Same issues as another review. Rhonda was not able to fulfill her appointment times with us that we had established with her knowing our schedule ahead of time. Disappointed we invested our time and money in her. Poor communication in patient administration.
Wife and I were excited to meet Rhonda. Booked with her back in June, to get an appointment as soon as we could, which ended up being July 7th. We walked into office, and she asked us if we had an appointment. Said yes, and told her our names. She rudely said, that was for yesterday. I said no, I booked this with you a month ago. She then changed her story and said, you never got back to me! I never heard from you. Which I do understand life gets busy. So, I quickly pulled out my phone and sent the email back to her, showing the confirmation. She then said, Im not even taking in office visits right now, extremely rude! My wife and I of 9 years, were going in to learn better communication skills, and man did we figure out real quick, that this not only wasnt going to be our therapist, she probably could take a bit of advice from whatever shes teaching to people, and not immediately accuse a potential brand new client that they are wrong in the time line, accuse me of never confirming the appt, and after all of that, to just callously just tell us shes not even seeing patients in office. Whichever, thank you for showing your true colors, Rhonda! Saved me a lot of money, and wasted time going to the wrong therapist! We already know how to communicate by blaming the other person, so obviously we need to find a different therapist. I felt this was important enough to leave a 1 star rating, cause looking for a new therapist is very expensive, and time consuming. Rhonda wasted our time today, but I very much appreciate the attitude! Showed us real quick that we needed to keep looking. Hope this was helpful.
Rhonda has been an amazing influence in my life. Her gift of listening is rare and healing. She truly meets you where you are at. Her kindness and compassion gives space for true therapeutic work to happen.
Ive been seeing Rhonda for several months now and am very pleased. She is knowledgeable, personable, and supportive while still giving you a bit of a push if/when you need it. I would definitely recommend her.
Rhonda has always been extremely knowledgeable, kind, and helpful. Our community is very lucky to have her services. I have and will continue to highly recommend her to those seeking therapy.
Ive know Rhonda her entire life and feel she is one of the best therapists I have ever known. She recently helped me getting through the passing of my wife of over 50 years while she was going through difficult times of her own at the same time. She also helped me get through a very difficult medical issue that involved nutrition and cancer 4 years ago. I would recommend her to anyone who needs support and help.
Rhonda has helped me so much through relationship and self esteem issues. I would not be the happy mom I am without Rhonda. She is nonjudgmental and always treats me with the utmost respect while giving practical advice. Love her!
I’ve worked with Rhonda professionally for 15 years. She is passionate about finding and utilizing the best practices in her work with clients. Through her work using ACT, family therapy and evidence based eating disorder treatment, Rhonda has helped many people who are struggling, find peace.
I have never received therapy from Rhonda so this is a review based on knowing her professionally as a colleague. Rhonda stays up to date with the field (e.g., she attends conferences), so she does not provide any really out dated therapies. In fact, the treatments she offers are scientifically proven they work for specific populations. Rhonda also goes above and beyond when it comes to continuous growth as a therapist. For example, she created a study group with community clinicians that meets regularly with the purpose of improving certain therapy skills. Interpersonally, Rhonda is a very validating person. She will take the time to genuinely understand and hear you. She also has a good sense of humor, but she is no joke! I think that, if you do go to see her, she will definitely challenge you to start taking steps towards the life you want to live.
I’ve seen Rhonda for a little over a year. She is very professional and understanding counselor. She has gone above and beyond to accommodate scheduling for my husband and I. I highly recommend her!
Rhonda has helped me many time over the years I have seen her. She practices advanced therapy methods that seem to really work ! She is definitely no-nonsense and you cant get away sitting and blabbing just to waste time. If you want to get fixed, you have to be honest and participate. If not, your wasting your time.
I saw Rhonda in high school and the beginning of college, and she was amazing at working with my own anxieties and feelings, along with seeing my family for some sessions as well. She was very affirming and helped me to develop skills to recognize my thoughts that were irrational, and how to express my feelings in a way that would be heard. I have a lot of respect for her as a therapist and a person. I would highly recommend seeing Rhonda for anything surrounding familial relationships, anxiety/OCD, and body image.
I have been seeing Rhonda since February 2018 due to family and employment issue. These issues have caused extreme depression and anxiety, Rhonda had always listened and has given me coping skills! She is the BEST!
Rhonda uses some very cool techniques to help you realize that you have power over your thoughts. If you caught in thought loops that are not serving you well then I highly recommend working with Rhonda.
Rhonda is an incredibly intuitive therapist. She has supported me through many tough times.
Worst service ever received, patient beware. Therapist will use your personal problems against you. Untrustworthy and very unprofessional.
