This place is absolutely WONDERFUL!!!!! I called them and asked if they could just check and see what was wrong with my car, Chad said bring it in and he could take a look for me put it up on the machine, within seconds told me what was wrong with it, said it was unsafe to drive kept it there and fixed it right away! That is the best mechanic service I have ever had and the absolute best I have ever delt with. These guys are the best.

As soon as I entered the shop I was greeted and helped immediately. I was initially told by another shop that I had a leak which was causing my car to overheat. After about 5 minutes they were able to find the real issue and I was in and out of the shop in an hour. Price was extremely reasonable. I am very happy with my service and will only bring my vehicles to this shop from now on. Great customer service and service all around.

Pros: Very friendly staffCheaper than other places nearbyCons: Work can take longer if police cars need work done, but they are pretty fast when they dont have that problem.This place is awesome a while back I was in there and they werent busy, so I sat down with some complete strangers and we talked about vehicles and told stories for almost 2 hours. Super friendly people.They work on the towns Police cars, so if you want fast service, its not guaranteed, if a police car comes in, they have priority.

Recently moved in (military) and thought I needed a ton of work done. I was truly dreading it. But I’m five seconds they pinned pointed the problem and fixed it quickly! They didn’t take advantage and charge me for work I didn’t need. I really appreciated the service!

We broke down on I70 on our way to Colorado. The tow truck dropped our car at J & R automotive at 11pm. By 7am they were working on our car and by 10am we were back on the road. They were fast, friendly and at a very fair price!! I would highly recommend them!

This place is great. I worked with Chad and hes a knowledgeable guy who shoots straight with you on time for repairs and price estimates. Work on my truck was done quickly and professionally. I highly recommend this shop to anyone needing vehicle work.

I have never been so mistreated by a company before in my whole life. First, they called me up angry because they weren’t able to get to our battery in the trunk of our vehicle. So we told them that we would just come get our car. When we get there they said the car was fine that they were able to jump the vehicle and got it fix. We paid our bill and left. We go a few blocks down the road and our car dies. We call them back up upset that they didn’t fix our car and wanting a tow. We also asked for a refund till they fixed the car. They started calling my husband fu***** stupid and started cussing at him. I take the phone from my husband and asked to speak to the manager. The manager gets on the phone and also being rude stating the battery is just wrong. I said if the battery is wrong why didn’t you fix it. I wanted to know what we pay for to get fix. I asked for a refund again. We asked for the name of the person who worked on our vehicle to ask him specifically what he did to our car. The manager stated that they could not give us the name and banned us from returning to their place.

Honest, all you need to know. Wont rip you off, wont charge you for something you dont need, will tell you exactly what is wrong and wont try to make up any other issues so you can pay more. Will try and find you, the most affordable parts and prices.

These guys are the best in town. Their prices are very, very reasonable. And their staff is very professional. Quality of work is top notch. I would recommend to anyone.

Best shop I have found in the Manhattan/Junction City area. Great transparency on their behalf of issues with my vehicle and problem solving. Also, very reasonable rates in comparison to other shops. After trying 4 other shops, this is my favorite by far.

I came to this place because my car was shaking really badly. I thought I just needed a balance or an alignment. The mechanic brought me one of my tires to show me how damaged it was. He said it was dangerous to continue driving on, but he didnt have my correct size tire, but he had a slightly bigger used tire he could put on until I could get somewhere to replace the tire. I asked how much it would be and he said he wouldnt charge me, because he didnt want me to put my two small kids in the car and drive it on that tire. They charged me only the minimum charge for a half hour of labor. I was very impressed with their concern and they seemed to care more about my and my childrens safety than making money. I will recommend this place to anyone.

Great shop honest people and owner is very friendly. They tell you the truth and dont sugar coat anything or lie in order to get more money best place in town to get your car fixed in my opinion.

The nicest mechanics/ staff in town and super reasonable on pricing. Had a horrible experience in Manhattan with the Honda dealer and refuse to go to Honda for anything that my warranty wont cover. J & R will be my familys 1st choice auto shop from here on out!

Great job. Dealer had said our transmission needed replacement; however, J&R fixed without replacing. Noise is gone and acceleration is restored. J&R was very easy to work.

Great service. Local government and busi esses also bring their vehicles here for servicing so it definitely says something about their abilities. Customer service is good. Once an issue is found and you want ir fixed they immediately put parts on order and can have the parts in stock and installed within a few days at the latest. Very reasonable prices, honest assessments and recommendations.Do yourself a favor and stay with local businesses in this case. J&R is a good local business to support, rather than the Firestone down the road for example. Firestone is a ripoff and their customer service is not honest.

I took my car in to get the oil pump changed, had paid to get my car towed into the shop and after they informed me that they can complete the job. In middle of being in the field I get a call of them stating they wont do the job so I now have to spend money to get my car towed to a new shop that will complete the job I pay them for... Worst place I have ever come across...never recommend them in a lifetime
