Planet Fitness is a top-notch gym. I have personally had some of the best workouts here then any other gym in my 4 years of lifting experience. Shane the owner has been a great help and very welcoming. I recommend this gym to anyone looking to better themselves and get to work!

I joined Jupiter Planet Fitness a couple months ago because it is a newer gym, clean and conveniently located. Furthermore, most of the employees there are very friendly and professional.However, this review is specific to one individual employee named Anthony. From the very start of my attendance at this gym, Anthony has continually harassed me by limiting my workouts to specific locations in the gym and limiting my time on equipment despite there not being anyone waiting. He purposefully watches every move I make every time I attend in an attempt to disrupt my workouts. I have called corporate to bring his harassing behavior to their attention and I am waiting for their reply.If there is anyone else who has had a similar experience with this individual, I encourage you to contact corporate and launch a complaint. I have been going to gyms my whole life and have never had this experience and it is my hope that corporate will address this individual to correct the behavior.

Super early is the time to go. Always clean. Never any issue getting a great workout in and getting on with the day.

Awesome facility with new clean equipment and amazing amenities such as the water massage chairs, regular massage chairs, and tanning beds. Planet Fitness also maintain a fresh smelling environment and a large variety of equipment so you never have to wait on a machine.

They go out of your way to make sure youre happy

First gym I’ve gone to, using it for motocross strength training and endurance. I was sort of overweight when I was younger and still was a bit when I started going. I was really nervous, but the environment and atmosphere helped me get over that. All the staff there is super nice and helpful, and always willing to help. I’ve kinda gotten to know Anthony, Casey, Joey, and lee a bit and they are great people. The way they handle the gym and make it such a great environment keeps me consistent with training

Excellent staff at this location but theyve only been operating on one tanning bed for some time now. Every time Im done training theres a giant tanning hold up because of this issue. I am not sure why upper management does not get the second one fixed. Kudos to a solid work force there but upper management is dropping the ball with the tanning so I am forced to transfer elsewhere.

Its clean and has a very nice staff, especially the assistant manager Casey. I just wish your corporate office would give the local management more control of the TV stations which are broadcast. There are some TV stations like CNBC with little viewership and no Golf Channel which in southern FL is a no brainer. On the weekends when golf tournaments are in full swing, CNBC is showing infomercials for air fryers. Ridiculous for a gym. Please let the clubs in both Jupiter and Palm Beach Gardens show the Golf Channel. Thanks.

Cancellation is a nightmare! I highly discourage others from visiting this gym.

Very disappointed in the measures taken to ensure a safe environment during covid. It is stated that masks be worn at all times (except when actively working out). So everyone wears a mask in the door then takes it off for the remainder of the time there. There was no way to stay socially distanced from the crowd of people not wearing masks. I have been to other planet fitness location who do a great job in enforcing masks to make sure all guests can have a safe workout. I know it is a challenge to enforce but it is for the greater good of all the guests to have a safe experience. I was not comfortable at all being in the facility while everyone walks around and congregates without masks being worn at any time.

Worst gym ever. Extremely unethical. It cares not about health or it’s customers. They are only about the money.They’ve especially shown their true colors and lack of care for customer safety during the pandemic. They charged my account in the middle of pandemic spike when account was frozen, and refused to refund any despite the fact that I did not attend the gym.Most companies work with their clients that have health issues (and can’t work out indoors with people that don’t wear masks which is precisely what happens here). This place is a clear health hazard, and is overcharging while making it as hard as possible to cancel or freeze. Too many other options to put with them. I cancelled my membership. Despite the convenient location, never going here again.

Great place, amazing customer service I decided to cancel membership at the moment until I decide if I am going back or not, Kayce took care of all details, was very respectful,professional and differently from other gyms they never tried to insist for make me staying, neither gave me a hard time with cancelation process, it was all smooth and professional. Dont hand over your bank information to these criminals. They have been double charging me for 4 months. Every month I beg and plead with them to stop double charging me but every month they hit my bank again 2 times, just like the 2 timing criminals running this place. The only way to make the charges stop is to close my bank account (not easy right now) Im out hundreds of dollars with my od fees. Im sure the owner will ignore this review just like the owner ignores his own double dealings.

As much as I really like the gym itself, the staff loves the lunk alarm a little too much. We were there for a half hour today and the alarm went off FOUR times. No one had dropped a weight or anything, so there was no reason for this. It’s completely ridiculous and annoying. It’s the opposite of a judgment-free zone. This happens every single time. Lay off the freaking alarm! Jeez! I’ve been to numerous other PFs and they don’t do this. Just. STOP.

I love this GYM!! Staff is awesome, place is VERY clean, equipment is amazing, tanning, massage chairs and red light standup is priceless. Fantastic training classes that are like having a personal trainer. Planet Fitness is a must go to for 2020. Keep loving yourself and body. This gym is awesomeness!

I tried to cancel over the phone a couple of times, due to COVID, and they are making me come in or write a personal letter (when was the last time anyone has to write a personal letter to cancel anything?). They will not make exceptions to what was written in their contract that was signed before COVID. Most companies are making exceptions and bending over backwards for their clients during this time. Not these guys. Awful. Plenty of other options out there and I bet the competition has more empathy for their clients than Planet Fitness has for thiers.11/12/20 - Update. I ended up going in there to cancel. They provided no credit for the previous months. It felt unclean and dirty. Several people working out without masks (masks not required). I couldnt help thinking what if just one of them had COVID.

Wearing a mask in-between machines is like wearing a mask in your car. It is useless! If you are worried about COVID then you should not be in a gym full of people breathing hard and covered in sweat.

Wonderful location, great selection of machines and attentive staff. Only downside is that its hotter than other locations Ive used. Limited fans for air circulation, so the high temp is really noticeable.

Incompetent staff had me waiting in the change room for over an hour to take a shower because the drains were clogged. Then told me it wont be done today. Thanks for wasting my time.

I have tried almost every chain gym in palm Beach county and can safely say planet fitness is the cleanest one with the best hours. The staff is friendly and the price is almost to cheap. The only drawback is the lack of free weights. They do have a lunk alarm which they sound if you are being loud or obnoxious but if you are a considerate gym goer it shouldnt affect you. I use it as a secondary gym if I miss my main gyms hours. The crowd is very non fitness oriented though and you will run into allot of kids and elderly that view it as social hour. But that is not anything to really worry about.

At least 75% of the people here do not wipe off equipment when done. This morning I observed a trainer (tattooed on both arms wearing glasses) lead a yoga class then put the mat back without cleaning it. Management needs to help

I was excited to visit the new location today and had a terrible experience. I walked in with my husband, daughter and nephew and before getting checked in one of the workers offered my daughter and husband a new water bottle. Keep in mind she never informed any of us that they were only for members. My husband said sure and grabbed one, she was very nice and gave me one too. My daughter and husband happened to be guests, so after my daughter provided the manager with her number she commented that the water bottles were only for members. My daughter said ”ok here you go” trying to give it back, so she asked her ”do you really want it” my daughter told her she did so she let her keep it. The manager then made a comment to my husband ”look at all of you guys, not even a member and taking our water bottles”. It wasnt really what she said, it was how she said it. I myself am a member but didnt like her comment so I returned to give her their water bottles back. I professionally and boldly informed her that I didnt like her comment and I would like to return her bottles. She then said she was just joking, I told her that her comment was not necessary and I didnt want the water bottles. She then accused my husband of throwing his water bottle away which was extremely rude because I returned my husbands water bottles. I returned to explain that my husband wasnt the one who threw it away. She rudly ignored me, so I made noise because this was so rude and unprofessional of her to ignore a customer like that. I then made it very clear that it wasnt my husband who threw it away, she then had the nerve to tell me ”well thats what I was told” 🤔 excuse me but she didnt even know who my husband was. Anyway she was extremely rude, needs to be retrained. Doesnt have people skills whatsoever. I believe her name is Briana but I might he wrong. This was on 11/20/2019 at about 6:30 pm and she was a female manager.

The staff are friendly, but...this new location is off to a really rough start. Drinking fountain is warm water. Now the drinking fountain is broke and barely usable. TVs are way out of wack. Left side has 4 TVs with same channel and several TVs are off. Only has one clock that hasnt worked since day 1. Not sure whats going on with this P.F.

New equipment and nice people that work there

I joined the PBG location back in August and learned that there was a new location opening in Jupiter. I live in Tequesta. I work out usually 5-6 days and various times of the day. I liked the one in gardens but it was a hike and I was excited for the new location. In gardens if a machine went down it was fixed within a day and they always wiped down equipment through the day even after all guest wipe after using. The gym in Jupiter has way more equipment to offer which has the P360 area with ropes, kettle bells, medicine balls, the ab area is also separated... the bathrooms and showers are nice, and the lounge area where the hydro massage has nice black leather couches that are comfortable to sit when waiting to use the hydro massage or a little rest after working out. They have tons of cardio machines, way more than gardens location which was surprising and they also have two other machines I’ve yet to learn and the low row cardio machines. So for any that are looking for a gym that has so much to offer minus a sauna and a swimming pool, PF is the place to be. 24/7 gym with lots of stuff, the app has workouts to try and the classes are included. I have the black card and my son has the regular for gardens. So he goes to the gardens one for after school and I bring him as guest to Jupiter location when we workout together. Definitely can say I finally enjoy working out thanks to PF!
