Very unprofessional. First come first serve. No visible service/ labor price list. When given Quotes to have service done they are incomplete and not honored at time of service. Customers around passed around like a ball. Very poor communication between shop owner and shop employees.. Really congested parking lot. Would recommend getting quotes/info in writing before service. Also get the price amount before they start work. They change amounts without notice.

A little over priced for labor but, I guess thats expected in most cases. They have bills to pay. Any how they did a nice job with my repair it was minor such as replacement of a heater hose connector. I would have did it myself but didnt mess with it that day plus going to get the part or ordering it. A small 10 minute job and $15 part. I said ill just let Henry do it. Well I suggestion if with you can do it yourself do it, save yourself the money and dignity and do it yourself. Over all this is a Great place to have all your repairs meet small or large. I will go back only for major job a can actually do.

I had two bad experiences with them. Henry is very unprofessional. He is rude and the first time I went there they didn’t fix my car till 3 weeks later because Henry kept forgetting everything. They also messed up my trunk the second time and lied about it. Based on the reviews they use to be a good shop but now it is not a good place of business what’s so ever. Henry needs to retire.

Was referred here, over priced. They don’t tell you the full price until the work is complete. I will not be returning or referring anyone. Got brakes replaced and they are squeaking so loud whenever I tap them. And charged $80 for labor on replacing my headlights. Also not very professional when talking to people.

4 stars just because of the pricing and they get you in and out if your early enough....only downfall they dont give you over the phone pricing you have to be able to get your already broken down car there for them to quote you on the work then have a way to get it home if it dont run...

Professionalism is key. Not even 30 seconds in the conversation the manager whoever he is, told me “what do you want me to do with your car” and sarcastically laughed after I explained what was going on with my car. I’d rather take my car elsewhere with professionals and get treated with respect and good quality work... ✌🏽

I have been going to Henrys for years and he has always treated me fairly. The only drawback, if you can call it that, is having to buy your own parts, but he is always Fair on the labor pricing. His work is always top notch. Henrys mechanics kept kept my used cars running. Once they fix something it is fixed and I never have to go back to have them redo faulty work.

They are friendly and professional. In addition, when I have needed repairs that were outside of the services they offer, they have referred me to other reliable mechanics! Just like an uncle to me!

In the past this was the place to go. This shop accommodated the urban core, with friendly service, & affordable prices, due to desired at that time cliantel. Once the cliantel grew the affordable prices, professionalism, friendly service, & customer care went out the window. Now the home town grown shop has turned into only seeming to be about the money, & not the care of those that supported your success.

7/26/2016I was having problems with my 2002 GMC Envoy XL. The transmission cable had broken and power steering pump was out. Mr. Henrys outstanding mechanics were able to order the parts in a timely manner and my vehicle was repaired within 48 hours. The total cost was under $500 and highly recommend his auto repair services to anyone who wants a fair deal.

I have used Henrys since 2010 I have always received good service except this last time the labor charge was almost 5 times the amount charged for the same thing in 2017 no explanation given I left there feeling horrible not sure I will go back I have always paid my bill in full but this time I felt there was a slack in professionalism by the owner I felt he pretty much called me a liar due to making an error in the year of my grandsons car

I have not get any services at this shop bout the owner is just a umproffetional man bad actitud and is not the way he will need to trate people

Horrible customer service. Had my daughters car fixed there Friday and it stopped on her last night (one week later). Took it to Autozone and they told me that whomever put the alternator on didnt tighten the bolts back. Took it back to Henry and he said the alternator is bad and I would have to pay for him to replace it again. On my way to another shop to get her car fixed correctly.

One of the worst experiences ever. My insurance company sent this company to tow my vehicle. When in tow they damaged my vehicle. Brain “said owner” gave me the run around for weeks and tried to replace items with sub-par parts. I contacted my insurance company after getting the run around and issue was resolved by my insurance company. I hope this company is never called again by Farmers and hope he is forced to pay them back for the damage done.

I took my car to a shop in Independence Missouri. I was told that I needed two wheel bearings, a additional bearing in the axel, that hooked from the axel to the transmission, two axels and, two CV boots with a estimate over $1,100. I decided to take my car to Henrys. In fact all my car needed was one wheel bearing two axles and two CV boots, which are included with the axles when you purchase it, with a estimate of less than half of what the other shop wanted. Im fine with replacing something on my car that needs to be replaced,however,I am not fine with replacing things that do not need to be be replaced just because a shop wants to make extra money. Thank you Henry and staff for your honesty. Honesty is always the best policy.

I went in because my starter was going out, or so I thought. I asked them to look at my starter, and replace if needed. I received a call from Tom, who said, I did not need a starter, because the starter on my car was good, he then told me I needed to have my flywheel replaced. I then asked him, the cost of replacing a flywheel, he told me and I agreed to pay and for them to replace the flywheel. A few hours later I recv a call from Henry, stating to come and pick up my car and that they had replaced the starter. Well why are you replacing a starter, when I need a flywheel. Upon going to the shop, Im trying to explain to Henry that Tom has informed my that my starter is fine and I needed a fly wheel. He continued to talk over me, not let me complete my thought and tell me numerous times that replacing a flywheel is a big job and basically he didnt want to do it. So why was my starter replaced? I couldnt get an answer from him. He and Tom were not on the same page regarding my vehicle. Tom said one thing and Henry decided to do something else. So I had to pay 220 dollars for a starter that I didnt need. On top of that, I had to take my car to a transmission shop, and pay them for a flywheel and ANOTHER starter bc the starter put on my car by Henry, was now damaged from the bad flywheel. I say beware of Henry, either he was trying to get him some Christmas money or was to hung up on me asking them to replace the flywheel and he didnt want to. So Im out of 220 dollars... I will never go back there!
