Im a retired maintenance mechanic with experience in all types of auto issues. Ive relied on Allen to take care of all of my auto electric problems for over 45 years. I dont ever remember being dissatisfied. They have a good common sense way of running their business and theyre always patient with problems that are hard to diagnose. I dont even give them 1 star... worst service I ve had from a person representing a company...if you like being yelled at and for people to not listen to you the customer ...than this maybe your place but I will never go there...THEY DONT KNOW HOW TO TREAT CUSTOMERS!!

I took my 2005 Ford Escape in for service on last Wednesday evening.II left my vehicle after hours, but had spoken with the previously to see where I needed to leave my key and general information on what was going on with my vehicle. I did not hear back from them so I called them on last Thursday morning to make sure they had what they needed. They informed me they would be contacting me once the service man had a chance to look at the vehicle. I called back that afternoon and was told that my alternator was bad, I asked if they were sure because we had the voltage tested at Auto Zone that previous Sunday.I was told there was a alternator in stock and they would start repair that Friday morning, telling me it was a 2 hour job.I called Friday morning around 11:30am and was told they had taken the old alternator off my vehicle and would be installing the new one. I called back around 2pm and was told the vehicle would be ready between 4:30 - 5pm. I told them I would have to leave work early and get thee to get my vehicle. I got a call around 4pm Friday, telling me to come get my vehicle, they could not get the axel off in order to put thethe alternator on. When I arrived at the shop, I asked why was I told the old part had been taken off and then called at 4pm to tell me they would get the job done, the man just shrugged his shoulders. I was so angry, they had my car for 2 days and did nothing.I will never use them again or recommend them to anyone. If anyone mentions the shop name, I will sway them in another direction.
