For my sons 18th birthday I thought it would be fun to take him to get his first professional shave. They were great! The guy who did it took his time, really put a lot of effort into making it perfect! My son was VERY happy with it and so was I! Thank you!

An atrocity.my boyfriend went here to get his hair braided by monyae (braids by yae) and we will never be returning. not only did we have to push our appointment back 30 minutes from the time listed on the website SHE GAVE US, the service was worse than subpar.keep in mind that she rushed through this entire appointment!!-she didn’t use a parting comb - instead she ripped through his hair with a pick and STILL had it come out crooked.-the products she used were ridiculously cheap, i’m pretty sure i’ve seen the oil she used at the dollar store.-one of the braids is FRIZZY. noticeably frizzy.-she didn’t use mousse at the end?? she just finished braiding and then started asking for payment.-the design is not what he asked for. most of the braids are the same thickness when the design he wanted clearly has braids of varying widths.and on top of all of that, she charged ***$65.***i would 1000% recommend you GO SOMEWHERE ELSE.

I take my son here and Clint is the best barber by far. He is professional, friendly and fast. My son doesn’t want any other barber cutting his hair

Clinton is the first person to cut my sons hair that has made it look exactly like I wanted it to, with an added bonus of an immaculate lightning bolt on the side just in time for his 5th birthday party. Ive taken my son to specifically kids hair places before and they definitely dont measure up to the cut he got today. We will be back to KC Master Kutz and would highly recommend it to anyone looking for a great cut, custom designs and a positive experience.

They rarely answer the phone and don’t return voicemails. I finally made an appointment with Dwayne after several phone calls. When I showed up the shop was locked, no one was there and no one answered the phone.

I went to this place last month and asked for a simple fade and to not cut the top. They did the fade and it looked good, but they cut the top, unlike I said. They are also so aggressive and I feel like they are trying to break my neck. I probably won’t go back to this place.

Professional, 1st time here yesterday and I got cleaned up very well, Jay knows what hes doing, he takes his time and makes sure the lines are clean. Havent had this great of a haircut since I lived in ATL. New fade and lined my beard up perfectly. Truly was a Master Kut 10/10 would recommend

This is best Barber shop in the Northland! It always very nice and clean and a great atmosphere. They have a all star group of skilled experienced barbers in Kevin, Clinton, and Cleon. Any of these guys can give you a great haircut and you wont have to worry about getting a bad hair cut like when you walk into a place like sports clips.I love that I can book my appointment online and when arrive for my appointment they are ready for me or very shortly after. Most places you are sitting around waiting and its hard to schedule a cut during the work day. With KC Master Kutz you can get in and get out in a timely manner. If you havent checked out KC Master Kutz and you live in the Kansas City Northland than you are missing out. Check them out and you wont be disappointed.

The shop was very clean and had a nice atmosphere. Clinton was my barber and was very professional and kind. This is one of the better barbershops in the Northland that I have been to and will return regularly for great service.

I was highly embarrassed to the un-courtesy customers service melted on me during my visit to this shop. Yes, l did miss my appointment time, but one of the guys there so lack sense of customers service. So rude to the extent he ushered (l mean pushed) my kids out of the shop, while l was still having conversation with one of his other colleagues who was trying to explain things to me. So inhuman!!! I will advise this individual to learn to appreciate and manage his customers (clients) so so poor attitude and uncultured manners!!!

It was an honor being apart of KC Master Kutz in 2020. Really clean shop, really friendly and safe environment. Each member of the team treated me like family and I picked up jewels from every experience. I recommend a service from them all. Whether it’s Kev (the people person), Clint (the passionate conversationalist) or Cle (the silent assassin) you will undeniably get more than what you paid for. There’s also a stylist/ braider Monyae and she’s an intelligent professional with a sweet personality. I tilt my hat to everything KC Master Kutz exemplifies.

This was my first time at KC MasterKutz and Clint did a great job. Its a very laid back atmosphere and you can tell they are serious about their craft. The shop is very clean and they made sure that everyone that stopped by was following the rules as soon as they stepped in the door. Id give them 6 stars if I could. I see Cle every 2 weeks and have seen him the last couple of years. His cut is consistently solid. I always look forward to my haircut. The shop is super nice. Bunch of big screen TVs so you always can catch games if they are on during your cut.

Cant say enough about KC Master Kutz! They are professional, have great atmosphere appropriate for all and the shop is always clean. When a barber at another shop messed up my sons hair, I was able to get in promptly and I was extremely pleased with the cut. Since then, my sons cut has come out fresh every time. All of the Barbers are excellent but I would highly recommend Kevin!

I will start off by saying I have been trying to find a local barber I could make my regular spot for mine and my sons haircuts. I have been to all the chain places around my area and was never 100% satisfied with the results. KC Master Kuts is my spot now!! My haircut was done by TK and I couldn’t be happier with the results. I was in the chair for an hour while TK perfected my cut. Also I would like to say that the barber shop has a great atmosphere and great conversation. Kev is a master at his craft. His business is very professional looking with a modern sporty vibe. Kev and the other barbers there are very friendly and accommodating. It is a no cussing atmosphere and they are cognizant of what is on their T.V. when little children are around. I have never had a bad cut from Kev nor have I seen any shoddy work from him or the other barbers. Lastly, its a modern shop that allows debit/credit cards as well as booking your haircut appointments online for months in advance. KC Master Kutz is the best barbershop in the Northland bar none.

I’ve spent several years fighting to get in to Chop Tops and paying through the nose for a decent haircut. I’m really glad to have found this place. I can’t stress this enough-you’ll want to set up an appointment. If I would have walked in, I’d have been waiting a long time. A lot of people walked in during my visit and it was very busy. All the barbers take their time. My haircut took 40 minutes and it was the same for the other folks. All the stylists at Chop Tops and most any other place I’ve been to take about 20 minutes not including the shampoo and style which I never want anyway, and you see the difference the extra time spent on the cut makes. TK’s cut is the first one I can remember that really impressed. I’ve never said a haircut turned out perfectly, until this one. I’ll definitely be back to see TK. And everyone else’s cuts were looking great as well.

Great new barber shop, Kevin has been cutting my three sons have for several years now. The shop is a clean family environment, and if you happen to be there on Saturdays he always has a few college games on the T.V.s. And he has a great appointment system set up. So, I dont have to wait for hours.

Fist time coming to the business. Called to schedule an appointment only haircut and was put on Clints schedule for the following day. Show up at my scheduled time and he was finishing up with one person and there was still a person in front of me. I was going to have to wait at least another 30 min for my scheduled appointment. Think your on tweaker time bro! No regard for my schedule I needed to keep. Very poor time management and not too professional! Lost my business!!

I took my then 2year old to this place about 5 months ago for the first time to get his hair cut. I had great hopes that this would be a great place to come on a regular basis because of all the great reviews, not to the mention the place was really clean and very well put together. The barber cut my sons ear pretty bad with the clippers and he was bleeding. The barber put something on my sons ear to stop the bleeding but in my opinion, this should of never been done. I have been to tons of barbers that are not the greatest and dont proclaim to be the greatest but never has my son been cut. Also when i got there i ended up having to wait because i got double booked by accident. I will never go back to this place!

Masterful kutz. Very professional and super clean establishment. The think I love is...when you make an appointment your stylist is ready for you at your appointment time. There is never a long wait. I hope they will always stay consistent with their work ethics.

HORRIBLE UNPROFESSIONAL PEOPLE. I try to support African American owned businesses, but it’s places like this, that make me want to stop. I called before I wasted my time driving to this place to see if they were busy and could take me. I was told they weren’t busy, and I told the guy I’d be right in, he said ok and hung up the phone. Upon arriving I notice a sign on the door that says by appointment only and the door is locked. So I called again and told the same guy I was outside. He then told me they were all booked up and couldn’t take me! It’s 3:30 in the afternoon on a Friday, no one was in the shop! So you’ve wasted my time and my gas because you’re lazy and don’t want to make any money ? People like this screw it up for everyone else.
