Nice enough staff, but one of the worst haircuts Ive ever had. Patchy and my wife had to fix the back when I got home. Ive never had a beard trimming prior but Id be surprised if they took more than 90 seconds to do mine. Very uneven, neck had areas where it was smooth and others had a 1/8 left. Didnt follow my jawline and used an electric trimmer. Go elsewhere.

Went in for a routine haircut, and they chopped all my hair off, and the hair that they did cut was uneven. I went to get the haircut for a wedding and it was so embarrassing I had to wear a hat! Be careful!

My husband got a great haircut today. The staff we were able to experience (Marianne, Ashley and Shawn) were are very kind. Shawn gave my husband exactly what he wanted in a haircut and it was very timely done as well. The ladies were so kind to our children and very helpful. We will be returning for haircuts for our boys to get haircuts as well. Very pleased with the wonderful service and the great haircut we recieved. The only down side for us was because they do seem to be family friendly except the music they play. We noticed some words such as b**** that werent censored in the music. I wish they would at least censor it if they played that music. We just put the boys movie a little louder so they werent hearing the music.

I called to let the lady who was cutting my hair know that I’d be a few minutes late getting there. She told me if I was more than 5 don’t come in. Yeah I was a little upset. But life goes on. She then canceled the person whom made an appointment the same time I made mine, that was scheduled 20 mins later. Then when I call to make a formal complaint, they “cannot seem to find her”. “She went on lunch or something”. Normal protocol is waiting 5 mins after appointment time was made for. We made it here with 15 minutes to spare. Very unprofessional. Will not be recommending this business for any type of hair needs.

This has been usual place to get my haircut for the past 4 or 5 years now. Every time I visit Im always greeted by a friendly and welcoming face and treated as more than just a customer. The stylists are always very friendly and attentive as they actually talk to me throughout the entirety of my visit and make sure that what theyre doing is what I want. Its usually pretty quick without feeling rushed or incomplete which is nice for busy people like myself. They have and always will have my business and I highly recommend it to anyone looking for quality service.

Great place for a haircut, especially a fade. Josh does a great job and is very meticulous. As long as you can explain what youd like done, they can make it happen. The little perks like the hot towels and shoulder massage that accompany your haircut are great final touches that make the experience that much better.

Hot towel and brow/mustache trim were not offered as advertised. I left with hair all over my shirt and face. My cut is good but my sons looks like they trimmed around his ears and styled the rest. This is supposed to be a back to school full cut. So I am stuck with a mixed review. Like I said, my cut is good. But my sons was a waste of time and money. And we pay for all these bonus perks and are left wanting. I guess I will have to keep looking for a good barber.

I just wanted to let you know how much I love The Barbershop. I think they did a really good job with it! It’s so inviting and everyone is very friendly. I went in for my first free neck trim and I’ve never even heard of that anywhere else. It’s just such a nice little touch. I had Shannon today and I liked her a lot! 5 stars and I highly reccomend!

The establishment is abhorrent and the workers are utterly incompetent. I had an appointment scheduled at 3:30 for which I checked in at 3:20. After waiting for over 30 minutes and seeing multiple workers standing around on their phones, a few new customers walked in and were automatically seated while I was left waiting well past my appointment time even though there were multiple open barbers. Use to come here often but I will never be back and I encourage you all to do the same. Many better places for a haircut in Joplin. Go somewhere else!!

Ive been going here since they opened in Joplin. I have to say that I have been very pleased with the service I received and the staff has always been kind. I especially like not having to worry about making an appointment prior to coming. Most of the time Im able to get right in to get my haircut. the longest Ive had to wait was 30 to 45 minutes.

Cant beat the price. Experienced barbers. I always leave feeling great and happy with my haircut.

Great place to get your haircut! Everyone always messed up my hair before coming here. I decided to give them a try and it was the best decision I have made involving my hair. They have amazing attention to detail and leave no hair stray. I highly recommend Chris for your hair but the girls also do an outstanding job!!! Give them a try, you will be back!

A great experience for a great price. Services were over the top, just what they used to do at old time barber shops. Their shop is clean, well appointed, and theres half-walls at each station so you can get a haircut and watch sports with some privacy. Free shampoo and conditioner after the cut, so youre not shedding hair clippings all day. No high pressure sales on their products either. 5*

First time here and I was a walk in. Got right in which I was surprised by. The service was great. I received a haircut with beard trim, hot towel after cut while shampooing, and a complimentary shoulder massage. All for $19, how could you go wrong. And had I ended up waiting there was a flat screen and peanuts. Could it get any better, Im not sure. Great experience.

My new favorite place for a haircut. I like the products they use and I like not having to move to the back for a shampoo. They will trim your facial hair and they give a cash discount. Plus you can make appointments OR just walk in. I also appreciate the grown-up feel of the place instead of feeling like some sort of theme barbershop. I dont need to pretend I am in a locker room Very cool.

I would give a 5 star rating if all services advertised were provided. Supposedly you are supposed to get a shoulder massage and hot towel with your haircut but my husband did not recieve either.

Went there for my first time earlier this morning, and it was great! My haircut was fast, with satisfying results and its probably the only place I know in the Joplin area, that gives the best modern haircuts. Ill definitely recommend this place to friends and family, and it wont be ths last time this place sees me.

Worst experience ever. Kimberly cut my hair. She wasnt happy when I barely moved my head, and made it known. She scratched me with her nails. I usually enjoy hair cuts, but I would have been better off with nothing.

I can honestly say that the girl at this place gave me the worst haircut I have ever had, and it does not take a ton to make me happyWhen I went in, I asked for my hair to be trimmed down, same style with a comb over and a part, any length that looks good.She did not give me a comb over or a part. She used electric clippers for the entire cut, including for the top of my hair. My hair is completely uneven now and she did not blend the sides at all. She did not even give me a part. When it was over, I told her it was not what I expected, and she tried to argue with me, even tho I asked her explicitly for a comb over and a part.The only saving grace is that she did not charge me for my haircut.
