam this morning Jason from Jims Lock and safe came out made me a new key to my vehicle changed the passcode on it because my key had been taken there so nobody can steal my vehicle they can get in it but they cant start it appreciate the work Jason did you got me going and half hour time

I came in this morning, 9/14 with the potential of 3 needs. I needed two different keys copied as well as I had planned to ask to have my new key fobs programmed. The gentleman cutting my keys made a comment about how hes been there for 30 years and hes tired of people watching him work. After this comment I did not feel comfortable asking to have my fobs programmed as I know this is a timely task.

I can only say WOW on everything..I am huge on customer service and honesty.I do not do many reviews however I HAD to on this one..I took my only key that another locksmith broke here.Jim was able to make me a new key with the broken key. My brother passed away and one of his vehicles I couldn’t find the key. I scheduled a time for them to come out and he was on time. When he got into the car somehow there was a key in it and he found it, he handed it over to me and instead of charging me to make one which I can see anyone else doing it he was honest and only charged me for coming out. Saved me some money. Honesty in a business I’d good customer support along with punctuality is amazing. Friendly attitude and good response. I will suggest this company to anyone. Very impressed.

Had to use them when I locked my keys in my work vehicle. They were running a bit behind for which the (very friendly) guy apologized. (Working in the service industry I totally understand). He unlocked it very quickly, in a less invasive way than lockout services generally use. They are a little more affordable AND give you a voucher for a free basic duplicate. Theyll be my first call should I need lockout service again..

I have visited Jims Lock & Safe several times over the past years and they have always done and excellent job. The last time I used their service was about one month ago. I had a locked file cabinet that did not have a key. They had me look for the cabinets manufacturer and were able to cut a key for me without having to send someone out for a service call. They saved me a lot of money doing this.

Ive used Jims for both Commercial and Residential work over the past 15-years. Ive always received exceptional service. My residence had a dead bolt that was sticking. The Service Tech was courteous, very friendly, called when he was on his way, was early, and did a fantastic job. Ill always use Jims Lock & Safe -- reliable with reasonable pricing.

Would not recommend, owner upcharged me on 1 key charging $60 stating hes tired of people bringing in car keys isnt that what youre for to cut keys? Key wasnt cut correctly so it doesnt work. Went to a different place (wont say the name) and they cut the same key for $10. Talk about a ripoff and poor quality. I have the receipt and the key. Its not worth my time to even go back there.

Got locked out, and on a day when most places I tried didnt think they could come out at all, this place could. Fast, friendly, and mask-wearing locksmith, nuff said.

On the morning of July 6th 8:30 I had an appointment and it only took him about 45 minutes or less to fix my lock on my driver side door on my 98 Ford Windstar he was very friendly and fast he made a new key and run a check on my locks I will be going back for any lock issues I have. 😁

I had a car stolen and recovered. The ignition and steering column had been damaged. I had my car towed to Jims Lock and Safe Services to get the ignition repaired. There was heavy damage and some strange aftermarket installs on my car - the technician at Jims spent a considerable amount of time trying to get my car fixed. He was not able to do so but recommended a place to me that was able to help me out. Jims did not charge me for their time spent on trying to get my stuff fixed! Thats awesome service and very respectable. Jims was highly recommended to me and I see why. I trust this business and will use them for any lock and key service I need in the future.

Great customer service and good prices. I had an issue and a lady helped me solve it over the phone instead of having to make a service call which would’ve cost me money. Any other place would’ve happily charged me 100 to 200 bucks just to come out and change a battery. I highly recommend them you won’t be sorry!

Fast and polite. Have had 500 keys made by them and just placed an order for 250 more, have only had ONE problem with a key and it was corrected immediately. 100% continuing to do business with them!

Dont get me wrong they do great work. My problem is why would you charge extra for coming out on a Saturday? Most people thats all they have is Saturday to get things done. Like I said great work, but its so stupid to charge so much more money because thats the only day I have off. Most businesses would love to help you whenever they can unfortunately this is not a business that does that. They take advantage of the fact that the only time you have is the weekend and charge you much more than a weekday. Thats sad.

Jim’s Lock did a great job getting me back into my house! They sent someone out right away, did the job quickly, made spare keys onsite, and were reasonably priced. Jason from Jim’s was awesome! Great customer service!

We have used Jims Lock & Safe multiple times at the office. They have always been prompt, professional, clean up after themselves, and communicate well. We have not had any locks/handles malfunction after they have been taken care of by Jims.

They are a very good job and done quickly. but, The price is slightly higher. But, They are nice working and I give them a five-star rating.

Not sure why these guys got some bad reviews. Friendly and helpful for me. Easy to get locks rekeyed and cheap in my opinion. Observed other customers coming in and getting keys copied quickly as well.

Always friendly & knowledgeable. I bring in odd ball stuff for keys & they get it done.

Great experience. They gave me advice over the phone that saved me a service call. I took the lock cylinder in, they fixed the it with new parts for less than $20. Took them 10 minutes to fix it and 5 minutes for me to install it. Cool!

Jims has always been able to make the odd keys that the local hardware store cannot make. Keys for file cabinets, tool boxes, storm doors, or ATVs are no problem at all. Plus they have never made a key for me that didnt work. Thats something I cant say about Wal-Mart or the hardware store. The employees have always been very friendly and helpful.

Bought a used car, and found out that the key would not work in the doors. It seems that the ignition switch was replaced, but the doors were not rekeyed. Originally I thought they were going to rekey the doors, but instead they rekeyed the ignition. No big deal, but they did not take it out of auto register mode. Found an article online, followed directions, and that cured the problem. My only criticism is that I called them before I found a cure to the problem. They never did return my call. I will still use them when I need a second key. It was a lot cheaper to have them work on my car, than what the local Toyota dealer wanted to fix the same problem08/28/20, bought a fireproof file cabinet from a business, and the key they provided did not fit the lock. Stopped by Jims on the way home and they got me fixed up with a new lock and extra keys. The lock had been replaced once before with a different brand of lock, so contacting the manufacturer wouldnt have done any good. They saved me a lot of time and aggravation. Thanks guys. Gave you back the star I withheld from the 1st time I dealt with you.

I setup an appointment with them to make a key for my car, since they couldnt come out that day, I tried the dealership for my car. I need my car for work. Well, the dealership was unable to create a key, and they told me they had somehow called Jims and that I should wait for them to come out the next day....the day of the appointment they no show. I call to see if they can come later in the afternoon. Whoever I spoke to was very defensive. They said that the dealership called them, so they assumed that I didnt want them to come out I told them that I still wanted them to come out, that I did not call to cancel the appointment, and that they assumed wrongly that I did not want them to come. They got angry, and rudely told me tho find someone else to do it and abruptly hung up. I agree with the other reviewer...atrocious customer service. I guess they dont need new customers.

Been able to make my oversized toyota keys (no chip) with no issue on two separate occasions. sells safes, hope to look at their used selection when Im in the market.

My 65 year old mother who is on oxgen and my 8 year old daughter broke down on 78th and parallel, my sister was able to push them into the parking lot of Jims lock and safe (where they sat for a total of 15 mins before i got there). I was on my way with up there to figure out what was wrong with it and get it towed home. I recived a phone call from my sister saying that if we didnt remove the car right away from the parking lot they would tow it right away. The way they talked to an older women like that makes me sick and ill never use them nor recommend them to anyone again in my life. Hope you guys feel good about threating an older women on oxygen. Worse customer experience in my life and i work at a convenience store and see people get treated way better then they treated my mother today.
