I went to Comeau to have a custom ring made that added on to one I already had that held a lot of sentiment. They recreated the ring twice with different stones and soldered all three together to make one beautiful cohesive ring. I am ecstatic with the final result! The staff was very professional and courteous. I received my grandmother’s engagement ring after she passed away and needed to get it sized so I could wear it. They looked at the ring and advised to have the prongs holding the diamond in repaired as well. I was very impressed with how helpful they were. They were also very fast - dropped it off on Saturday and it was done on Wednesday. Very pleased with the work!!

I have not worn my wedding ring for three years because it had a broken shank because I work with my hands all the time. I finally took it in to have it resized and have the shank fixed. The gentleman that helped me was very professional gave me options. I chose to put a bigger shank on the ring and have it resized. I also took in Another ring that I had purchased from someone else and had it resized. I can’t say anything as the cost because I don’t know but I will tell you the work was absolutely fabulous. And the gentleman that helped me was a very nice guy. I unfortunately work construction my hands are kind of dirty but I felt like he treated me like anyone else. Definitely my new jewelry store

Comeau is the only jewelry store in Joplin that I would trust with my jewelry. They do everything in their store. You can even watch them while they work. They create beautiful custom jewelry and carry a wide variety of ready-made pieces. The staff is knowledgeable and helpful. I needed a pair of Mariana earrings to match my necklace and bracelet. They didnt have exactly what I wanted in stock, so they ordered a few pair for me to look at to make sure they were what I wanted. I selected a pair today from the ones she got in and I love them. There was no pressure to buy but once I saw them I had to have them! They will also.clean your jewelry for free and let you know if there are any issues. I had them clean a couple of my rings and they tightened some loose stones while they were at it. Good customer service is hard to find... you will find great customer service at Comeau Jewelry. I highly recommend them!

Update: I decided that the size I agreed to have my ring sized to was too small. I went back in to get it a little bigger, expecting to pay because I did agree to the original size. They said they would be happy to resize for no extra charge. Very very happy with their customer service and making sure the customer is happy with the product.I had a ring resized here. The service was wonderful and the work phenomenal. Turn around time was less than a week is all done in house. Very very pleased.

I found Comeau Jewelers here in Joplin out of the internet white pages under watch repair. I had just replaced my watch battery by 2 different and credible places to figure out it was the watch, not faulty battery. Total pains in the u know! I dropped my watch off at Comeau Friday afternoon for an estimate. They called me Tuesday and they needed to order a capacitor. I got my high end watch back for $54. Extremely satisfied customer. Im glad I found a place I could trust like that!

After 6 years of not being able to wear my original wedding ring and thinking it couldn’t be fixed. I took it to Comeau’s Jewelry ...it was in 4 pieces. The diamond setting and the band had fallen apart......Not only did they repair it within a week but when I picked it up it looked better than it did when it was brand new. Comeau resized my birthstone ring. They made certain the stones were secure and the ring was perfectly clean and shiny when I picked it up! I am grateful we have an in-house jeweler with commitment to quality in Joplin!

I went in to see about getting my rope chain necklace that has a single diamond pendant on it repaired because it broke mid-chain. I would have went to Zales (where the necklace was originally purchased) but I was told it would be at least 2 weeks before I would get it back. A friend recommended that I try Comeau Jewelry because they have an on site repair area and he got his fiancés ring resized the same day. He just took it in and left it at the location and got it back that evening.Not only was the woman who helped me very kind and helpful, she also checked on other possible options (like purchasing a new chain) to see if the could save me some cash rather than getting it repaired. Even though I went ahead and got a new 18 chain ($25), she said that I could leave my necklace there and they would be able to repair it sooner for close to the same price. She also recommended a chain necklace that was more sturdy, if I did chose to go ahead and do so. 100% satisfied with Comeau Jewelry Co.
