Nice guy on the phone. Scheduled appoint for Friday 12/29. Took off work for it. Ducts Unlimited was a no call/ no show. I tried to call them and just go what sounded like an answering machine. Moving on....

Great service and great pricing. Very professional, no hidden fees or tricks. they let you know up front what to expect. They said the job would be in and out in 1 hr 45 min, and they were. The team cleaned up as they went, the only way you knew they were here, the air felt cleaner. You can shop around, I doubt you will find a better Ducts cleaning team anywhere in the KC area. If you have a pet, they are very pet friendly.

I previously had a company come out to clean the ducts, but they were unable to due to the angles of the ductwork. Ducts Unlimited were able to thoroughly clean all my vents no problem and do it for a reasonable price. My only minor complaint is that one of the vent covers was not reinstalled properly so I fixed it myself. Other than that, service was fast and efficient and clean.

I’m not a fan of company bashing but I feel I owe my friends to give themmy experience with Ducts Unlimited, Air Duct Cleaning Professionals, as stated on their website. They came on Thursday and I felt did a good job. The guy in charge, Nick, did a look through after they were done & said everything was left as it was before. I looked around and found they had made dents in a new hardwood floor vent. When I pointed it out, never an apology just said, “what do you want me to do about it.” Grrr!! Bad customer service! After they left, I started looking around, found one vent not attached so I called the office to have them turn around before they got far away. As I was waiting I found a vent that had obviously not been cleaned, you could see stuff in it. When they returned & I pointed it out to them, Nick said, “Yes that was cleaned.” When I asked why there wasn’t white trash all over the carpet like under every other vent in the house he said, “we cleaned up after ourselves.” He stood there, in front of the other employee & bold faced lied to me! Why would they clean up after themselves under ONE vent while they left grass in the windowsill where the big tube came in. So they left. I’ve called the office number 4 times since, left 2 messages. One asking for the owner to call me. They will not pick up my call or return the call. Who operates a professional business like this?Although, I feel they might have cleaned the air ducts & vents good, how would I really know. Their customer service sucks!!

I dont know what I expected for $109 dollar groupon. The ad said truck mounted equipment but it ended up being two nice gentleman with shop vacs and they were done in 30 mins. I dont really know if the vents got clean. I think I expected equipment that I didnt have in my garage and something that would clean deeper into the vents than a few feet of shop vac hose. This was of course all after an attempted up sell of $750 of total house cleaning. Maybe its just buyer remorse but it didnt feel like money well spent.

I have no idea about the quality of service provided by this company, because THEY DID NOT SHOW UP. I purchased a Groupon for their duct cleaning services and called the business phone number. The phone was answered after a number of rings with, Hello? That seemed odd to me for a business call, but I mentioned Ducts Unlimited and was greeted cheerfully. The person told me his name was Casey, and he went through the cleaning process thoroughly. I was pleased, and we set a date for the job. The appointment day arrived; and at 5 minutes after the designated arrival time, I received a phone call from Casey. His kiddos had been sick, he just wasnt on top of things, and he couldnt do the job today. Could we reschedule? While I paused to decide on a reschedule date, he said, Do you want to call me back? I said yes, and that I would call him right back. He had called me from a number that was different from the business phone number, and he told me to call him back on the number from which he had called. I called back 2-3 minutes later to set an appointment, and there was no answer. It rang and rang. I left a message. Two hours later, I called both the business phone and the phone from which he had called me. No answer, my calls went straight to voicemail. I even said that I hoped everything was ok with his family! I received no return calls. I feel lied to. I have never had a business treat me like this EVER.

They arrived on time, explained what would be done and the total cost. They worked efficiently and did a great job. The technicians were very nice and professional. I plan on using them again and would highly recommend them to friends.

I contacted ducts unlimited last week after seeing their ad on Groupon they had extremely fair pricing for what they do they are extremely professional really nice. He showed up on time to the point that Nick even came over himself I believe it is a family owned business I will always do business with family owned and operated business is first this is an extremely professional company and they do great work and I will highly recommend them to the point that my neighbors even wanted to speak to him before he left so they could do their ducts. Thank you very much I am very happy and satisfied with the work that you have done and I will also be posting this on Facebook.

Ive read all the negative reviews and to each their own. I was satisfied. The price was right. Service was good. I guess Im just not that concerned about sweating the small stuff. It was actually quieter than I expected. Nothing came up missing. Nothing was damaged to my knowledge.Used the Groupon for $109. My home was built in 1940 and the HVAC system was installed in 1996. I bought the house 5 years ago. Vents had never been cleaned. Nick was very polite. Kristen was very polite with my appointment and reminders. It only took about 1.5 hours. Nick changed my filter, as well. Before he left, I could already tell the air was much better. Yes, there was residual dust and materials that I cleaned up after, but I expected that...we are in the middle of remodeling in multiple rooms. I will be contacting them in about 3 years to have it done again. Thanks!

I bought a Groupon for this company to clean my ducts. I tried calling the provided phone number on the voucher and also the listing I found for them on Google to schedule an appt, no answer. I then tried to look up their website but it looked like they hadnt paid the bill as GoDaddy had posted something like they were waiting on a response before they shut it down...?? I even reached out on Facebook, nothing. Unless you love to waste your time dialing your phone and not being able to reach Id recommend you take your business elsewhere. I cannot comment on their quality of work as I couldnt even get someone to call me back.

I truly dont understand the issues from all the one star raters on here. I read the Groupon, I counted my air ducts, called, they said yes, he came and then we both went on our merry way. I even enjoyed my experience so much, I left a small tip.I feel that if you have enough intelligence to handle reading, counting and other skills you learned in pre-k, this is a pretty smooth and worthwhile experience. And my house is noticeably fresher.I recommend.Thanks DU

Great service, showed up on time, did a through job, our ducts were filthy!!!! Nick, the owner, came out on a Sunday and was courteous and very business like.You will be amazed at how dirty the ducts are, I highly recommend getting them cleaned.

Here are the facts, talked to Nick, he did a free quote over phone. Came out counted vents with coworker. Despite $109 deal posted they charged almost $300. We thought it was a good deal as we had a brand new baby. They came in my home, dirty shoes, no shoe covers, I had a sleeping infant and a 4 yo they were loud and seperated into different rooms it was impossoble to stay next to both guys. His coworker is his buddy of 10 years from what i was told. They left a mess. Our vents are still dirty. And not even an hour after they left, while hurrying through their work, my wedding ring was gone, it was in my drawer next to a fake ring, thats gone too. I offered cash REWARD and didnt hear from him until after I made a police report. He advised me that he looked in his truck and it was not found. Again I am not saying they took it Im simply staging the facts. They were the only ones in my home, besides my husband kids and I, between me taking my ring off and putting it in my top dresser ring holder drawer and an hour after they left i went to put it on again so i could leave my home. The fake ring and real ring both gone. This was in January it took me a while to post this as I am still extremely emotional. We did pay them for their work. Before they left our home.

Not completely impressed, but you get what you pay for. First the ad for $109 was very deceiving, stating 2,000 sq ft house should have 10 vents or less, ours is 1,800 sg ft with 16 vents (the price goes up $22.50 for each vent above 10) The guys were very nice and knowledgeable, although their company truck was in pretty bad shape and there were no company decals anywhere to be seen. We were told that it would take about 2 hours, it took them maybe 1 hour and 15 minutes. When looking over the system when they arrived, they yanked our current air filter out and it would not go back, so we had to go purchase a new one that day. We were told they would clean up after themselves when they were done, when they left, there was dust and drywall all around vents, and on the carpet and furniture that was not vacuumed up. I checked in a couple of the vents and there was still some dust residue, so they obviously didnt check to make sure it was all gone. Again, this was the cheapest we had found, so you get what you pay for.

This company is a joke. They made making an appointment as difficult as possible for no reason. They guy on the phone seemed incompetent, he couldnt repeat my phone number back correctly 3 different times when confirming it, which was an ominous sign. When I had to call a few days later to reschedule, he went on to say he cant see where I had/have an appointment scheduled (which I had just called and scheduled a few days prior). I tried to still deal with them because I had already paid through Groupon. Guy called at 3 pm on scheduled date, said he was on the way to my house and would be there in 30 minutes. Never showed up AND never responded to ANY of my phone calls that day or after. Still trying to work out getting my money back with Groupon. They wont even contact me after supposedly being asked by Groupon to contact me. Really scary. DO NOT DO BUSINESS WITH THIS PLACE. This place deserves NEGATIVE stars, I only gave them one star because it makes me before I can post this comment.

Nick would not honor quoted special price. I waited for him to unload equipment. He drove away without saying anything. Very rude and unprofessional.

Phones weren’t working but was able to contact via Facebook. They showed up on the date/time of appointment and did a great job!

As a former emplyoee of this company i would not highly reccomend this man to work on your home. The vaccume is only 22hp which truly powerful enough to clean the ducts of a home of 1000 aq feet or less. The main reason why i would not reccomend nick is he doesnt pay his emplyoees. Im not the first to accuse him of this, he has had 2 other employees which ive spoken too whom say they had the same problem. When confronted with these allegations he just promplty fires you and blocks your number. Please dont use a company that treats its employees this way. The reviews speak for themselves. You have many options to choose from!

Made an appointment after seeing a deal on Angies list 10 vents for $109. When the employees arrived the said it would be triple the price like $300 and they ended up just leaving. Ill take my business elsewhere.
