Update…Horrible experience with several therapist at this counseling office. Never even made it into therapy. The two women I spoke with were so crass and rude over the phone they made it completely hostile and uninviting. They even got to the point of over talking and yelling at us. I have therapist and psychologist as family and friends and they were appalled to hear the conversations I had with these two women. Definitely would not recommend….. update…. As a response to your reply I must inform you that it was Michelle and Connie two of the therapist that I spoke to. so yes I did speak with two different therapists. they were completely incompetent, rude, demeaning and mean people. Therapy is still a former customer service and you’re massively lacking in that department no need to respond! You are in the wrong, you treat people badly and you should reconsider your actions.

Michelle is the most incompetent therapist Ive ever met in my life. My girlfriend and I went in for some help. We already had a diagnosis and were looking for further treatment. Michelle immediately claimed that we did not in fact have this diagnosis and told my girlfriend she didnt think her boyfriend was meeting her emotional needs. She left the room so my girlfriend could write down her needs, and Michelle could be heard in the next room booking a flight for her upcoming vacation. And apparently cannabis causes bleeding behind the eyes. There are openings here for a reason, folks. Stay as far away from this quack as possible. It saddens me that there are people like Michelle in this profession.

I really appreciate choice for change. I have only went twice. But I already feel better. Maria is great.

Best.Therapist.Ever! I Initially chose Michelle Serlins office because it was one of the few that accepted my (then) current insurance. Great Decision!!! Michelles office is diverse in therapists and clientele. Her office staff works with multiple insurance companies with ease, always taking the time to explain benefits and expected co-pays. Unlike many therapists Michelle is willing to make house calls and always goes the extra mile when working with clients. She expresses genuine concern andcaring in her client relationships that contains a personal element not found in many traditional counseling agencies.

I met Michelle over a phone call initially when I was in college and struggling financially but was also having panic attacks. She agreed to take me on as a client for a reduced fee. Michelle worked diligently and carefully to help me work through the anxiety to recover fully and move on to have an amazing and full life. She is an amazing therapist. And a gifted one. I think Michelle sees the beauty in people but I don’t think she sees “color” or “race”. She sees an individual with unique experiences. Any comments to the contrary are revealing about the author, NOT the Michelle I came to know and trust.

I saw Michelle Serlin at choices for change and I assure you that she is not a racist! Im African American and she helped my husband and myself through some marriage trials. She is an amazing and wonderful person!!
