My move in date was 9/18/21, I absolutely π love Mrs. Higgs, she was very friendly and polite very informative regarding my steps to take and the approval process was really quick. Praise to you maam.
I work for a blind man who leased from willow creek since 2012. He recently moved out, on august 5th but still legally had the apartment until august 31st (his move out date). We left electronics behind, that we were scared would be damaged by movers and made plans to pick them up Wednesday, august 11th. Upon entering the apartment we immediately noticed maintenance staff had been in the apartment (they left their materials inside) and the electronics were missing! We rushed up to the leasing office demanding answers and were given absolutely none. We were told weβd be contacted, as they had to investigate and after 72 hours heard NOTHING. In the meantime we filed a police report and even the officer on the scene noted no sign of forced entry, meaning anyone who was in the apartment had a key. The only people who have such keys are the tenant and Willow Creek, and the only person who was in the apartment, other than the tenant, was the maintenance staff. I had to be diligent in following up because the office staff had little to no interest in helping us. After 72 hours I called and was told once again the property manager had stepped off the property. You would think having a maintenance staff being accused of a burglary would be top priority. When I finally reached the property manager, Dan, he was the absolute most unprofessional, unhelpful, unkind and unempthatic person I have ever had the displeasure of speaking with. He was more concerned with curbing my βattitudeβ and policing my frustration than getting to the bottom of this. His response was simple and lacked any logic. His maintenance man didnβt steal, or ever even see the three LARGE electronics. βHe looked him in the eyeβand told him so. Get real. The apartment was secure when we arrived on august 11th, meaning no one other than the maintenance staff had the ability to be in the apartment, he even locked the door on the way out. The property manager demanded I tell him the solution for this problem. Isnβt that his job to solve a problem like this as the property manager? The phone call ended with the property manager yelling at me and threatening to hang up on me, then ACTUALLY hanging up on me. STEER CLEAR!! You will absolutely regret it! We are currently in communication with news networks!
Ive only been living here for a month, so I cant say too much yet. The experience looking for an apartment with Ms. Higgs was wonderful. She answered every question I could think of, explored pricing and showed me my options. Not to mention that she is a very nice lady and very funny too. She made me feel very comfortable during the leasing process. So far, I havent had a problem. My apartment seems very well maintained, quiet and spacious (which was a big concern moving from a house to an apartment). The underground garage in my building is great. It makes me very comfortable that my car is safe from weather/people. There is a decent amount of storage space as well. I think I was able to fit 9 tubs, 1 cooler and some empty boxes with ease...with room to spare. Having a laundry room on each level (at least in my building) is great. You dont have to carry laundry to different parts of the building (or use coins!). I havent had time to experience the rest of the amenities; but so far, so good!Update 8/3: Ive been having issues with my thermostat, so I emailed Ms. Higgs. She came to the rescue and said she would have somebody take care of it by the end of the week. Great customer relations!Update 8/5: Diego from maintenance came out and was able to replace my thermostat. Thank you, Miss Higgs, Georgia and Diego. All of you have provided excellent service!!
I give 10 stars Ms.Higgs is the bessssst I really mean it she help me out so much I really really appreciate it
If I could rate this 0 stars, I would. Very unprofessional, bad customer service once the lease is signed. Act very nice but when you become a tenant straight ignore us, sarcasm, and doesnβt really care about how we feel. Currently going through a snow storm with the temperatures being in the negatives, heat no longer working, kitchen light went out and keeps coming on and off when the switch is on. It is freezing in the house that it feels better OUTSIDE. The vents blow nothing but cold air so we shut it off and turn oven on, cover the windows and doors.. and itβs still cold. Very unprofessional staff, had a mouse, tub is peeling, toilet was leaking urine around the bottom at one point, people steal packages.. a new phone that I had delivered to my house was stolen. Be careful, i would never come back unless it was new management.
I am not a resident. I was a potential resident, however, I can tell I dodged a very big bullet!Very disappointed for the price point.-When I did my walk through the complex looked disgusting on the outside and the inside.-I literally watched people standing outside with weapons and smoking weed. There have been murders and thefts galore in the area and when you ask about that they tell you it is a gated community. You know what else is a gated community? Prison...-I walked through the apartments and all the appliances are very old. They look like they could be from the 80s? Maybe older.-When I came to the complex there was a car by the guard shack, however, no one stopped me from coming in or leaving. I was not searched, asked to identify myself, or verify my reason for being there. I could have been anyone there for any reason.+On the plus side I was fully refunded all of my money by Mrs. Higgs who was also very helpful and sweet. When I told her my situation and that I would no longer be applying there they offered me back all my money including my application fee since nothings had gone through yet... HOWEVER..-I was told by multiple people there that I would get a full refund in 24 - 48 hours later. After the two days, I called to ask about my refund and was continuously sent to the same voicemail that no-one ever answered or I would be given a round about answer and told to wait. I called every day for over a week to finally get someone to look into it. At this point I was told that since I used my banking information (typically the preferred method by companies) instead of a card that I would have to have a check sent to me that can take up to 30 days to show up and that they are sending it to me current address on file (moving from this address). I could have came and picked the check up. They could have had someone let me know what was going on a full week before that. SO many things could have been handled SO much better. If this is how they are before I am even in there, I would not want to see what it would be like if I was.I WOULD NOT recommend these projects - Good luck finding a home!EDIT: 5-14-21 I was originally told I would have a full refund within 24-48 hours. Then I was told it would take 30 days. Now I just received a letter stating that I would only be getting a partial refund and am still waiting for the check. When I called to ask why and verify. They told me, sorry we told you that but our boss said this is the way its going to be. When I asked to speak to the boss I was sent to a voicemail and no reply so far... STAY AWAY, I am telling you.
Ms. Higgs was very helpful when it came to getting into my new apartment, which I love very much
I donβt know who the hell miss Higgs is but completely rude and unprofessional and they shouldnβt let her deal with people or answering phones if I didnβt have a choice I wouldnβt live here after speaking with her
Got a check back for my deposit & it was invalid. Couldnβt cash it with mobile deposit & canβt cash it anywhere else. Was really looking forward to the money & now I canβt get to any manager in the office. Gonna keep calling until I get to someone. Been leaving voicemails since yesterday & no call backs, great customer service you guys keep it up !!
My grandpa lived here years ago and I always said, Im gonna live here. This place is so beautiful. 17 years later.. I just moved in and I love my new place! Ms. Higgs is amazing and has been very helpful throughout the entire renting process.. Im very happy to call Willow Creek Apartments my home...finally. :)
I have lived at willow creek apartments for about 4 years now and they are just ok. When Price Brothers managed the place it was better than it is now.-The security is only there sometimes. Not always. There have been 3 murders in the area this past year. 1 on the property and two on the walking trail directly behind the property.-Ever since the new management took over, the front office no longer takes packages like they used to. That has caused issues for me. On 3 separate occasions my packages have been either opened or flat out stolen.-In my building on my floor there is someone who smokes weed on a regular basis and the smell spreads all over the hallway and gets into my unit. Not a fan.-Management seems to be rather slow and disorganized when it comes to documentation and paper trails. Have not had anyone be rude to me however. If they turn off the water for maintenance we are never notified first. It would be nice to know that ahead of time.-The pool and gym have very limited hours and they are very particular about tenants bringing in guests. They gave us a cheap plastic wristband that serves as our entrance into the club house to use the facilities there. Just dont lose it because they will charge you $50 to replace if you do.- In my experience, maintenance has come to fix things in a decent amount of time. However they do charge you extra to change out the light bulbs in the bathroom/kitchen. (Im talking fixtures in their apartments not my own lamps and things like that) Such as those really long industrial looking fluorescent bulbs that are used in the kitchen. The light fixture in my kitchen doesnt work the best. The lights flicker a lot even through the bulbs have been changed various times. Probably electrical issues. Also several plugs in the walls have not ever worked since I moved in.-The buildings dont get cleaned as much as they used to. If there is any kind of mess in the stairwell or garage or hallway it will be weeks or even months before it gets cleaned up.- The pipes are very old and when you turn on the hot water you can hear the pipes rattle and shake and they also make odd loud noises at times. It also takes a very long time to get warm water running in my bathroom sink. 3+ minutes of waiting just to get warm water.-There is a small laundry facility (2 washers 2 dryers) on each floor which is nice. Only thing is that the machines often need servicing because they stop working. Many many times Ive come to grab my clothes expecting them to be dry and they are still damp. Its $1.75 to wash and $1.50 to dry. At times I wish they had a change machine in the laundry room. Would beat having to go to the bank to get quarters all the time.- An issue in my building that used to happen a lot was that the fire alarm would go off several times a year and the fire dept would show up but there was never any fire. It hasnt happened at all this year. Another issue was that the power would go out on random days/times during the day or night for a few hours at a time. Not sure what that was about. That hasnt happened at all this year either. So thats good.- There have been bug issues in the past but they have always been resolved quickly. I rarely see bugs in my apartment.-The appliances are very old (they look like theyre from the 80s or older) but they still work ok. Could use an update- It is generally a fairly quite community. Everyone keeps to themselves for the most part. However I have noticed more noise than there used to be but its not at an outrageous level. The walls are pretty thin but thats usually how apartments are.- Its very close to 435 which makes for a quick commute. Also it has google fiber which I love.-So yeah. Solid OK for willow creek apartments.
Ms. Higgs was AMAZING AND PATIENT from start to finish !!! She answered any and all questions I had and even entertained my 11 month old while handling business. 5 stars all the way π€πΎ
Ms Higgs is amazing she is very helpful I just moved here and sheβs made the process very smooth if I could give her 10 stars I would.
Ms.Higgs Is great at her job she is an awesome help sheβll get you what youβre looking for In your price range I will answer any questions that you have
After visiting a friend that resides there I saw these apartments need to be updated. Very run down, rough; in bad need of repairs.
I have been here for 3 months and this is the worst apartments I have ever lived in and I have lived in several. The office staff is VERY RUDE and unprofessional. When I call the office to voice my concerns regarding the issues that I am having with my apartment they over talk you and once they say what they want to say they hang up in your face. The only person in that office that has been apologetic is the maintenance lady Georgia. She seems to be the only person in the office and has customer service skill. The rent here is way too high for one to have to deal with roaches and mice. As I explained to them I have a 7 month old baby in the home and I cant allow him to crawl on the floor because I dont know what has been on the floor. I keep my apartment very clean but that goes out the window if the other people in the building are not doing the same. These things have to come from somewhere and it wasnt me they were already here. In the 3 months I have been here maintenance has had to come at least once a week for different issues with this apartment. I wouldnt recommend this place to a dog on the street. If you are looking for someone to live DO NOT look at Willow Creek. After only 1 week of being here 2 people were shot and killed. This property is a joke and so is the office staff. Im giving ZERO stars because they dont deserve any, but the review requires me to select a star. I recommend the office staff take some soft skills and customer service classes.
I currently live here, and they are EXTREMELY rude and unhelpful!Especially during COVID!! Maria I believe is the insensitive one! They do not work with you for payments and I have called them 5x today, and the phone number is not working! They also did NOT accommodate when power was out for two days!! I have an 8mo old and 3yr old
The staff there are extremely unprofessional and rude and I actually failed a rental application after I lived there due to there uncomplicance to provide rental history and I was a great tenant that paid on time and they had no issues from me. Go elsewhere.
Ms. Higgs the property is literally the best!! Great to work with, sweet and kind!
Today I reach two months that I moved out and I didnt get my refund, its increible. I stayed there for about 2 years, when I moved in nobody attended a walk down with me, to review that everything was ok; my leasing contract wasnt complete and on that time to get the discount promotion was really hard to get after many excuses that I got, right now I dont know if I going a get my money back, I returned it on a better shape that I got because it wasnt clean. Obviously when they want to convice to lease an apartment there everything is so great, they call back and things like that, right now nobody wants to provide information or take my call and with this Covid season I cant go there in person, isnt allow and I understand that.
Nice spacious apartment but not worth the money. Neighbors tear up property, something is always broken, the elevator has been out for a month now, canβt use amenities during COVID, and customer service is poor. They hang up in your face if they donβt want to address your issue. They donβt call back or return emails. They donβt renew preferred employer discounts so donβt let that attract you to moving here like they did me. My rent increased by 14 percent without my discount.
I pride myself on making good choices, and this was a bad choice. The apartment is spacious, so thats the 2 STARS, but thats about it. The hallway is nasty and smells. I have had several leaks that have taken way to long to be fixed. I have literally been about to shower and they have turned the water off no notice at all. And while we are speaking of water, I had a $60 water bill, which was concerning since I was in the hospital almost all of July! It was then that they revealed that they take the usage for the ENTIRE BUILDING and divide it up amongst all living in the building. They claim that its in the lease, and I was told. No, I wasnt. No, its not in the lease. Customer service is horrible. Its just a bad feeling whenever you do need help.I moved here during covid because it was hard to find a place during that time. Thought me and my kids would be happy here, but its almost a nightmare. ROACHES are everywhere! This building is obviously infested. I call to get weekly extermination, but they have shown up twice since June. I used to enjoy cooking, but now the roaches come out even more when I cook, and it makes everyone not want to eat.Hopefully things will be back to normal for me work wise when my lease is up, so that I can move out of here.
Ms. Higgs is the best! She is prompt in with communication and thorough with explanation. She made my moving process so much easier than my last apartment.
Ive been a resident here at Willow Creek for nearly 5 years. In that time, the management company changed and there were a few hick-ups with that. But overall, I still LOVE where I live and I think the staff does a great job.The property is well maintained. All the staff Ive had interaction with have been helpful and friendly. The maintenance guys are efficient and knowledgeable. The location is very convenient to both my work and my school. I cant imagine a better place to call home.
I have been here just 3 months. The apartment is nice but once you are in unless you have a maintenance emergency you are totally ignored. It took them two months to complete my make ready and have I have had an open work order for weeks. Im going to submit my third request to have my light over my stove replaced. Id do if myself but it needs a special bulb. Im out when my lease is up.
This apts main problem is old utilities. Its not fixable. They have maintenance come out to patch the bigger problem.Even if you pay rent on time you will experience air..and heat problems..water problems. They charge water for the entire building by splitting it among the residents in the bill...and then still charge you again because you have to pay to use the washer. Sick! If you want to find a home where you will have a peace of mind at night and not come home to something that will catch you off guard. Find somewhere else in real life!
I am so glad to call Willow Creek my home. This is my first apartment on my own. The office staff is really nice. They made it super easy to get moved in and have helped with everything that i need. I really enjoy the swimming pools and work out facility. Oh and the coffee bars are really nice to visit before work and church.
With the pandemic going on it has been extremely difficult to find an apartment . My entire experience was a great one when it came to Willow Creek, from being able to physically view the apt to the discounts given to vets /teachers . Mrs Higgs represented the company well, Im excited to see if living within the community will make this a 5 star experience .
So I viewed an apartment literally two days before the city locked down.. I liked the apartment and Rebecca was really nice and friendly but due to Covid I was worried about my hours. So I decided not to move after I had put my deposit down. So Rebecca had to ask if I could get my deposit back which got Approved... I still have not received anything!! The first time something happened and they sent it to the wrong address but that was in April once again it is July I havenβt received anything!! Iβve been trying to get in touch with the manager so Rebecca wonβt have to be the middle man anymore but nope NOTHING! Iβve left several voicemails to the manager NOTHING! Very unprofessional, TERRIBLE customer service especially with something like this. Iβve been patient and understanding since we are dealing with Covid but the fact that Iβm not getting any answer and anyone one speaking to me about the situation is RIDICULOUS! Rebecca has been very helpful but itβs above her at this point and the manager of the property needs to be A MANAGER and handle this. I just want my money and be done with this company! NEVER AGAIN will I even look towards these apartments. Even the other ladies Iβve spoken to have gave me attitude due to me wanting to speak with the manager sheβs always βunavailableβ or someone said to me do you know how many people she works with a day. Iβve been calling and leaving voicemails for A MONTH!!! Nothing! TRASH
Hello all, I hope everybodys doing well and is safe with things that are going on in the world today. So heres my review and I want to preference all this that this is my second day in the apartment. Im going by strictly what I know so far and if I feel the need to update later I will but I wanted to give my initial reaction, as I always feel like the first introduction in reaction is always the strongest.I was needing to move very quickly and I had looked around at different places online but then I went and adjusted my needs and wants and everything and Willow Creek was the first one that came up. I fell head over heels in love with it. Just the look of it the amenities the bills within the rent blah blah blah. So I called to see what was available and I met my apartment Queen lol! Kristin Hercules was the one that I was able to get ahold of and let me tell you what as one that knows Greek mythology and everything like that she really is a Hercules. This woman has the patience of a saint as I told her what I needed and I wont lie I did put a little bit of pressure on her because I wanted an apartment in this community there was only one available but it didnt have washer dryer hookup. Not good okay lets adjust well she had another one that was going to open up a month later but I couldnt wait that long so she was going to push it back to the 12th found out that wasnt soon enough so I was trying to look for others but she came back because I was willing to give on a few things and she was able to get it for me on the first look I needed. So what did I do? Immediately applied and with everything going on with the pandemic and everything I had to get a co-signer because I was out of work currently she did not judge me I never felt judged by any person or anything with this whole community and I loved it.Heres the other thing unfortunately it wasnt just a washer/dryer hookup there was a washer dryer in there. The only problem I had my own well I also had a refrigerator I wanted to bring she was willing to work with me on all those and because the apartment wasnt going to be clean to their standards, again I totally understood this I was prepared for this and I knew that this was happening so its not a surprise they were willing to work with me again. turns out I only brought the washer and dryer but theyre going to come and take their washer and dryer out so I can put mine in which thats a big deal for me I could not appreciate them more for that. My Kristin has been working like a beast for me.June 1st I moved in AC didnt work, I noticed with a lot of reviews theres been problems with the AC units Im in a garden apartment and yes the AC is very old and theres some serious problems with it but I thought it would kick on and work once the maintenance guy was done. First night it did not get cool in my apartment until about 2:00 in the morning, last night it didnt get cool until 5:00 this morning and then it started getting hot again at 7:00 so Ive been working off of hardly any sleep. So I called her this morning and I told her my concerns, and I told her Yes theres little problems here and there but honestly I dont care all I care about is the heat and that the AC is fixed because I have a cat and hes been panting and I am concerned for his health along with my own. Well Miss Kristin is doing her very best and I told her that I dont care about any other problems I just need the AC fixed and shes doing her best to have it fixed. So far all I got to say is I like everything about this place other than this AC unit she understood and shes trying to get somebody out here as quickly as she can to fix it. I have a feeling that they are definitely going to help me anyway they can. And I feel like this is going to be a good place for me to live and that if I have a problem Kristin will always be there to have my back.
I love my apartment!! Matthew was a godsend!!! This property is blessed to have him. He showed me one apartment that I wasnt too fond of,o but he followed up with me and showed me an apartment that I knew was home the minute I walked into it. The approval process was a breeze. Any issues Ive had have been minor and have been resolved QUICKLY. I would recommend Willow Creek to anyone and HOPE that youre lucky enough to get Matt as your leasing agent.
The elevator in our building has been out of service more in this past year than itβs been in service. Itβs was down for 6 months late last year alone. It broke again and was down almost 2 months earlier this summer. When neighbors called the office they could never get a straight answer as to when it will be fixed. The apartments are spacious and affordable but the owners donβt seem to care about serving there customers well.
I have lived here for 5 months. I have a lot to say. First off, my physical apartment (like my apartment number) is amazing. I will thoroughly miss living in such a spacious area. However, the people that own and run this place as well are their employees are all LIARS and they are hiding things. There is a reason they dont hand you a copy of your lease when you sign it, because they are hiding things. Who would have thought I would pay rent to live somewhere and I cant have heat and a/c whenever I please. Also the office staff is rude! Receptionist people and leasing staff. They are not enjoyable people. If I had ANY more money to pay a different apartment, there is no way I would ever come back. They literally do not care. They have a no drug policy but my neighbors smoke pot through and through and they wont do anything about it. They will tell you to call some outside company that also wont do anything. DO NOT LIVE HERE IF YOU CAN AFFORD ELSEWHERE
Willow creekβs staff is composed of some of the most rudest people Iβve ever met aside from my leasing agent, Rebecca. Iβve held back leaving a review because I hate leaving bad reviews but people need to know. They donβt respond in a timely manner, they donβt change your carpet, itβs not βgated,β the buildings arenβt actually secured, and pest control is a joke. I would NEVER recommend anyone to move here! If I could give this place zero stars I absolutely would!!
This is our first apartment and even though we havenβt moved in yet. We are absolutely in love! Itβs right by my school and Rebecca was so friendly. Thank you so much Willow Creek!
Updating my review because I would not recommend anyone move here. Itβs only been a few months and I am planning to move. If you have kids they will complain everyday. The staff is hardly helpful. Management is very very unprofessional. The walls are extremely thin you can hear everything your neighbors are doing. It takes maintenance months to respond to requests. My ceiling is crumbling & βwoodβ is piling off the cabinets maintenance still has not replied. If you can afford $1000+ In rent you can for sure find a better place to live. They are racist. Do not move here! The apartments are outdated. The one black person that they have in the office is extremely rude when you call in and they do not care about their tenants. FALSELY ADVERTISED walls so thin you can hear your neighbors shower. one of the leasing agents told me to give my 1 year old drugs to make him sleepy after my neighbors constantly complained about him crying. Worst leasing experience Iβve ever. I moved into these βluxury apartmentsβ from cheap apartments and had a better experience with them. They advertise as a gated community but majority of the time no one is at the gate and anyone can come in. I wish I would have read other reviews prior to living here. They bribe you for a 5 star rating the day they hand you the keys.
Do not I repeat do not live at this apartment complex they only care about your rent money but will never fix anything in any buildings and will never help you if you have any maintenance request plus they wont tell you that half the complex is located in a flood plane. Dont waste your time with this place it doesnt matter how cheap they price them they are not worth it you will hate this place. If I could rate this place -5 stars I would this place is trash
Save yourself some stress and DONβT MOVE HERE ! Worst apartments to ever move to, staff is rude, they love to lie . They seem nice at first but once you get your lease started they treat you like trash. They dont care about you if i if something is wrong they say they will fix it but never do you have to call about 6 times before something gets done about it. Not a gated community at all, they let anyone in or out. Thereβs no cameras anywhere on the property at all so if you get you apartment broken into or car windows busted out thereβs no way to find any information
Super nice place and great quality for the nice. Ms Higgs is the nicest and very helpful. I truly appreciate knowledgeable staff ππ½ππ½
I have lived here for 11 years. I have never had a problem that has not been taken care of within a 24 hour period. The property is well maintained. The people here at considerate kind compassionate and easy to deal with.
Update 11/06/2017My roommate and i did not get our security deposit back. We received no itemized list of charges nor our last water bill. We called today and were told that the deposit was being kept. When we asked about the pet deposit, they denied that one was even paid. When we explained that we have receipts showing how much we paid in deposit, they quickly backtracked and stated that the entirety of the pet deposit was also being kept. The employee claimed that we were sent an itemized list of damages. However, we received nothing in the mail. Nothing via certified letter either. Willow Creek was given our forwarding address in a letter requesting the deposit be mailed to us and include an itemized list of damages. We have a letter from Willow Creek acknowledging the receipt of that letter. We have pictures of the apartment before we moved in as well as after we moved out. Willow Creek stated that they also deducted our last months water bill from our deposit. However, we received no forwarded water bill in the mail detailing what our charges were.I strongly encourage everyone to review their rights under Missouri Landlord Tenant Law. Ive consulted an attorney and will be pursuing legal action against Willow Creek. I will be pursuing double damages as well as attorney fees. I cannot express how important it is for tenants to document everything. All complaints to management, rent and utility payments, etc need to be documented in case you have to protect yourself.
Willow Creek is a great place to stay. Everyone in the office is super nice and friendly. Price is very reasonable. I will recommend this place to anyone.
Excellent Service.. Ms.Higgs was amazing and made sure I had a spot in a reasonable amount of time.. Very nice and professional.. If your looking for a place come and see her. I love my apartment π€π½
I officially signed my lease today and I am overjoyed by how smooth and quick the process has been with the help of Ms. Higgs. Ms. Higgs is very comfortable and confident with her job which made it very comforting and eased stressed when filling out paperwork and moving in. She tells you everything you need up front and there is no guessing or wondering what you need to do.
I would most definitely recommend NOT moving to this property! Both the office and their owners, Landmark Realty based in San Francisco, CA are two of the same. Its percieved as though They dont care. Willow Creeks personnel refused as well as denied me service and assistance many many times. They also refused to give me corporates information. But I intuned located it. Once I made contact with Landmark they denied any affiliation with Willow Creek, depsite the fact this information is public record and that there logo and letterhead is on business cards, letters, ect.In my opinion, this company and its affiliates are lacking alot. They are lacking professionalism and urgency in either responding and or attempting to rectify a situation. The apartment that I rented had roaches, at times in the refrigerator, dishwasher, stove area, cabinets, bathrooms, ect. They took approximately 6months to resurface my bathtub. I was not able to utilize it so that I would not be subject to lead poisoning. As it came time to move out, zero response from the office. In fact they banned me as a tenant from the office in light and because of my complaints.Nevertheless, upon move out Black Mold was discovered all throughout the basement and in my storage unit.I went on to expressed the health concern as well as the noted issue of that not only being exposed to it but that my items were still in the unit and was either ruined, saturated and or exposed. My movers were not able nor required to move my items due to the underlying health concern/contact.No response. They had been citated from City Health officials and ordered to correct the things noted. If you wanna be healthy, safe, secure, have your issues acknowledged as well as addressed, in my opinion, this place is not for you.
Management was rude and disrespectful of my time. I scheduled a tour for these apartments and arrived on time for the appointment. No one spoke to me until I had been sitting in the office for 15 minutes at which point I wast told that the manager needed to move someone else in. I should note that there were three people working in the office when I arrived. After 50 minutes of waiting, the manager said that she could squeeze me into her schedule. The audacity of some people...Not to mention the website advertises a gated community, and the gate was wide open without an attendant when I arrived. From what I saw, the cheap rent in the ONLY remotely redeeming quality about these apartments.
It was a pleasure working with Ms Higgs! She was thorough and thoughtful...kept all her promises!
The worst part about this place was that the elevator was down 3 times in a two month period (for at least 3-7 days each time) and I lived on the 3rd floor of the building...and had a small baby to carry up.Maintenance wasnt all that bad- the community was pretty clean, the pools and club house were clean. The fitness center was decent and always packed with people ( because it was so decent ). I lived there a total of 4 years and never had an issue with much of anything other than the elevator.
This place is a nightmare! Everyone that works at the front desk is there to get as much money out of you as possible. Most of the buildings are old and outdated but they rent them out for a ridiculous price. And when I moved out they said I owed them about $400 for damages, which never occurred. Theyβll make up anything as long as they get paid. One of the gal even threatened me saying that they can collect money from me for 10 years whether I live there or not. Theyβre the worst!
Ive been here almost 8 years and since the Price Bros sold it, it been going downhill....fast! When you need questions answered, they transfer you several times I guess hoping you will give up. Im not alone in my dissatisfaction. Some of my neighbors have left or leaving and Im sure were out as well. Only a couple of people that I experienced have customer service skills...not good
This place wouldnβt be as bad if the office actually communicated with you. Itβs incredibly frustrating. You have to call the office repeatedly to follow up on maintenance requests or answer simple questions and youβd be lucky if they actually answer the phone OR emails. Thereβs nothing but bugs, wasps and spiders that come into my apartment. The building is dingy and dirty. Donβt move here unless you want the leasing office to completely ignore you after you move in unless you harass them to get things done.
Save yourself some stress and DONβT MOVE HERE ! Worst apartments to ever move to, staff is rude, unprofessional liars. They seem nice at first but once you get your lease started they treat you like trash. Not a gated community at all, they let anyone in or out. Thereβs no cameras anywhere on the property at all so if you get you apartment broken into or car windows busted out thereβs no way to find any information. They told me the information in my own file was βnone of my businessβ. Told them I didnβt want no one in my apartment when Iβm not there and they still come to my apartment when Iβm not home.
Wow! I cant believe the comments below... I have lived here a few months and Rebecca moved me in and it was all around a great experience for me. She helped out from start to finish and kept me updated every step of the way. Its been a great place to live so far.
The staff here is amazing. Dan, the leasing manager, really did everything that he could to get me back on my feet. Finding an apartment here seemed effortless with him as my knight in super shining armor. Thanks guys!
This is the worst decision of my life!!!!!!@!@!@!!! I swear!!!!!!! as much as i am paying for my town home and they will not fix anything!!!! I called in at the end of April to ask about the air conditioning and was told I dont know when they are gonna turn it on, you will just have to wait!!! and the phone was promptly hung up in my face!!! I also started to go month to month after 4 years paid my rent and called to ask about what CHANGES WOULD BE COMING AND TO GET SOME UNDERSTANDING OF WHAT MY CHARGES WOULD BE@!!!!! AND AGAIN THE SAME LADY FROM BEFORE HUNG UP IN MY FACE!! MOST OF THE PEOPLE IN THE OFFICE ARE RUDE!!! SOME ARE THE MOST UNPROFESSIONAL PEOPLE THAT I HAVE HAD TO DEAL WITH IN MY 47 YEARS ON THIS EARTH!!! BECKY FLEMING IS THE SWEETEST PERSON IN THE WORLD BUT ASK TO SPEAK TO HER AND THIS SAME WOMAN THAT ANSWERS THE PHONE IS RUDE AND ACTS AS IF YOU HAVE AN ISSUES FOR ASKING A RATIONAL QUESTION!! THIS IS AN AWFUL PLACE TO LIVE!! I WOULD NOT MOVE HERE EVEN IF I WAS FACED WITH BEING HOMELESS AND THIS WOULD BE FREE!!! I AM SAYING THIS TO SAY THAT THE PROFESSIONALISM OF SOME IS FAR OVER SHADOWED BY THE RUDE BEHAVIOR OF OTHERS!! NO ONE ASKED YOU TO TAKE THIS JOB YOU APPLIED AND SIGNED UP FOR THIS FIELD!!!!!~!!!!! IF YOU DONT CARE FOR THE PAYING COSTUMER PERHAPS YOU SHOULD NOT BE THERE!! THANKS UNHAPPY !!
Willow Creek is the WORST apartment community ever!!! I moved into a Townhome 04/01/2018. I moved out 04/01/2019. I would defiantly stay far away. They make tons of promises when you move in and dont honor them.1) Appliances are out dated.2) Central air conditioner unit barley works. (There are several people on the property with window units hanging out of their apartment.)3) Spider infested. (brown recluse)4) Gated community. (Its only occupied for a couple hours out of the day. Whenever the attendant leaves, the gate is wide open for anybody to come in without checking in.5) The weight room is out dated with equipment from the early 2000s. I was told that they were going to convert one of the indoor racket ball courts into a basketball court. That never happened.6) The trash dumpsters are overran with trash. Outsiders dump trash in the dumpster which leaves a big build up on the ground.7) Trash and water are extra add-ons in your lease. The utilities can add on an extra $100.00 a month to your base rent. You will be charged an additional $50.00 and face eviction for being laying on your utilities.8) General maintenance request can take weeks. I was told that request can take longer because of the large community.9) The office staff is very RUDE especially Maria Murdock!!!10) $1280+ for an outdated Townhouse is ridiculousThere is nothing good that comes from this complex. Good luck to you.
I need the finance lady or the manager to reach out to me in rgds to the last check removing a name from it. I do not want to go through the rude, old receptionist lady.
Ever since the price brothers Stop owning Willow Creek, its truly been a horrible experience for me. When the price brothers owned willow creek, they were on top of everything! We had 24 hour security, a great professional maintenance staff that ALWAYS got the job DONE, and even the people that lived here were great and CLEAN. Now sadly that they left this place has fallen apart! The maintenance staff are unprofessional, and every time they come and fix something its Temporarily fixed for a short amount of time. They fixed my shower and sink about 6-7 times now and its still messed up. We dont have 24 hour security anymore, its pointless to have security because theyre NOT here all the time. My building has gone to trash! Honestly, I believe that they except anybody here. Somebody peeped in the elevator and didnt clean it up, peoples dogs pee on the stairwell, they dont clean it up. All the entrance doors are messing up, theyre difficult to get in at times. The hallways always smell bad ! I know a lot of people who left, because of how bad its getting. I will NOT renew my lease nor recommend anyone to live here, its sad to watch such a good place fall into the ground. Whoever owns Willow Creek, please step up your professionalism, stop being cheep, and watch who you except to work and live here.
I moved in the beginning of September and my Leasing agent Dan was absolutely amazing. I was very nervous about moving, He answered all my questions and the move in process was smooth. Thanks Willow Creek.
The one-star rating is highly overrated. Willow Creek was my worst experience Ive ever had in apartment complex. The carpet was so soiled & worn, I was embarrassed to have friends and family over. I left messages with maintenance supervisor and never received a call back. The security is a joke. The entrance security gate was open most of the time and I didnt feel safe. Someone stole an estimated $450 of items out of my storage locker. Storage locker was inside a locked room and no locks appeared to be tampered with. I have my own suspicions. The leasing consultant Tyahnna Higgs was rude and very unprofessional. She doesnt respond back from emails either. All i can say, it was my worst experience.
I wanted to move here; the apartment layout is wonderful. However, this place needs upgrade real bad. Kitchen appliances are βoldβ and unattractive. The inside of the building is quiet but dirty. The lobby needs a fresh paint job. The apartment doors all need to be replaced along with the nasty hall carpet. Management was very nice and professional but the corporate office definitely needs to put money back into the upkeep of this property. I rated this three stars because of office personnel being so nice.
They had a big fire two nights ago. And had to go back again last night, Fire was caused by a faulty kitchen appliance
I didnt end up living here due to a job offer elsewhere, but wanted to review my excellent customer service from Matthew Spotz. As I was moving from out of state, I was nervous about picking an apartment and place to live, but Matthew assured me about the area and the city in general. I received a full refund from the deposit I put down. He was an excellent communicator, as well as very kind and patient.
A great place to live! Ive been here for almost a year now, and its hard to imagine being anywhere else. The staff are incredibly helpful and welcoming, especially Mrs. Higgs who helped me through the application process.
This has been home for the past 5 years. I have been here under the management of the Price Brothers and LandMark.Willow Creek has been one of the quietest and most friendly placed I have seen in the KC area. The apartments can be on the higher end of the average price range in KC, but its a comfortable place to call home.
My experience with Willow Creek and Ms Higgs was beyond belief. From start to finish Ms Higgs made my experience smooth and easy . She told me what I needed and got me into a fabulous place while providing the best customer service anyone could ask for . Thanks so much I greatly appreciate it .
Heat has been out for a week, during one of the coldest weeks of the year. No communication from staff when it happened, no time line of when it will be resolved. Was just told that at least one of the days this week was warm so theres that. Have been extremely disappointed since new ownership took over. Was a great place prior to that. Doubt heat will be back on this winter.
I have been staying at Willow Creek Apartments since two months. Apartment is clean, great facilities and quick response from office for maintenance. Sorry to see few negative reviews here. Ms. Higgs was very helpful.
Ms. Higgs made my move in a smooth transition. Sheβs friendly, knowledgeable and good at her job. My paperwork process was an easy breezy plus she was very detailed. I would say that with Ms. Higgs as a willow creek representative, I am assured that willow creek would be a comfortable and safe abode for me. Thanks Ms.Higgs
My first apartment ever. When Price Brothers owned I had no complaints whatsoever. The staff was nice, the maintenance ALWAYS came and fixed requests. Whatever company it is from California that took over earlier this year... They suck. The staff is rude. Theyre more than unorganized and I hate living here now. Moving to a Price Brothers location in Kansas. Dont move here. The place is going downhill quick.
Most of the people in the office have been very nice if a little unorganized. Im writing this review, however, in reaction to one manager in particular, Mrs. Higgs, I believe. She was very rude in the way she spoke to me (I was there to pick up laundry keys for a laundry facility ON MY PROPERTY that I wasnt told about) but I felt I needed to write this review because of an interaction that occurred while we were waiting. They didnt have my laundry key ready after I had just called them and they said they were ready so we had to hang around for a few minutes.A young middle eastern man came in to ask about his lease and she, in a loud super aggressive tone said What do you mean you dont know your rent? You cant just come in here and demand things, were in America. She played it off as a joke but my roommate and I were appalled at her tone. The guy was very polite and respectful, bless his heart.I would give Willow Creek a solid 3/5 still very unorganized but that woman needs to be fired. Ive never met some who accosts people for asking her to do her job. 0/10 hate dealing with the WC office because of her.She also told me I should have asked one of the other tenants on my property about the laundry instead of her. Like I asked the office because thats your job??? I went home and tried the laundry doors which were of course not unlocked and had to drive back to WC offices to get the keys anyway.Had they been more proactive in actually answering my questions while I was there the first time we could have avoided all the trouble.
Amazing experience! My boyfriend and our son just moved in, and thanks to the help of Rebecca Meeks, it was a smooth process! She was truly an amazing leasing agent, answered all our questions and made the move in delightful and fun. We look forward to our time here, and are happy to have such a helpful staff at our disposal.
I would give no stars if I could. This is not a premiere community.First, this is NOT a gated community. Residents are forced to go in at only 1 entrance but most of the time it is sitting open, unguarded so anyone can enter. Delivery men gladly jump the black iron fencing to avoid the complicated issue of getting to the residence.Second, if you are on the chiller/heater line forget it. You will not have enough cooling or heating. I had to purchase and install 2 large window AC units for the summer and had multiple space heaters for the winter. Only grace--they pay the electric bill.Manager is crazy, and that is being nice. He calls peoples belongings garbage, even to their face. Then he threatens to evict them because they are living in garbage. Really?? By the way, he is also afraid of boxes attacking him.Management (California/Hawaii owners) does not know what it takes to function in an area of the U.S. where water pipes can freeze during cold weather. When pipes that went to other units, not my own, froze inside my unit because the other units were not properly running water continuously during freezing weather I was expected to immediately leave work, skip it for 3 days, and move large amounts of my belongings to another place in order to accommodate the management. $6000 gone. Make sure you have enough savings to live here.Beware what you are told by the leasing people because they do not know their properties. They actually told me I had a heated garage. Really? My unit wasnt even well heated and certainly there were no heat ducts into my garage.Know how office staff get answers to your questions on the phone--they restate them so that someone else in the office can give them the answer that they then repeat to you. There is a revolving door for the staff, always new.I lived with dripping water pipes from the chiller/heating system in my basement for over 2 years. Essentially they refused to fix them. People in the office would say they thought it had all been taken care of. Maintenance once tried to claim it was sweating pipes--sorry but I know what a leaking pipe joint and sweating pipes look like and they are not the same. Even some of the maintenance staff would agree that there was a leak, but it was never fixed. The leaking pipes from the second floor bathroom were never taken care of either. They would just keep repainting the ceiling below. Wonder how much mold there is in between the 2 floors because of this.Buildings are old and in need of multiple repairs that are not being done.Needless to say, I could go on, and on, and on......This is not a good place to live.
Moved this past summer from Texas and everything has been pretty good here. I enjoy my stay here at Kansas City. Maintenance has came out in a timely matter and good office staff.
I came in today with some questions about my bills, they seemed a bit higher than usual...but I must say that the leasing agent I spoke with (Bethany?) was a delight to work with. She answered all of my questions, and broke it down so it made sense. I was rather rritated when I walked in, and she kept very polite, even offered me coffee. Thanks again!
Trying to move out soon and will have a lawyer give them a letter so I can break my lease without having to pay the other months I still have of rent.So... why am I leaving? Well, do you like spiders? Specifically brown recluse? Well, youre sure to have them here! Its great! Ive had about 5 in the past two months caught and theyve been an ongoing thing since Ive moved here. They also refuse to do anything about them other than spray. Honestly I would stay if it werent for the brown recluse but since they are potentially deadly spiders (have fun with the necrosis if you get bitten!) I cant stay here.I refuse to take their excuse of well theyre common so youll just have to live with them. My parents have owned a house near here for over 15 years, almost 20 and you know how many times Ive seen a brown recluse there? Twice. Its a BS excuse and they know it.They also refuse to do anything about it. I keep asking for maintenance to seal holes in my apartment and they wont come in for that because of the spider reason. These spiders dont even live in my apartment! Theyre coming in from the hallway! I have a spider trap out there too and Im catching them!Staff also tends not to get back to you, at least with the new company that has bought the place. Maintenance was supposed to come almost 5 days ago and just never came. I also asked what could be done to get wifi back into the exercise room (they had it in there before switching over to Google Fiber) and I was told that either A. It was never there (B.S. I used it all the time) B. Just never getting a response back on it.Also, if you think you dont have to worry about the spider problem because you will live on a higher floor, Im on the 3rd floor. If anything you have to make sure you get a floor away from any of the stairs.P.S. they refuse to move you just for potentially dangerous brown recluse spiders.
Trash
From the beginning this has been a mistake. The staff is rude, disrespectful and LIARS. I have been here for six months and I am still waiting for things to be fixed from when I first moved in. Every interaction I have had with the staff in the office has been bad except when they are getting my hard earned money. There is always something in the common areas broken such as the door that has been broken for about a month and they still havenβt fixed it. The police are always here yet every time I walk in my building it smells like a pound of weed. Had to air out my house today because it was so bad. But I was told today by Maria in the office I can go live under a bridge and it wasnβt her problem. Letβs just say I hope I make it to the end of my lease but I think I may just break my lease and leave.
I have lived a Willow Creek for a year it has been an ok experience previously I had lived in the same complex for over ten years. We were in the Center School District no problems. Now this Willow Creek got game they get you in here you pay and pay then you ask for up grade nope no transfer. No down size nothing you call Landmark oh yeah not in Kansas City Called San Francisco where Im informed this is there policy. Well all that is great if you would put this information out there prior to moving in so people will understand that you are stuck like chuck. Then you ask about six month lease nope we dont do that that just changed this January. Once again thanks for the notice this is the most outrageous reality company there is and your place falling down in ratings.its so sad because it could be great youre letting him run you in the ground and then hell walk away to his next mess.
Mrs. Higgs has been so great to me throughout this entire process and made everything so easy! 10 stars! βΊοΈ
This complex didnt accept my application right off and refusing to refund $450.I was told they would take me w bad credit if I paid an additional 150 dep. So I paid 40 nonrefundable application fee, 300+150 dep & now they dont want to refund it. See you in court.
DO NOT MOVE IN THESE APARTMENTS!!!!Willow Creek screwed us over so many times. They gave us the run around for 2 weeks when we tried to non-renew our lease, one person told us we needed it notarized so we couldnt non renew that day due to both of us working, so the next day we went back to get the form and take it to get it notarized and a different girl told us we didnt need a notary. We asked THREE times when we had to non-renew and were told 30 days. With them knowing we were not renewing no one said a word, but then we received a letter under our door (After we had already moved out, signed our lease and paid rent for our new place) That we were not in compliance with our lease and that we will automatically be renewed for the month of June for the amount of $849.00. Even though our rent was only $679. the lease does in fact say that, I should have read it, but you would think the employees would tell you the correct information after asking them 3 times. I got kicked out of the pool several times, mainly because obviously the employees there give you false information. 1 time being because I had a beer (when I was told I could have it as long as it was not a bottle) Then because I had ONE friend with me that didnt live there on a Sunday, you may not have friends there on weekends. Their rules are ridiculous and they will mislead you any chance they get and make you pay extra money. No matter how good of a tenant you are they will screw you over no matter what.
In the first month of living in this building, we discovered that the AC was broken before we even moved in. we submitted a maintenance request form as soon as we figured out that it wasnt working. I called about it again after some time had passed and I learned that the request was never submitted. So I submitted another and a repair man showed up to fix it. The damage was already done though.Me and my brother got strapped with a $500 electric bill because of it and a month is the new complex had just gone by. We submitted a request to talk to the owner, but he was on vacation. For the next 9 weeks, we stoped by the office to ask if he had returned and he hadnt. On week 10 we submitted another resident concern form and he finally returned. I left him a voicemail asking him to look at our problem and to meet with us to discuss a reasonable solution. I never heard lick or shine from him.Me and brother are fresh out of college and full time workers. $500 on electricity in the first month is outrageous, waiting 10 weeks to never talk to the owner is unacceptable, loosing our maintenance requests is beyond unprofessional, and straight up ignoring us is inexcusable. The owner had better not expect us to say good things about this complex to our friends and he had better not expect us to stay another year.
Have you made it Home yet? I have thanks to Ms. Higgs working tirelessly to get me in my new apartment in aweekβs time. She worked tirelessly to get me in my new home. I was presented with no funny business in acquiring my great ground floor apartment and made sure my amenities were all function able.
Ms. Higgs was fantastic. Could not have asked for anything more. I needed a place asap for moving for a job and she got me approved faster than Ive ever seen before. When its a fit, its a fit, and she didnt waste a second for us. One of the hardest workers and kindest representatives Ive ever met when looking for apartments. Thank you Ms. Higgs!
Hello as stressful as finding somewhere to live can be ...I FINALLY FOUND IT...Willow Creek is my new home and I am forever grateful. The process was stress free and I couldnβt have done it with out the help of my Leasing consultant Miss Higgs. Miss Higgs was very patient with me and we found the perfect unit in a timely manner.#willowcreekapts
Ms. Higgs is great, the application process, moving in, she is just wonderful. Willow Creek mangers does not work with you what so ever. If you have a hardship in life or just need another week to pay they do not care!!!! Eviction process starts ASAP!!!
Rebecca was wonderful! She really took care of all my needs! I am so blessed to know her. And the property is amazing! The maintenance staff is on top of things. I have had a great experience. Im glad I chose this place.
I am a recent tenant and find that all matters are handled promptly. My move in process was smooth as my leasing agent, Ms. Higgs is a joy to be around. Her thorough knowledge of the facilities and contracting process made this transition a speedy yet gracefull opportunity. Thank you all.
Non stop issues with amenities specifically the air conditioning. building runs on a cold water system that apparently feeds my entire building. Its either been off or broken 75% of the summer. People in the office give attitude instead of anything close to a solution. Very disappointed..
I was looking for some affordable apartments last minute in the kc area online and I had came across willow creek so I had clicked on the link to their site and was very pleased so I had called the office number when a lady had picked up and scheduled me the same day to come in and check out the units. She had all the answers to every question I could possibly ask ! Her name was Mrs.Higgs! She was Phenomenal during the whole apartment search. The move in was quick and she just did everything she could to make sure I was happy. Now this is also my very first apartment so she definitely wonβt be forgotten. Iβve been living here for a week now and I absolutely love it ! Itβs quite, close to everything and really just the ideal place. But I owe it all to Mrs.Higgs Iβm really mad I could only give her 5 stars because she really deserves 10!
Wonderful place to live. Had an issue with a leaky sink, and reported it to Georgia, she notified maintenance and the problem was taken care of within 24 hours. Wonderful service from everyone that I have spoken too thus far.
I pay rent for 8 months straight. I was late one time and now Im being evicting Even when I bought The past due amount. They didnt care They gave it back to me Im a US Military Veteran and Ive never been so dishonored and humiliated. Ive never been evicted. I went to court and alot of charges were added making it impossible for me to pay. A total of $2200+. I could have caught up Now Im facing my credit being destroyed. I worked hard to get my credit score And just like that willow Creek Apartments wants to destroy it.
I dont even live here! Called and asked if they had any 3 bedroom townhouses! I was passed to a leasing agent named Dan. I introduced myself and stated what I needed. Only thing he said was We dont have any I was like okay will you have some in the future! He said NO. I thought that was very unprofessional! Gave no follow up or alternatives at all. Apparently I must have caught him on a bad day! But if this is a respentation of what I just avoided I am thankful!
Weve been living here for 4 months. All I can say is they dont fix anything that needs to be fixed and they sure will not work with you when youre late on rent.
I enjoy my apartment for the price and its been a good experience so far. The office staff always makes me feel welcomed and theres been much improvement in the past couple of months.
The staff is friendly and accommodating. Very nice apartments. 10/10 would recommend.
Great place. The staff makes everything easy on us. Any problems with my apartment are promptly resolved.
If you care about safety then this is not the place for you!Let me tell you why: The Gated Community has a gate that is maned by random employees that let anyone through, at the most someone only needs to know your name and address to get in through the gate. (Basically a human gate) Which they now have being manned during normal business hours which is just stupid and inconvenient. 3 people, three people have been shot and killed here in this Gated Community in the last year that I have lived here. Feel safe? Well I did until my neighbor had told me because the management wont tell you anything of this sort. It took the death of man before they decided to hire Titan Security to patrol. Which hey, that makes you feel safe until you realize that they arent actually here all the time and that the response time is actually worse than the police because of their location. The apartment buildings run off a call to buzz in system. Feels safe right? Well most the time doors are propped open or the garage doors are broken so people can just walk in at anytime making your apt door your only protection measure.Story Time: Last month I had broken up with my girlfriend. Her father was not too keen on this or he was not happy about this for whatever reason. Because he knew my name and address he was able to easily get by the gate and made it to my building. Then he called my door buzzer. I ignored it be I was not expecting anyone to come over. 2 minutes later there was knocking at my door. I told him to leave but he was still knocking for over 20 minutes and I had to call the police and even called Titan Security. He was there for another 10-15 minutes and left before the police showed up. Titan Security never showed up. So yeah I feel completely safe living here, wouldnt you?As for other issues, Ive had people put their trash bags full of trash on my car and management never did anything, they say they did but I got no reconciliation or compensation for the grief and potential damage to my car that it caused. There have also been countless people that smoke weed in the building flooding the halls with the terrible skunk smell, make a complaint? They wont care. And then people who park in the garage without paying for it and they still dont investigate it, meanwhile you continue to pay the extra $30 a month for using the garage while this random person gets it for free. The amenities are good if you are a senior citizen, with bingo red hat lady meeting and casino trips. There is no grill and they dont allow you to have your own. They do have 2 racket ball courts (cause why not right?) and a shoddy gym which is only open till 8. Washer and dryer are only working half the time and the dryer vents are duct tapped. The clubhouse has a tv from the 90s and furniture to match so again if you are over 60 youre gonna love it. Your water bill is based on building use regardless of how much you use if you use any at all and to make it even batter they have all hose faucets turned off so if you want to wash your car fat chance you better just go to a car wash. Which reminds me of the countless homeless people that live on the trail next door that sometimes creep over into the complex because why not, they have a fence but it doesnt go all the way around and the gates are wide open. And finally now that my lease is over, they want to bump the rent up by 75 dollars??? What??? No I dont think so, and if you need to get out of your lease good luck because they dont allow it, and if you go month to month its an extra $100 per month. I will not be recommending this place to anyone. This place was cheaper than other apartments which was the only reason I chose to live here despite its age. When there are other nearby apartments which are now the same price that have better amenities and are newly renovated. Willow Creek just dropped the ball.Nice things that I can say is that the staff excluding management have always been awesome and lovely to talk to. They do have a good face for their business.
Mrs. Higgs made the process of getting my apt very easy she was very detailed and made sure I u derstood everything before signing anything..
