The best darn barber Ive ever had. And, if that isnt enough, a delightful lady to talk to.

Ive been having my hair cut by the Hip Barber for a number of years and always feel great walking out the door after each visit. She takes her time to listen and then patiently works through each stage in cutting, trimming, shaving, etc. Ive always been impressed that she masters a strong ability to deliver satisfaction to customers with a wide range in styles. And once one becomes a regular, her sense of recall on preferences is also very satisfying. Highly recommended!

Today, I received my first professional shave. As part of that, I had a mini facial and a hair cut. I did not know we had such expertise in our community. Donna, thanks for treating me so well. I am extremely impressed with your professionalism, talent, and attention to detail. I can not speak highly enough of my experience at Hip Barber and am so glad you offer big city services to our area in Johnstown. Thank you again.

Ive been getting my hair cut here for about three years now and have nothing but good things to say about Donna. I have...peculiar hair and Ive never once walked out with a bad haircut. Donna takes the time to make sure the job is done right and that Im happy with the end product. Id never had a hot towel shave before I started going to Hip Barber and theyre definitely worth the occasional splurge.I read the other review that was posted, and Im not sure what was happening there. Theres never been a receptionist working the counter in the three years Ive been walking through the door. I do know that its almost impossible to walk in. I just make an appointment.

I will never attempt to go back there based on the fact that I walk in, they ask what they can help me with and I say a haircut. The barber in the back looks at me, then says no. The receptionist then hands me a business card saying I can call in the future and make an appointment. I dont need a haircut in the future, thats why I came in. Needless to say she wasnt busy nor could the receptionist just take me down then for one. Good thing she turned me down that lead me to shear magic downtown Johnstown with more than enough awesome barbers with the best cuts in town hands down. Im in the military and needed a place I can count on every two weeks and Shear Magic is the Place!!! That is the only thing good I can say about hip barber, Thanks!

Always got a great cut,and shave, also back waxed a little painful, but done well..THUMBS UP.
