Ask for Laura. She really listens to you. She will make suggestions that you may not have thought off. Knows all the styles. Current or classic. Shes also a hair color guru. Highly recommend. Plus shes a wonderful human

I have to express my abject disappointment with my experience at Station Salon.Let me first say, I do no generally write negative reviews. I tend to reserve my reviews for praise, not frustration. However, I contacted the salon privately to give feedback for my visit. The salon never replied, and never acknowledged my contact. It is because of this that I feel compelled to make my review public.Initially, I was very glad to have obtained a same-day appointment. However, when I arrived for said appointment I was told with no warning my stylist had been changed. I had not seen any of this stylist’s work on the salon’s page and wasn’t exactly thrilled at the unannounced shift in stylist.The stylist, while kind and friendly, did not give me a trim (taking off a max of 1.5 inches) as we’d discussed. Rather, she took 4 full inches of hair from me, did not follow the layers that were already there as I requested, and didn’t adhere to the temperamental textures of my hair, as I tried to explain. At the end of it all, she styled my hair without ever asking for my input on how I might liked this to be done. All of this resulted in a cut that made me incredibly upset and left me feeling deeply uncomfortable in my own hair. It has been a month since then and my hair is still in a state that makes me unhappy to look in the mirror.I wouldn’t recommend this salon. I would recommend going to someone that is a tried a true reference from a friend who shares your type of hair. I would not come back simply for the lack of response to my grievance.

I love This place, The stylists are all super talented and of course mine is amazing. Dana has transformed my hair and always comes thru with exactly what i want. The boutique next door is adorable and great place to pick up gifts and hair products and accessories. Ten stars would not be enough. Love Love Love

This is a super cute salon with great vibes. Its sunny, super clean and the staff are great. Sadie is amazing. She transformed my hair from being boring to the hair that gets you compliments when youre out.

The staff here is super friendly and very professional. Instantly greeted when entering and the boutique they have at the front is superb. Karlie has been my hairstylist and takes care of my neck trims for well over 2 months. Shes very friendly and super kind, highly recommend giving this place a shot if you havent already you will not regret it!

Whitney SAVED my hair with an amazing color correction and cut! I’m so beyond thrilled with how it came out. I had previously gotten my hair done at Cielo Salon and asked for a balayage, my hair was medium brown and it turned out completely orange. Then i came to see Whitney and she gave me exactly what i originally wanted! A perfect natural looking balayage. Thank you Whitney!!

Matt is my stylist. His attention to detail and making sure I am satisfied before I walk out the door is what keeps me coming back. Love the new resign under new ownership. Cool vibes. They fixed the cold water and put in brand new water heaters.

Station saloon is where it’s at! I see the Queen herself, Dana... who is absolutely amazing at what she does. Her color game is strong. And let’s not talk about her mad cutting skills. Whether you need a trim or a new do, Dana has you covered.Also, can we talk about how cute the shop front is? Cool Cali breeze creeps in while surrounded by green lushes plants. Need product, she’s has you covered there! Can you say bumble and bumble and oi... the only product I’ll put in my hair!!You walk in a 2 and out like a 12. You’ll never catch me at any other salon!!

Dana at Station Salon is THE best in San Diego County, hands down!I went to Dana for a color correction, but I was seriously worried about my hair being further damaged. After patiently listening to what my goal was for an end result, she actually took the time to think through what I needed to accomplish that and how best to do it without completely damaging my hair more. Her expertise, patience and experience, combined with top notch products like Olaplex and Bumble and Bumblecompletely transformed my hair from awful to awesome!Dana is very sweet, but also the consummate professional of hair!I highly recommend Station Salon for all your hair needs, you will not be disappointed.

*update*Still getting awesome pixie cuts here and I cant wait until they reopen once it is safe again. Looks like remodeling is going well.Dana is awesome she does great cuts andcolor as well.
