I was in desperate need of getting my brows done, as it had been months. My usual eyebrow lady is back on the mainland and she does threading but there are no good threading places nearby. A quick google search brought me to Simply Summer and I booked an appointment with Beth. I arrived and unfortunately Beth was running behind schedule so Summer herself took me in and did the most phenomenal job on my eyebrows. I am still amazed at how beautiful they are now! I think I’ve found my new favorite place to get my brows done!There is metered street parking outside the building and it is very affordable.

I went to simply summer because of their outstanding reviews. I am a regular waxer for the last ten years. I went in for a bikini wax and thought it strange the aesthetician stayed in the room while I undressed…I myself am comfortable, but still it was awkward. After a week and a half after my wax I have noticed several broken hairs and irritation on the bikini area. Again, I’m a regular waxer and this is not normally how my experience goes. My wax usually lasts at least three weeks with zero irritation. I would not recommend this salon.

My favorite wax salon ever!! All the ladies are so friendly. The decor in each room is so fem and cute. Music creates an easy vibe and makes getting a Brazilian a tad less painful lol. I travel almost an hour across island just to get my wax done here. Love it!

Kalena was wonderful! I scheduled last minute and they worked me in fine. They do texted me to confirm everything. I was really happy with my results. This place is more personal and doesn’t feel like a doctors office like other waxing salons. I will be returning here regularly!

So I actually got a wax here nearly a year ago but after going to EWC I had to leave a review here. I honestly cannot remember who my waxer was, but she was absolutely amazing! Every staff member I met was friendly and nice they didn’t rush anything and took their time and made it not only a great wax quality wise but a great experience. The process for their wax hurt so much less than at EWC because at EWC she spent more time explaining how to exfoliate than she did waxing, however here she got it done relatively quickly while making sure I wasn’t in too much pain or anything. I HIGHLY recommend this place and will always be coming here in the future.

We love this place! A couple blocks from the studio so easy to hop over and take care of business! All our instructors come here because of the atmosphere, quick work, skill, and the cleanest waxing boutique with the nicest staff in Kailua. HIGHLY RECOMMEND!!! You won’t be disappointed

My partner and I came here when he needed his eyebrows done. Most places give him feminine brows even though he describes in detail what he wants - which is to not look feminine. Summer got it on point! He’s freshly “man” scaped in the best way, thanks to her. We will definitely continue to go here.

I have been going to Simply Summer Hawaii since early 2012. I remember the 1st Brazilian I got was just before I moved to New Zealand. I have been waxed by Summer (owner), Angel, and Lacey. There was 1x last year that I waxed almost my entire body and I was very happy with the results. My husband has also had a wax a couple times too. There has been at least 2x that my appt wasnt scheduled but there is always room for improvement. I do wish there was better parking. Overall I am satisfied with this company and would recommend them to others.
