Do not hire this company. My sons room had water damage in his closet that backed up to the bathroom tub. We had another company do the remediation for that. We hired joe at Tcoast handyman services to come to the repairs and a, title remodeling. We paid $3,330 for the,m to repair a patch of drywall in closet, install 2 panel bifold shaker doors, install flooring, remove and install new baseboards, paint base trim, closet and touch up room walls, and assemble, repair, and install existing closet shelves. Each one of these descriptions, had a problem. On top of what we paid joe, WE paid and provided 160sq ft of Cali bamboo vinyl floor planks, we provided the bifold shaker doors, hardware and the paint. So to sum this up joe and his coworker came and did the repairs. First glance at the closet, I noticed it was slanted/tilted. He told me it’s because some of the bullseye shelves were damaged from the water. Ok, well that’s why we paid you to repair them and we had also discussed that if they weren’t going to work, we would pay for new shelves that they sell at Home Depot. We paid him. I contacted him about the closet and some other details so he came back and attempted to fix he closet up baseboards. I glanced at closet and said it looked better. Well this situation is partly my fault, because I did pay him for a job not done. When I reached out to him over a month ago with my complaints, he has ignored three of my texts.the paint job is sloppy on the walls, baseboards and closet doors, he patched three small holes in bedroom that look awful, the doors are hung at different levels, the vinyl flooring isn’t clicked down in some spots leave some sharp corners, the caulking is sloppy. Just the entire job was so so so sloppy. And I read his reviews, which is why we hired him. Well big mistake. He has not gotten back to me after my last text, 21 days ago asking him to come and touch up some things. Very unprofessional joe. Here are some pictures to explain the review a litle more. Learn from my experience and do not pay this company until you thoroughly check their work.

They replaced door trims, added window trim, installed toilets, pedestal sinks, installed shiplap, tv mount/and added power for wall lights. Joe will do what you ask, while giving his honest opinion if you’re unsure. Pleased with the work.

Joe has a lot of experience and was able to help answer some questions I had about my house that were unrelated to the work he was doing. Awesome professional and great guy to talk to. Thanks again Joe and I’ll be sure to use you again with any other projects. Highly recommend!

My wife and I had three major jobs that needed doing, as well as a few minor jobs. We live in a two-bedroom condo in Jupiter and both do quite a lot of work at home on our dining room table. We needed a better filing system than file boxes piled on top of each other and piled paper strewn over the table. Under our stairway, which is opposite the table, is where our HVAC unit is located. This area under the staircase was enclosed, with two narrow bi-fold doors allowing direct access to the HVAC unit. The remaining space beneath the staircase as it descends, however, was essentially wasted. Our idea was to buy a Pottery Barn filing cabinet (it looks more like a dresser than a traditional filing cabinet), embed it into the wall beneath the lower end of the staircase so that none of it protrudes into our living space, and widen the access door to enable access not only to the HVAC unit but to the embedded, back end of the filing cabinet and the storage area around it. If the storage area could be opened up this way, we could then put a printer on top of the filing cabinet (rather than upstairs on the floor) within the previously wasted space, out of sight yet within easy reach of where we worked at the dining room table. We could also put a paper shredder in there, my toolbox and, at the storage area’s less accessible end, items like AC filters, paint, Christmas decorations, etc.We didn’t know of anyone in the condo complex who’d done this sort of project, but our next-door neighbor recommended Joe, who’d done some work for him a few years earlier. We invited Joe to come to the condo to discuss this relatively unconventional project. Joe proved to be smart, imaginative, professional, and a true pleasure to work with. He suggested several improvements to our plan and, when the time came to commence work, he and his partner did the job extremely well and efficiently. Their work involved cutting a hole out of the drywall through which to feed the filing cabinet, leaving only the drawers exposed, then installing trim around the outside of the cabinet; cutting several inches out of the drywall and framing the area for the new wider door; replacing the baseboard on the wall beneath the staircase; and providing an electrical outlet for the interior of the storage area.In the spare bedroom, we had a double closet that ran the length of one wall. Needing a lockable storage space because we sometimes rent out our unit, we asked Joe to divide the closet in two, making one side lockable. He framed and drywalled the division, replaced all the closet doors, laid new flooring where the tracks of the old doors were removed, and installed a locking mechanism on the doors to our new storage area.In the half-bathroom downstairs, we’d had a leak and some water damage. One of the walls into which the pocket door slides had become unanchored from the floor. Joe anchored the wall and replaced the baseboard. We had half a dozen other little jobs such as replacing the hinges on our screen door, installing shelves in a closet, and installing a storage rack. All these jobs were done with a minimum of fuss.Joe did all this work in, I think, three days. He is straightforward, honest, resourceful, and as thoughtful and pleasant a person as you’ll ever have in your home. Most importantly, he does the job you want done and does it well. We are extremely pleased with how everything worked out. In all my 67 years, Joe is one the best people I’ve ever hired. I cannot recommend him any more highly.

Many thanks to Joe and his assistant for taking on my unique project of converting an old dining room table into a headboard. They were very efficient and did a great job. Afterwards, I called Joe and asked him to do a favor for me and he was kind enough to take time out of his day to complete it for me. I would highly recommend Joe to anyone that needs an excellent carpenter.
