I frequent this location at least twice a week and have never had an issue with the facilities or personnel. This location has a KIOS and oversized drop box. I actually walked in today and no one was in line, but with most post offices, it can be hit or miss when it comes to lines. Shipping supplies are ample and readily available. Navigating into this facility can be a bit tricky as the parking lot is small and some of the parking can be tight. I like the location because it is on my way to the gym or church. Cut the employees a break, they are good people and with any job, there can be stress.
Reality helpful staff, helped me locate my package of Christmas gifts that was lost in the mail. Thanks everyone for your help! Highly recommended ñ
Always very helpful. I wish I could remember her name but every time I go in there she helps me with my messes 😊
My experience in recent months has changed. The staff inside are quick, and knowledgeable. One individual has a great personality and is always happy and passes that on to the customers. Mail system has improved and I havent had an issue recently with packages being returned like a year or two ago. That seems to have been fixed.
They have now lost 3 of my packages. And even though they were shipped priority and were supposed to be insured, I got every excuse possible why it was not their fault. You have one job people. Sometimes mistakes happen. When they do take responsibility and make it right.
The one person at the desk is great. Like I said, one person. This is ridiculous.
I used to ship 20+ packages a week with USPS but ended up switching to UPS. Not only is this location closed from 1:30-2:30 (which I think is absolutely ridiculous), their customer service is awful. They always seem so frustrated that I’m bringing packages in, which is THEIR JOB. (Not to mention I always have my packages labeled and ready to go). I would give them zero stars if I could.
This is the second time in the last year that I sent a package with a required signature to my daughter, the carrier stated no one home to receive, which is not true, first of all you need to get out of the vehicle/mail truck, ring a doorbell and ask for the signature. There was someone home each timeThe mail person was too lazy to go to the door. Therefore, from now on I will go to Fed Ex for delivery of my packages. Now my daughter has to make a trip to the list office to pick up the package. Thank you very much for your poor service.
Joe was extremely helpful and kind. best experience Ive had at a post office.
The best of the two post offices in Joplin. Smaller so less people and faster (relative to USPS) service.
Terrible customer service. Atrocious wait time.
Shirt lines every time Im here. Prompt service!
Couldnt deliver a small box of pop figures to my door. Got a text that they couldnt reach my door. Next day they deliver something much more expensive right to my door. I called them to hold it so I could just pick both of them up but they still delivered. Horrible experience.
I do like most the people here, One guy seems to overcharge me every time compared to the other girls when I go to ship the same priority packages but never quite clear why he’s just $3-$5 more - when I asked why it’s higher he shrugs his shoulders and says I don’t know - overall though everyone is helpful.... The hours are not helpful so I tried using the Kiosk - week after week always something... Most frequently the Kiosk card payment will not scan, which of course is the last part of the process. You would think that if you’re the only Kiosk available after hours that you would insure it was always working correctly but I am looking at it from a customer service issue and not from an hours of service by the Post Office issue - So, to overcome my Kiosk payment processing woes I went to printing my labels online-taping them to my boxes great method works well for me - can drop off anytime so it doesn’t cut into my business week hours only one problem - the drop tub where you leave the packages is either so full it’s jammed or locked the entire weekend... again like the payment processing part of the Kiosk if it’s the only one in town available to service after hours needs shouldn’t someone keep it running...? I made three trips even drove to the other post office trying to get this package off my plate to free up during the work day with zero success - tub was locked tight all weekend and north Main Street location has nothing that accepts packages larger than 14oz... I mean guys really... come on, develop a method and keep this equipment working at all hours not just when you’re open or have multiple drop off points or better hours...
Shouldnt have deaf person at counter when youre asking about when my letter is going to get there & girl just mumbles something I dont understand or when it gets there is when is when it gets there. Thanks that really intrtested.
Terrible experience. Ordered a package and paid for 2 day shipping. Package was never delivered on time.
I havent had a problem with this office and its usually pretty quick but if you have problems with us postal just spend the extra and go ups.
Takes a week to get my mail and then its always late
I think theyre really working to improve customer service
They lose packages and try to say theyve delivered them. When you call to check on stuff they take your information and then they dont call back... ever.... if I could I would give them a point on a star maybe.......
The people are extremely friendly
Its your standard issue, local post office! Snail mail will NEVER stop!
Their hours are from 9:30 to 1:30 then 2:30 to 4:30 not open very long and theres always a line.
Get all your mail order needs
THEY SURE HELPED ME OUT
Its central.
Sucks never open
Understaffed
