This is an absolutely stunning hotel. Has a beautiful lobby. I wasnt able to see the rooms because I was just delivering some food to some very kind people. But this hotel is it. If you ever make it to Kansas City go here if you can afford it...its a beautiful hotel!

My husband and I stayed here after our wedding. Our room was on a high floor with gorgeous city views. Luckily, it was soundproof so we couldnt hear city noise. I was thrilled Loews accommodated our special request for fluffy white robes. In the morning, we grabbed coffee and breakfast sandwiches from Red Wheat. They were tasty but a little overpriced. After breakfast, we lounged in the hot tub. We both loved the jets and city views. Overall, everything in the hotel was new and exceptionally clean. We definitely plan on returning!

Beautiful hotel, conveniently located, nice roof top bar. I believe this is one of the newest hotels in downtown Kansas City. The decor is definitely on point. Its certainly one of the higher end hotels in the area. Quite possibly the best hotel there. Its very clean, highly modern, and the staff is extremely friendly and helpful. This is definitely my favorite hotel in the area.

I had a great time and the hotel was beautiful and clean. I’m giving 4 stars because we paid for parking but there were no spots late at night and we had to park down the street. They were kind enough to refund my parking for their garage but did not compensate for parking down the street.

Good stay with friendly staff and service. Clean room with nice amenities. Not too noisy from the streets below. Parking directly across the street. Convenience store and coffee shop in lobby, and large lobby bar with ample seating as well. Nice pool and fitness room available on 3rd floor. Plenty of nice meeting/conference space too. The food was quite nice during our conference. Definitely a good higher-end place to stay while In downtown.

I made reservations for a party of 6 at the Stillwell Restaurant for my sons birthday. We traveled over an hour to be told there was no reservation. I spoke to the manager, Michael, who said Im sorry. No offer of any kind to rectify...offer a discount for our next visit. Nothing! My sons birthday was ruined and all he said was sorry (and that was not even genuine).

GORGEOUS hotel! The bar in the lobby is breathtaking. The entire place is beautifully designed. The rooftop bar is so fun! Good priced drinks (roughly $12-16 each) and a decent view of Kauffman area. An elegant hotel with high-end finishes. Terrace bar is excellent and staff was more than accommodating. Pool was great and the hotel featured several dining options.Bathrooms were well stocked with towels and supplies. Provided robes were very comfortable. Additionally, deluxe king room had a very clean and very comfortable bed. Will continue to stay at Loews hotels in Kansas City and at their other locations.

For a brand new hotel you would think they’d invest in more sound proof windows. You can hear the interstate below on the 12th floor like it’s literally right outside your window. The AC says 65 but it feels like 73 or 75. Absolutely beautiful rooms just wish I didn’t hear everything.

All around very good! Only thing that keeps it from being a five star experience is there’s no food available in the surrounding area after 11pm. No vending machines, no fast food, no pizza delivery, no nothing! Not the healthiest for an area with LOTS of drinking going on:( pool was a little small but that can’t always be helped. Other than that it was fantastic, really!

Ellie greated us with the right energy talked with us like we were the only ones she was going to see all day. James helped me with birthday surprise for my husband and even wrote a card for him. We were here for Volleyball tournament and they made it feel like vacation. If you are ever in Kansas City this is the place to stay.

We stayed for 3 days at the hotel and not once did they come to clean my room. I had left the pass on the door to let them know that the room needed cleaning. It turns out they only come clean the rooms if it is requested. They failed to tell me that when I checked in. Then when I called to have someone come clean the room, they told me someone will be there right away but no one ever came. So we didn’t get new towels nor did anyone come to pick up the trash for the entirety of my stay. Even though the architecture and the ambiance was great I won’t be coming back due to the service.

The interior of the hotel is as expected for any newer hotel. However, we chose a hotel with a restaurant inside as we planned to frequent many times throughout our stay. We didn’t go. Why? The menu is odd, not accommodating whatsoever. Barely anyone eats there. Even on a holiday weekend, Friday night. No breakfast or lunch is served in this bizarre restaurant. No room service. No store to buy water or alcohol or snacks. Just a room and bar. Wish we stayed somewhere else 😢😢

This is a gorgeous hotel that transports you from Kansas City to another world! We’ve come to eat drink and stay a couple times! The restaurant is good. They are trying to implement sharing the food concept. However even though we all order different dishes we did not utilize that idea :-) their dip with the bread is scrumptious! Can’t think of the name of it off the top of my head. Expensive for sure and they have a tasty pink drink for those who like sweet libations!!We were unable to go to the rooftop or the outside patio due to rain earlier in the day. We wanted to be able to just see the sunset from the rooftop view, or hang out by the fire pits without sitting down. I think they should still open that up to guests and allow them to make the decision whether they want to sit on some wet seats or not LOL or just stand around for a little bit. That was disappointing since we had been there a few times and weather always seem to be a factor. The suite was amazing! We had a corner view complete with the living room area, a small bar when you first walk in, a nice size bathroom with a great view of the city, and a gorgeous bedroom. Unfortunately our view was of the construction going on across the street. However if you just avert your eyes to the right more, then you can see P&L district and other lights at night. There is a small market inside that is open for a few hours where you can get memorabilia, drinks, clothing, food, and other trinkets. You can access it when you come in the entrance of the hotel or through the backside of the restaurant.I really liked the area past the market, to the left where you can sit in comfortable couches and chairs by the fire. It’s a great place to chill while hiding in plain sight and being able to see the hustle and bustle of the hotel.Overall, everything went well and tonight we will be back! So I will update my experience if it’s anything different :-)

Direct connection to the convention center.

My husband and I stayed at Loews last year for my birthday at the recommendation of a friend, and we’re glad we did! For the price, we were pleasantly surprised at how high-end everything felt.We went with one of their package deals to prepay for parking and breakfast at the Stilwell, and really recommend it to anyone considering. It’s comforting to me to have off start parking. I’m not sure if it was just us, but the parking situation was a little confusing. They told us to use our room key to enter the garage, but no matter how we tried to scan it, it was not having it. However we just stopped at the front desk to clear that up. Also, the restaurant in the hotel, The Stilwell, is fantastic. The lobby was beautiful and grand. The check-in process was quick the gentleman was very friendly and happy to give recommendations for things to do in the city. We didn’t end up going to the bar, but it looked like a place I would want to get a drink! We decided to go with a premium room, and I’m so glad we did. The view was incredible. I wanted to transport that bathroom out of our room and straight into our house! Everything felt very clean and well kept.We would go back again and again!

Should have been a five-star place, but some baffling omissions knock this new hotel down a peg. First off, why is navigation signage so abhorred in hotels?! My wife and I tried to look around the hotel and got lost more than once looking for the elevator and stairs. Secondly, some signage for how the elevator works would be handy (apparently you have to scan your key card and then press the floor button). Also, why have staff take your key card to buzz you into the parking garage? All those quibbles aside, it was still a nice stay with a nice pool and fantastic views of the city. The check-in/check-out via my phone was super handy too.

This hotel is beautiful and immaculately clean. Wonderful views from every room. My boyfriend and I stay here sometimes as sort of a staycation because they have it all! If I could give it 6 stars I would solely because of the front desk staff member Dennis. He is fantastic. He even took the time to remember me and my boyfriend down to our first names as he has helped us a few times when we check in. Not only is he a wonderfully helpful employee but potentially one of the nicest people I’ve ever met! Every time Dennis is at the front desk our stay is that much better. This is a nice hotel in a good location. Checkin and parking (valet) was good. The pool is a lap pool (unfortunately you can not do any laps because there are people all over the pool) why have a lap pool? Paid $28 for a double shot of crown royal, its not even top shelf people and was barely a shot. At check out we called for our car and a luggage cart, we waited 20 minutes then toted our luggage downstairs. I told the associate we never got our cart, she did apologize and offered to buy us a coffee in the shop. Valet had brought our car up but there was no one there. I waited 10 minutes in the coffee shop, decided against coffee then went outside and waited 15 minutes to find out where my keys were. We didnt get coffee....😢 This is not a situation where the employees were being lazy that valet was literally running....they were understaffed....i feel bad for the employees.....but I could have paid $200 less parked my own car and waited 40 minutes less.

The head chef should probably do some research on culinary arts/or rename certain menu items to reflect what they truly are...i.e. if you are serving beef tartare but it is more reminiscent of french onion dip, then perhaps call it something else. If you have any interest or knowledge in the culinary arts, I would advise against dining here.
