Phil is such a great guy and does a fantastic job with my husbands cut high and tight - always a great visit!!

Phil did an excellent job and the whole experience was great. We had some good laughs and enjoyed talking about the history of the Pendleton Heights neighborhood in Northeast Kansas City. I am happy with the haircut and would definitely recommend.

46 years and still ticking

Phil is great. But he works only by appointment.

Been going for 25 years. Phil is the best. Parking in front and back of the Barbery. My only comment is, ask if hes just argued about one of his famous local lore or stories with the prior customer. The haircut might be a tad shorter than normal if his dander is up.Just kidding, the mans Italian, what do you expect?

I am not one to bash places at all.Phil was a nice guy and sincere. But he didnt listen to how I explained that I would like my hair cut. He had a friend come into the shop to chat and he focused on that conversation more than how I wanted my hair to look. Needless to say it was a bad hair cut. He faced me away from the mirror for most of the cut .When He spun me back to face the mirror He noticed that I wasnt happy and my hair didnt look like a shorter version of when I walked in.

Phil is an excellent barber and an even better person. Would recommend him to anybody! Thanks again, Phil!

Yer all wrong! Phil said I AM his favorite customer! And he taught me how to pick up chicks. I used to sit at home alone every Saturday night, but now thanks to Phil, I have a date every night of the week! And because he gives such awesome haircuts, the ladies just cant stop running their fingers through my hair. Thanks, Phil!

Phil rocks. He does a way better job than the chain stores and does it for less. Sometimes I have a hard time getting in due to my own schedule...I go elsewhere and keep getting reminded why I need to go back to Phil.

The man who runs this establishment, after making an appointment with me and quoting me a price, threw me out because my hair was too long. What a thing to do at a haircut place, right? He was boorish, rude, and suspicious and treated me like crud. I do not advise anybody to go here - go across the street.
