My husband surprised me with a pair of earrings for my birthday and they are absolutely gorgeous! The diamond halo sparkles beautifully around the rich, royal blue sapphire, just stunning!!! Also I love the way they gift wrapped it, a very luxurious touch!

My husband had my engagement ring fixed for our anniversary. It looked so beautiful when I got it. They did such a wonderful job. I wash my hands alot and use a ton of lotion. So I must admit it was very dirty. I could see a very noticeable difference between my engagement ring and my wedding band. But didnt have time to wait for them to clean it. They gave me some of there cleaner and it is amazing! You have excellent customer service!

Could not say enough good things about Newtons. Although, I was not apart of my now husbands purchase for my engagement ring. He had nothing but rave reviews. We also had to move very last minute due to his work. With such a beautiful ring and wedding band I didnt trust any large chain or other jeweler to resize them. I called them the day before we were leaving and they fit it in to be resized. They were quick, kind and it turned out amazing. If ever in the Joplin area again we will be back!

I have honestly not been in for a couple of years but the staff was wonderful and of course loved all of the beautiful jewelry. I still have my necklace that I received as a gift and love it just as much now as I did when I received it!

I have tried to do business here several times over the years and have always been treated rudely. My last trip in was several years ago. I took my great aunts antique amethyst necklace in to be reset as a ring and was told the amethyst wasnt real. (Mr. Newton didnt even take it out of my hand.) Another very reputable jeweler told me it was real and why he knew it was. Im baffled why other people say this is a good jeweler.

I went in to have my engagement/wedding ring resized and the FIRST thing the lady said was my prongs were missing on my ring and she was surprised that my diamond hadnt fallen out. I asked her how the prongs could be missing. She said they just wear down and have to be replaced. I havent worn my ring in years, so how could it have worn down?She quoted me $230 to repair the prongs snd resize. Scratching my head, I left with my ring. Then it hit me. When we bought the ring in the first place we knew it was a PRONGLESS engagement ring .So they were trying to pull a fast one on me by wanting to make a repair that didnt need to be made. WHAT KIND OF JEWELER doesnt know the difference between a ring with prongs and one without?!? Scam.

I came here needing a ring resized and I am currently going through a family emergency. The staff here were kind and very understanding. They exceeded my expectations and showed me such kindness. I was speechless. The workmanship was also excellent. Newtons Jewelers will be my jewelry shop moving forward.

I should have written this review awhile back. When I had lost a back to my earring, I was told that I should visit Newton’s and they might be able to help me because it was the kind of back that wasn’t easy to replace. So I stopped in and they got me fixed up and cleaned my earrings too. At no charge for either. They didn’t have to do anything for free but they definitely left a lasting impression on me. I will always refer friends to Newton’s.

This is the rudest place I have ever been as far as customer service... I will not recommend them to any one.. I called up there to ask if they took silver and gold and they said did u read our website I said yes I did they said did it say any where that said we did I said no it did not they said then we dont... I said excuse me sometimes websites dont say that and they do and I got hung up on... That is not a way to do business with people...
