The repair person did a good job. It was everything that occurred before his arrival that was a nightmare. It took several calls between Kenmore and LG to schedule the repair. I told the Kenmore/Sears phone rep multiple times that we had purchased the Kenmore refrigerator in 2017 in Frisco TX and the repair was to take place in our current Missouri residence. Despite that, the repair person showed up at my previous address in Lewisville TX. That meant yet another call to the 800# to schedule service at my current address. The repair finally occurred 2 weeks after my refrigerator stopped working. No refrigerator, no freezer for 2 weeks. We threw away at least $250.00 in refrigerated and frozen food. My advice, don’t purchase a Sears or LG product. Our refrigerator was branded a Kenmore, but was built by LG. LG has a known problem (Class Action Lawsuit) on certain compressors. Sears paid for the parts, but we were left holding the bag for $515.00 for the labor to install the new compressor. BAD DEAL.
Over a year ago I started repair insurance with Sears, 49.00 a month. They sold my account to Cinch repair. I have been trying to get my wall oven repaired, I contacted Cinch and they sent it to another repair co. A repairman came out and ordered parts I needed. It has been 4 months of aggregation to get anyone to get my oven fixed. Sears told me it is not their problem I must call Cinch they have all automation so I can’t speak to a human!!! The repair co is no use either their hands are tied. So frustrating.. I need my oven. So please don’t sign up with Sears Home Repair if you want to keep your sanity and avoid a sour stomach!!!
Weve had 3 repairmen come out, and every time they are unprepared - they have not read the notes on the call and prior calls, they know nothing about the particular Kenmore model, they cannot get in touch with someone that does, and all theorize that the person before them didnt know what they were doing and ordered the wrong part. Its been 10 weeks, over $600, and still not fixed... just another appointment. I would not recommend wasting your time or money. If you cant fix your own companys range, why are you in business?
The service I received was prior to this date, was AWLFUL, Sears left me without a working washer for over 20 days after the technician came out. My overall service was UNEXCEPTABLE, and one manger stated that they could wait up to 30 days, the machine had the same problem 4 times in less than 4 months, I cut ties and purchased a Maytag...
Was up front on pricing and explained all he would need to do to fix this issue. Appreciate the heads up as well, as to what brand they work on the most if I decided to buy a new refrigerator. I also asked his opinion on this.
Took about 2 weeks for service repair but it was fixed on the first visit. Refrigerator is running as good or better than ever at this point. Thanks.
This is the 4th time they have come out to repair our refrigerator. Unfortunately each time they replace a part, they seem to leave it worse off than it was before. The most recent visit on August 5th, they replaced 2 parts. The technician informed us that if it was not working better by the next day to contact them and that they would need to replace the compressor next. Well, it was worse as now the refrigerator is not getting cold at all and the freezer is barely cold enough to keep items somewhat cold. We called and they told us they could not come back until August 17th and they would not even order the part before looking at it again. So meanwhile we have food that is thawed out and will probably go bad. Please note, the technicians that have came have been very professional. However I believe it is the process that makes this a bad service. They just keep ordering parts, when really what they should do at this point is replace our refrigerator as it is not even 3 years old.
Lawn mower repair. Explained what was needed and quickly repaied, Saved the day. Thank you kindly.
I have tried calling them about a service appointment and no one will call back. Terrible, awful customer service.
Very friendly, honest, and professional service. The technician called about 45 minutes before our appointment window to tell us he was about 45 minutes out. He arrived about 10 minutes early. Arriving early was not an inconvenience for me as I was home and not in the shower or something. I suppose this may not be the case for each customer. We did need new mower blades, and the technician had some in the truck. I didnt know whether the price was right and so trusted the technician that is was fair. I later estimated that I paid $5 - $10 or so extra for the convenience on top of the blades online price. I think that is fair as I would likely have paid for shipping and would not have had them installed.Overall the price never feels cheap considering we use a coupon. But I guess we choose a large recognizable corporate name for a reason different than price. It is strange and potentially quite uncomfortable that the company has the technician ask us as customers to rate the service before they leave. ...Although they do let customers know that they will be getting contacted again through email should they have something else on which to comment.Once again in my experiences, all of the improvements I would suggest would need to come from management. That said, no issues are too serious. Indeed, the technician was great.
Mike was very prompt. He called me about 10-15 minutes before his arrival at my house. He put me at ease very quickly with his examination of my treadmill and determined it only need a preventative maintenance check up and not the new belts I thought it needed. He was polite and had great customer service skills. I was very impressed with him and his skills. I would recommend Sears Service to anyone who needs it. I will definitely call again if the need arises to have something fixed!!!!
Had to have a second service appointment on my washer and another one for my dryer. The service repair person was able to schedule on same day. He was prompt and courteous. I highly recommend Sears repair. I also use their extended warranty. It was a huge benefit this time. Essentially got a new washer and the front of my dryer replaced.
My repairman was prompt, courteous, quick and thorough. He looked up the part number so I could look up prices for the water filter on my refrigerator and repaired the ice maker all in fifteen minutes. He was very pleasant. What a positive experience.
I always call Sears. I tried another appliance company I found in Angies List. Great price. The guy came it and said he couldnt find anything wrong with our washing machine even though it was leaking water. I decided coupons arent worth it. I called Sears and the technician said he knew what it was before he even looked at it. It was fixed in a matter of minutes.
I had a really nice technician, Andrew, help me with my washer. Andrew even worked with me after I missed his call when he couldnt find my house by coming by later than he was scheduled. He was very fast and did a great job. Would definitely recommend to anyone! Thank you!
We were informed that we had an appointment for Monday March 7th between 8AM & 5PM. We called every two hours for updates and they always advanced the appointment by two hours. At our final call placed at 10PM we were informed that the service rep reported that we werent home so he couldnt make the call! We never left our home, nor was there ever a call from the service tech. On Tuesday, the tech called and arrived as scheduled. He was dispatched to fix a two year old dish washer that wouldnt completely drain. The filters were both removed, and they did not contain any foreign material of any kind. The tech vacuumed the drain line to determine if it might be blocked but when the vacuum container was dumped it contained only water. There wasnt any obstruction preventing the washer from draining. The drain hose was then hooked back to the pump and the unit began to function. Lost 1 & 1/2 days, paid $169. and still do not know why the washer wouldntdrain completely! How does that saying Go? They dont make them like they use to !!!!!
Technician was very polite and personable. He quickly went to work and promptly identified the problem and solution to fix my dryer. He also offered to service my washing machine for a special price since he was already on location. Im so glad I took him up on that offer because we found some foreign items in the washer drain! He also recommended that I get my dryer vent line cleaned out, since it had not been done since I had my house built 17 years ago. Prices were very reasonable and I was most pleased with his genuine work ethic and he cleaned up the work area completely. Service was prompt, professional and cost efficient. I highly recommend.
The repairman was prompt and informative of the problem with our oven. The part needed to be ordered and we were kept informed as to when it would be in and could be delivered. Jewel, the repairman was so accommodating with our schedule in arranging his return to repalace the part. He arrived when he said he would and it is wonderful to have the oven working again ! Besides his skill as a repairman, he is a very personable individual. We feel as if we had a friend in our home with us !
He didnt put anything under the snow blower during our annual tune up. Therefore, he left a bunch of oil on our drive way where he was working.
I had to call a repairman because I had no heat in my Whirlpool Duet dryer. The technician called right before he came over and was on time. When he got to my house he did his diagnostic test and figured out I needed the thermal cutoff and thermistor replaced. He did not have the parts in his van but said he could pick them up within twenty minutes and be back to repair the dryer. When he came back he replaced the parts and the dryer worked fine. I have had no problems since then and the dryer works really well. A little pricey ($226) but it was worth it for the convenience and professionalism. Great job!
Great experience. Fast work, clean up was thorough and they were exactly on time. The technician had a trainee with him. Both were polite and full of information about dishwashers, info about cleaning that I can use to avoid future repairs. We talked about the warranty program, but we already had coverage for some of it, so declined.Note that we always call Sears for appliance repairs because we always have a good experience.I had printed a coupon from the website when I made the appointment, but forgot to use it. It might be nice if the technicians asked, but I guess its really my problem if I forget, not yours.
EXCELLENT service. Tim was very professional. He explained the problem, replaced the needed parts, cleaned up after the repair. We were very impressed with his demeanor and his expertise. Would hope to have him again if we needed repairs on our appliances.
I found the repair site online very easily (and I am an 81 year old). The appointment was set up immediately. The repairman called before he came out, he was out in a timely manner, he was pleasant, efficient, clear, and neat. We are extremely happy with the service, the service person and the repair. Thank you very much.
I have been in awe of this 16 year old window unit.Who knew what a good service could do?Not only has it cooled as good if not better than it ever has, ( could be my age ) but I actually wear a jacket indoors now.I thank you so much and the service man was as nice as anyone could ever be.Thanks again.
Pretty good service. The guy came out and looked at my dryer and saw the issue rather quickly. My dryer was squeezing loud and he placed grease on the bearings and said I will probably need to fix it soon and gave me some pricing options. He told me I only had to pay for the $80 trip for that day and tried to sell me a home warranty. I asked a few questions and he instantly called someone to try and get me setup. I ultimately ending up declining the offer and he was disappointed and then charged me for grease he put on the bearings. I was a little aggravated at that since he told me one price and charged me more because I decided not to buy the warranty. He then told me about the credit he gets if I purchased it now rather than later. I was kinda done talking to him when he upcharged his service. I dont mind paying for the service he provided (he did a good job) but Sears should talk to their servicemen about the level of professionalism when it comes to the warranties they receive commission on. It ruined the entire visit.
The technician arrived on time. He was professional and cordial. He spent some time educating me on my drier and my washer as he went through his diagnostic. This I really appreciated. I had no idea about my high tech machines and didnt know I didnt know - lol. Not only is my drier working, but I will be able to better utilize my equipment in the future.I did have some trouble with the call center. This is not resolved yet. But the actual service was excellent.
The service man was excellent. He was polite and professional and very friendly and courteous. We needed no repair; just maintenance, which he did thoroughly, explaining each step along the way to assure that the dishwasher will work well in the year to come.
Our serviceman was very helpful and thorough. He was very knowledgeable about our make of washer, and ran all the diagnostics. He identified the problem (which was not a mechanical one) and advised us that we had a plumbing issue that was affecting the operation of the washer. He also suggested we purchase a warranty for the washer (which we did) and gave us other helpful tips and preventative advice.
Jason was courteous and polite and fixed my washer in record time. He immediately knew by the sound exactly what was wrong. Its working great again! I will not hesitate to call him again if needed!!
The service gentleman was easy to work with. The dryer was hard to get access since it is stacked above the washer in a small closet. He found a dead blackbird in the dryer blower fan. Nothing wrong with the actual dryer. I am in the process of installing a screen on the vent to prevent this from happening again. Thank you sears.
Disappointing to say the least. I called when the belt on our Maytag washer broke. It was easy to tell what was wrong -- the belt was lying in pieces on the floor. I called and told the person that it was a broken belt. I gave the model name and number and asked that the tech bring a belt. The tech arrived 3 days later, without a belt. He verified that the belt was the problem, but he didnt have one. He had to order it (for which we had to pay up front), then reschedule another appointment eight (8) days later! That meant almost two weeks without a washer. For a household with three daughters, thats a problem. The tech was very polite but neither he nor any of the people I spoke with at Sears or the repair agency to which Sears subbed out the call apologized or offered any sort of make-up.
I bought a washer about two years ago and since then I have had it repaired twice. Both times there were delays due to ordering parts and the second time was a complete disaster, mostly due to an incapable call center. For the first repair they said that they would mail the part to us and then schedule an appointment after it got there. Over a week later the part and the technician showed up only to find out that the part that they ordered was wrong. The technician said that he would just go buy one locally so that it could get done that day. It was late into the day by the time he finished but he did a great job and even fixed a few minor problems while he was at it.The second time my washer broke I called to have it repaired and they told me they would send someone out the next day to fix it. I was really happy with the fast turnaround, however the next day no one showed up. When I called sears back up they claimed that I had never even called them and said there was no record of any of it. Then they told me that they would send someone out the next week. When the technician arrived he didnt even turn off the van he just came in a said that they needed to order a part and then they would be back. One week after that I called up to see how much longer until the part arrived. They then told me that they never ordered any part and that I was supposed to call in to order it (even though I had no idea what part it was supposed to be.) They then walked me through finding the part. The part got ordered and my washer got fixed, however all in all it took nearly a month where my washer was completely unusable in a house with 8 people. At this point I feel like it was a waste to purchase the extended service plan since I could have just called a local repairman and payed less than I did just at the laundromat waiting for sears to get their act together, not to mention all the money I payed for the service plan in the first place.
Had major issues with our dryer filling with lint and smoking due to a bad belt. Our repair tech was able to discover the problem, fix the issue, and clear out all the lint that had accumulated over time. He was punctual, courteous and knowledgeable and we were very satisfied!
Two technicians came to look at 4 different appliances. Both were thorough, polite and friendly. Repairs were made in a timely manner. Wish I had pushed harder on the water filter as that was all that was needed.
My experience was great with my technicians! They were very timely and very knowledgeable and I appreciate the patience, the information, and kindness given to me! I would definitely recommend them to anyone and will call Sears again for any future repairs I may have! Great team!!
Now the repair has been done. I am so impressed with the technician. My dishwasher has never ran so quiet and cleaned so good. He knew from just listening what things needed to be fixed Ordered the part and came on the day he said. Part came to me in the mail before he arrived. What a good system. Sears, please look up his name he deserves a raise for being your representative in our homes.
They gave us the usual long 4 hour time period and then did not even meet that. They ran a computer check on the machine but nothing else to check to see why it had issues when it went through the spin cycle. We called to schedule another appointment and were told they would call us to get that scheduled yet we did not receive a call. Called them again and got an appointment between the hours of 8 am and 12 pm and it was almost 4 pm when they shoed up. This is not good customer service ! People work, take off time and lose wages. We have only had our machine since June 2016 so we should not be having all these problems.
Two servicemen showed up to repair my 12 year old dryer (one was in training). They were pleasant and explained everything. He quickly determined the problem after truly listening to me replacing a door switch that he had in the truck. He looked at belts at my request but they were still in good condition. I couldnt be happier to have in done in one trip. Most of my appliances are Kenmore which to me has been Sears bread and butter. Ill call them again.
The technician arrived at time stated and was very friendly, however after he performed a few diagnostic checks he stated that none of the error codes proved to be warranted so he did a reset, I think. The washer seemed to go through partial cycles with no problems so the tech stated that it may have been out of sync. I paid for the service and the tech departed. The washer was then loaded with soiled clothing and after it went through the cycles I went to remove clothing only to find that the spin cycle never ran. Here I am stuck with ANOTHER load of soaking wet clothes and needing to go to the laundromat AGAIN! Not a very happy camper!!
The Crew provided excellent service. I was completed satisfied with everythingthey did - installing equipment, providing information, answering questions andcleanup. Their attire was appropriate and they were knowledgeable. I give thisCrew a (10) rating.
Repairman was great----once he got here, scheduled time was between 8-1. After three calls (first one at 2:30) and being told he was on the way the repair man called, it seems on first call they cancelled the repair, second call they rescheduled it, and third call they had the repair man call me. He was here in about 10 minutes. At 5:00 pm!!! Took five minutes to repair
$440 and refrigerator still doesnt work
The service was great you can not set you day according to the set time that you are given because it will change. the repairs were done quickly. They took two visits. which took two days of waiting for the repairman to arrive.
We are very satisfied with the technician and feel hes well trained, competent and has high degree of customer concern. We are, however, very disappointed with the management behind him as we understand it our machine has well passed its $820 Matrix for replacement at about $1000 or more in parts alone yet the management he had to clear it with REFUSED to comply. Well be a week or more without the use of the machine due to the need of an extensive number of parts that were not on hand at the time of service. Weve been loyal customers of Sears for all our appliance needs and the related service policies for over 30 years. The area in which the machines are used is well maintained - both washer and dryer are on a platform built to keep them off the floor and a humidifier runs in that area as necessary to keep the humidity very low. The machine is about 7 years old and we have had several service calls on it. We would appreciate a call on this issue promptly as the machine is due for repair this Friday if the parts arrive in time. HELP - John Conway
Wanted and needed new floorings-just hadnt made the leap to get it done. The Sears team was successful in helping our family commit to new flooring. Thank you and we are pleased with our decision and cant wait for the work to be completed.
Repairman was very prompt and replaced the burner element quickly. He took the time to answer a couple of other questions I had about our Kenmore. I was very satisfied with the service.
The repair fleet had delays and our service request was re-assigned to our tech at the last minute. While he was enthusiastic about selling us an extended warranty, he was not so much about solving our problem with our GE refrigerator, which cost us $320 for removing a fan and defrosting it with our hairdryer. Four days later the problem came back and we requested a return service call. This time the tech told us to buy some parts from GE and try that. Although it did not cost us anything this time, our refrigerator is now freezing items in the lower compartments, forcing us to scrunch a full holiday load of food into the upper shelves. Basically we got cheated and robbed of our money, by virtue of getting nothing in return and continuing to endure our problem.
The guys were very good and helpful. They were in and out in good time and were very kind. I would highly recomend them and have them back anytime. They were very considerate.
Service man arrived prompley at the specified time .He was knowledgeable and very professional. He diagnosed the problem and repair it quickly with parts from his truck. Then perform the annual checks and cleaning on both hot water heaters . I would recommend him to anyone .
The customer service is horrible when you call. Ive asked the same question for a week and a half about renewing my warranty and no one can talk to me about it. None of the links in their websites work. Just had service for 3rd time recently and they conveniently rescheduled my last appt for a date AFTER my warranty has now expired and now want to charge me for repair that was supposed to be fine at the last visit.
Im only giving one star because my problem with my washing machine was a rotten egg smell and I purchased tablets from them to put in the washing machine. I ran the clean cycle 3 times and I still have the smell. But I would like to give five stars to the repair man and woman because they were very polite and very professional.
The tech did a great job. He figured out the root cause of the recurring issue and showed me how tho avoid the issue going forward. Highly recommend.
Very pleased with the repair service once it could be completed. my only concern was the length of time required. it took two weeks to have the diagnosis and another two weeks to have the part installed. Glad the problem was not more serious so we were able to continue to use the refrigerator
Took way too long to get repair completed for the cost of Sears Protection Plan. Waited one week for tech arrival and another two weeks for part and tech arrival.Second tech to install part was sullen and taciturn to the point of nearly rude. Never offered his name!First tech, Brandon, was helpful and provided good laundry care tips too.
The Service Technician who serviced our Sears Garden Tractor was very knowledgeable and personable. He finished the job in a record amount of time and was on his way to his next appointment very quickly!
Ice maker not working since first of June. Numerous trips by repairmen and replacement of unit. Still no ice and this is JULY 21, and Sears still wont send serviceman until AUGUST! Many calls to Sears and they either cut off call or transfer to many different depts/people, with still no resolution of problem or consideration of inconvenience/lack of resolution. Have had service contracts on all our appliances for 30 years, but only since Sears closing many stores have experienced this below-standard service. They even said today that if they replace the refrigerator because ice maker cant be fixed, that Sears will not warranty the replacement refrigerator!
I had a faulty drain pump on my washing machine. The technician was more than professional however he was 5 hours late and redirected at the last moment. The drain pump was installed however after one load of laundry the pump was leaking. Re scheduling the repair of the pump has been a nightmare. They refused to come out the following day after paying $221. They rescheduled my repair for 4 days later. The return technician came out and did a surficial inspection and said I dont see any leaks and said there was no reason to do anything.I did one load of laundry and more leaks. The scheduling representatives are the worst. I was informed that I would be called back and after 6 hours no return call. The next available appointment is 4 days away.Never will use A&E / Sears Appliance Repair again
Well, the repairman saw that the washers motor was working but not engaging at all. He fiddled with it a few minutes and got it to work. He said he was going to get his tools and break it down to make sure everything was hooked up properly. In about 15 minutes, he came back up, gave me a receipt and said call if there are issues. Did one load, it made weird knocking noises. Tried another load, it no longer agitated or spun. Now we are waiting over a week for another repairman to hopefully REALLY fix it this time. No, not very happy.
My service technician was courteous and professional, but he was late, and the repair was unsuccessful. Ive got to wait another week and a half for a new appointment to try again. That said, there was good communication along the way. The technician called me well in advance to tell me that he was overbooked, for example.
My technician was extremely lovely & very proficient.Hehas worked for Sears for 40 years! What a treat! His namewas Rod. Super sweet & nice.Thank youColleen ONeill
The repairman was on time and within an hour washing machine was repaired and he was on his way. The machine works great. We were very satisfied with Sears repairman. Thanks a lot.
The washer repair was completed quickly and effectively. The service technician was professional and connected well with me. He didnt make a mess and completed the repair even though the laundry room space was very tight.
Although the scheduling aspect of the process was a bit frustrating, the repairman was courteous, thorough and patient as I cleaned behind my stove as he repaired. He was very professional and personable. It was a really good experience!
For the limited amount of time spent and the verbal advice given, I would have expected to pay less than the $79 house call charge. Plus, the first appointment was a no-show. The two men that did show up were fine.
The gentleman who came to my home for the repair to my refrig was VERY good. Informed me what had happened in case this happens again and I could fix it myself.I was VERY happy with my service.
Person doing the insulation was great, very helpful in tips.I replaced mower deck due to metal cracks and poor weld, itemwas shipped UPS, but the packaging of the large and heavy itemwas a cardboard box which was ripped and broken, it arrived alltaped togather. The packaging put all the nuts/bolts & smallparts in plastic bag and put in with the large heavy metal itemwhich broke the box in shipment, the plastic bag with small partsripped open. all of the small parts were lost in shipment had tosalvage old parts off old deck (wheels/pins/bolts). New mowerdeck was replaced with a lot of old parts due to very-very-very poor packaging. The service man this often happens with replacementdecks
On time and found the problem right away, had the parts needed and installed them to solve my problem
He found and corrected problem.
The 2 guys that came to my home were extremely professional. Although I didnt get the right part, they found the right part in Lenexa? and made arrangements to come back the same day. They arrived around 5pm and stayed til after 7pm. Since I have stackable washer and dryer, it took both men. They did any outstanding job and were very clean and efficient. Thank you Sears technicians - I hope all of the technicians are just like you two.
Outstanding! Service Teck did a wonderful job fixing our older riding mower. Was polite and informative. We will request Michele next time.
The service man was on time and very polite. He got the ride on mower to start. It worked while he was there. Two hours later I tried to start it and it did not start. I called in and was promised that someone would return within 24 hours. So far no one showed . I made a new appointment for the same problem. Disappointed!
Good: First person was great, very friendly, quickly diagnosed the problem, had to order part and reschedule after it arrived at my house, with option to pay in full or partial pay. Second person was also great, came out and made quick work of taking our washing machine apart and putting in the new part. They even narrowed down the time window of arrival when I called in the day before.Bad: When calling to make the appointment the phone contact reviewed the washing machines problem and the part it probably needed. I asked if they would definitely have the part brought with them on the first scheduled appointment so that I would only need to take one day off of work and they agreed that this common part would be available on the first visit. I was rather disappointed when the nice service guy did not have it with him and I had to take a second day off work to meet them at my house, and had to tell my spouse we would have to deal with the problem for 2 more weeks than expected.Overall: Just expect them to come diagnose and take payment on the first stop regardless of what you discuss over the phone and youll probably be happy with the guys that show up to do the work both of the days you schedule yourself to stay home from work.
The gentleman seemed very familiar with my washing machine. Ran some tests and corrected the problem. At least, did my weekly washing yesterday and did not have any repeats for past problems
Great. Came within 24 hours. Fixed our problem. Very knowledgeable. Very courteous. Deserves a raise.
The work was done quickly, once the second person came (after the part arrived about a week later), however the cost was extremely high. $180 for less than 15 minutes of repair time, this was on top of the $99 service fee and cost of parts.I called Sears but they said that it was the normal cost for that repair (replace a broken water reservoir in the refrigerator) and did not offer any recourse. I did tell them that I did not receive the 20% discount for scheduling on line and they did refund me the 20%.I probably will not hire SAR again, just too expensive for what they did and it took too long to get repaired.
Sam and Dillon were excellent. They were knowledgeable, professional, and friendly. I highly recommend Sears appliance repair.
Both technicians were very polite and knowledgeable. They did the annual check on our appliances in an efficient and timely manner. We were very pleased.
My repair took about 2 seconds for the tech to diagnose and 10 minutes, at the most, to fix. Sears charged me $79 for the service call and $90 for the repair, plus the $45+ for the part. I thought this was excessive and outrageous, for the work done! I dont mind paying a fair price, but Sears ripped me off!
I can not say enough wonderful things about the technician who came to my house. I cant remember his name though. He went above & beyond making sure my dishwasher was working, double checked on my warranty, fixed my doorknob on the way out & have me samples for my wash machine.. The last technician that came out from Sears kind of gave me the runaround & left me w a dishwasher that seemed to work until he left. Please say an extra thanks to the most recent technician.
We had them install a new dishwasher last year and it went great. We had our 2 electric garage door openers, but mainly rollers, etc. on garage door, serviced a few years ago and they became wonderful, quiet doors again. Then a few weeks ago one finally died after 16 years and we had Sears replace it with a new Craftsman garage door opener. Again an excellent experience. Then we had them come out and tune up our riding mower and replace the blades and we were given a Groupon price even though I didnt know about the Groupon! So I just had to write a review since the others seem to be negative. It seems people tend to only bother posting a review when they have a bad experience. I will always turn to Sears for these types of repairs/installations. Never had a problem, always cheerful and experienced people who get the job done and do it very well.
Very nice technician. He was a lot better than the ones that installed my machine......more knowledgeable as well.
Excellent service!! Highly recommend using them. Very timely and reasonable.
The Sears service man arrived on time and repaired our dryer quickly. He also did an excellent job selling me on a service plan.
My repair was completed by a very professional and kind man. He did a great job explaining everything to me before he proceeded.
On time. Friendly. Asked if I had a coupon. Gave me the price before repair. Very satisfied.
The service provided by the repairman was excellent. Ive used the service for many years now an I am completely satisfied. I would recommend this for anyone who has a large tractor and they are unable to transport the lawnmower to a repair shop.
The technician was polite and listened to my laymens description of the issue with my washer. He was very knowledgeable and was able to correctly diagnose and repair my LG washer within thirty minutes.
Thr service was personable and knew his job. I am very happy with my service.
Quick and easy! I scheduled on-line, repairman was right on time and had the part on hand. Very satisfied!
Very poor. The service man was nice enough but the charge of $339 was outrageous for the work that was done. I was charged an $89 diagnostic fee plus $120 in labor for a total of 30 minutes of work. I was also charged $119 for a heat sensor probe that should not have cost more than $20 or $25. This is no doubt one of the reasons why Sears is going bankrupt as I will certainly never use this service again.
Technician was prompt and efficient. He took time to clearly explain to me what hed done to fix a drainage problem on our dehumidifier, and also what hed done to try to prevent further problems.Good job!
Professional, with prompt attention to our Kenmore Washer. The techs are personable and provide their knowledge on the product.
The Sears repairman came on time, fixed my leaking refrigerator, assured me that I wouldnt have the problem in the future, explained what he was doing, took great care with the floor when he moved the refrigerator and cleaned up. It was all under warranty and he couldnt have been nicer.
Service man was very good and repaired our fridge fast and well.Very satisfied!
Came within time frame & got work done in timely manner. Was only sock in pump, he removed sock & tested washer.
The gentleman was very professional and did a great job. I would recommend this service to everyone.
Our repair person did a fantastic job. He had to find and get a part, bring it back, and spent several hours to ensure we were satisfied, and we are!!
The first time the guy that came diagnosed that it was the main part of my dryer that was supposedly out, so we had to order it. I wished I knew that the intitial appointment does not always mean that youll get your dryer fixed that day because if they dont have the part it must be ordered and you have to pay a certain amount for it upfront. You have to pay a $79 diagnostic fee for them just to come out and take a look at your appliance and if they dont have the parts in their car, they will order it for you and have it delivered to your house. Youll have to pay for it right when they order it. The first guy came within the scheduled time frame. However, the 2nd guy that came, he did not come within his time frame, we scheduled for 10-2PM and he came around 4PM. When he installed the main part, he found that two other parts were not working as well. At this point, Im not sure if sears is just trying to make more money off of us or if he is telling the truth; installing a new part can sometimes offset other parts. Luckily the two other parts were only like $15 each. The dryer finally worked though and they did their job. It is also a 90 day gauranteed of their services. Overall, it took about two weeks to get my dryer fixed.
Excellent! Service tech was kind, knowledgeable and thorough. The only thing that kept me from giving 5 stars was that he arrived towards the end of the window ... closer to dinner time.
Mike did a great job installing the new microwave. I would highly recommend his service.
