Decent prices but they have rudely interrupted my vacation twice now saying I have an outstanding balance. I have not even completed my use with their car yet and they are hounding me. When I call theyβre closed. Theyβve threatened on their second attempt to call the credit agency. Do not use this enterprise.UPDATE. THEY ARE NOW CHARGING ME TOLLS I NEVER WENT THROUGH. IM BEING CHARGED FOR A SIMILAR CAR BUT WITH TEXAS PLATES. I HAD ILLINOIS PLATES. THE CAR WAS IN MY DRIVEWAY AS WELL FOR EVERY TOLL OCCURRENCE. DO NOT USE ENTERPRISE.
I had to take the car back due to the fact that the tire pressure light and oil change lights stayed on. It was checked out by staff who determined the indicators were broken . No attempt was made to fix them or provide a replacement vehicle. Subsequently, I drive the car with those warning conditions constantly on. I dont consider this good service.
They picked me up, brought me to the office. Smooth process but I would have felt better if they were wearing masks..
The mini-van we reserved was not available when scheduled at the Joliet office because they sent it to the dealer for service, even though the day before they called me to verify the time and vehicle. The staff, including manager, it took all three, sent us 5 miles to the Shorewood office because they had a mini-van, but when we got there the manager told us the only mini-van they had just been rented. They told us to go to Bolingbrook, 10 miles away, and I said NO, they would need to go get the van. We went home to wait news that someone had a mini-van. After two hours we got a call that they would give us a Chevy Tahoe for the same price as the mini-van. We then got a Tahoe from the Joliet office so it is clear the staff at both offices were inexperienced and not very good problem solvers. Why didnβt they offer me the Tahoe when I was at the Joliet office instead of sending me on a goose chase? They were more concerned about gabbing with each other rather than serving the customer; we were over 4 hours late departing for our trip. I will not rent from Enterprise again unless there is a change in leadership.By the way, the Brake assist, Automatic braking, and Adaptive cruise control (most important safety features) did not work in the Tahoe. During the return process, I told the representative about the problems, they seemed uninterested and didnβt make any notes. I guess since we got back it was fine.
The staff was okay, I got in and out fairly quickly. The staff member didnβt let me know that my return time was after the branch closed for the day and I would be charged an extra day. The vehicle I was assigned was dirty inside. I had to clean it before my wife would get inside of it. The glass, something stuck on the headliner, footprints on the visor.
The staff here is understanding and and will work with you in a difficult situation. I love these guys theyβre on point!
Overall good experience. Nice people too.Felt bad for them; they could use another person to help out. It was busy like OHare airport in there.
After booking a car with Hertz weeks ahead of a planned trip, and last minute being told that my reservation would have to be postponed days (Iβm understanding of the inclement weather but they hardly made an attempt to compensate or find an alternative) Enterprise saved the day and our trip.I was almost to the point of canceling all other reservations made and calling the trip off all together. Enterprise maintained great communication throughout the whole renting process and in the end even helped out with rate due to the circumstances.The guys at the Joliet, IL location were incredibly helpful and showed true commitment to customer service by getting my family a car as quick and easy as possible and allowing us to take our planned trip.This was my first experience renting a car, and while it was stressful at first Enterprise quickly changed my view on it and needless to say I will exclusively be using them in the future should I need another rental.
We have rented from the Joliet location and always receive excellent customer service. Everyone is friendly, polite and courteous. They have addressed any issues quickly and with kindness. I return to this location because of the quality of customer service.

Rented a 15 passenger van on Friday,. It was ready on time and clean. The place was super busy and the guys behind the counter were hustling, they did a great job! Definitely recommend.
The car I rented was a really nice ride, a Mazda with adaptive cruise control which really impressed me along with the auto high beam off and on... The only thing I didnt like was the rental cost from north dakota to joliet Illinois, but truly you get what you pay for.

Had a rental delivered March 29th to Gerber Collision in Rockdale Il as my car was getting repaired. I set up the rental online for a Mid Sized SUV. What they delivered was a Nissan Maxima which I wasnt happy about but took it anyway. First thing I noticed was very smoky windows that a poor attempt was made to clean them leaving big streaks all over on every window. Took it home and attempted to clean them due to poor visibility. Window cleaner wouldnt work at all so I used wipes made for the seats. Had to really work at to get them halfway clean. Quite obviously the car had been smoked in quite frequently and no serious attempt to clean the interior, especially the windows, was made. The smell of smoke was so heavy it caused my throat to burn. Took it back the following morning and they exchanged it for a Volvo S60 R6 which was perfect. During the exchange I told them I had my dog with me upon which the gentleman sarcastically said was there any dog hair in the Nissan? After all I had went thru just to see clearly out of the windows of the Nissan that remark was uncalled for. Needless to say not happy with this rental. Larry P.S. They havent made any attempt to rectify this situation. Its like tough luck go someplace else.
The two stars is for the easy check in after o booked on line unfortunately the cleanest of the car doing a corona pandemic was the reason you did not get 5 stars. I am editing my review The general manager took the time out to call me listen to my concerns and offer resolution. For that fact alone they get five stars

I had a pretty go exeprience - got a great vehicle that was clean and well maintained for my week-long travels. The only reason I am giving four stars is because of the difference in price I was given when I secured the rental reservation, and my final price. The accuracy in price when securing rentals should be priority, as some people can only afford so much/budget so much. When my rental was $100 than was quoted to me (even though it was taken for the same amount of time as expected) that can put a sour taste in someones mouth.Other than this, my experience was good (at the store and with the car).
My wife reserved a full sized truck. Upon arrival, she was informed that the truck was unavailable due to being sold the previous day. No one contacted us in regards to this matter....so we spent time driving out and not being able to complete intended tasks for the day. Staff was helpful, but we cannot figure out why someone would not have informed us that the vehicle was sold and no longer available. Extremely frustrating.

I rented a vehicle from them and upon returning it, they said the door fell off! Well, it was a van and I only used the driver door and hatch. They said the side did feel off. Well, I didnt use it, therefore, I drove with the door broke....smh

Vehicle smelled like weed SO BAD it was making us all sick!! Told them BEFORE we left and they notated my account about it! Ended up cancelling our trip and returning the car because we could NOT deal with the pot smell! DISGUSTING!!!
Absolutely horrible service. Due to the COVID-19 pandemic I havent been able to change my drivers license since I moved. Employee at this location was a complete jerk about renting me a car since my address doesnt match my license. This is the one and only business Ive dealt with since the pandemic started that was completely inflexible. Enterprise has permanently lost not only my business but my family, which is quite large and we rent a vehicle at least 5x a year, will no longer be using Enterprise either.
They dont offer debit Bank cards to pay for rentals! Not even US Bank cards personal or professional accounts! Pathetic, they have your DL #...so any policies about being burned by shenanigans are mostly conspiracy theories against the anti-establishmentarian-ists.
Wasted 3 hours of my time waiting for them to tell me they dont have time to deal with my reservation or have cars for rent called ans complained left a message for management and still havent been contacted worst service ive ever had hands down

Reserved car month ahead of time and didnt have what I ask for. Got there early said to come back so left and came back at my time . Then car wasnt ready still had to what for them to wash and clean . So much for Reserving a time to pick up. Plus did everything on line for quick pass and still had to go in and give them everything.
The car was filthy when I first got it. But, I insisted that it was not cleaned & needed to be before I took it. The associate was resistant at first; but eventually complied. I realize u guys turn around vehicles swiftly; but they should be disinfected especially during these times.

Office was dirty, the Dodge Caravan was a piece of Junk, even the windshield of the van was all smudged up from what looked like kids finger prints. The staff took care of me quick but was unprofessional in that they were engaged in personal conversations that should not have been held in front of customers.

Given the times we are in you would think that they would be a tad more open minded. The manager, in front of other customers, very loudly asked me if my credit card was going to decline. After telling him that it was a credit card and it wouldnβt decline, he reiterated to me publicly once again that if my card declined he couldnβt help me. As if because I was Hispanic I couldnβt possibly have the funds to afford a deposit. Cam the manager needs a major reality check. If enterprise thinks this is how they keep customers in 2020 they are sadly mistaken.
I usually have nothing bad to say about anything but with everything going on with Covid-19 you are supposed to clean the cars inside and out especially after people have been using them. the car I had was CAKED in dirt and bugs it looked like someone went mudding with all of the doors open and also never cleaned the inside like they were supposed to there were dirt marks and all sorts of stuff on the inside of the car. Now yes I could have cleaned it myself but 1. its a rental not my car and 2. its the companies job to take care of this.

Iβve never really used Enterprise before but was very impressed! My car broke down 1.5 hours from my house and I was able to get a rental from this location nearby to were my car died very easily. The service was great, and they were so flexible when I needed to extend my rental and when I asked to drop it off at the location by my house in the city. Will definitely be using Enterprise again!

While the staff was nice they charged over 700 to rent a small car for a week which is highway robbery two hundred dollars was given back at the end of the week because that was how much the deposit was i feel taken advantage of because I had no choice but to rent the car because mine was in the shop and I had to get to work it took my whole paycheck just to get to work so I didnt lose my job so basically I worked a whole week for free to keep my job.
Great experience and good price. Recently took a family trip to Florida and rented a premium truck for 10 days and received a new 2019 Suburban which was perfect for the trip. Rental price was under other locations in the area and customer service was good. I was in and out when picking the truck up and dropping off. Thank you for the great service enterprise!
I wouldnt recommend the Joliet location. At first it was okay. The manager was nice. I just got back, and another guy told me I owe over $200 when Im actually getting my deposit back.

Every time I come here with smile and positive energy I live with sadness and disappointment! Thatβs not how business should be run! You can do better!
The customer service never disappoints. My experiences with this location have been satisfactory thus far. Prices are reasonable....be sure to make reservations as soon as possible and make sure you pick up your rental early to get the best selection. Check with your employer for discount codes. Parking is not ample at this location, but its understandable given that the store is sandwiched between a restaurant and other stores.
The car had all the wheel covers damaged, I had to keep filling a tire with air because the low tire message came on the digital readout on the dash.I never received any help regarding being able to get wkend rates and seeing we went through COVID $375 is way to much with being unemployed

The customer service was outstanding, the only issue i had was how expensive the daily insurance was, it cost more than how much it was to rent the car. I used to rent on a regular basis a few years ago and the insurance was no where near the 35.00 a day it is now. Definitely makes me reluctant to rent that often. I feel like if the insurance is going to be that pricey per day the renter should be able to get some or all of it back when they return the car if theres no damage. Just my opinion

I ended up having to go to 2 Enterprise locations, however, my experience with them was still a pleasant one. Although I feel like they tried to trick me into having their insurance when I already have my own; by the end of the entire interaction I still ended up paying less than I thought I would have to. The representatives that assisted me made me feel like they were doing everything they could to help me. Also the car that I rented was in immaculate condition.

Rented a supersized van for a Birthday party extravaganza last week. I received a confirmation call 3 days before my rental, confirming all was well. The Party Van was ready for me 1st thing Saturday morning. The staff was friendly, informative and helpful. I dropped the Party Van off in the evening after the facility was closed. No problems. I received a call on Sunday letting me know I was all checked out and good to go. Great Experience.

The gentlemen at Enterprise on Jefferson St. in Joliet are great. While traveling through IL on my way home, I had an accident which rendered my car unable to drive. They were compassionate to my situation and I appreciated how quickly they picked me up, helped me transfer my belongings and then got me into my rental car and on my way in no time at all. It was a blessing!
They had such a carefree attitude like it did not matter i was there. He took his time at everything he did. I stood at counter for way longer than i should have. I was needing a one way vehicle so he pulls out the biggest junkie truck from the back. Told me it had half a tank of gas but that was not the case. The truck stunk like cigarettes. It was my worst experience with Enterprise ever.
This location was extremely difficult to work with. Iβve rented with other locations and this was the only one to give me problems to the point where I was unable to rent a car with them.
I came to this location from a neighboring city where they had the worse customer service ever. The rental process was easy with a reservation. The agent was professional, friendly and moved in an expedient manner to in processing my rental. It would help to have a larger selection of vehicles available. Overall, I would recommend this location to others.
We were stranded early on a Sunday morning due to an accident and they helped us get back on the road and home. Our vehicle was towed to our local body shop and Enterprise changed our contract to a one way trip and kept our costs low. Bottom line, they helped out a stranded, upset, lost couple in a strange town. Excellent customer service, highly recommended!

If I could give them a lower rating, I would. They are horrible! They didnt have a car for me after I reserved one months ahead of time. Then they wanted to give me a car that was nothing like what I ordered. Then they didnt seem to even care that my vacation was now incredibly screwed up because of them. They couldnt be more incompetent and ignorant. Stay away!

Cars smells,Costumer service is terrible, it seems like every single employee is a manager. Be carful they trying to sell you all kind of insurance. Booking online means nothing price and cars are different as soon as you get to this location! Enterprise Joliet should really need to focus on costumer service and being PROFESSIONAL!
Second time in a row I have rented a car and it was nasty inside the first one had dog puke in it the second one from the Juliet Enterprise has dog hair all in and it stunk like a wet dog

They make it easy and to the point. The only downside is the fact that the prices will change dramatically throughout the week. Why rent at $99/day one day and $49/day the next. I recommend using Priceline or some other site to book through enterprise if you feel the price is too high. They can usually get the same vehicle at the same location for a MUCH better price.
This is a great place to rent from, they have great deals and they always pick me up and drop me off Im more than satisfied.Im still renting from enterprise and its just gets better Ive joined enterprise plus with all types of benefits !! Unreal !! and the Joliet office is the best they are very professional and at the same time there just like family these people will bend over backwards to make things work I cant ask for better service thanks enterprise!!!

Everyone was great. My only issue involved the final bill. I was billed for 2 additional days. The amount charged to my account was different than the dates and amount we discussed when I picked up the van.
First off I always rent from enterprise. This time I felt like it was a small issue, I made reservations pick up and go...But the woman who waited on me questioned if my card was a real credit card then googled the name of the card then said to another employee I never seen that before is it real???? What in the world...now remind u Im a platinum member. Been for years... I think now Im going to change ware I rent from with business or recreational purpose.
Very helpful and friendly people working here. Respectfully and serious person.Not a great variety to choose with cars models as my own car but I pass that because people were so patient with me .I wish they could carry several different models just cant handle the few selection in stock.
Had to pick up car the day before New years Eve and the place was VERY busy. Sarah seemed to be working alone even though she was not there alone. She was trying to handle several things at once to keep things moving. She was smiling the whole time and did a great job. I will use this location again!
My husband and I have worked twice in less than 3 months with Cody Hedquist, the Branch Rental Manager. Both times weve walked away saying Cody went above and beyond in not only being so courteous and helpful, but also so very accommodating to our needs. He is a trustworthy gentleman who we felt was looking out for his customers best interest. Cody and this Enterprise location will be highly recommended.
