Just went to this barber shop for the first time and Mitch gave me the best cut of my life. Shop is really clean and has a very welcoming, laid back vibe. Everything was very professional from check in to checkout, definitely check them out if you’re in KC!

The best barber Ive ever been to. The entire crew is very professional and welcoming while delivering the best haircuts in town. The shop has always been extremely clean whenever Ive been there, and their response to the Covid-19 pandemic has been phenomenal. Outside of times of a pandemic they offer a beverage while you wait / during your service, and some great conversation. Scheduling an appointment is very easy in-person or online.

Excellent barbershop, and Brea is the best!

This is my favorite barber shop in KC. They have a great shop culture that’s warm and welcoming to everyone, and I love the attention to detail that they put into their cuts. Ive referred a lot of friends here, and most of those referrals are now also regulars. It’s located in a shared space with East+West which is a very well curated men’s clothing store with brands you can’t find elsewhere.

Venturemen is always on point. Great service, quality cuts, good conversation. I always leave looking way better than I deserve.

Very relaxed and welcoming. Ive never been to a barber before and walking with no notion of what to expect i was a little nervous. The staff was friendly, got a feel for how Ive been wearing my hair and beard, chatted about how Id like it and went to work. They made me comfortable and the results were great. I couldnt have asked for a better first experience.

Youd be hard pressed to get a better cut, shave, or beard trim at twice the price (or at all).Dane cut my sons hair starting at 3, and does a great job with kids too.Also taking the pandemic seriously and applying appropriate precautions (bring your mask!).

Outstanding in every respect. As soon as I walked in I was offered coffee. Dane and another barber introduced themselves. The environment is welcoming, bright, and tastefully designed. Dane and I chatted for a bit about my hair and ideas that we both had. Once he began, other folks started coming in for their appointments and the place felt like an old barbershop. Everyone was engaged in conversation and having a great time. As far as the actual cut? Dane really took his time on me. He thoughtfully cut each section of my hair while explaining why he was doing it that way. I opted for a beard trim as well. I’ve had a beard for 10 years and it has honestly never looked this good. At the end of the cut I felt that I had a full and expertly led experience. Look, this isn’t a dime store shop. Like a lot of things in this world, you get what you pay for. Venturemen is high quality and worth every penny.

I found Venturemen after moving to KC last year. I had a couple of not so satisfying cuts around the area. Through some questioning about my haircuts and very strong suggestion I tried Venturemen. I now have my place and community. Venturemen was great for me to find out about KC. The family at Venturemen has their finger on the pulse of the city.Venturemen is very professional, very good covid prevention habits, amazingly clean shaves, great products, and (pre-covid) great place to socialize before your cut. I also gained some great friends.

Been twice now. Very chill atmosphere and the haircuts that come out of there are always sharp. They also have clothes available for sale that are hip, but Im an old and probably cant pull off that look anymore.

Been here a few times this summer to get my head shaved by a Pro. Mitch is my Go 2 here when I need a shave and hes Never let me down! Was easy to make an appointment and get my foot in the door here. Always a pleasure to come down into the Crossroads and Enjoy all the new businesses in the neighborhood while Im here. Mitch is great! He has great talent and is also just a cool guy to be around. I love the atmosphere. The haircut includes a shampoo/condition treatment, a hot towel, neck shave, and a free clean up 2 weeks later to stay looking fresh.

Excellent beard cut yesterday at Venturemen Barbering. Very progressive but yet maintains the tradition that you find in a small town barber shop.

You can’t go wrong with Venturemen. Both Dane and Mitch are fantastic at their craft and will make sure you leave with a haircut that makes you feel like a million bucks. The second you enter the shop (after checking out the clothing at East+West on the way in!) you’ll be greeted by two guys who care about their customers. I’ve been to many other barber shops in town, but Venturemen goes above and beyond.

I went to the block party at the West bottoms this company was there doing trims. I had my beard trimmed well I asked for a trim and shape the guy cut over 2 inches off the full length of my beard some places more like 5 inches off. Butchered my beard cut it lopsided completely disregarded what I asked for. Worst part was the first thing he said was this was his first time doing this. He said he was joking I even told him I dont normally let people cut my beard since they dont listen to what you want after seeing what he did I believe it was his first time. I understand this wasnt at the store but it was still the company being down there and showing what they stand for. I understand if you dont feel comfortable with what someone wants just say you cant do it dont just start hacking away.
