Ray and Tim have decades of experience, and our cars always come back to us looking and feeling like new!This year my husband and I each treated the other to an auto detailing as one of the most appreciated gifts we could ever give or receive. My Sienna and his Acura both came out as fabulous as we’d hoped.I trust these guys. They do an outstanding job at a reasonable price. Huh. Based on other reviews, I feel like the owner regrets putting out the Groupon deal and its maybe reflected in the service you get? He was indifferent, barely looked up from what he was doing at his desk. I called at 5:15 to confirm my car would be ready by 6 before we take off with three kids to go pick it up, get there, and its another 30 minutes out. Steering wheel and dash feel grimy, seats are wet, and this morning had an awful mildew smell. Employees were nice and I appreciated that they washed the exterior as well, but we wont be back. If youre planning on buying the Groupon, I probably would go somewhere else.

Had our interior carpets and upholstery shampooed and cleaned. No more funky smell. The owner, Ray, was a pleasure to work with!

I happen to be an older adult who was early on exposed to the “please the customer first” service of gasoline stations. They cleaned all windows, checked your oil, gave you a nice smile and pumped your gas as you somehow pleasantly passed the time without an iPhone. That was 1969.Ratchet forward to 2021. Unexpectedly charismatic “Ray” the owner of Car Clinic bolts toward and greets me in the way I have not experienced since 1969.My 2010 Prius was in need of both an extensive exterior and interior cleansing.I was totally satisfied. I will return.Ray will give you the caring personal concern that is sorely missed today while suppling the product satisfaction you hoped to drive away with.Bill Farrar

NOT Reputable - Used a gift Groupon for the Ultimate Platinum Service for a 28 year-old 2-seat convertible. Left car there for 10 hours. Wash, wax, carpet and upholstery cleaning were fine. The dirty trunk was never opened, half of the air vents and the roof interior still had 15 years of dust, the plastic window and surrounding vinyl, the center console, glove compartment, ALL were not touched, vacuumed or cleaned. The passenger seatbelt was tangled with the recline lever making the seatbelt and seat adjustment unusable. AND THE A/C BUTTON WAS MISSING! The guy said theyd get me a replacement button, and after my prompting the next day, he texted they were still looking for one. I even sent him eBay links where he could get one. I NEVER HEARD BACK FROM THEM AGAIN! So, the car was not really detailed, even though it was half the size of a regular sedan, and the business didnt care about the vintage $25 button that they lost and I had to replace.

I bought a Groupon for $135. When I brought my car in, he told me my crossover subaru forester is an oversized vehicle, and charges me another $40, despite being told i would not get charged extra over the phone when i made my appointment. To justify this extra cost, he says hes got plenty of business and plans on discontinuing Groupon, apparently at my expense. Since I cant return my Groupon, I am strongarmed at Rays mercy. I was told I could pick up the car at 5 since my wife doesnt get off work until that time and couldnt give me a ride.Fast forward 5 hours later at 2:30pm, I receive a call from the owner of the establishment who begins to breathe heavily in a dramatic fashion, and pleads with me in these exact words, Hey man, we dying out here. Its too hot, we cant work. Im gonna leave your key beneath your tire and send people home.First off, Im not your boss, you are. Be a professional. I paid for a service, so honor it. Ray, youre the boss at this establishment, the fact that you acted like you were dying over the phone and then walking tall without a drop of sweat on your shirt when you handed me the receipt says it all. This place is garbage.Id spend some extra and give my business to REAL professionals.

I highly recommend this auto salon for your car-cleaning needs. I purchased a full platinum detail and they made my 2015 model car look brand new again!The owner and staff were highly professional and very communicative. The price for their platinum detail is very competitive to other companies in the Kansas City Area.I have told all of my friends and family about this experience and wouldnt go anywhere else for cleaning needs.Thumbs up!!

This place is terrible. The boss is truly unprofessional and I am convinced he lives there, with the way he answers his phone. Who the heck just says Hello? over the phone when running a business that runs on appointments? They dont clean the trunks and the carpets dont get shampood. The boss is unprofessional and has inconsistent pricing. Going back Shammerific Shine instead. More expensive, but youre getting Johnson County style cleaning. This place is trash.

My car had some stains on the seats and needed a good cleaning inside and out. As soon as I walked into the building I spoke with the owner and informed him what I wanted and he assured me that he was going to provide everything that I was looking for.I was very pleased with the quality and service that I received from them my stains are gone and my car is clean inside and out. I am definitely coming back to bring other vehicles to get detailed.

How this place has more than a one-star rating is astonishing to me. We made an appointment for their Platinum service and was told to drop the car off between 8AM and 8:30AM. When we arrived at the required time I was told that we could pick it up later that day between 5:30 and 6PM. When we arrived a little after 5:30PM, we were told that it wasnt ready. Not like it will take a few minutes then were done, but we havent even started not ready. Totally frustrating. Maybe a phone call would have been nice? I understand if something happens and youre not able to get it done on time, but this was a total disregard of common courtesy. We had to make the hour long round trip to find out that we needed to do this all over again the next day. Awesome. Fast forward to the next day. I called to confirm that it was actually done and was told yes. We get there to pick it up and immediately saw how little was actually done. I pointed out several stains that were still on the carpet, what appeared to be dried ice cream on the rear speakers, dirt still in the vents; I could go one. And their version of shampooing the interior consists of them spraying some cleaner from a spray bottle, then using a drill with a buffing attachment to work the solution in, and finishing by using a wet/dry vac.....it may be semantics, but that is certainly not what I would consider shampooing the seats and carpet. I feel like you get a much better result using the local gas station car wash for $10. And to top it all off, we got to stand in the hot sun for 45 minutes while they scrambled to go over the interior again. Such a joke. I wouldnt take my car back to them it they paid me the money to do over.

Took my car there yesterday for detailing. When i went to pick it up, my car looked and smelled like new. Everything was impeccably clean and i couldnt be happier with the service provided.The staff is extremely friendly, and they are hard working people. Will definitely be taking my car to be cleaned again.

2019 Subaru crosstrek.My car needed to get clean, spent the summer traveling all over the country and put almost 6k miles in 3 months, car camping with my dog, I was time for a deep clean. The inside of my car was a mess, smelled bad with dog hare everywhere. Ray owns the business and he made sure I was taken care of. I dropped my car off for the day, and was able to pick it up by the afternoon. Im a big fan of supporting small business and i will be returning here to get anymore work done to my car.

I brought our truck in for cleaning after purchasing a Groupon. I figured it would be tough to make it look really good because my husband smoked and spilled drinks in it all the time. I had just bought my car, the seats were stained from top to bottom from cigarette smoke, the car had a bad cigarette smell, and even the doors were stained. When I picked up the car the interior looked almost brand new! The price for the interior cleaning is cheaper and a much more affordable price than most detailing shops. I will definitely be coming back if I ever need the inside cleaned like this again.

Great staff, friendly people. They did an amazing job on the interior of my car which was my biggest concern. They also did a great job with cleaning the engine bay. The only reason why I didn’t give 5 stars is because the exterior wasn’t the greatest. I mentioned to one of the staff there that I had paint in between the crack and door jams and that’s one of the focuses. The paint was not cleaned up and also the bottom trims by the wheels wasn’t cleaned properly.

I purchased a car, that was absolutely disgusting inside it. Filthy from the carpet all the way up the seats, thedash, everything was absolutely terrible and I took it down the car clinic . and I got it back yesterday and it looks like a new car on the inside they did an absolutely fantastic job for me. Ray and his guys do a great job! I took our Audi Q5 in to get detailed and it looks better than the day we bought it. There was even a small scratch going down the side that they were able to buff out. Best place to get your car detailed in KC, especially for the price.

Terrible terrible terrible. I took my truck here for a complete interior and exterior detail. They charged 150.00. Did not shampoo carpets or seats. Did not steam clean engine. My wife is super happy! I had Ray and his team do an Interior Detail and it looks like a million bucks. I have a 10 year old mini van that hauls kids to baseball fields daily. You would never tell by looking at it. This is the third time I have gone to Ray and all of my expectations have been met. Even my wifes expectations were met!

I picked up my car today and I was in shock by how amazing my car looked! I have a dog, who’s hair has been impossible to remove myself; and they were able to! Definitely exceeded my expectations and will be back again! 10/10 would recommend!!!

My car needed a good clean so I got a Groupon. Set up a time with Ray over text and everything was smooth sailing - dropped off in the morning, picked up at the end of the day. He did a fabulous job and my car truly looks as good as new. No vent or other things left untouched like some other reviews say. Would absolutely recommend!

This crew was amazing. I took my truck there and left with it looking like new inside and out. And, my truck is a 2001. I couldnt be happier and would recommend them highly. They were extremely friendly and responsive to all aspects of my service.

Everyone was very nice there and super helpful! Definitely as others have said be prepared to leave your car there all day. My car looked fantastic when I picked it up and I was very pleased. They did miss my rear view mirror, but thats not a big deal given on how much a mess it was. When I arrived at the time stated it would be done, I did have to wait an hour for my car. I think this caused everyone to forget my mats when I left! I still have to go pick them up. Overall very satisfied with the service!!

First we waited til the last minute to use our Groupon to have our detailing done, and they got us in no problem!! Mostly importantly they did an AMAZING JOB! We have 2 big black labs and you would never know after the job they did! I cant remember the last time our car looked this good! We will definitely be back!

I called and someone picked up, “Hello.” “Uh, hello. Do you take appointments or is it first come, first served?” “We do appointments but we’re closed today.”But as you can see, they do have someone there picking up the phone to let you know they’re closed. If you look at their own website, it says they’re open Saturday from 8 until 3. I called at 9am.

Got items stolen from truck. Owner seemed cooperative but never followed up with what he said. Admitted he knew who stole items but did nothing. Ray the owner doesn’t care about customers, only making a $ and washing his hands. Why hire people you know steal? Didn’t even really wash truck and got inside all muddy. Truck was brand new and only had 400 miles on it and it looked horrible. Don’t use this company ever

If I could give less than 1 star I would. DO NOT GO HERE. I purchased this Groupon and just had my detailing done. They had it from 8a-5p on Saturday and it wasnt even finished when I came to get it and was told it would be finished at 3:30p. The interior still had staining all over the seats, the dash and all hard surfaces had not even been touched, the vents were still full of dust etc. I pointed all of this out and they said they would fix it and to come back Monday at 7:30a. I did this and the car still was not done. I had to be at work so I took it upon my self to clean it out later on. I bought cleaning wipes and got so much dirt off of everything. There were footprints still on the back of my seats from my kids that came right off when I cleaned it. My mats had not been cleaned and were still full of dirt and dried grass. Im not sure what I paid for them to detail but this was the worst experience I have ever had. My seats were all stained and Ray assured me that the stains could not be removed. I went and bought a five dollar can of armor-all and used wash rags and hot water. Every one of those stains came out. This place is a rip off. Not only did they lie to me by telling me that my car had been detailed, they wont refund me.

Excellent Service and Results at Car Clinic Auto Salon. I met Ray a couple of weeks ago and learned that he has his own vehicle detailing business. He recently detailed my Infiniti SUV and I am absolutely thrilled with the results! I feel like I have a brand new car again. They do excellent work here and I would strongly recommend that you make the trip over to his business. Ray is honest, affordable, and dependable. I cant say enough good things about my experience there. My vehicle was a mess, and Im talking kids mess inside my car, french fries and grime everywhere MESS. It came back the same afternoon sparkling clean on the inside and out. I was shocked. Professional detailing better than what Id paid double for elsewhere. Ray and his crew did a great job of detailing my 2012 Toyota Corolla this weekend (I had purchased the Platinum Full Detail special on groupon). My car has been taken on several long travels across the US/Canada and had accumulated a lot of dirt inside and badly needed a good cleaning.

I had the full detail done on my Mazda 3 hatchback and they did a great job. The car was sullied with dog hair and had not had a full clean, pretty much ever. When you take a car to get detailed you should expect the details to be taken care of and they do that and more here. Definitely more than just a car wash and vacuum that some people are.

Hands-down, the best interior detailing job ever! We called the day before to see if they could squeeze us in to wash the interior of our large Ford E350 van, it was funky to say the least, stains everywhere, they actually made it look brand new and sparkling!! we picked it up later that evening, and Im actually considering not selling the vehicle as it originally intended because it looks so good LOL. Super nice people, very friendly, explained the process to me, and hands-down will come back to this place for all of our detailing needs, and you definitely should too!!

As I am writing this the owner handed me a bottle of ice cold Poland spring and said its too hot out, enjoy it on the house. This is true old school quality that isnt found anymore in the industry.

They did a great job! My two dogs drive in the car with me a lot and the backseat was covered in dog hair. I got a platinum full detail - dropped my car off around 8:30am and picked it up later that afternoon and the dog hair was gone! My trunk was also covered in dirt, sticks, etc from camping and that looked great too. Everyone was very nice, especially Ray. Thank you to everyone who made my car look brand new again!

Ray and his team did an IMMACULATE detail job on my Toyota Solara. It was the best job I have ever had done on a car. I will always use the Car Clinic to have my car done. I had a Groupon but I certainly received full price service. Beautiful job!!

I bought a used Jeep that had been through the wringer, the sunroof had leaked and water had been left to stain and stink up the interior. There were rust stains and mildew in the carpets, seats and headliner; a layer of gunk on the dash and console. Despite my best efforts cleaning it on my own, it just looked dingy. I heard about Car Clinic Auto Salon and thought Id give them a try. I wasnt expecting miracles, just hoping it would be cleaner than when I dropped it off. Ray called me to tell me that they had been working on it for 5 hours, but would need a little more time to get it up to their standards. When I went to pick it up, I couldnt believe the transformation, it looked like a new car, Rays team shampooed the interior and removed stains from the carpet, seats and headliner. Every crevice was cleaned out and the exterior and engine were shiny and clean too. I will definitely be back and would recommend them highly if your car needs a little TLC.

The guys did a great job on my van. I could not believe the transformation from basically a rolling dumpster to almost showroom new. Cant thank them enough, they are thorough and the masters of clean.

Only place I would go for detail cleaning, wax, and upholstery. I have kids and pets and #carclinic is #1 in car care. Also the staff takes pride in their work.

Awful experience. Left my car with them and during the detail they left a car door open for an extended period of time which killed the battery. This is fine and all if you know how to jump a car but instead it was reverse jumped. After trying to jump the car they blew the main fuse. They didnt know what happened so to try and make the car start a new battery was purchased without my permission. I had to call a tow truck to get my car towed to Don Perdue down the street to determine what happened. What went from a 1-2 day detail turned into a 4 day nightmare. To top it all off, they were not going to pay me for the cost of the tow, new battery, or work/diagnostic at Don Perdue. Upon finally getting them to agree it took 2 weeks to get my money back that I was out of pocket. The detail was not good as well. There was dirt and dust all over my car after sitting outside and the trunk wasnt fully cleaned as well. They did offer to clean my car again, but why would I want to take my car back there and waste more time, especially with what I had just gone through. Buyer beware

I was very pleased with the results, Ray and his crew were very nice to me and very assuring so I will be recommending his services to family and friends.

Dropped a Jeep Liberty for cleaning. Three days later car was not ready. On day I was told car is ready but when I went for pick up stains was on all seats . I asked them and it resulted of their product. They asked me for additional days to power wash the chairs, went back two later to find more stains than previously so took the car and found out that my tire replacement kit is missing . They recognize that they took them out but could not find it. They again asked me to give two days to look for it, 3 days later I called them and they confirmed that they found the kit. I drove there again and another piece was missing . Up to date they refused to give me back my tire replacement kit. If you are ready to go through all this then go there; if not find a different place. Their work is bad, they do not care about your time and their customers service skills is worst than anything you might think of. This place does not deserve even Zero Star

Terrible results, my car was fairly clean when I brought it in. I just bought new tires and was hoping a detail would really make my car shine like new. About half of the surfaces of my car where wiped down, and the other half were neglected completely. They removed/ broke off some plastic panneling including the lever to open my gas cap. Thankfully they at least left the pieces in my vehicle so I could reattach them myself. I was also told to wait 24 hours before replacing the floor mats to allow everything to dry and when I went to replace the ones in the rear, I discovered my car was flooded so badly that the water had pooled in the rear floor. I contacted the shop which ignored me completely for a couple of days, then when they finally got back to me they asked me to come back to fix it after 3 more days, which I obviously could not do because I could not allow the water to sit in my vehicle for an entire week, so I took it upon myself to have it cleaned elsewhere. All in all ZERO stars.

Avoid this shop like the plague. I dropped my vehicle off at 8 am for a full platinum detail and was told to come back to pick it up at 5 pm. I arrived at 445 pm and was told by an employee that they had not even started working on my car. I spoke with the owner by phone and told him at this point I just wanted a refund and would go elsewhere. The owner proceeded to yell and scream at me telling me that he would have his crew put it in the shop and get it done right away, I told him I needed to be back on the road by 5 pm and he said his crew could do that no problem. A complete detail in 15 minutes??? I informed the employee I was talking to that I was leaving which I did. What a nightmare.

Really disappointed with the outcome. Was told to bring my car at 8am, pickup at 330.Car was not done until 6 and the work looked sloppy. I paid for their most expensive service and mentioned three times that my priority was to get rid of mildew smell and also wet sand a scratch on the front bumper. They literally could have skimped on everything else and just done those two jobs to satisfy me. Smell is still there and they didnt even touch the scratch. When I pointed this out to an employee he said, yeah that needs a wet sand, like I hadnt just paid for one... I think there are actually a few scuffs on the cabin ceiling that werent there before.
