If these guys post they are open online....they should make a way to stay open during business hours. We loaded the trash up, went there and they said they didnt take any trash anymore...during business hours...come on...

Really inconsistent with hours and Google hours is never right. Call if you dont want to waste your time. Its getting ridiculous

Decent prices, friendly staff even had a treat for my dog who rode along with me. They stay on top of keeping the dumpsters not overflowing. Only had a long wait a few times just depends on when you go, and despite people sweeping their truck bed out directly onto the ramp and not into a dumpster the ramp is fairly clean. Gone multiple times never had an issue.

This is a very great place to dump your refuge very organized, from the lady thats at the checkout Booth to the time that you leave I give it a A+ rating

Go elsewhere. Used to be fair and a great place to go. I dont know if theyre under new management or what but theyre awful now. One of their scales doesnt work so be ready to sit idling along with ten other trucks for half an hour upon arrival. After you play chicken with two way traffic and finally make it to the scale theyll sit there and be nice and rude to you. Once they take your card you can pull up to the bins which are just surrounded with nails and broken glass guaranteed to blow a tire for you. You can dump your stuff into the overflowing containers then go back to the scale circus and wait half an hour again for them to weigh your truck and CONSISTENTLY charge you three times more than they did last time. Seriously? $0.35 a pound? During a pandemic? Shame.

This is a dump. You bring your remodeling, construction or other refuse here and dump it. Wear gloves and cross your fingers you do not get any nails I your tires. Minimum fee is roughly $85 for loads under net 1000 pounds.

I went there today, (reluctantly after reading some of the bad reviews posted here). I was pleasantly surprised at how friendly the employees that I encountered were. My opinion however is that the company is attempting to discourage the small load people with the minimum charge. I made sure that I loaded up and got my moneys worth. I then thought that the charge was quite fair and reasonable. I also did ask and learn that they will turn you away one hour prior to closing time. Just FYI. Go there with a good load, not last minute, learn the system, be courteous and respectful, and then Im sure that you too will agree that it is a good resource for local disposal. If after all of that they try to ratchet up the prices, then lobby the mayors office about city-wide big pick up like they used to do a decade or so ago.

I started going here 4 or 5 years ago and had no complaints. People were friendly and it was usually pretty painless to get in and out. Gradually over the years they have been raising their prices, Im assuming to pay for improvements. Last time I was there I had a small truck bed full of fairly lightweight scraps and they charged me a minimum of 80 bucks. The minimum used to be 25 or 30 when I started. How do you justify raising your prices that much for the same service? Never again.

I’ve supported this facility since 2006, when it was nothing but a dirt lot and a handful of dumpsters! A dirt ramp to drive up on and responsibly deposit trash and unwanted items into roll offs. The cost was $50-56 for up to 2-3 tons and slowly it went u, as most things do. $58-60 depending...Today I get blindsided with a $105.53 bill for 1.34 ton! Outrageous!!!Read the reviews people! This place has gone corporate and they’ve forgotten who helped to finance all their new concrete ramps and grounds! The neighborhood who’s supported them for over a decade. This isn’t COVID-19 people.... it’s greed. One transaction and you’ve lost a lifetime customer MRT.I’d rather pay the city then support this kind of business practice.

Been using this facility for years and has always had reasonable rates. Today I dropped off a trailer full of trash that would’ve normally run about $55 with the previous management today I was handed a bill for over $120. Never again, That have lost my business. Wish I could give them no stars.

This place is great! The lady who scaled us out was the most pleasant informative woman. She is the type of person who is definitely an asset to any company. Prices are based on weight. Up to 500lbs is less than $40! 1 ton is only $65.

Multiple times this place has been closed when it says its open. I came with a small load on a Saturday afternoon twenty minutes before their sign says they close and the gates were already closed off. There were employees outside looking like they were arguing and no one showing any interest in helping a customer. I drove back around to double check the times. Last time I try to come here. Just going other places from now on. Its pretty simple - if you say youre open, you should be open.

Prices have skyrocketed $80 minimum. Wait time is ridiculous. They no longer tend to the dumping area, have you driving through debris. Sometimes only one roll off dumpster, and they are always overflowing. They are just taking money, providing next to no service. KC needs a better option, might reduce low lives dumping in the woods.

The absolute best place in town to dump.

They doubled there rates as of July 1st. Refuse to accept cash which is a Federal violation. Legal tender for all debts public and private. Its on every bill printed. Refused Corp number when asked. Had normal dumpster out. Had to get a hard hat and dump inside. Half the guys inside sitting on there butts. Other half in loader barking orders at people. If you need to dump. I would recommend finding somewhere else. They lost me as a repeat customer. Almost 80$ for 700 pounds. I wont be back.

I drove 30 minutes on Saturday and got there right at 3:00pm but some grumpy guy wouldnt let me in even though they dont close till 3:30. I could have easily unloaded in 15 minutes but now I have to go all weekend with a truck and trailer full of trash and make another trip. Wont go back there.

Lets just start out with I would give this place zero stars if possible. Went in today to dump from my trailer as the whole place was unorganized and had no idea of what was going on. AS I went into the building to dump from my trailer there workers came up to me and asked if I wanted there medal hook to grab everything out of my trailer. What a mistake I made me being a 19 year old and new to this business I had no idea what I was up against as I thought it was alright as I saw a trailer in front of me in line do the same thing. Well the guy with the medal hook machine hit the bottom of my trailer and ripped out some of the bottom of my trailer as then they told me to pull up while doing that damage they caused to my trailer floor and side of my trailer as they told me to pull forward the whole gate of my trailer came off. I then pulled up to the office to get a manager for the damage they just caused to my property. Finally I was able to get ahold of the equipment manager who was not giving me much respect as a young man and telling me that I was the one liable for it when they clearly damaged my property. I then had my dad come out just so he could tell them the same thing as he mentioned if he wasnt going to fix it then we would be taking him to court and costing him more money. He finally took responsibility for damaging my property and fixed it for free and that was it. DO NOT COME HERE IT IS A COMPLETE MESS AND WORKERS DO NOT FOLLOW ANY SAFETY PROCEDURES. MANAGMENT IS A MESS THANKS EQUIPMENT MANAGER for making me wait for my dad to help me so we could properly claim you were at fault for damaging my property. Save yourself and never come here.

It is about as easy as it gets. A great service, tiered and a la cart pricing on common big items. The location was pretty easy to get to and the staff was friendly.

My experience was positive. The employees are awesome. The guy manning the small dumpsters helped me unload and once they used their front loader to scoop off my debris at no additional charge to speed things up.

Been coming here for years. Their price went up to $80 per load. No matter how small or large - apparently not based on tonage/weight any longer. I personally will not be returning to dump here any longer. $80 for a small 500 - 1000 lb trailer full is simply ludacris. I guess they have to pay for that new weight scale somehow even though its irrelevant to the small guys like myself since weight doesnt have any impact on cost now. R.I.P. - MRT/REPUBLIC. :-(

First time Ive ever had to dump large items anywhere...this place is excellent. Everyone was super nice and helpful, and it only cost me about $26 or so to get rid of everything in my truck. Will visit again!

I read some reviews first and was skeptical and a little concerned Id have an issue or two of some kind. It was nice knowing aheah of time after reading the reviews that they do NOT accept cash. Thats true, the lady even told me w/o my asking about it. I drove straight in onto the scale on a Monday mid morning, no wait. Lady was friendly and told me to drive around the building until I saw the two blue dumpsters which I did. Backed up to the dumpsters that are offset below for convenience of throwing stuff in which was nice. Quickly dumped 420 lbs (up to 500 lbs is approximately $36 said and done). Drove onto the scale where I entered, no wait. Another lady, also friendly, assisted and returned the debit/credit card I gave when I went in (they hold onto it which I thought was odd but Im protected worse case scenario something sketchy happens w/ Visa) with receipt and slip with entry and exit weight. Drove off. Simple, quick and best option I had to rid of random junk after moving.Update June 18, 2019. Prices went up last month. 0-500# is a $50 charge...yikes! Convenience has gone down because of this but still an easy and fast way to dispose of stuff... legally anyway. Be nice if Kansas City didnt take nearly 3 months to arrive for bulk item pickup. Been several times now. Never had a problem but its too pricey for me to get rid of TRASH. Find a friend with better city services and use theirs. Thats what Ill be doing. Most recently I had more than I thought, $82😔Another update 8/11/20: Prices went up again! $85 dollar minimum! Thats extreme to me and at this point, consider renting a dumpster. Much more convenient and comparable in price. If you know this going into it, the experience itself is just fine and convenient (relatively speaking). Still wish Kansas City didnt take 2 months on average for bulky item pickup. I was just here a couple of days ago, Zero wait which was very nice. Look at different options though for the pricing. Dont waste your gas money coming here.Online showed they close at six I showed up at 5:30 meant by someone in the yard saying we close at 4:30 sorry, when I said your hours state 6 oclock she said no they dont. I walked her around the front of the building and she shrugged her shoulder said oh I guess we need to change those youll have to come back tomorrow everything is locked .I am a repeat customer and I could clearly see that the dumpster I would need to go to was not locked and the yard was not locked because I walked through it, because of your lack of customer service you have lost me as a customer; hopefully others will read this and realize how misleading you are and will take their business elsewhere.

Website and signs say open till 3pm on Saturday got there at 11:30 am and they were closing and not letting anyone in. Not even open till noon. Turned several people away.

This was horrid; it’s ran very inefficient. Took 2.5hrs to drop off a pick up load.

I used to like this place, but now they want 80 dollars for a truck load it was 40 before that, they used to charge by just wieght, i paid 35 dollars for a truck load once. Now they want 80.

I got there before 4:00 twice this week and they were closed both times.
